I lived in one of their rental properties and they were the best company Ive ever dealt with. Very honest, compassionate, respectful, and caring. Theyre not just out to get your money they take care of you and find what fits you and your family. I only was a renter but if I was to ever buy a home I would definitely start here.

First I want to start off with John wheeler. He’s a great guy and makes sure to stay on things that you ask of him. At first I was uneasy about switching management companies for my rental, but Mr. wheeler made the transition great. They I needed some work done with plumbing and stuff and they sent out John willoughby. I’m so used to not having my stuff fixed on the first try that I was surprised John was finished so soon. He did a wonderful job, cleaned up after himself, and is very knowledgeable. You can tell his main priority is making sure the client is happy. Then last but not least I wanted to s/o to Gary too. He spent a lot of time helping me in my situation and he has so much patience. I would definitely recommend key realty group. They care about their tenants and owners. Not one request I have put in was ignored. Good job key realty your team work makes the dream work!

Key reality group is amazing they were able to get me approved for a new home with not so great rental history. They have also made sure that when ever I put in a maintenance order it is taken care of expeditiously. Gary was so easy to work with and very patient.

Key Realty, and specifically Matt and Nicole have always been very responsive and helpful in all of our communications. Ive had zero complaints about the companys management activities with regard to my property, and would easily consider them for any future investment properties in the area.

I have worked with John and his team for over a year now. They are efficient, very responsive, and care about both the relationship with the tenants and the property owner. They run their business in a very adaptable manner, which is what sets them above the rest in my opinion. I purchased three rental homes from John at Key Realty Group about 3 years ago and hope to purchase another this year. I live in the Bay Area, CA and rely on Key Realty group to manage my investments for me. They have never disappointed. The Key Realty team is extremely responsive, professional, and they are all great people in general.Every time a rental turns-over tenants or if maintenance is needed, Matt always sends me a summary of what is going on along with photos. Being a remote investor, I really appreciate the communication. You can expect consistent, accurate, clear, and timely communication from this Team which is very important to tenants and landlords alike to feel secure in/with their rental properties.It feels good knowing that this Team has your best interests in mind, and acts as an ambassador to your properties. I would to give a huge compliment for John and Mike who have gone over and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They have had to fix my tub and shower. Also due to the extreme weather my pipes froze and they came out immediately and rectified the situation. I commend them on this especially in this extreme cold weather. I bought a completely remodeled home from John Wheeler 7 months ago. John was responsive through the selling process, however, he failed to complete each of the agreed tasks prior to closing. To his credit, I was credited the value of the incomplete work at closing. Most of the work that was done on the home was done well, however some clear shortcuts were taken. Most notably, the shower in the master bath was inadequately supported and secured, such that the grout disintegrated and the shower pan cracked in half only 3 weeks after moving in. This created a $6000 repair job which was necessary in order to use the master shower. When I contacted John about the issue, he dismissed any responsibility and did not care about the outcome or his reputation in this. He continued to promise to have “his guys” come and give me an estimate to correct the problem, which he expected me to pay for completely, but no one came. Then he stopped responding to me. Not once did he take responsibility for selling a damaged product that he had wrapped in a shiny bow. He was dismissive and unprofessional. I would not recommend buying a remodeled home from him since there seems to be no accountability for the work that he has had done.

My mother in law was having a tough time finding an apartment so we decided to try looking for a rental to fit her needs. The staff at Key Realty was quick to respond to our inquiries and was able to show us rentals promptly. Nicole helped my mother in law every step of the way, was so nice and responded to our questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend Key Realty and my mother in law loves her new place. John without a doubt is a great buyer and seller agent. Not only did he save me money on my listing (which no other agent could match) but found my perfect house. We had multiple complications on buyers with financing and inspections and John was able to leverage and made sure my interests and my goals where first. When selling a home communication is sooooo important. He listened, informed and kept me in the loop the entire time. He listened to my needs and gave me sound advice but still allowed me to make decisions which because of him I was able to make informed and intelligent decisions. John was more worried about me then his own. That’s hard to find and completely recommend Key Realty to all family and friends.If you higher an agent that puts a sign in your yard you hired the wrong person.If you need a good agent, call John.

I am surprised these guys are still in business. I would never trust them. They are unprofessional and well known in Kansas City for stealing their owners HVAC and appliances and then reselling them. I also noticed that you personally filed a Chapter 7 Case Number 13-42909 and bailed out on paying any of your debtors. Wow. Ok so Im halfway through my lease. I made it a point to leave one at halfway and another at the end. A breath of fresh air. John and his team got me into a house I love, in a lovely neighborhood, being a single man who needed at least 2 bedrooms. Worked with me with my credit. Worked with me on my last minute disposal of my ex. Havent had a single issue. AC didnt work for a minute cause it wasnt charged, they came out as soon as conditions were right to fix it. Theyve worked with me through my mental disorders and so far restored my faith that there are good people out there. Working with me again as my lease may change again. Had a drain issue once, I think it got solved the next day. Not only did they give me a chance but they give me my space. They arent all up in my business its actually usually me venting lol. I have a massive anxiety issue, PTSD, and some other disabilities and every time I think something is the end of the world, they reassure me. All im really waiting to see is how the end of the lease plays out as the house had a few cosmetic miniscule issues when I moved in. I didnt really trust agencies before. So far theyve earned my trust, I actually dont at this time want to move next year. Pretty much just be a good tenant and they do the rest. Felt like they deserved a shout out. John is amazing. Gary makes it feel like youre talking to a family member, and Matt is 100% on maintenance.

I have been a client of Key Realty Group since 2014. I purchased my turnkey rental and it has been smooth sailing every since. Whenever there was a challenge with vacancies or repairs John Wheeler and his entire team were very through and efficient in taking care of things. I was in the process of putting my first out-of-state rental under contract with another management company when I became weary of their lack of communication, feedback, and response. I reached out to Key Realty based on a prior recommendation and couldn’t be more pleased. I got into contract with Key Realty 2 business days before the end of the month. In less than a week, Heather from Key Realty introduced herself to the tenant, worked tirelessly to get ahold of the aforementioned management group to initiate the transition, collected the rent, AND kept me updated throughout the process. It was “night and day!” I couldn’t even get the original management group to send me a contract in a week’s worth of time!Outlook: This initial interaction has definitely been amazing. It has me excited for what’s to come.

My family and I moved in a house managed by key realty 4 months ago and all we needed done were small things which were a screen needed on the kitchen window there is no storm door on the front entrance and we had no garage door opener the door bell stopped working and the guy just came today to fix everything and he went and bought some tape that looks like aluminum foil he put around the screen on the outside of the window and the inside it looks so ghetto and unprofessional and I still havent got the storm door he told me I needed to call the supervisor of maintenance and talk to him first why do I have to do that and we have been waiting all this time already and then we would have to pay extra to get the screen door put on thats not right Im just going to by the storm door myself and have someone I know put it on because it will probably be another 4 months before they get one so disappointed
