I go to Calvin and he is Amazing! I’m very picky with nail shape and the color being to the edge of all my nails and he does it perfectly every time! A lot of times I’m lazy and wait 3wks and my nails have never even popped off, I also get them thinner than usual, if that tells you the quality of his work at all .Everyone else there is really nice and out going too.

My daughter made an appointment a month ago for her and (3) of her brides maids to get their nails done before her wedding coming up this Saturday. She called one week in advance just to confirm her appointment was still good. She was assured that it was. She arrived today with her brides maids and was told there was not appointment and no openings. When my daughter asked if they could fit her in or make some kind of arrangement they actually told her to GET OUT! As a father of the bride I cant tell you how angry this makes me. If this is how they treat loyal customers (the ladies in my home have gone there many times) they will be out of business very soon. My daughter went over to Nails So Happy (Legends shopping center) and they gladly took care of all (4) ladies with no appointment and no problem.

The only reason why they got two stars is because they did great on my feet but the price for a manicure and pedicure is ridiculous especially if it’s only been a week and a nail already came off and I already need a fill.....they’ve never did me wrong until now. I don’t know what happen but this is not okay. I don’t want y’all to fix my nails I want y’all to fix whatever problem you have.

My daughter got a mani/pedi that looks great. I got a good pedicure but asked for my old gel manicure to be soaked off without new polish added. Instead he used a dremel to remove my manicure (and some skin) and then rough filed my tips and sent me to wash my hands. When I came back, he was at the register and told me I was done. I paid and left but my fingernails look awful and are very thin and fragile from the dremel.

Staff was super rude and in a hurry we were there for my bachelorette party wanting to get our nails done and they made the experience horrible. Not to mention that half the parties nail ended up chipping before the day was even over will never go back.

The shop is very pretty and clean. The people were very friendly. Lena did my nails and did an amazing job!! She was so sweet and easy to talk to. Her artwork was beautiful too. Shes my nail lady for life!!

I’m new to the area and decided to check this place out. The vibe was cool and they were friendly. However, my nails weren’t up to my standards. There was a discussion on how the nails were supposed to be done and the price. I guess certain people charged certain things. Rachel did my pedicure. She was good. Lynn was supposed to do my nails but I guess she didn’t know how to use colored acrylic powder. So, she was switched out with Juan (I think). He finished them. The shapes are not consistent and I felt like it was rushed. He tried to fix them, but by the end I was irritated and didn’t care. I doubt I’ll be back.

They dont answer the phone and when you try to do a walk-in, theyre like, you should make an appt! I called 6-7 times a day for 4 days before walking in.🤦‍♀️

I went here and got a full set and a very simple design, not even full paint. I got told one price but towards the end a lady came up and my nail tech and she began speaking in their native language and all of a sudden he says hes sorry but he has something to tell me...the price will now be more! I ended up paying 79 dollars for a full set and it doesnt even look that great! NEVER AGAIN!!! BEWARE OF THE RIP OFF!

Me, my mom and my little sister came and got our nails done i got a pedicure which felt rushed and didnt really get to enjoy it, she then told me someone else would do my gel manicure cause she was busy, thats fine, the man who did man who did my nails made me feel awkward and weird cause him and staff were making fun that I wanted a minnie mouse on my nail which I got it for memory of my little sister who passed away last month. I will be going back to get it fixed since the whole gel polish came right off and then u will not be returning

My daughter and I came to get pedicure when asking a question about services the environment became very hostile. We ordered a deluxe pedicure not all of the scents where available. This information was not told to us until well in to the deluxe pedicure services. We will not be returning not a relaxing experience at all.

I had a new acrylic set done after having not had my nails done in over a year, and I have to say I was super impressed with Nail Envy. The salon is open, bright, and welcome, with plenty of room to accommodate quite a few people. All the staff are very friendly too, which made me feel more comfortable. I loved my nails when they were done, and this was honestly the first time Ive ever had a new set applied where my fingers didnt hurt later or the next day. No soreness, no cuts or scrapes or burns. I will definitely be going back!

They didn’t do anything I asked for, the nail polish I chose was NOT what I got. She would NOT do the shape I wanted even though my nails were long enough to do what I wanted. She also cut my cuticle so bad my finger was bleeding. And when I called they said they wouldn’t refund me when I didn’t want to go back there. I know they have a policy but I’ve never been there and I didn’t see the sign he mentioned. The manicure looks like a child did it. I’m never coming back here.

Act like theyre doing you a favor for providing basic items that nail salons are supposed to have. Also the woman reused a drill on me and she thought I didnt see are do it, UNSANITARY. Customer services keeps me patronizing your business the lack of I gladly take my business elsewhere!

I went in for a pedicure. The lady who did it was really sloppy with it barely scrubbed my feet and y toenails are still jagged. She didn’t remove my cuticles. I was not pleased. Probably will not be back.

Edit- I went back for a new full set and they charged like crazy. Over all it cost $60 for a new set + gel + stiletto shape. That seems excessive since new sets start at $30. And the chick didnt even put polish on smoothly. I have bubbles where the clear wasnt even.I wont go back. Id rather go to the one in Bonner Springs. Ive given this place too many chances.. THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU.

I have gone to Nail Envy for years now. This last time was two weeks ago, I got a gel polish acrylic full set and the basic polish $27 pedicure. I received my total and it was $119!!!!! They charged me for every little thing they did- matte top coat, shaped nails, feet scrub was $5 EXTRA- I still don’t know how it was that much, I can’t figure it out. I’m not against paying good money for services, but when a business is nickel-and-diming you then they really just don’t care about the customer. I won’t be going back.

Ladies day out. There were 7 of us, including 2 children. I have callous on my feet...they didnt do a good job.

My daughter and I got our nails done on Sunday January 24th I was originally going praise about how much I or we loved our nails even talked about taking my other daughter for her birthday. But then my daughters nail polish on both ring fingers started to change color so she called to see if she could come in and get it fixed we got the gel set and polish figured worth the extra cost so they told her to come in and they would fix it great. She gets there and the front person takes her to the same tech who did them yesterday which was fine as I said before was very happy with the nails but thats when every thing changed as they begin talking trash about her and being very negative I guess they think if they talk different language they can do that but guess they didnt know she could understand some of it and fact it wasnt one person but everyone or most of the staff makes me sick seeing how she went in because they offered to fix it. Im sure they could care less that we wont be going back or referring anyone go them

One of the workers did my pedi and my pedi came out cute but when it was time for my nails the same worker that did my feet did my nails and it did not look like the picture i showed him . And while he was shaping my nails he’s going to rudely ask me what amI looking at when i was looking at my nails because my very picky about my nails

Really posh environment. The staff are all very friendly and do quality work. I have had a powder dip mani, gel pedi and eyebrow wax. I have been very pleased with all of their services. Easy to schedule but you can walk in, too. 👏💙❤

Completely incompetent - called to make an appointment but when we arrived they didnt have us scheduled. Not only that, they suggested we made the appointment with another establishment.After showing them the number we called on my cell phone they basically dismissed us. This is my first time coming here and im one of those people that will look at the reviews before going to a place because half the time places dont know how to give good quality service anymore but this place hands down the best Ive been to in kansas . From the phone call making my appointment to the time I walked out the door it was not only good quality service but they are extremely nice and polite. I will definitely be back and i would suggest it to everyone in the area looking for good quality nails. In the 4 years Ive lived in kansas I have never been this satisfied with nail service as I was today. I just left this place and I immediately had to get on and say how much I loved it! I am so busy right now that I needed some time for myself and this is just wait I needed. Nice and relaxing and my nails look amazing!! My nail tech took his time with my mani and pedi and made sure my nails were perfect. I will be coming back! Hopefully before next year.

I have been going to place for about a year and I scheduled an appointment to get my nails done today and I was going to running late. I tried calling them 3 times and it was a busy signal. I went in there and they said they cancelled it because I was 12 mins late. They treated me poorly.

Had a fill done the beginning of March, with this virus going around... my nails lasted until I took them off the end of April. They survived a pandemic! Very happy with the quality. Been going to nail envy for 3 yrs now.

Ive been getting my nails done for 30 years and Ive been to salons in different countries but I have never had an experience like I had today. This salon lacks skill and professional customer service. The technician made terrible mistakes that a skilled technician would not make. I was questioning her throughout the process because I could tell this new technique she was attempting was failing miserably but she kept assuring me it was fine. In the end, the final product was so poor I refused to pay and I insisted that he be taken off. The staff was rude, unprofessional including the manager. Suddenly, they began speaking in their native language when I insisted to only pay for the pedicure. The manager had the audacity to say he would charge me for removing the polish. Of course, I didnt pay for the removal. I also noted during the entire time I was there the technicians made fun of their co-workers. They said their co-workers were doing a poor job on their customers and that they wouldnt be getting a tip. Dont waste your time money on this place. They are very unprofessional, young, immature, and untrained.

The nail tech I got was nice only for a moment. Then, he sounded like he was a little agitated with me for whatever reason. I caught the vibe once I accidentally had one of my thumbs nail paint come off while it was drying. Nails turned out somewhat nice, but he definitely wasnt.

I have had both good and bad experiences as far as the quality of work. I have my few that I like to go to. Everyone is always polite and fun to talk to. If your in a rush make an appointment. Some days they are swamped.

It was okay. I got a basic mani. The person at the desk was nice and professional, but when I got to a table, it had not been cleared off from the last person and the tech was standoffish. After my nails were somewhat dry, I had to ask the tech to remove the extra polish on my fingers. Not to mention, I wasnt told if I was dry; had to figure that out on my own.

I have been to Nail Envy multiple times and every time it’s been perfect! My nail tech does a great job, is quick, professional and particular about her work! Every time I’m there I’m always amazed at how busy they are. Usually salons are busy for a reason... because of happy clients.

Mimi was very helpful! And did an amazing job on my daughters pedicure. My pedicure from anothe lady wasnt the same experience :( I paid for the most popular package and the nail tech didnt even cut my cuticles or the callous remover. After she said my pedicure was over she took me over to start my nails and talked me out of a full set to do just a manicure which was nice. But 3 mins in she saw a lady come in and was oh move over there Im going to help her. So I did and Mimi was nice enough to do my nails. Which came out great! Thank you Mimi we will see you again!

Ive always had a good experience in this salon. My nails always look fantastic and hold up well for much longer than if Id done them myself. The staff varies from super chatty and friendly to quiet and professional. I dont mind just sitting peacefully and relaxing from time to time so the quiet times really dont bother me. The salon is beautifully decorated and very clean. They have a great selection of polish colors also. Id definitely, and regularly do, recommend this establishment to anyone.

Obviously have biases. I was a walk in...the first among 3. Yet they went directly to the others. And yes, I happen to be black. And yes they happen to both be white. If I cursed...I would share a lot more. But I wont stoop that low. As a law school student...ill have a lot of work for myself when I graduate! I loved my nails but.... I receive gift cards each year from family and friends. Ran across two while unpacking items after a mishap at our home this year. Took them in and asked them to check them. Had $65 between the two of them and they said they were expired. One only by a couple of weeks. Note there are no dates printed on the card itself so you have to have them scan them. KS law is very specific when it comes to gift cards and expiration dates. Read it. Either way now that I have a copy of the law printed out I will try again otherwise I am done and have told EVERYONE to reconsider gift cards.

I love Gwen and Dan! They are experts in their craft and do a perfect job every time. Selena and Olivia are also delightful young ladies to speak with when scheduling an appointment. I live in the neighborhood and have been going there for years. I would definitely recommend their nails salon and spa to anyone and everyone.

Nail Envy very dirty. You can tell they are under new ownership. It smells like must sour towels. The floors, windows and work area are dirty. I had a nail tip fall off and they, could not get me In that day so I scheduled an appointment came back the next day and I was told I had to wait for a hour because they did not have anyone that know how to put on a tip. Definitely will not be going back, if you can’t keep your place clean, than I question the cleanliness of your equipment. I will drive the extra mile or two and go to YOLO In Bashor Kansas.

Plenty of technicians so walk-ins arent a long wait normally. They do a good job. However, everything is an up charge.

The best nail salon at the legends. Clean environment. Friendly staff. Great service and BEAUTIFUL NAILS. I rarely make appointments because I have never received poor service or work from anyone there. Don’t be confused with this salon and Nails So Happy. Nail Envy is above and beyond a better experience in the area.

Basic. I go get a pedicure to be relaxed. They hurry you along and dont take much time.

I got a dip powder with the added extensions. The worker I had, had no light, didn’t do the correct amount of layers for dip powder (I can see right through them), did not make them even, several are crooked, and three have cracked since I got them a week ago. I paid 60 dollars, an insane amount for terrible nails. I usually only have to pay 45-50 but I thought well maybe it is more expensive since we’re in a mall area. But I received terrible nails for the amount I paid AND I tipped well. Never will I ever nor should anyone else return here if you are getting dip powder nails.

Loved my French tipped nails and I received compliments from just about everyone that came through the drive thru at my work for several days even after they grew out a little.

4 stars only because I have never had a pedicure before, and I am not sure if something could have been better. Very interesting procedure though. Would do it again!

I’ve been going here on and off for 3 years. Like 8/10 I leave satisfied.The last few times I’ve left with very painful over clipping of my cuticles.Also, I paid for gel over my acrylics last time to ensure the color lasted and the gel PEELED off a week later.

Went Saturday around 2, they were a little busy which was expected. But I had to wait almost an hour and a half for gel nails. The guy I had I couldn’t understand what he was asking me and you could tell he was getting every irritated with that. And he had his headphones the whole time he was doing my nails. And he rushed they my nails. The polish is already coming off after only 6 days. Which in reality gel polish should stay for two weeks. And the guy was just plain rude. I will not be going back to this place. Will be going back to my normal nail place.

So i have been here twice to get my nails done, the first was great she did my nails very well and was great with talking. The second time was yesterday and it was terrible, she was rough with my hands and cut them up all over. i told her and she said oh its okaywell i have to go to a wedding in two days and i dont enough money to fix my broken. oh yeah! they broke not even an hour of having them on my hands. no wonder this place has no refunds...she was wearing a cheeta print mask.

Highly recommended. The front staff are nice and respectful of your time. The nail techs are friendly and you can choose how much you want to talk and how much you dont. Ive never really came in for anything fancy so I cant really tell you the skill levels of anything but basic mani-pedis. They have a rewards punch card. I never remember to make an appointment, but I have never been turned away.

Love, love, love coming here to get my nails done! It is the cleanest place to get a pedicure or manicure in the downtown area. It’s a super friendly for both men and women to come and get a pedi or mani. The staff is especially friendly and professional. They always have their nails done and look great! There are many nail colors to choose from in regular polish, powder and gel. I recommend Sue or Tammy for manicures. I’ve never had a better one from either of these delightful gals.

The wait time is not what they told me when we came in. The man was rude and I couldn’t understand a word he said which made him even more unpleasant. He told me he wouldn’t paint my nails until I paid which he charged me $5 more then what should have been charge. Finished painting my nails and never came back. My daughter had her nails done charge me more than what was quoted and also said the nail polish wouldn’t stay on unless you put some another application of something and changed me $5. Her toes nails are so uneven it looks awful. Won’t be back. Then when I go to pay they watch you like a hawk to make sure you give a tip they didn’t deserve.

My nails have never looked so good since going to this place. The nail dips work wonders for growing out your nails. Staff is friendly and they work hard to get you in promptly whether by appointment or walk-in.

I have been to this establishment before today and I had a great experience. Today, I had a horrible experience. I checked in at 5:05pm for a pedicure. My pedicure was completely finished by 5:30, this includes picking out my color. Anyone that has had a pedicure knows that that is a very rushed pedicure. I did say something to the tech and she was so incredibly rude, she said that it was 30 min and I got what I asked for and walked away!!! I have never felt so disrespected and irrelevant. This is a place of business, and I am paying you for a service. As a paying customer I would expect more professionalism and concern from an employee. This was a poorly executed pedicure to say the least. Tomorrow is my birthday, I am having a birthday dinner this evening and this has completely put a damper on my evening. I would highly recommend the owners speak to their staff about customer service and the way that you should treat people. At no point during the pedicure did this woman even attempt to say one word to me. Its unfortunate.... this is the very first time I have not tipped a person for their service. I am disappointed and I hope that this is something that is corrected for future customers.

Was ok. I did get an AWESOME leg & foot massage, but my chair didnt work right, my daughter wanted a massage chair & although very cute seats for little kids it wasnt the best & honestly I felt uncomfortable with my nail tech. Not good communication. Ive been to at least 20 different nail salons in last 15 years. I will try once more & see if my impression improves.

Rachel did my nails today. While she was nice she cut me in two places. Finger still burning and blood all over gel polish. Never apologized. Dumped alcohol on cut many times.

Loved the nails but did not like the pedicure at all. The guy doing it was watching tv and not paying attention.

I absolutely love love love this salon. They have a great selection of colors, as well as staff that are highly skilled in nail designs. Ive never had any issues in the last two years Ive been going there, and they really care about the service they provide. Ive been to several salons around the city and this is the only one that makes me feel special and wanting to keep coming back.
