Blue bike staff is welcoming and accommodating. The gym is clean and spacious. The classes are well run. The staff even made sure I was safe when a disgruntled individual thought it was okay to follow me and my child as we were leaving the gym. The gym presents a feeling of family and inclusion.
It seems this business is reporting / deleting bad reviews. Absolutely shameful. I had an initially positive review that sat untouched for years, but now that Ive seen their true colours, both my updated review and that of another member that had a negative experience have been removed.Intimidation and discrimination should not be tolerated.
Great place to lift weights.... Price is great per month... Very simple, clean place...I personally skip the mens locker room only cause of the size and always seems to be filled....nbd cause I live close... Rather shower at home anyway...I would recommend this gym...
Its a basic no frills gym. Mo meatballs, no Zumba queens just equipment and people wanting to exercise. Nice staff, great rates equipment is in pretty okay shape . I like it and have been a member for a couple years now.
I love this gym! All the equipment is clean and actually works all the time. The changerooms are clean and well-appointed. The staff are nice and the members are not stuck up. Ive trained in gyms all over the world, this one has everything I need.
Since purchasing this and changing over to Blue Bicycle from Benefit, Jan has made great progress in getting this place updated. You can tell she puts a lot of sweat equity into it doing as much as she can herself. This gym continues to be a great bargain considering all the facility and equipment for the money.
I question any rating other than 5 star. The staff is friendly and helpful. Someone is always cleaning floors or equipment when I am there. Jan, the owner is there daily. Brook the manager makes a point of knowing everyone. Plenty of equipment, hardly ever wait for a machine/equipment. Throw in way reasonable monthly dues and I cant see anyway this place isnt 5 star.
Dont understand the poor reviews. Its not state of the art, but it is only $10/mo so if youre expecting all the perks/bells and whistles you might be disappointed. However, Ive had no issues with the staff or the service and this place works great for quick workouts over lunch. If youre looking for good, no frills place to get a workout in, Id recommend it.
I will say that I love Bene-Fit. Ive been a member there for years, and I love that its not too flashy. The members there are there to work out, not for flashiness. Its a mix of younger and older members, and Its never too busy, even during peak hours, so theres never any waiting for equipment, and it is bigger than it looks from the outside.I do have to call out Julius314159 for his or her review. Im sorry you had a bad experience there, but a lot of members there would disagree with you about Gary. I will disagree with you! I havent met much nicer people than Gary. Hes an engaging, cheerful, and upbeat person, and hes always got a smile on his face. And anytime Ive had an issue at the gym, he listens and looks into it. He knows everyone in there, and people always stop to talk to him when they clock in. Ive even seen him assist some of the older members get to their cars or get on/off equipment. Im glad to put my name by his endorsement, not some screen name, because I know what a dedicated person he is.For anyone reading this, please check out the gym for yourself instead of reading a few negative reviews.
Ive been trying to cancel my membership as I have moved. Can never get anyone on the phone and have sent a few messages through using the option on the website and still no response..What needs to be done here in order to cancel my membership???
5 star quality people that work here. Gym isnt the most modern, but the equipment gets the job done, theres always a good vibe, and space to get a good workout in with no egos ! Would recommend to everyone !
This gym is clean, has decent equipment and is very affordable! The staff are nice and helpful and the other guests are friendly too. Its a great value!
This is for Blue Bicycle Fitness (formerly Bene-fit Fitness)The gym is what you expect for 10$ a month, but it is sort of moving in the right direction once they get the right staffing. So far the plans on paper sound really good with the new space, but the equipment hasnt been upgraded yet.As of now It is not really meant for serious lifters unless you forgo the safety of the right equipment. The evening workers are more worried about getting home early than staying open around peoples schedules what ever they may be. I have already brought it up with management, the issue was resolved for a few weeks, but now it has fallen back into the pattern.I would seriously consider Anytime fitness or Genesis fitness if you need more flexibility on time or expect to feel rushed out the door 15 to 30 minutes before they close if you are a late exerciser. They even bothered to make the clocks a few minutes faster (phones are synced with the time servers? and it seems really petty). I am being nitpicky, but two minutes is two minutes of exercise. The biggest thing that it needs is a squat rack/platform for heavy lifting, but everything else is adequate to get a good variety of exercises in. Newer/replaced equipment could help to utilize the space better.Im still a member but strongly considering moving on else where.
This place has everything you need. The equipment is a bit tired but all is really functional. For the price you cant beat it . And the manager Brook is a boss. He makes everyone feel so welcome.
Great little neighborhood gym; its MUCH bigger on the inside than it looks from the street, due to having a deep-not-wide design. $10/month is a steal for a full free weight/machine fitness room, an exercise room (classes cost extra, but you can use the equipment in there yourself if you know how), and a front room of cardio equipment. They have trainers regularly helping clients, though that is again an add-on. If you know what youre doing, this is a great place to stay fit on a budget. Plenty of equipment for the crowd, rarely do you have to wait for equipment, even free weights. Both clients and staff are friendly, if pretty mind-your-own-business. If you need a spotter, you can just say so and someone will be glad to help, though. My only complaint is the hours are sometimes difficult to work around, but longer hours would cost more...
Great service and Steve was a great tour guide, sorry I 🐈-fished.
Wish they were open later sometimes, and they are a little light on some equipment like kettlebells, but the staff are friendly, as are the majority of the members. Good value for the money
I think the previous reviewer is dead wrong! The only machine that is not up to par is the stair stepper. It is a revolving staircase poorly designed. The other equipment is fine. I dont know if anything in that ladys critique is correct, She is certainly wrong about the cost. The cost is less than $200 per year.
Worst customer service I have ever received. Was charged an annual fee after being a member for 10 months AND at the same time I was cancelling my membership because I had moved. I was spoken to in a raised voice by mamangement and informed I was being recorded each time I called.
Great gym for $10 a month. All the staff are really nice and all the patrons Ive run into have been kind as well.
Very Bad management. I moved out of city and I called them to close the account. One of the employee told me that I have to pay ‘1 month’ of amount in advance and I am okay with that. I was shocked to know that I was charged for the next two months too until I checked my statement. Now I came to know that I have to fill a ‘Cancellation form’ to close my account. Are you serious???!!!!
I wish I can go back there, great experience.
A good variety of equipment. Staff is very friendly.
