Emily always does a phenomenal job. They didnt have the glitter polish I so she made it a close as she could. Great work for a great price!

Great service and wonderful people! Brandon and Emily run the place and I always enjoy getting my nails done here! The attached pictures are just the most recent artwork I’ve gotten there but they always try to duplicate what you bring to them! Prices are fair for the work they do and everything is very clean. They all wear masks and there is plexi glass set up in front of every station for everyone’s protection. Wait times aren’t too bad but I try to make an appointment whenever I can.

I called & had availability right away. Brandon did a full set on me & Andy did a full set on my mom. Both men were very professional & had a sense of humor. Covid protocols were being followed & the place was clean. Prices were reasonable & they did such a great job. We will be returning in 2 wks for a follow up appt.

I had set an appointment to get my nails filled at 5:30. I arrived at 5:30 as the set time. I was welcomed in and told to wash my hands, however I waited for 15 minutes for them to start. Once he had started he got up 4 different times to help other customers, each time was 3-5 minutes. The painting was rough, I had fuzzes and bumps after he had finished. As well as strokes from the brush that was visible. I had politely asked him to redo a nail. In all I am paying for my nails to be done the way I asked. I figured we set appointments to get in and out, apparently that is not the case.

Very clean. Very welcoming. They took us right away so we must have hit it at the right time which was great! They were all, pleasant and seemed to understand what we were saying and didnt force us to to buy extra services.I have been a customer since it opened with the original owners. I find that the location is good and its not too big or too small so we like this nail place. There was only one hiccup to our visit and it was because we had a gift certificate that expired due to covid. So even though they wouldnt let use it, they offered us 15% off instead.. so while not the same, we felt it at least was a nice gesture.

This place is still the best in town. Funny thing, I over heard a patron asking one of the technicians. She said, are you guys from California?, technicians answers, Nope, why you ask?, she says, its called California Nails, he said, naw. Im thinking, Ive been coming to this place every since they started out on Parallel Ave, in KANSAS. We go way back, every since since the casinos had crab legs and baby backs. They have always taken care of me and my wife, now they giving me a chance to bring my daughter in and have a father/daughter experience. She loves her manicure and pedicure. Thanks CPN.

When I very first started going to California pro nails it was great, however a little into me being a customer for over a year things changed. One time I got a new set and I noticed under my nail it was turning green. It was Green nail syndrome. The nail tech told me it was something I did but I was going to them for a every 3 week fill so it wasn’t me . I had to let my nail heal . Brian was great but I feel he pick and choose when he wanted to speak to me as a REPEAT CUSTOMER, not him or any nail tech can’t say I didn’t too nice. Lastly for my birthday I got my nails done for the last time, Brian and others acknowledged my husband but not me the paying customer. The other gentleman that did my nails was extremely rough, he filled my skin being funny . The nails after a few days and hours hurt so bad. I went to another shop and had them taken off. The nails were bulky and uneven and the picture I showed him and what I got was completely different and looked awlful, so $68 was down the drain. I loved California nails at first l, because it was in the same parking lot as my job and 2 blocks away from my house but after these last 3 situations. I can no longer give my money where my money is not valued, nail care slacks, and nail techs are rough .

I dont like that I set up an appointment for a tech to do both pedi and dip, I get there he isnt doing anything. Someone else is doing my pedi. Then he starts on someone elses nails. So that leaves me waiting 30mins till he is done. He does great work but customer service isnt a specialty. I set up an appt for a reason. I never just drop in. Not happy right now 😕

From reviews I thought it best to make an appointment. They got me in same day right after work. Emily did a really great job on my fill and Sydney did the artwork. Everyone was super nice and I am so happy with my nails!

Very friendly and excellent quality work. Sometimes the wait can be a little long but always worth it. They All work together to make sure you are taken care of.

Ive only recently started coming to get my nails done here. But I must say I am very satisfied with the service. Last time I got a mani/pedi along with an eyebrow wax. All 3 were excellent. But my eyebrows stole the show. I knew shed done a good job with when I left. But I didnt realize how good until I got home. And the next day at work, I kept getting compliments on them. I am very satisfied with theyre service and will continue to go there.

The owner let me stay in while I was waiting on an uber driver. It was like 3 or 4 degrees outside. Very nice people.

The staff is very nice, but my experience here was not the best. I came in at 9 am for a pedicure and dip powder set. The pedicure I chose was $50, which I was expecting a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, and for some unknown reason they decided to do my nails at the same time. I spent my entire pedicure positioning my arms and hands for the nail tech. It was not a relaxing or cheap experience. And then, after waiting with my MIL for her nails to get done at the salon, my polish still smudged and ruin the pedicure in its entirety. If I decide to visit in the future, I will definitely be more vocal about not getting both services done at the same time, and asking that they are more efficient with the coats of polish and drying time.

I had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to return. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. When I said I wanted a pedicure, a tub was set up for me. The gentleman directed me to the polish wall instead of offering me the gel colors, which I appreciated because many salons will hand you the gel colors without explaining the difference in price. I took my seat and took my time choosing a gel color and was given plenty of time to choose. The chair had a fully functioning massage feature (I feel like most places have broken seat controls). I liked the pricing of the different levels, and I wasnt pressured to go with a higher level. The service was very relaxing and professional, and all tools were clean. I highly recommend this spa and will return soon.

Tried this place for the first time, my best friend and I walked in without appointments and got helped immediately. We both mani/pedi mine with all gel and hers with just painted toes and acrylic French fingernails. Both turned out wonderfully. For $150 (ish) that was a great price for excellent quality. Thank you for helping my friend feel beautiful on her birthday. ❤

Ive heard great things about this shop so I decided to give it a try, and I must say they live up to the hype. Julie was my technician, and she did an amazing job. She was meticulous and efficient. She stepped away to assist another customer briefly but was polite and thanked me for my patience when she returned. I wasnt in a rush, but I appreciate that she was respectful of my time anyway. The price was also very reasonable for the level of service I received. The shop was clean with nice decorum, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. They also have a wide variety of colors to choose from for regular or gel polish. I will definitely be coming back again, and I would recommend giving them a try if youre looking for a quality nail salon in the North Kansas City area. Enjoy!

This is the best nail salon around! Amy is very attentive to details, takes her time to make sure your nails are perfect and is just awesome at what she does. Susan is also great. She does them fast and makes sure youre happy with the end result. Ive been to many other nail salons and this one definitely is the best. All around great atmosphere.

I got there 10 mins after they opened on Sunday and they were already booked, I opted to wait because this shop, people and the details of their work will make you want to wait. I was consistently checked on and Brandon said thank you for your patience if you wait Ill give you %10 off. He said I really dont want you to wait long. I was there for a fill and gel, my mother in law and daughter went for Manis sat, regardless I would of waited anyway. I am from out of town and came here because of the good reviews and some extra time on a work trip. I had on a no chip manicure that they removed, pedicure and a manicure with the dip powder. I also had my eyebrows waxed. I was out of there in less than an hour and the service was great! There were 3 different women that took care of me. They also had a lot of regular clients come in while I was there. No wait on a Wednesday at 4:30pm. The finished product was also way above average. The space is simple but clean. EXTREMELY reasonably priced as I am from the Chicago area. I will definitely visit here again if in the area!

Gel only lasted a week and a half and then the nails began to lift 😭😭 but I loved the people and how quick they were. They also gave me gel at no extra price for my fill. Very nice people. Will definitely be back.

Best nail salon in Kansas City. Ive been going to different salons around KC but never have I received such great customer service. The prices are fantastic for the quality they provide. I am in love wit my nails. I will be definitely going here with my bridesmaids in October.

I had a manicure and pedicure done here on my vacation from California. Everyone at California Pro nails, was really friendly. Brian was great and did a wonderful job. He’s funny too! The salon was very clean. If youre looking for a good mani/pedi at a reasonable price, California Pro is the place to go. I would definitely visit again.

Sandy was great! Ive havent had the greatest experiences lately and have been hopping around in this area but this place has just become my new regular pedi place.

Went in for the first time today based on the great reviews. I had a fantastic experience. My pedicure was done very well and the staff was incredibly friendly. Even though I live south of the river, I will make the drive to get my feet done again.

Only place I will go! They fixed my nails after a hack job at another place and my nails have been perfect since I first started going. They are fast, but take enough time to make them look good. Definitely recommend.

My eyebrows have never looked better! My friend and I get a pedicure once a month, and this has been our hot spot for a couple months. I’ve also gotten acrylic nails and they are fantastic! The ladies are also so nice and very helpful.

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this nail shop. I’ve been to this place three times, the first time two times were nice but the last time I went they had 2 people file my nail down which was weird to me. The first girl filed three of my nails too short and the second girl continued to file when she noticed that. I went to get a fill at another place and I don’t know if it’s the other place fault, my actual nail is lifting with my acrylic and is very painful.

Been here three times now. Love how they did my fingernails and here now for pedicure. I have ingrown toenails and she just wiped it out like nobodys business...no pain!! They are extremely professional and think I have found my new nail/eyebrow place. Amazing!

They were all fantastic! They were great with my 6yr old granddaughter.

Ive taken my young girls (ages 8 and 10) here a couple of times for pedis before big family events. The girls feel spoiled, and we get great quality service. The technicians speak English and make an effort to interact, instead of speaking in front of me in a different language. There are two child-size chairs in the pedicure area for littler patrons. My girls love them!

Used to love going here then the last time we were here it took 3 hours because they kept leaving and helping others so annoying we thought ok it was probably just a busy day but we came back today and sat right away started being worked on and then was left for an hour 2 hours later and we are finally done people who walked in after me got waited on first plus when ever we ask them to fix something they argue we won’t be going back

Pricing is waaaaayyy to high, just for a full set its 25 if you want it slightly longer its 3 dollars more and if you want it shaped it 5 dollars more. Just to get you feet done its 24 dollars.. so your spending about 57 dollars just for regular polish and that not including eyebrow. Way to expensive.

Horrible customer service !!! Waited nearly an hour was only greeted. All three nail techs were catering to two other women not once acknowledging the wait or inconvenience. I just went in for gel polish and was treated horribly never again
