This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a car rental agency. I will never rent with Hertz again. I reserved a car well in advance. I saw reviews and got nervous, so I went in 4 days before I was supposed to pick up my rental to ensure that I will get the car I needed. I was told that there would be no issues, they have my reservation on file, Im good to go. 4 days later I go to pickup my rental and they do no have a car for me. They said there was a glitch and didnt see my reservation. I was told that had he seen my rental he would have looked for a car for me or held a car for me, but also said if I had come one hour sooner I would have a free upgrade. I arrived 30 mins earlier than my scheduled pick up time. Youre saying you had a car you could give me, but decided to rent it to someone else. The guys working here are numb to customers, they really dont care about customer service. There is zero empathy and zero concerns for customers. They seem to get these complaints a lot. They give lots of excuses and no real solutions to the issues. I can continue and go in about what else I did not like, but theres no sense in it. Please rent elsewhere. I will pay more and stick to enterprise. I got lured in by the lower rate at hertz, but I will not make that mistake again.

This location allowed my daughter to reserve a car online. When she got there to pick up the car, they refused to let her pay with her VISA debit card. They said she must have a MAJOR CREDIT CARD. That left her stranded in Florida and forced her to pay for 3 more nights hotel stay and to fly her entire family back to SC. I have rented many cars over the last 30 years, and I have always used a Visa debit card. I guess thatbis the difference between ENTERPRISE and HERTZ. DEFINITELY will never patronize Hertz, and I advise anyone else to stay away.

This was hands down my worst car rental experience. Took over an hour to pick up a vehicle that I had reserved online. There was only one employee working, he was doing the reservations and cleaning/inspecting incoming and outgoing vehicles. I felt really bad for the employee but this is a sign of bad management at the very least. Also they take debit cards for payment on their website but once in store you must use an actual credit card. SoI was told my debit card would be refunded in 7-10 days as I’d paid in advance. Then those same charges plus a $200 deposit were then placed on my credit card. Now luckily this was my in travel budget. Otherwise I’d be out money through my bank and credit card during a vacation. Just a fair warning for the next person. I would rent elsewhere. Oh before I forget lol the car was on E when I got it, had a low tire (warning from the vehicle was on) and the tabs were expired. Smh. And there is no drop off key box….so if you have a early flight etc…again go elsewhere.

DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE. I was in need of a one way rental for a emergency and when I arrive after taking a 30 minute Uber to get my “reserved vehicle” I’m told they don’t have any cars for a one way rental… I sat on the couch trying to figure out my personal situation and over heard the gentleman call about 9 customers telling them they don’t have cars… what’s your purpose of existence?? Waste people’s time and money??

Service here is very bad, I booked a car a month ago and when I showed up they said its not available, and when I asked why didnt you updated me, they said we dont have a phone, while is was on the phone with his manager. Never book a service here, hertz is usually good with there reservations and very disappointed with the service I had to try to cancel everything and book a bus to where I needed to go. If I where hertz I would take this branch out and so they dont get a bad name because it the biggest waste of time.

There were two black guys apparently Haitians. These two guys show clearly they dont care about the place. Their customer service is poor, rude, careless, unprofessional. When your customers walk into the building, you need to learn to ask how you can help them instead of being on your phone. I suggest you guys find something else to do if your heart is not in what youre doing. You are destroying the owners business if you show no appreciation to your customers.

Poor customer service, disappointing for a Hertz location. We rent from Hertz often and the treatment we received was beyond poor. My husband made a smart remark after the agent had an attitude from the time we walked in, he said we were disrespecting him after I asked him how we were disrespecting him, he said I was shouting at him, he refused to give his supervisor’s name, he said he would decline the reservation and make sure we never rented from Hertz again. After I stood there asking him to give me documentation that he was declining the reservation he told me to leave his establishment and then called the police and reported we were trespassing.Unbelievable experience!

Worst possible service in the word. Maybe a reservation more than a week in advance. Get to my date and time of reservation they dont have the vehicle I reseverd and was being made to take a smaller vehicle at the same rate like the employee Mark was doin me a favor. Never choosing Hertz again and customer service is even worst had me waiting more than 30 minutes to tell to go to the airport and pay more because they cant change prices.

I reserved a vehicle with Leslie their agent in the office, and came to pick it up 20 minutes later and was told the car was rented to somebody else and they tried to bait and switch me into a large cargo van for a lot more money... If there was no stars this is what this company /staff would get. Rented a pickup truck to find out that when I arrived, they didn’t have it and wanted to give me a Cargo Van,YES A CARGO VAN. What am I suppose to do with a big white cargo van. Long story short I was out of a rental in Kissimmee and needed to get to Palm Bay.I was lucky that budget/Avis that was 5 minutes away had a cxlalation and they were able to accommodate me.They also was refusing to rent a car to another couple who had prepaid for the car and because she didn’t have a chip on her card they were denying her the rental.

Went here because I had to take my car to a nearby body shop for insurance this was the location that was closest. When I entered nobody was inside, Inhad to wait a minute since it seemed they came from outside but did not bother me. The service was good and did awnser my questions. Since I was going through insurance I really didnt care what car I got but I didnt get to choose, but I wont complain since I got a 2018 Dodge Challenger R/T. The only thing is the driver seat was dirty but its from all the people before me driving it that dont care. Im liking it so far and like how somebody picked me up and dropped me off at the location.This review can change since i still need to drop this car off. Until than it will remain like this.

Not a good experience!Had a reservation for 11 am.They had no cars and the employee was very condescending.Not very personable, specially for a job with the public.No explanations, no let me see what I can do or Im sorry for the inconvenience.No hand sanitizer for clients, employee not wearing mask correctly, his nose was out all the time.Floors were dirty and the place looked unkept.Icing on the cake the car we got was parked next to us since we got there.... Almost 2 hours later!We notice them driving it to the back and 10 - 15 minutes later gave it to us.Will not recommend to anyone.

VERY BAD customer service, 2 guys are working are so rude and disrespectful. I booked online I called ahead if the car was ready to pick up and they said it was, when I got there I was told that they don’t have any cars available. What a bad service. They were on the phone all the time while I was waiting to ask more information about my reservation.

The worst company and service ever. How do they take payments for your rental but yet not have your car at the day of travel. They washed their hands saying it was Hotwire fault because they were out of stock for over a month. I ended up loosing my vacation, my hotel reservation and my time off. I will never do business with Herts or Hotwire ever again. At the end nobody was able to take blame or offer us a solution for the inconvenience.

State Farm set me up with a rental here. As I was getting into the car the door handle falls off and I tell the agent Melvin and he says sorry it’s all I have right now and stick the door handle into the glove compartment. Been trying to call around to other hertz in the area to trade it out and nobody seems to care since it’s a trade and not a sale for them poor customer service. Only person who tried was Daniel the manager at the hertz by the JW Marriott but still no resolution.

Disappointed, I confirmed a car when I go to look for it, I was the second person who paid for an uber to pick up a car and they did not have it. I had to return like the other person too, without a car. dont trust online that they have cars, they dont really update the inventory

The website allows you to make reservations even when cars are not available. We drove far to get to the company expecting a car to be available since a reservation was confirmed. The worker informed us that many people with reservations left without cars.

I know the area in the plaza very well. But as for my review I would only give it 2 Stars because there is literally no parking lot and I dont know where they hide all of their rentals I go with Enterprise personally Ive never had a problem with them and they always upgrade me. But sometimes they dont keep the windshields as clean as I would like as well as the in and the outside of the actual car, SUV, or truck. But they are definitely quick to get you in and out of enterprise on Orange Blossom Trail. Just saying

I was charged $ 215.00 on my debit card even though my insurance, State Farm was supposed to pay for it, And I was only going to be charged about five dollars a day. I had the car for four days. I need to have a major refunds. Also Nina the assistant office manager promised to give me a free upgrades. So there’s no need to charge me extra for a full car! I expect a call back ASAP thank you

I have never had anything but pleasant interactions with this location. In fact, I have rented here so much that I am on a first name basis with many of these competent employees. The best part is that we are in and out of here on both the pick-up and return. We even got a free upgrade because they had too much inventory on one occasion. Love this store!

My car was in the body shop for repairs and insurance company gets a deal from Hertz. They were suppose to give me a mid size SUV, they gave me a Kia Sportage, not a mid size SUV at all. Car is uncomfortable. Seats are like rocks. Horrible car. Hertz gives you a dirty car that has not been cleaned. Seems as though a quick wipe down and spray chemicals in the car that give you a headache. The windshield wipers on the vehicle are no good and needs to be replaced. They only smear the window in the rain so you cant even see. Very risky to drive a car when you cant see out the window. I would not recommend going here, save your self time and frustration and ho to Enterprise.

Worst experience with a car rental company ever! I rented a Ford Focus for one day because they advertised a special for $25. The car was filthy, it had a black hand print on the interior hood, cigarette burns in the back seat, numerous dents all over the car. It also jerked whenever the car shifted from 1st to 2nd gear. I called an hour after renting the vehicle and explained my concerns with the car. I was told by Nina that she was aware of the interior damage, not to worry about the shifting, thats just the way the car is. She stated if I wanted a different vehicle I could pay for an upgraded car. I returned the car the next day and David inspects the car twice and informs me I am responsible for a 300 smoking fee. I explained to David that the car had cigarette burns and I reported that to Nina the day before. Nina came out a 3rd time with David to inspect the interior. She shouldnt be in management, she came back in the office and as I reminded her of our phone conversation and the fact that there was no inspection of the interior only the exterior of the car she threw her hands up in the air and walked to the back employee room like a coward. David then stated that the smoking fee would only be $200. I shouldnt have to pay anything as I didnt smoke in it at all. I called the Corporate Hertz and they agreed to only take $100 off as only the manager can refund the full amount. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. This is completely wrong. The agents here fraudulent and deceptive. Beware of this place. Ill pay the extra money for Enterprise or Thrifty before I ever rent from Hertz again.

Scam artists!!! David thinks he can upscale the system, yet he is currently under investigation. Let’s see if he can outdo the court system. Hertz has had multiple complaints regarding fraudulent charges and false allegations. Read the news! Multiple employees being arrested at hertz for false allegations regarding car theft as well as fraud. Our contract was terminated the day the vehicle was impounded. Hertz notified the police they would retrieve the vehicle two days after. Police have been attempting to call hertz multiple times for two weeks to pick up the vehicle. Yet David had the nerve to report the car as stolen. Stolen, yet they abandoned their own vehicle within a police impound... Right. Once a contract is terminated, customers are not liable for “days”. David had the nerve to add $1000 worth of surcharges when they neglected their vehicle at their own will. We should only have been responsible for the impound costs which the insurance company would partially cover. It’s almost humorous if they even believe their little scam ring will work. Customers beware of this location!!!

Went to rent a car here they had 4 computers with card readers have 6 different credit cards swiped all of them it couldnt read any of them they said they didn’t have chip readers its and said they could not just type in the card information in manually its 2019 any place that requires a credit card should have a chip reader or at least card swiper that worksthe people who work here barely speak English would not recommended this place... went down the street and rented a car off enterprise without any problems

List pick up at Amtrak station, but they only pick up actual Amtrak passengers. My approved reservation was at their closing time on Saturday, so I had to wait till Monday to get my car. They were completely unapologetic about the issue.

Stay away! Bait and switch (on Vacation) I went in to order a subcompact car for four days and was told no more subcompact cars available, so the right thing to do is to upgrade me to a compact car.This location failed to honor this, so I canceled the deal and I went on line to Orbitz and paid 1/3 of what Hertz wanted to charge me.Im also AAA member and I felt like I was treated like a person who doesnt have AAA benefits.

Though my experience at this Hertz was less than successful, the staff was very pleasant. If you have an insurance claim, along with a deposit quote, expect to pay full cash deposit, which will be returned when you return the vehicle. Nina and David tried their best to help me; thank you! STAY AWAY!! This is the most unprofessional, unreliable and poor at everything company I have ever been. My insurance company made a reservation days prior the pick up when I got there not only the office was dirty as hell but I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to even say How can I help you but they told me that they only had one car available I was likeWhat you mean, you should have had an available car for me anyways because I had a reservation Anyways they gave me the most dirty, filthy and crapy car they have. That car left me stranded twice, didnt want to turn on and I had to call for help. I called the office and they asked me to call roadside assistance because they do not handle that. I called roadside assistance and they have me on the phone for more than half hour passing my call from people to people. Still waiting for someone to help.

Horrible place:I am not a person to leave a bad review but I had to do that people dont experience the hassle I did when getting a car from this place. They claim no one is in charge so if you have an issue you just have to forget it. They take money from you outside what was agreed on and cant explain why other then its the computers fault. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. My experience ended up by making a police report on this location.

I was in a car accident and while my vehicle was being repaired I needed a rental (provided through the at faults insurance). My job is delivery driving, and I use my own vehicle for it. Imagine my dismay when the only place their insurance will pay for my rental is this specific location as the auto repair shop is nearby. I let the phone ring for almost half an hour before hanging up and calling right back, letting it ring another 10 minutes before an employee must have gotten annoyed enough and answered the phone. After asking what I needed, they proceeded to tell me they were currently with a customer (and you answered the phone? theres nobody else to do that???) and would call me back promptly. Well, now Ive missed work because theyve taken their time and havent gotten back to me.

This place was terrible. Our car was being repaired after an accident, we desperately needed a car, the insurance company sent us here. The car they gave us smelled like stinky gym socks, the floor wasnt vacuumed and there was crusty food dried onto the steering wheel and all over the dash. We mentioned to the guy that it smelled but he didnt seem to care and since we were desperate we took the car. FIVE DAYS after returning the car we were charged an additional $150 for returning the car with dog hair and smelling like a dog relieved itself inside. THERE WAS NEVER A DOG INSIDE THIS CAR WHILE IT WAS IN OUR POSSESSION and despite the fact that the car smelled and was filthy when we got it, they refused to return our money. The employee we spoke with laughed at the situation and refused to let us speak with his manager. I have filed a complaint with corporate and the the better business bureau.

Hello!I am taking some time to make you aware of certain employee that have changed completely my perspective of this company. Unfortunately not in a positive way. My husband was in a car accident recently and we were looking to rent a car for a week and most likely longer depending on how long it would take to get his car fixed. Our first option was Hertz. We made the reservation online for 12pm, as it gave us that option, not knowing that that was the closing hour in a Sathurday for that location. We arrived there at 11:55 and we had to ask the lady to let us in because she was already closing the door. Since the moment we stepped inside we started to notice what a mistake it was and definitely a waste of time. This lady from spanish origin like myself (that refused to provide her name after being asked multiple times.) treated us like our business with the company wasnt valued, she was in an obvious rush to get us out and had not intention of explaining anything and getting annoyed every time we had a question with the excuse that the system was gonna shut down. She gave us a total that was way higher than our expectations due to the estimate we got in our reservation. When I asked her about it she gave me a vague and rush explanation and continue to rush me to swipe my card. We swiped our card, and it came declined. She shamelessly said Your card is declined. We couldnt understand why but we asked her to reduce our renting time to one week. She made a face making her annoyance obvious. At this point I was feeling uncomfortable and unhappy and undeserving of the service we were getting. She came around the counter and swipe our card for us without giving us a total until I asked she said wait with a nasty attitude. Again, our total was still high for our expectation, when I asked her nicely to explain it she said I already explained it to you. I told her that I was her customer and her job was to explain it to me as many times as it would take for me to understand. She ignored me and proceeded to say our card was declined (I cant remember how many times she repeated this phrase but had previously refused to explain the companys rates and charges.). I told my husband it was time for us to go and try a different company because I didnt feel like being humiliated anymore. When I asked for her name she refused saying she didnt have to give me anything. A coworker (dark skin and bald) also refused to give me her name when asked stating he didnt wanna get involved. I was asked to leave the location like a stray dog and had the door closed on my face not before she repeated one more time its not my fault that you have no money with the biggest wicked smile on her face. I have NEVER in my life been treated this way. I am a very educated person. I had my baby in my arms when I was asked to leave. I cried and yes it ruined part of our day that was supposed to be special due that it was my husbands birthday. We went to Hertz looking for comfort in a vehicle that we needed after my husbands accident for him to get to work. And we left with empty hands and with such humiliation in our backs. I have never been that person to take the time to make a complain because I understand that we all have bad days. But this person doesnt merit the chance to get away with this. I went online and looked at the Google reviews on this specific location and negatives arent to be suprising with this kind of people the company has employed to represent it. I, personally wont ever step foot again in that location to be a victim of such horrible customer service ever again. But would like to make the company aware of the poor service not only me but many of the customer has been receiving. Which in our case resulted in us going to Enterprise that same day and had the total opposite of service. We had even extended our contract for a whole month with them. Thank you for your time.

DONT GO HERE. Was personally humiliated and they were rude to me and my mom that called in to make a reservation for me when they denied my debit card when they assured me that it would go through. Nina actually skipped over me and when I said, I was first, she threatened to call the cops on me and then did so again after I left the store. When I told her to call and I would tell the truth, She cussed me out and flip me off.I will never use Hertz again and will personally make sure that all the staff except the manager is fired and new workers actually know how to talk to someone. Whoever is in charge of this location needs to hire better staff.I almost cancelled my trip but last minute I called to pick up at another location because I wasnt going to let these people ruin something I took so long to plan for.Kevin Rudener or Kevin Roodner and also another Hispanic male were very very rude, I believe they thought I didnt understand Spanish but they said some awful hateful prejudice slurs about me because of my orientation, after I had sat in the lobby for about 15 minutes while they ate and drank coffee. And I confronted and let them know I understood what they said and told us to go to h* in Spanish. Ive never been so disrespected in my life and almost had my trip ruined.I aslo took video of this incident and I plan to make a complaint with the corporate office

This is the worst and lazy stupid car rental place I have ever be, they slow, they dont know what they are doing, they never have a full car seize and the car they gave me smells smoke, all I can a say is for them to close that center or have new workers.
