The first time I came here I had a wonderful experience and I loved my nails. I always get almond shape acrylics. About 2 years ago when I got almond acrylics they were really nice and they continued to look nice for a month before I took them off myself. I was surprised they lasted so long considering how 4 times a week I worked 5 hours vigoursly washing dishes and cleaning at my job and used my hands a lot throughout the week to finish school projects.Now 2 years later I come back to get the same thing but with a different color pattern and a week after having them my thumb nail snaps off while I was putting on a sweatshirt. Im very upset bc I paid $50 ($45 + tip) to get these hoping they would last for at least 3 weeks and they didnt even last 1. Im not even a 1/4 as active as I was when I got my first set. I dont work anymore and since I have had these nails all I have done is school work which include writing notes and typing on my computer. I am very disappointed and I dont think I will come back if this is the quality I will receive when getting acrylics.Positive part of my experience is that the nail tech I got was nice and she gave me a nail design that I hadnt even thought of. I like the way she designed my nails I just wish they wouldve lasted longer.

I went to do my nails today, the guy at the front was so rude. I was asking how long is the wait time he signed and said I said few minutes!I was like ok time to take my business somewhere else! I left and went to another place that treat people with respect. I don’t expect that from the owner of the business.

The service is always exceptional! Friendly professional staff goes out of the way to do whatever they need to make your experience a good one. I would recommend that you give them a try be willing to bet you wont go anywhere else afterwards.

Maybe this guy was having a bad day but I didnt deserve to be treated like I was wasting his time. I went in to get my acrylic removed and I know its a technique to use a fake nail to rip off my acrylic, but I dont like it, it hurts. He said its taking a long time huh and sighed while he got on his phone. I told him I would just cut my nails so I am done. He up charged me for using the soak. I will NEVER go back here again.

I have set an appointment twice to have my nails done and when I arrived and they saw that I had my child with me they said they did not have somebody available to do my appointment. The man that has done this to me twice now was not working with anyone both times. I take my son with me every time I go to the nail salon and he sits still the entire time and I feel like Im being judged because my child came with me. I know this was the reason because when I walked in and he saw him he asked me if he was going to be able to sit still. Very unprofessional.

Arrived at 338 pm with my daughter on a Sunday and was told they could not soak off her nails since they close at 5pm!!! I was just there to keep her company and not get mine done. I will never never never give them my hard earned money if this is how lazy they are!3 weeks later updated post from earlier that I give them another shot getting a new set came in at 12:22 p.m. close at 5 p.m. and was told they could not do my nails even though it was not busy would not ever recommend this place do not spend your money here go somewhere else

I moved here 4 years ago and one of the first things I needed to find was a new nail salon in my new area. I tried a few before finding Star Nails and that was it! Ive been coming here ever since! The entire staff does an amazing job, no matter who does my nails. The owners are so friendly and they can do everything I ask for with my nails. I recommend this place for sure!

I was warmly greeted by Tony, and even though I was a walk-in Michelle was available to do a Mani-Pedi within a few minutes. She did a wonderful job! Great price, very friendly staff, great experience, and I will definitely be back.

I was excited to go here. Heard great things. Had a pedicure and gel manicure. The staff was friendly and did a good job. Until my card declined. I have never in my life, had this happen, or been so humiliated. I live 5 min from here and offered to give him my drivers license. I work 2 jobs and explained I could come by tomorrow after work, as my credit union is closed on the weekends. I offered to write him a check, which obviously would have all my information on it. He states we dont accept checks. Yeah I get that, but it is legally binding and better than nothing, to hold onto until I come back. He was having none of it. He treated me as if I did this on purpose and was stealing. He told me I needed to call someone to come up to pay or he was calling the police. He made an awful situation even worse. I was near tears because I had never been treated this way, plus I was embarrassed. It is easy to give good customer service when all goes well. It is when there is a problem, that you will see the professionalism, or lack their of, in a business. My friends that I called werent answering and one was at work. I finally got a hold of a friend(within 20 minutes)who happened to be in Kearney and said shed come take care of it. About this time, a very kind lady paid my tab. It shouldve made me happy but I was just so appalled. I asked to wait for my friend so I could pay her and she said absolutely not, that she could see I wasnt trying to leave or believed I did it on purpose. I asked to get her information to mail her payment, but she said no. I am so very grateful that she was so kind. What I dont understand is assuming the worst about someone, as the owner did. I offered to give him my drivers license, I live 5 minutes away. I had told him where my part time job was.. Obviously I had no intention of ripping him off. Last night I had over $800 in my account, so I dont know why my card declined, but a little compassion and empathy go a long way! He was so rude to me. I felt like an absolute piece of dirt. Mistakes can happen. Maybe my credit union had some issue. They arent open on the weekend so I wont know what happened until Monday. But I can tell you one thing. No one deserves to be treated that way when they are trying to find a solution. I was taught to always assume the best in others..and I would much rather treat others that way. It is a reflection on you, and your business, on how you choose to treat others, especially when something negative happens.

Top Notch nail salon. I have been to a lot of salons in the KC area but this is my fav because my nails last a lot longer than other salons. Thanks Tony and Cindy for helping my nails look beautiful all the time

My friend and I came here for the first time. We loved it. It wasnt a long wait, Tony and his staff are really friendly! He has a great sense of humor and joked around with us while doing my nails. I got just a regular manicure but my nails look amazing . We will be back!

They are amazing! I happened to walk in one day and was so impressed that I have been making the 40 minute drive for years now. The staff all do a great job. I swear my pedicure lasted a whole summer once! I have never found a business that has been this personable. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

I absolutely love this nail salon!!! The staff are so attentive and kind and I showed a photograph of exactly what I wanted and they did it perfectly!! Prices are absolutely fair and the actual nail salon is pristine when it comes to cleanliness!!!!! I will for sure be returning here to have my mani pedis from now on!!!!! Thanks!!!!!

I havent had a bad experience here. Its easy to get a chair if you call ahead, they offer water and soda, the staff is friendly and actually try to have conversations with you. I work with my hands so rarely get a manicure, but I always spring for the deluxe pedicure and its only $35.

Now I just start every errand at the ATM to get cash for my errands. It is a pain but when I have cash I avoid the embarrassment of a declined card. I feel for you. I know how aggravating it is. I can even pull up an app and show I have money.... sometimes it is a machine issue and theyre rude to assume you were stealing. Weve ALL been there. Tony was so nice to me, how disappointing you were treated this way.

Used to do an awesome job - getting tired of getting a jab about coming in every two weeks. It is a luxury for me to get my nails & feet done, I will look for someplace else the next time. No hand massage or cuticle treatment this time at all. Yes it was noticed.

Very nice staff, ive been a few time before with pretty good work.. though this time i was looking for the Coffin style and it was nothing close to it.. one hand was rounded and short and the other hand was long and to skinny at the top, not one nail looked like what i wanted.. i had to file them all down to rounded.. i prob wont go back .
