Pros: The apartment complex is nice and quiet. The apartment itself (renovated style) is nice. Not enough closet space or storage space but it will do. The complex amenities are nice as well. The floors are squeaky but it is an old building.Cons: PARKING! You literally have to get home before 6p or you will be parking on the street. Most of the street parking is ‘’no parking” so it’s hard to find street parking as well.I do have a few complaints: I’ve had issues with my dryer for over 2 weeks now. It gets fixed then messes up again. My A/C has went ‘out’ twice now. I’ve put a request in on the app for maintenance. It’s just frustrating I feel like it’s something every week. Trying to get in contact with the leasing office is a hassle. The phone just rings then goes to voicemail.Crystal was my leasing agent who helped me with my move in. She stayed on top of things including any questions or concerns I had. I’m not sure what happened but since she left it’s not been a great experience for me.

I emailed Infinity at Plaza West about apartment availability and received a response in less than 20 minutes! I was connected with Crystal and she continued to email me back immediately regarding all of my questions. She even took the time to send me video links and photos of 3 units she thought would fit my needs. I ended up deciding on one of the units in the same day and she created me a customer portal and took the unit off the market! I dont move in for another month, but the 10/10 customer service is a wonderful start!!

Moved from another state and had to find an apartment online. There were a few surprises when I arrived but okay.I have had multiple maintenance issues that have been fixed but dealing with leasing office is really frustrating. The keypad to my building broke 2 months ago now so there is no secure entry. Twice while i was home someone tried to enter my apartment but then walked away when they realized it was locked. Then last week a strange man walked into my apartment. So i told leasing office who confirmed no maintenence workers that day but she would follow up with me, never heard a word. Ive asked multiple times about the door and have gotten rude responses and there has been literally 0 progress. The location I love. I like my kitchen, pool area is very nice. I like how animal friendly the complex is. But the leasing office is dismissive and condescending every time i have to deal with them. Wouldnt recommend to a friend to live here.

I lived here for a year and I would say it’s pretty average. The location and staff were nice. However, there are serious plumbing issues in the building I lived in. My sink over flooded multiple times a week and the maintenance crew didn’t know how to fix it and didn’t really take it seriously. There were roaches unfortunately even though they have an exterminator come by regularly. Parking is quite sparse especially at night and parking on the street can be scary for girls that are alone. I still haven’t received any information about my refund for the security deposit I paid and it has been a year since I moved out.

My boyfriend and I are looking to move more middown/downtown, and after touring with Mariah through Infinity at Plaza West, we fell in love with the apartment and the area. Mariah was extremely professional and inviting throughout the experience, she made us feel welcome from the beginning. She worked with us patiently to determine exactly what we are looking for. We are not planning to move for another 4 months but they have really helpful policies that allow us to get in line for the apartment we want to hopefully ensure placement once the time comes. We were hoping to be proactive about the process and they helped facilitate exactly that. The apartments are beautifully maintained, the grounds are tidy, and the common areas are clean and welcoming. We cannot wait to call Infinity our home!

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!I lived in a 2 bedroom un-revnovated apartment and it was awful. For one.. we had ROACHES!Management switched half way through my lease and the new management wasnt any better. They never responded to my emails in regards to extending my lease due to COVID-19 and left me to move all the way back home 9 hours away because of this.Maintenance: Maintenance men are nice, but dont ever really fix the problem. Broke our lock on our door so it was loose and was never fixed.Plumbing: Our sink backed up and overflowed twice a day for the entire year. Management said they sent plumbers (while my roommate and I were at work) and the issue was fixed but then a few days later the overflowing got worse (which also smelled awful). When we called them they said that the plumbers never actually came and apologized and sent another plumber who also never fixed the issue. On top of the kitchen sink overflowing, half of the water coming out of the shower came out of the tub spout and thus water pressure was horrible (was told this couldnt be fixed) and our toilet had to be replaced within 1mo of living there. When they put the new toilet seat in, they put the toilet seat from the old toilet on it (which was way too small and didnt even screw in). Was told we would get compensation on our next months rent for all the awful plumbing issues but instead got plastic wine cups with candy and ignored phone calls. On top of that, the new management states we never put down a security deposit and now I am having to search through year and a half old documents to find proof of payment just to get that back.Hallways smell like sweaty people, communal washer and dryers are dirty and always smell like mold, and the back door to my building rarely worked.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Not worth the cheap rent. Location is good, but again not even worth it.

This complex is constantly being owned by different companies. A pet down payment is $300 BUT there is also a fee for $200 because “not all apartment complexes allow pets.” So $500 to have a pet in a somewhat decent apartment. If you are a first time renter with no want for pets and don’t have any, this is a good place to start. If you have pets or want any, I’d recommend looking at other options.

I did not end up renting here due to my experience touring. I made an appointment for a tour and showed up 5 minutes early to find nobody in the office and nobody answering the phones. I left and went to another tour and came back. When I returned, I received a tour from Briana and was told they ran out to do errands earlier because everyone cancelled due to snow; however we never cancelled. Briana was friendly until I asked a question that she appeared to not like. I was concerned about the unsecured parking lot and just questioned if there was a more secure option. My concern was my personal safety and the safety of my car being in the city, but Briana responded by asking why I was worried and told me to just be safe and lock my car. She seemed irritated by this question, which was a red flag to me, as every other complex I visited was understanding about the concern. Overall, the absence at my appointment time combined with Brianas attitude made me decide this complex was not the right place for me. The unit we saw on the tour was very nice and I cannot comment on what it is like to be a resident here, but the service we received as potential renters was enough to make me not call Infinity home.

RUN!I only wish I had taken the reviews seriously, because this place was the worst experience of my life!My heat broke constantly in the Winter, and the maintenance staff admitted to not knowing how to fix it, I was only partially compensated after saying I wanted out of the lease due to inhabitable living conditions. You are lied to by management stating the carpet is replaced with each new tenant. You will be forced to pay over 195 dollars or more if youre renting a 2 bedroom to steam clean the apartments when you move out, regardless of never wearing your shoes inside or not. The maintenance staff will dirty it up for you though because they always wear their shoes inside, and you will have them there constantly because nothing works.I could hear my neighbors having sex because the walls are paper thin, and I lived under a hardwood floor apartment who had a large dog living in it. The windows are old and thin, so again you will be freezing in the winter time, because your heat wont work.Parking is horrible. The spots are very narrow, and if you get home past 5pm during the week you will be walking a few blocks to your crappy apartment that you dont want to return to anyway. The kindness of management and the leasing consultant ends after your signature of their mile long lease. The manager is annoying and likes to hear herself talk and act 20 years younger than she is.Do yourself a favor and run so far from this place!!!!

They could not sign me for a six month lease, as they had reached their quota for short term leases running through 2018. I was so furious that they had wasted my time. While I stuck around for the tour, I was annoyed that they wouldnt honor what I had been told on the phone. And, the staff is pretty unclear with the fees they have hidden in their lease. It just felt like a shady thing to do — to include required fees in absolutely minuscule font on their application. All in all, this was a huge disappointment.

I did not have a great experience at this apartment complex. I was scheduled to move in in the middle of June. They had plenty of time to prepare. When I arrived, there was many maintenance issues. No air conditioning (it was also a scorching 97F sunny summer day), and the google fiber jack was missing so I did not have Wi-Fi for my first week and a half or so. They told me they would schedule a google fiber technician for the next day or 2, and on the 3rd day I called and asked, they had forgotten and it ended up being over a week. With all the data I had used it cost me over $100 out of my pocket in extra phone bills, which they did not compensate me for. On the day I arrived, the lady showing me my apartment commented that the floors were schedule to be replaced, they never were, and when I called in late November about it I received no response until January 8th. They called while I was on vacation, then closed out the maintenance request without performing the task, and to this day (3/11/2019) I still do not have my new flooring that was promised. There are a plethora of issues with the units that maintenance claims cannot be fixed or that is the way it is, which is the risk of renting. So BEWARE.Great location, cool pool.

I put multiple service requests and was never quite fixed. I ended up not being able to use it for the last month of my lease-The walls are paper thin. I could hear every conversation my neighbors had.-Mail takes at least 2-3 weeks to set up. The complex wasn’t to blame, but they should let you know this before signing the lease.-The water and sewer charges were averaged out for the “whole building” and were higher than anywhere else I have lived. I was gone for an entire month and still had $40 of water charges.-The rate I was quoted was much lower than what I ended up paying every month due to hidden fees

Before you read about my experience, living in this complex for two years, consider this: they are currently asking (per Zillow) $1, 484/month for a 2 bd/1ba, 764 sq. ft. unit that doesnt include a patio/deck, doesnt include a personal washer and dryer, and doesnt include guaranteed off-the-street parking. Presumably this is to help offset their nonsense renovations and their measly community pool/public urination wading area. For $1,509/month ($100 more) at City Place at Westport, you can rent a 2 bd/ba, 1, 150 sq. ft. unit with a deck, expansive public pool area, washer and dryer in the unit, and off-the-street parking. And youre closer to Westport. That being said, the proceeding is an account of my interactions with Infinity at Plaza West. By the end of it, I hope that you can understand both the low rating Ive assigned to the property, as well as the lengthiness that is sure to follow.I initially moved into this complex before it had been sold to the Iron Gate group, which is now Infinity. Reasons being: rent was cheap, location was centralized between the Plaza and Westport, and, unlike most comparable complexes north of 43rd St., it wasnt a complete heap of garbage. Any problem that arose was promptly taken care of by the maintenance man, whom I befriended. When the complex was sold to Infinity, they exuberantly announced their intentions to renovate the entire complex! How wonderful! There were, of course, a few issues.I had written to the management staff to notify them of a leak that started in my bathroom ceiling. Living on the first floor, I deducted that it wasnt due to rain. It only took them THREE MONTHS to mount a response and repair the leak.During that time mold had grown throughout the bathroom and had spread through the vents, the ceiling collapsed and partially flooded my bathroom, and my roommates health started to suffer from the effects of the black mold that had been blown throughout the unit. When they did, finally, get around to the repairs, the maintenance man notified me that they had underfunded his efforts, with both materials and resources. In short, it took about three or four separate occasions, over a month-long timespan to complete the repairs.I was understandably upset with having paid for three months of rent while they did nothing with my repair requests and went to talk with them about some kind of compensation. They offered only one month of rent to be compensated.Kind? Maybe. But if your rent accounts for the room and maintenance due to management negligence (which was in the lease), you expect for the maintenance to happen when you notify them, per their procedures. I followed their procedures, paid them for three months of inactivity, and they did nothing until my ceiling collapsed. The worst part being that the leak which caused this catastrophe was due to a simple loose pipe fitting from the shower drain above my unit. Could have easily been dealt with upon the first request.During this time I talked with our maintenance man who informed me he was considering leaving the property which he had maintained for several years (he eventually ended up leaving). When asked why, he informed me that the management staff was not receptive to his demand that if they were going to renovate all of the units, they would need to replace all of the plumbing. Apparently, issues like mine made up the majority of maintenance requests. It appeared that Infinity wanted to come in, put up some new drywall, install some new appliances, and then jack the prices up. Our maintenance man wanted no part of that.We moved out, due to the renovations (as part of our lease), and they charged us a $50 cleaning fee to move a lamp out of the unit, despite the fact the demo crew told me they didnt care if it was in there. Two thumbs down for this place. Look elsewhere.

I remember one time the toilet tank literally exploded and flooded my bathroom luckily I was there to stop the water from running and to clean very quick. I call their maintenance staff and they replaced that tank very fast. I love that the building staff is always doing checks around. Like every two or three months they send notices that they will enter your place for pest control or check up improvements that needs to be done.Price: A little bit pricey, but compared with other apartments in the Plaza this is the best price you will find. When I signed lease for the first time it was $475 but it was a special offer. Then next years I paid almost $600. So, the price keeps going up as everything else on these days.Parking space: You have two options either park in their own lot or out in the street. This part is tricky and probably the most hated one. If you work 9-5 and return on time to the apartments to find a spot in the lot you will be lucky, but it will be very hard to find a parking space inside after 9pm and veeeery hard to find an outside space to park after 11pm. And is veeeery hard to find a space during party times like football or whatever is happening in the plaza. However, it is very convenient to leave your car in your lot and walk to the plaza under a good weather.Laundry: This is another I hate probably more than the parking issue since I learned the trick lol. You will have a laundry card which you will load with money to pay on those efficient machines. I think that is very nice except that if you work until late it is hard to reload those cards because the reload card machine is in the office. Also, for some reason most people do laundry on Sundays, duh. haha well either wash your clothes other days in the week if you are lucky. There is at least in my building 2 washing machines and two dryers for probably more than 20 people living in one building. Meaning that chances are that if you go downstairs from the third floor (no elevators) with all the heavy load down to the basement to find that all the machines are busy then go up again to the third floor with all the loads...can you picture it? So, what I do is to go to Rosedale Laundry because the machines are bigger and there is always space oooor also I do have a portable laundry in my apartment (for emergency loads) and I have a clothesline or simply hand wash what I need for the next day.Noise: Not sure if is only my aparment, but it is veeeery weird that I hear noises from my door neighbors. I had a neighbor at the end of the hallway that would have loud radio music and I was surprised that I never heard his noise in my apartment only when I was in the hallway and that makes me feel safe for some reason. Now, I dont like when is spring or summer because I can hear people talking loud in the street at 2am even I am in the third floor and looool one time I saw a girl dancing on top of a car with a guy probably drunk. What I do in those cases? I turn on my fan and sleep well!Neighbor: The once I met lightly is because their dogs. Yes, this is a dog friendly apartment. I even feel safe because there is a guardian dog in the next apartment just by my door. Trust me no one wants to mess up with that thing. People overall are friendly and helpful especially during the winter. We shove the snow around the cars. The snow machines, removers, etc, I dont think they can reach that part around our cars. We open the doors for each other. I would like to see more interaction but most people are in the own business which is fine too.I could go on and on talking about many details, but I got tired of writing. Hope this is helpful before considering moving in here. Apartment living is not for everyone. I came from a farm living style to a city living style and it takes lots of adjustments.
