Asked for an ombré dark pink and light pink and asked to keep my nails the same length that they were since they said they couldn’t do acrylic tips. The guy didn’t do the ombré even, he filed my nails down super short and when cutting my cuticles he made two of my fingers bleed and one actually hurts when I touch it. On one of my pointer fingers he went off my nail with the gel and it broke off.. I’ve had these only for a couple of hours and haven’t done anything that could possibly damage them. He layered wayyy too much that it’s bulky and I’m just not pleased especially since he charged 48 dollars.

Vicky and Tim are wonderful. The salon is beautiful and clean. The young lady working the front desk was very kind and genuine. She really appeared to enjoy her job and makes everyone who walks through the door feel welcome from start to finish. I will definitely be back. We visited on 08/21/2021

One of my favorite places to go. Have been multiple times and never had any issues. Always well staffed waits were not bad (under 15 minutes) for my two walking experiences. Prices were reasonable as well.

Everyone except the lady at the front desk was completely rude! My mom had a woman that was rough and cried and walked out. They moved me to three different people after this. Not one of them spoke to me. When we payed we were charged full price even tho they look horrible and did not last. My mom had bruises on her legs from the lady. She did tell her she was rough and she got worse from there. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. We were not the only ones dissatisfied!!!

I absolutely love this place. Ive seen so many different nail techs and they are all super friendly. Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be sat down and have someone start on my nails. They always have plenty of techs. My 15 year old daughter and i wont go anywhere else!

First time coming here! Was so impressed with the outcome, staff was super friendly, had a VERY large selection of colors most I think I have ever seen at a salon. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone! So happy to have found this place!

Best nail salon in Knoxville. They are very busy but very efficient. Tim did a dip nail manicure for me in an hour! Very quick but also his quality was excellent.

Every time I go in to Moda with or without a appointment, they always have me seated and out within 5 minutes of me waiting! They always perform great quality service and it doesn’t cost me an abundance amount of money. I always walk out happy and I never feel unsatisfied!

**pics show what I asked for vs. what I got** This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. I went to this place for the first time last week. (was there for over 2 hours) I saw it had good reviews and felt good about it. I called the salon before arriving to see if they accepted walk-ins. I also asked the technician on the phone if they had a tech who was good at nail art because I wanted a specific design. She said to bring a picture and they had people who could do just about anything. I told her that it was just wavy lines moving across the nail in 3 different colors. She said great and to come on in. So when I arrived, I showed her the photo and asked if someone there would be able to do it. She assured me again that it was not hard and told me to sit and wait for the tech. I sat for about 5 minutes until he came and got me. When I sat down, I showed him the picture and asked if this was possible. He said yes.From this point, he proceeded to get up every few minutes and go to the front desk to check people in and out for about 10 mins at a time. He eventually put on my nails and then said someone else would do the design. She came over and tried three times before I kindly asked to stop and for me to choose something else because it was not working. They left me for 40 minutes there with half the nails messed up and the other not even done. Eventually, the first guy came back and did my nails. (he also got up again and left for another 10 mins to work the desk) The new design still turned out nothing like what I wanted and it was only acrylic french tips with multi colored tips. It has not even been one week and the paint is chipping off/ has already come off. They look awful. They also refused to give me a discount on the nails. If they had expressed that they were unable to do the design, I would have been completely fine with that. However, this was a really awful experience.

I had a powder manicure and pedicure about three weeks ago. Lisa P. Removed the polish, trimmed and buffed my nails and did a great job of callous removal from my feet. The sugar scrub on my lower legs was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. I will ask for her the next time I visit this nail spa.

Lena always takes the time to take care of my feet. I am on them all day long at work and they are pretty dry and rough. She managed to soften them and re-energize them. My hands always look great after a session.

My husband and I have been here twice for pedicures. We love the cleanliness. They bring our new tools and open them in front of you. They take their time and make sure you are completely satisfied. The stone massages are the way to go. I would recommend to anyone interested in a great, relaxing pedicure.

Beautiful salon with plenty of seats... Even on a busy weekend. My tech did a great job on my pedi but my Mani wasnt quite perfect.

This was the first and last time I will visit this salon. Very poor experience. I went in with a group of people for a mani & pedi. After I chose the color I wanted I was told that the color was only available in a gel so there would be an up charge for gel. When I got back to get the pedi I was given a pamphlet with different packages & prices to choose from. I chose the basic package but come to find out afterwards that I was charged for a mid level package and did not get any of the services in the package I was charged for. When I went to get the manicure done the girl did nothing other then buff out file my nails, no cuticle treatment, no hand soaking or massage as listed in the pamphlet. I did not get any nails put on, only the gel polish. When I was finished and went to pay it seemed odd that the bill was so high. I requested an itemized receipt but was not provided with one. When I questioned about what I was charged for I was given a run around about the additional up charges for the color and that because I got gel I was not given the standard manicure even though it cost more for that service. The girl at the front desk was starting to get an attitude because I kept on questioning the high charges. The pricing pamphlet is very deceiving and misleading. The other people in our party also had issues with the service they received. The acrilic nails that were just put on looked like they were on for some time and needed to be filled and they were also charged for services that they did not get. I would not reccomend anyone to go to this salon.

Ive been getting my nails done at Moda for 2 years now and they are so much better than the other salons nearby. The dipped nails they do hold up so well and I usually only have to get them redone because theyve grown out and not because theyve broken. They are wonderful!!

Mods is exceptionally clean and they are careful with client seating during Covid. Barriers are also installed between staff and clients (in addition to required masks). This is a lovely salon and I respect the way they handle services during this time. I’ve had dip manicures, pedicures and waxing done here. I won’t go anywhere else!

The pedicure was a special treat after our move and my legs were jelly after the girl was done working on me..such a great service! Everyone was professional but friendly and you could tell they knew their return clients by the fact they spoke to them in a friendly manner and actually remembered the conversations they had with you

Since moving to Knoxville 2 years ago I have yet to have a bad experience from any of the many fabulous nail technicians there. Their recently remodeled space is very clean and beautiful- highly recommend.

The new polish on two of my nails had cracked after only being on for a week. They took off the polish on all my nails & redid them !! NO CHARGE!! Isnt that wonderful of them!! Moda Nais is THE BEST nail salon!!

I cannot begin to express how amazing Moda is! I had gone to another nail salon and walked out with botched nails and in tears. Words cant even describe how bad they were... I found Moda online and went in. Everyone was so kind! Vanessa brought me back as soon as I picked my colors, and within 30 minutes she had turned my disaster nails into something completely new and beautiful! Thank you so much, Vanessa! I have been to this nail salon 3 times and there’s been a problem every time I’ve went. The salon is clean, they do use COVID procedures properly. Staff is nice and do a great job. However, their color selection for dip powder is not what you get when you sit down to get your nails done. You pick a neutral color, you get pink. I have had an allergic reaction to the chemicals in their dip powder the first 2 times I went. The 3rd time I told two people when I got there about my reaction and even asked if there was something they could do to protect my hands from an allergic reaction. I was told YES. There wasn’t one precaution taken to protect my hands. Very disappointed as I really like the salon and the staff. I’ll be going to a salon that offers Kiara Sky products so my hands aren’t covered in harsh chemicals that cause me to lose sleep from itching so bad.

I am a retired nail professional & was told by a friend to go here. The day I came here I dealt with the manager. I made notice of his tag because he was being very rude. I asked for a fill in with specific products. I explained that I knew what I wanted & didn’t care about the price. Instead, the manager kept rudely saying I couldn’t get what I wanted. I finally gave up and asked for gel polish over fill in. He then said that is going to cost more. I had to once again say that price is not an issue. I know what I want. I was very reluctant at this point because of his attitude toward me and his judgment with prices. When he said follow him & he squeezed through a small area between the nail tables, I decided that was just total disrespect. I walk with a cane and it is a struggle to do anything. For him to treat me like he really didn’t want my business is an issue for the nail salon. The owner should find out how some of the customers are being treated. I went to another nail salon & they did exactly what I asked with no problems. They were friendly & I intend to spread the word about Luxury Nails in Turkey Creek. Do not go to Moda. They are rude & very unprofessional.

Tina did an amazing job on my nails and was very patient! Not only did the dip turn out amazing but she also added a flower on each of my ring fingers. The first flowers messed up but she was nice enough to cut another out and try again. She took her time and made sure everything was taken care of. They turned out so beautiful, definitely will be requesting her again!

I’ve been going to Moda for a few years now every 3 weeks. I have never had any issues and they greet me like family when I walk in. The most professional, polite, friendly nail salon in Knoxville. Since I’ve gone here, most of my friends and my mother go here now too. I always get dip on my nails and their pedicures are amazing too. I’ve read some reviews on here, I have a hard time believing the validity of any of the negative ones. Anytime I’ve seen someone come in to get a nail repaired or fixed, I’ve seen there act swiftly to fix it. If the salon is busy, that’s because they have a lot regular clients. They’re doing their best and patience is something you need to have if you go anywhere.

I brought my 3 y/o here for her first pedicure and it was a wonderful experience. My daughter felt so special in her little princess chair. We will definitely return again. The salon is very clean. Staff were all super friendly.

This place looks so nice! Has all the great qualities to be a top nail salon but there have been some unpleasant experiences since I first started going. They over charge you and don’t communicate at all when it comes to upcharging. They also practically force you into gel/dip and then don’t speak another word till it’s time to pay. So not very friendly, but they do a good job.

My first 2 experiences at this nail salon were incredible. On my 3rd visit, I had a horrible experience. The young man taking my gel off, burned my finger with a drill (no apology) and continued to use it. I cut the appointment short and left without even getting polish. My daughter was with me, and her experience was incredible (with Trish).

The lady next to me was offered a soak off, while the nail tech said nothing to me and pried off my dip nails with clippers and a fake nail. It ripped my natural nails in the process. Will never be back.

Ive tried several salons around town and was never truly satisfied. Ive been going to Moda for over a year now and have never had any issues. It is busy but to me that tells you right there they are one of the best! Ive never had to wait too long and if they are too busy they will let you know up front. Vivian is great! Friendly and clean environment.

The new salon is beautiful. They have increased Each of their services by $5.00. If they had invested in autoclave stocks STERILIZE instead of continuing to use UVBoxes to SANITIZE it would carry a much safer value. The beauty, however, does not replace the consumers desire to have CLEANLINESS.

I love my nails its been a month the dip on my nails

Normally I love this salon, but the last three times they’ve way over filed my nails with the drill when taking the dip off! I used to have such healthy nails but now they’re super tender and thin.

Everyone was so nice!! i’ve had hundreds of pedicures and this might have been my favorite one EVER. nothing special, they just did a great job and took pride in their work. also, my niece accidentally hit my foot on the way out the door and they fixed it without showing any signs of complaining. i really appreciated that. this is definitely my new favorite nail salon 😍

I treated my wife to a Pedi. This was here first experience. Really enjoyed this location. Location doesnt have that overwhelming smell of thick nail polish.

I was quickly taken care of and given a gel manicure and an eyebrow wax. The girl who did my nails was meticulous and a week later, the polish has lasted very well. The only problem was I told the lady who waxed my eyebrows to leave them thick, and she made them MUCH thinner. So just be firm if you like a more natural look to your brows. Its still a great place and Id recommend it to anyone looking for a variety of spa and nail treatments.
