The service was good. They are helpful and friendly. When I dropped off the car I was not told that I would have to take a taxi to the airport. That would have been helpful in my decision prior to renting the car. They called me a taxi which cost me $15. So aside from that, it was a good experience but I think full disclosure up front would have been the ethical way to goEnterprise, You owe me $15..

Super easy pickup. Friendly staff walked me through signing, got the car, we walked around it checking for any marks or damage and I was off. Really nice pleasant experience. Drop off was just as easy. Drove in, was immediately greeted, the car checked and it was done. Then a staff member drove me about a mile into town to the mall where I was going to meet my ride. Really nice staff with great customer service skills. I will do business with them again!

For the most part renting through Enterprise was easy. We rented on 3 different Hawaiian islands. Maui, Oahu, Hawaii (big island). The first 2 are within walking distance of the port/cruise 10-15 min, with more time walking out/in the port at Maui than on the outside..The few issues can be resolved a few ways.A. Customers need to plan accordingly and reserve early AND have their id, CC ready to go.. Takes me literally less than 10 mins once I hit the counter.. Cant say that for other customers.B.In light of a cruise ship coming in (and I am sure an influx of reservations) Enterprise needs to bring in (if possible) 2-4 other associates to work this busy 2-4 hr window. Which this combined with the other customers end, would lessen the time in branch for customers.Thanks again, and until my next rental

We had a great experience with the customer service and the car. The lady who helped us was cheerful, helpful, and got us a car right away. As far as a way to improve the experience though, it would have been really nice to have the option to drop the rental car back off at the airport without paying an additional fee. Also, when we dropped the car off at night it was a little tricky to turn into the right location because the Enterprise sign was not lit up.

The next door company that I originally booked my convertible with didnt have any available upon arrival and over there they didnt care about that at all, I ended up in the enterprise office where I was able to get a convertible without even having reservation. Great location. We took a taxi to and from the Airport for about $12.00 It was much less than renting direct from the airport. Friendly staff and the car was like new. We would probably do an suv next time we had a Nissan Altima and found it too sit low and harder to see out of when parking and turning. We always book early for Hawaii and get a better rate.

During our stay we had problems with one of the vehicles and when we returned they exchanged it for another vehicle right away. Again they were very friendly and never rushed us as it was just before they closed for the day. I will rent from them again on my future trips to the island.Same review? no. I was the other driver in the second vehicle. Easy taxi ride from the airport. Yes, Enterprise picks you up, if we had rented at the airport. Since we were not using the airport we had to get ourselves to Enterprise. Yes! I would do it again this way.

When in Maui we always use Enterprise on Hana Hwy. The staff are very professional and they strive for customer satisfaction. They provide the right vehicles for the best pricing. Very easy to work with and had a decent selection of rental. We rented a mustang convertible and it was fine. A few issues but nothing major.

We rented two minivans for our group of 12 family members. We were on the Norwegian cruise ship and found this enterprise location to be just a short walk from the ship. Great location and the vehicles were almost new. We were also able to leave the vehicle in the nearby shopping center overnight for our two day rental in Maui. The service was excellent and they found an item we had left in one of the vehicles. Definitely recommend this enterprise!

I had to rent a car here just for the day as my was in the shop. First, if youve never rented from Enterprise youre missing out! Their staff are so well trained and never fail to be polite and helpful. I wish more companies trained their staff as well. They gave me a minivan at a super low price of $33 when their vans usually go for $75 and up. I also like how they pick you up and drop you off at no additional charge. Great place!

Definitely had the best rates around. Had to take a cab back to and from the airport but a very minor inconvenience maybe took a total of 10 minutes each way with easy drop off. Even with this the price was still better by far. The staff was great! The girls were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. My wife said to give them a ten but I can only give them five stars in Googles rating.

I have used Enterprise a number of times and never had a bad experience with them. I always compare rates well in advance and book the best price... you can always cancel and rebook at a better rate if one comes available. This off-airport location was several hundred dollars cheaper than the airport location, so even after a small cab fare and a drop off fee to leave the car at the airport location (after hours) I still saved over $300.00 on a 1 month vacation rental. Their rental deposit is higher than some other companies, but it is only a credit card hold and isnt charged to your account until the vehicle is returned... and at that time only the actual charge is billed.The mid size SUV I had booked wasnt immediately available when I arrived so the agent gave me a $50.00 credit for having to wait 15 minutes for the vehicle to arrive.The paperwork was quick and friendly, the vehicle only had 600 miles on it and very clean. The return check-in at the other location took only a couple of minutes and I boarded the shuttle bus to the terminal. The charge was exactly as I my online booking stated and my $50.00 credit showed up on my credit card 2 days later.This service was very similar to my experiences with Enterprise in the previous 2 holiday rentals.

First car was not well cleaned and had a tire with a slow leak, requiring us to fill it (had to visit five stations before we found one with working air) and return it across the island. However, exchange process was quick and smooth, second car was better and return to airport was handy.

March 25, 2018 we rented a convertible Mustang to tour the Road to Hana. We come in on NCL and walked to the location, approximately a 10 minute walk from the ship. The check in process was quick and easy and the car was spectacular, a 2018 convertible Mustang in excellent condition. My only concern was parking the car at night as there is no public parking at the port. We ended up leaving it parked in a mall right next to the Enterprise location as did many others. We had no issues. We returned the car at 7am the next day and again that process was quick. Thank you Parker for outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend renting from this location as opposed to the airport location if you’re coming in on the cruise ship. The airport location doesn’t offer shuttle service so you have to pay for a cab to and from location which adds an extra expense whereas this location is within walking distance. This location also offers better rates than the airport location.

Walked over after arriving by NCL cruise. Took about 12 minutes to walk over. The line was a little longer than I was expecting, but it moved quite quickly. Originally reserved a sedan, but decided to inquire about a 4 door jeep. The price was right and we chose this option instead. Adam was super helpful and made things quick and easy. The return process was just as smooth.

We rented a car for 3 months here, and everything was very smooth. I was only going to leave a 3 star review because every time I called in the employees were very short with me. However the last time I called Mike went above and beyond our expectations to make our experience much more pleasant. Enterprise will definitely have our business in the future!

This car rental was easy and fast. Off airport and easy to get to 10.00 cab ride. The agents at this place we eager to help with anything, they helped my husband with the luggage and getting us a cab back to the airport.. Only complaint I have is the car had a lot of small dents in it and the front bomber had a part that was hanging from it. Will rent from them again

Very rude service, ask 2-3 times more than regula rental price book online and don’t let us think about it. After 15 seconds a short Japanese looking represtative ask us move out the service line. My ONLY day in Maui was tuned down. :(((

Had to take cab from airport to get to this facility cost $13.00. then they told me they close at 5:00 with no key drop. they also said no ability to pick up or drop off. had to take car to airport facility for return. this cost an additional $46.00. what a deal?????

Great service and a much better price than renting from the airport location. Located 10 minutes away by taxi (usually around $10). I saved approx $100 by renting here instead of the airport location.

The service at this location was great. It stinks that there is no shuttle from this location, but there is one at the airport. If you are going to be coming off the cruise ship, be sure to either rent from the airport or do two separate rentals so you dont have to pay for parking.

Great staff, they personally make sure car is cleaned and ready. I decided to upgrade and the car wasnt ready but staff made sure we got it on time. This place is really close to airport and always cheaper to rent. Staff also helps you get a taxi when you are returning the car. I forgot my go pro in the car and was clueless about it, Ivy from the staff called and informed me about the gopro. She also helped me shipped it back to California. Really appreciate the effort. Definitely going to visit this place whenever I visit Maui again.

Hillary picked us up in Kona where the ships tender docked and took us to pick up our car. She did a very thorough walk around to check the condition of the car before we left. And after dropping the car off,our return to the tender was quick. We were glad we rented from Enterprise.

We rented a car in Maui, HI while cruising on NCL Pride of America. We walked to Enterprise. It is less than 15 minutes away for slow walkers.We arrived when they opened at 7AM and were on our way to a whale watching adventure in Ma’Alaea. Car was very clean. Personnel were very friendly. Rented a car in Kahului,HI. Were late and thought we were going to miss our ship. A manager asked if we were from the cruise ship, we said yes, He knew of the situation and said he would take care of the return process and told us that he would immediately drive us back to the ship. It was a great relief. He did not have drive us back to the ship. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for what he did. Outstanding customer service, will always rent from enterprise. 3rd year seemed different; Nalu Perkins now manager and states, no free upgrades even though I am a club member and come to this location, for over a month per year and have always been able to get a free upgrade. Not happy with manager but happy with the price I paid.Next time, Ill look for another company with better management.2nd year ordering long term rental from David at Hanna location and am very pleased.Lower prices, free upgrade and great personnel are the pros.The cars could have been cleaner but I will still give Enterprise five stars.1st year at Hanna Hwy, Maui. Great service, great prices and free upgrade.What more can I ask for. Rented for over 1 month!

We picked up our car from the enterprise at the airport, drove the car for 2 days and didnt like our choice ( the veloster). Once we tried to gas up the car, it wouldnt take the gas and kept spitting out gas like the tank was full even though we were less than half tank full. We tried calling our original enterprise location at the airport several times but they never answered. We arrived at this enterprise branch and the two gentleman working, were very busy but made us feel like our needs were being met. When we requested our new car, Adam happily said No problem at all we have you guys taken care of.We were out of the branch in less than 15 mins and on our way to the road to Hana.Very professional service! Would gladly give them my business any day !Thank you!!

We rented a car for 1 month from this Enterprise location. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. This store is located off-site from the OGG airport and you will need to take a short taxi ride to this location.

Check in was fairly quick, but with a 10 am reservation there still isnt a cleaned car in the class I reserved at 11 am. Note: There is an available car sitting in front of the location running. It just isnt the class I rented.

As usual, Kahului Enterprise Rent-A-Car staff is friendly and efficient. For me, Enterprise in town always has the best rates. They pick up and drop off locally, though they are not authorized to get or bring customers to the airport. However, the airport is a short taxi ride away.

Excellent customer service. Chad was very friendly and upgraded me to a full size when they were out of midsize cars. I wish I had known they would have picked me up from my hotel in Kahului! It didnt matter as it was a beautiful 25 min walk from the Courtyard Marriott. I had booked for a week but needed to extend my reservation by 2 days, it wasnt much more per day. Highly recommend renting from them as you can avoid the airport fees and this location is not very far from the airport at all.

Easiest car rental I’ve done and the woman who helped me was mad friendly. Was gonna be cheap but for 30 bucks, she said it’d be smarter to upgrade especially if i was driving on the road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii which I was and thank god Iistened. All in all, thhe jeep was awesome and needd, the experience was great, both the interaction and vacation. Enterprise is the only car rental service I’ll ever use

FORMERLY ----- I gave Enterprise off Airport on Maui very, very good recommendations. BUT NO MORE!!! I hadnt rented a car for quite a long time. NOW THEIR RATES HAVE DOUBLED AND THEY ARE RUDE! There are other rental agencies that have lower rates that are off the airport where just like in all localities the charges are much higher ON Airport. DO NOT USE ENTERPRISE!!!!!!!!

The experience was a disaster. I rented 2 full sized cars for 6 adults and 3 children plus luggage. When I arrived at the Enterprise lot they had no cars available in that size. They tried to trick me into taking a car in the next size down for the same price. When I called them on it they lied and said they were going to be offering me a 10% discount later. The management trainee had to go out and wash a car for me and we had to wait for the second car to be returned. I spent 2 hours doing all of this while my family, including children ages 4, 6, and 7 were stuck waiting at the airport. I had asked to speak with the District Manager but was told he wasnt working. I asked for his number and was told they werent allowed to give that out. I asked for him to give me a call on Monday. He never called. I called the airport location on Tuesday and was told they didnt know where he was but that they would give him my message. 2 weeks later and he still hasnt called. No wonder the experience was so terrible; the area is being run by someone totally incompetent.

We have been renting cars from Enterprise at 40 Hana Hwy for many years now. We usually dont have any problems. We had a problem this time with dropping off our car on Saturday night, April 29th, 2017. We resolved the problem over the phone the next day with a manager and we are happy with the resolution.We plan on renting from Enterprise on our next visit to Maui.Thank you,John & Beth Russell

David the Manager was very nice, as well as all of the other staff at this location.The rates here are less expensive than at the Kahului Airport location, though their hours are shorter and they close by 5 pm weekdays, noon on Saturdays, and are closed on Sundays, so this has to work for you and your pick up and drop off schedule.I got my choice of cars, and even a complimentary upgrade to a larger size vehicle.When the air conditioning on my original rental car was a little fritzy, they traded it out for another vehicle right away. Excellent rates and service!

We rented a car at this location, best ever, been to Muai numerous times. Unbelievable service for the $. Much better than the airport. Only a $10 can ride. Kapua was great, she was the most freindly & professional, exactly what you would expect on Maui.

Granted I didnt get the most expensive model, but the car smelled like a Paia hippy. It functioned well enough and was not dirty inside, but the smell, especially in the trunk, was quite bad.

We recently rented from this site while cruising on the Pride Of America . This location is within walking distance of the ship . Our experience worked out great . I was a little nervous because when we got there they had no cars on the lot . We had to wait for a return and for that car to be cleaned before we could get on our way . That was a little frustrating . The staff was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience.

Everyone there was very helpful. Will not hesitate using them on future trips to Maui.

In February of 2012, this location asked more money for a deposit than Hetz with a debit card payment and required unnecessary paperwork I could not provide at the time, because I was just dropped off by a friend and reason to rent a car from them due to not having a vehicle. Brainless twenty-something (look-alike) surfer dude (cant hide it even with his tie outfit) was in-charge that day, who couldnt think independently. Not only that I was willing to pay the extra $300.00 deposit they were asking, because I had the money and it wasnt a big deal thinking its their policy. I suggested to just rent me the car and have someone go with me to pick up the document needed (have a house in Pukalani which is a no pick up zone for them) and Ill even drop off that staff back to their office to complete the transaction with the rental car they were going to assign me that time and day. The response was NO and like the other reviewers said, no compassion and worst of all NO COMMON SENSE, LACKING INDEPENDENT DECISION MAKING WHICH IS, AN OBVIOUS SIGN FOR NOT HAVING MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE!!!I end up taking a taxi and rented out from HERTZ which had better policy, customer service and car assignment for the same rental price they were asking!Whoever hired this brainless and inexperienced surfer dude, need to be reprimanded(!) and the surfer dude himself need to be FIRED!!! Your customer service and staff integrity and reputation in this location will be tarnished immensely, if you keep unsuitable hires like this individual.WILL NEVER GO BACK TO RENT OR TRY TO RENT FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN, EVEN IF ITS THE LAST & ONLY ONE LEFT IN MAUI. If your car is flooded due to a storm Enterprise will hold you entirely responsible for the loss or damage, and loss of use of vehicle, not to mention towing costs, and extras. They must truly hate their customers.
