Nice, clean looking facility. Looks like they have a lot to offer. Picking up my granddaughter from swimming during the day. Currently two young people are playing basketball while a group of senior citizens are playing pickle ball on the adjoining court. The exercise room is currently empty. Has a fireplace and a couple of televisions. Upstairs appears to have exercise equipment.

Just go ahead and take yourself to genesis. Much better experience and quality. Way more equipment, offer a pool, basketball court and much more. I can ensure you that you won’t get kicked off the basketball court for a yoga class in a basketball gym. Small workout room with little to nothing. There’s a reason the monthly price is so cheap.

1st time being here, far I like the ambiance. Theres a sense of safety, and thats important when trying to exercise and looking after your 5 year old.The staff are friendly and helpful.Once I get more acclimated and comfortable, I may rate higher.

I have been out to your facility a number of times to check the availability of lap lanes in the evening. I was very surprised to see that the swim teams are now taking up community member lanes and time to enjoy the pool. The swim teams have six lanes and the community members now have only two each night.It seems like member swim lane hours are revolving around the swim teams. Whereby it should be the other way around for paying members. The community usage of the center should come first. Members are paying good money and now have limited access to lap lanes at your facility.I believe you are doing a disservice to the paying community by making us 2nd class citizens to swim clubs.

Was good for evening pickle BUT had to wear mask with only a FEW in the entire gym.

The monthly price for access to 4 buildings is a great value. Especially since they have a 25m pool. Ive enjoyed the pool. I do have to say though, their lifeguards are not very attentive. Ive been in the pool for an hour at night pretty much alone and the lifeguard was facing the hot tub talking to a guy the entire time. Im glad I am not worried about needing a lifeguard but it would be nice to know they are at least facing the pool.The equipment upstairs is nice, walking track is a little small but its nice that it exists. They have tons of classes and I like that they offer childcare. Overall the staff has been very friendly and Ive enjoyed being a member.

Beautiful spot to meet outdoors with family. We go often and we regularly see people flying kites, walking, riding bicycles and simply enjoying the beautiful lawn.

Love swimming and hot tub here keeps me on my weight loss journey

Definitely could use some more equipment and some cushy pads to do floor work on, but there is quite a lot of things to do with the gym, pool, and weights. Its not a huge facility but a good use of whats there..tbh the biggest thing they are lacking which is crazy to me they dont have is a simple lat pull down v bar. Can be used for the lat pull down, triceps, t-bar row, and cable row. So necessary and its nowhere to be found.

Lee’s Summit community centers are great. They have been very responsible with covid-19 in my opinion. Longview is my favorite, and there is something for everyone!

This is a very nice Community Center I especially enjoy using the gym facilities in pool. Everything is well kept organized and clean.

The gym is clean, and nice for upper body workouts and muscle recovery. Most the staff is nice and courteous, but I came in for a single visit and the lady that checked me in was extremely rude and disrespectful. Besides that, the other staff is pretty welcoming and kind, but the older, short, brown-haired lady was ridiculously condescending and rude for no reason, it was really bad. Also, I was kicked out after my workout (they clean) and told I had to spend another $7 to come back in so I could swim/finish my recovery workouts after I had already paid $7 to come in.

RUDE, RECKLESS & INCONSISTEN with rules. Yes, the facility appears new and clean but the service is poor. They are the host and I am paying well for the service. This was my first and likely the last visit!!! I came to watch my child swim with few other kids. There were several men crowding just two lanes, talking and preparing to dive. All maskless. I was in a corner with my mask hanging to a side, far away from everyone, dozens of feet away!!! Yet, this young, sole female lifeguard on duty decided to waltz across the large room to force me to wear a mask and to even demonstrate how I should wear one. So, people can be in a tight group maskless, but I cannot sit, zillion of meters away maskless? This is nothing but a power trip, where the employee choses whom to play with, disregards common sense and stops watching swimmers at will. No, I do NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!

Worked out here this morning. Bought a day pass. Only $8 and the amenities are great and the gym is clean. Wait room is perfect for anything you may be working out. Staff was nice and friendly. The pool is huge and basketball court is nice.

Such a wide variety of things to do here, I love their workout equipment.

I believe Longview is the absolute best of all Lees Summit fitness centers. The center is always clean, bright and well maintained. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Your other facilities should be challenged to attain the same areas of achievement. Thank you for providing this facility for our area of Lees Summit.

This a fantastic place. Newly renovated and spotless. The pool and dressing rooms are huge and well equipped. The exercise area is full of modern equipment and free weights. Gigantic gym is beautiful.

Love the facility, leaving the rating because it’s a joke to have your members who already pay for their subscription pay for WiFi too. It wouldn’t even be an issue except the ‘free hour’ system (you get 60 minutes every day) is on a 24 hour timer instead of resetting every day like it should. This means if you work out at 9pm Tuesday and 6pm Wednesday you won’t have WiFi on Wednesday. This also doesn’t even account for the large amount of people who spend more than an hour at the gym...like I said at the beginning though, facilities and staff are great.

Really like the cost of membership here for a family just wish the hot tub was in a whole lot better shape I primarily use the pool Im not really a big gym person man I do have an olympic size swimming pool and its 13 feet deep at one end.
