All I can say is WOW! I came here for travel and I decided I wanted to get my nails done to celebrate the vacation. I have been to my fair share of salons and had never fell in love with the outcome, until now! Heide and her staff are very helpful and explain the process very well! The nail color selection is unbelievable and the best part they are all high quality so you know your hard earned money is going to a good product. Hedie is very gentle and if something doesnt feel great she will make if comfortable for you. I absolutely love this salon every time Im back in Kansas City you can bet you will find me at Volker Nails!!!

I am a new client of Heidi. I’ve only had three visits and have been so happy with my results. I am new to “dips” and love how long lasting they are. The color selections are great. When you go to other nail salons, it’s not a personal experience. When you go to Volker Nails, you get Heidi. Don’t expect her to get you in on a walk in basis. She books well in advance. She’s that good! Can’t recommend more highly!

This place is the absolute best! I’ve lived in Kansas City my entire life and this is the only place I will go to get my nails done. The color selection is huge no matter if you want regular, gel, or dip... or if you wanna get real wild with a design or chrome look. They’re very fast and efficient and the quality of work is top notch. They offer complimentary water and wine and fantastic massage pedi chairs. Their new space is beautiful and spacious so bring all your friends!

I got a set of dipping powder on my natural nail (no tips). Not only was the color selection tiny, They lifted after not even one week. When I had them soaked off to get a new set on (at a different salon) they told me I had a nail fungus. I have never had anything like that before. I was told it was either from poor application or dirty powder. Between the early lifting, higher price, and nail fungus I will never be going back.

I visited Volker Nails last week for a gel manicure and a pedicure. The space is gorgeous, the wine is complimentary while you relax and get pampered. The pedicure massage chairs are brand new and the foot soak bowls have linings that get replaced every time so you know its clean. The nail technicians are friendly and hilarious and the quality of work is top notch.

I’ve been going to Heide for years. The new location is very clean, with massage chairs and complimentary wine or water while you get manicures/pedicures. She also does a great job shaping eyebrows. Can always count on getting an amazing service, and she works with you to schedule one on one time.

I have followed Hedi from karma nails to faces/boho salon to now Volker nails. She is so amazing at her craft, she always makes my nails exactly how I want them. She’s knowledgeable and knows exactly what you need to feel great every time. The new space at Volker is gorgeous and always clean. And there’s space here for Powdered brows! If you need a laugh and a pick me up go see hedi, she will make you feel fabulous.

EXCELLENT Nail Technician!! Im 56 and never had my nails done on a consistent basis until I met Heidi about 2 years ago. The ONLY reason I started having my nails done is because the nails on the woman in her chair that day were gorgeous and she said Heide was the best, and SHE IS THE BEST! Tons of choices for nails, and they last and last without breaking or chipping, etc.! My nails have never grown as well or looked this great! Volker Nails is a nice, clean, friendly shop with a calm, casual atmosphere.....AND new large massage chairs. Heide is the best nailist you could ever hope to meet and is a lovely person who makes you feel right at home. She also offers excellent eyebrow micro-pigmentation (or just a wax if need be). Heide is not only my nail technician but quickly became a very good friend as well. You will definitely feel comfortable with Heide and EXTREMELY HAPPY with your nail results, Guaranteed!!!

I’ve been coming to Heide since 2014 when I moved to KC thanks to a recommendation from a friend who is also a devoted client! In 5 years I have not and will not let anyone else touch my nails except Heide. My nails are always beautiful and meticulously done! My nails were weak, wobbly, and easily broke before coming here and now they are sturdy and grow to incredible length resulting in a cut or file down every time. I’m a consistent 2 week client and honestly could push it out longer. I just can’t miss my time with Heide! :) The work done here is incredible and the new space is beautiful. Heide and staff will make you feel at home and comfortable with a beverage in hand and a lively, fun conversation sure to follow.
