We entered and the gentleman at the counter asked “How can I help you?”, I proceeded to tell him I needed to add my father as a driver and he is already on the reservation. He then walks outside and starts matching keys with cars without communicating that he couldn’t assist.When he entered again I asked him for my paperwork if he is not going to help me. The professional lady working with him asked him what I needed and after finishing with her customer, assisted me in a polite and professional manner. She greeted me warmly and clearly knows how to provide better customer service.Communication is key in customer service and my initial experience is lacking.
Mary was really nice. When we arrived to pickup the vehicle, it was not available, Mary provided a temporary one until the next day. Her attention was awesome.
Was given a dirty vehicle and then the representative who gave me the car argued that it wasnt dirty. It had sand, crumbs and dust as well as sticky spills on the door handles.Then I was told I would have to pay more for another vehicle.During COVID especially, measures should be taken to ensure cars are truly disinfected.I will be requesting a refund and will not return to budget due to this awful experience. I am still waiting to receive my vehicle now and needed to be on the road at 0900.
I cant say enough positive about this place. The communication was clear, they called a couple hours ahead to make sure I still needed my car so they wouldnt give it away, it was a great vehicle that was bigger than I expected, the price was absolutely incredible, and the staff very nice. The only issue is that its very hard to find, in the very back of Old Town. Zero wait. Hint to travelers: sometimes its cheaper to get a car from a place like this than at the airport, which tacks on airport charges each day. Check out the prices. Take an Uber here instead.

Car was junk - bald tires, shook when driving on the highway, radio picked up 3 stations when driving through Orlando. Of course we had no time to discuss as we had plans after pickup and then drop off at airport.
Very easy going. Only bad thing was the wait. Reservation was for 10am and I didnt get the car until 2:30pm because cars were Not returned on time by previous people who were renting the cars.
Paid in advance for vehicle, arrived 2hr after and vehicle was still not available, after a while I was given one in another location but vehicle was obviously not cleaned and stained all over.
I just want to add to that budget car review my mothers elderly sick women and they took advantage of her made her sign paperwork to pay twice as much for the vehicle that then was d through the travel agent and what was on the contract she signed in initials every place to total 2 it was double what was on itinerary. Ive never ever ever have experienced anything like that for my mom or myself through budget this was atrocious Should be felony unconcerned it was depletable. But Im gonna pray for the people and I will be calling them for some resolution to 2nd I get back in Boston I have the time

I pre paid for a 7 pass mini van and got a 5 pass SUV. I paid over $400 and could not use the SUV so I returned the car after one day and was charged the full amount. DONT PRE PAY FOR A CAR YOU WONT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Very easy to check in and get your car. Like that they take pictures of your car and make a record if there is anything wrong on your car before you leave with the car.
First and LAST time renting from AVIS! They have no cars and what they do have is not clean nor sanitized. Gas was not full but they wanted me to fill it up when i returned... Just not a company I choose to deal with again.
I will never rent a car from avis. I got stranded in west virginia going from New York to florida. Avis never helped me financially to get me in a hotel for the night nor did they get a vehicle to me. I had my family and 2 pets and 5 luggage, bags, 2 cages, and other things out of the van I had to take out while van was towed because their vehicles are priority. We were ubered back north for an hour to the airport where avis had my replacement after waiting 7 hours. Shame on their service. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone . Cheap dont pay. They are horrible. They will leave you in the boondocks to fend for yourself!
Zero-star customer service. On 1/6/20, I booked a rental for this Kissimmee location to pick up 2/6. 90 minutes before the pickup time I was notified that there was no car, but they hoped to have one on 2/7. The next day. No apology, no attempt to work to solve the problem, just a you wont be charged for the rental, as if that was in question somehow.This literally stranded me where I was, in the lobby of the hotel I had checked out of following a work conference, an hour and a half away from the city I needed to be in.When I called the 800#, they were apologetic, but they could only explain that the location had overbooked the rentals.So heres a tip, Budget. If you overbook your cars, you DONT pull the rental from the person who booked a MONTH ago. Maybe you tell the guy who just walked in the door that you have nothing for them. I have never even heard of something like this with a car rental; airlines yes, cars no.Fortunately I was able to get in touch with Enterprise, who had a car at the hotel for me within the hour, albeit for more money than I was going to pay Budget. But its worth every penny to not be stranded. Lesson learned, and I cant even imagine what would re-establish any trust Budget again.

Great customer service. We rented a 26 truck one way with a trailer and some supplies. The agents were courteous, helpful and very nice!
Way too expensive to book in store for one-way truck rentals to move to another state. Wanted to charge $798 + deposit and you still have your gas to factor in also. Went home and booked online with same company and got it for $405 plus deposit and of course your gas but was half the price for the truck rental itself.

I wish I could select 0 Stars! After this last weekend all I can say is I WILL NEVER USE BUDGET AGAIN!!!! We reserved a car for my husband to go to his uncles funeral a week in advance. We had a reservation for an 8AM pickup in Flordia, when we arrived at 8 we were told they didnt have a car for us and wouldnt until 2PM! NO CALL TO LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME NOTHING!!! Seeing how this was not going to work for us because the rest of our car was heading back to Indiana and we couldnt leave until he got a car we started looking at other options and were finally able to find a car available last minute from Hertz, thanks for saving the day! Although we did have to pay 2.5 times more since it was last minute, but great quotes dont do you any good when you dont have a car available when you reserved it for. Horrible experience, Horrible Customer Service, Horrible Business Practices. NEVER AGAIN!
Extremely disappointed and would never suggest anybody to rent from here. I hope other budgets are better staffed with more appropriate customer service.I called this morning and was forwarded to the “national” line due to the local office not answering (not a big deal, I’m sure they were busy first thing in morning). THe National chain was extremely polite and added the extra day and additional cost to my rental. She stated she would make it for noon. When I called back to the local office one hour later to see if I could receive my car early they expressed of course no problem.When I arrived they informed me I couldn’t get my car until 12pm unless I wanted to return it at 1030 am (it was1030 when I was picking up) My flight for the return isn’t until 3pm. Otherwise they’d charge me an entire extra day. When I asked why they didn’t inform me this over the phone, their local representative became extremely argumentative, informing me I never asked him about those details therefore he shouldn’t have to tell me those things. He also told me I never called him this morning - which I explained I spoke to the National chain due to them not answering at the local office and it forwarding me to that chain.The representative continuously argued with me. Only to later inform me that they couldn’t use my debit card to hold the 200$ deposit.Yes that was in the fine print, and it is on me for not reading that - but again they absolutely could have given me more of a heads up.The representative never apologized, only walked away from me and had another representative step in without introduction or anything.I will never rent from a budget again - and I will definitely make sure everybody I know stays away from them.

They double-charged me at one point and then removed it a couple days later. When I called up the woman to ask her about it she was very rude and kept me on hold for long periods of time. When I finally called back, she picked up the phone and hung up immediately and then for three hours later I couldnt get through because they left it go through voicemail. Another occasion oh, I went to rent a budget and they told me that they were fully booked and had no trucks available. There was in fact 7 trucks in the parking lot and a friend of mine pulled up from a different phone number and was able to rent a truck
I wish I could give zero stars. Reserved a truck a week in advance with confirmation. My wife took a bus into town and then caught a taxi to the pickup location. They said they didnt have the truck there and that she would have to travel over 30 minutes away to pick up at her expense. Then when she got there, they didnt have the truck either and knew nothing of her arrival. 4 hours later my wife got a truck that was pretty beaten. The cost of basic insurance was literally more than the cost of a 3 day rental and she was forced to add it on at the counter which more than doubled the price. They also forced her to return by her original pickup time even though they took an extra 4 hours to find a truck. Threatened her with an 80 dollar extra day fee even if she was an hour late. Totally BS. U-Haul has my business for life, Budget is the absolute worst.
Only use this location for advanced reservations. No local parking allowed, only drop off. No local cars, all brought from the airport. No local service for flat tire, please call the airport rental.

Had a bad time with the car. It kept stalling. I called and reported it. Had bad cell service. Turned car in 24 hours early. The employee didnt seemed to concerned. Had to cur trip shot by 3 days due to car trouble. Got two Trooper escorts for going to slow. Thirty mph under limit.
I am very disappointed. I rented a car last Saturday, July, 15,2017. After hours I decided return the car because I found the insurance very expensive. Imagine, the rent was $617,00 and the insurance costed $ 900,00. Is true. They received the car, and said me that my refund will be did in 3 days. Lie. Until my bank not was notified about this. I backed that and I was attended by a man that limited the said the same . Here, we cannot resolve anything. How is? Now, I just one way, go to the Police and open a process for I have my money back. Worse service..

Car rates in Orlando area are not what I expected. After searching all car rental places and prices I needed a tranquilizer. More for a week than my car payment is a month. All are greedy it seems.
Horrible service, lack of customer service, they charged $78 per day in a small car.
Its a scam. They will tell you that in Florida, its MANDATORY to buy supplemental liability insurance. They will make you go through all the hoops if you try to remove it after finding out its not mandatory. Dont ever rent from Budget.

Its all a hoax, the insurance charge costs more than the rent of the car 580.00 plus 720.00 insurance, tolles and tax for a minivan. And they do not reimburse the money or they force you to complete the transaction and take the car with you. Im not coming back!
