Ever since I was in middle school, I’ve always been a customer to Sculpture nails! Peter has always been my #1 BUT! He’s brought an AMAZING team to the salon who KNOW how to give you amazing nails! Not overpriced like other salons on central Ave. sculpture nails sticks to true to their prices why? Because they genuinely care for their clients! I moved out of Jersey city for a few years now but whenever Im in town I always make sure I make an appointment!

Im new to sculpture Nails and I have to say the service has been exceptional and amazing. I usually call and make an appointments with Moon (Nail Tech) and I am immediately attended at my slotted time. Moon is great, professional, thorough with her designs and amazing overall. Her pedicure services are to die for and I will definitely be coming back as permanent customer.

It was my first time here and it was a wonderful experience. Cindy2 was very sweet and took her time with my nails. 10/10 recommend seeing Cindy2 for your next nail appointment!!

When I first came in the first thing you notice is the very strong and intoxicating fumes even with my mask on. I tried to put it aside as obviously the nail technicians have to work with certain products for different types of nails etc. Before sitting down I always like to ask about price and see if it’s fair and within my budget. I wanted gel powder with tips and the man informed me that it’d be $40 which I agreed upon so I sat down and started the process, was pretty nauseas and dizzily though the process due to the fumes. At the end the person who had done my nails told me that it was $58 almost $20 more than the agreed price. When asking why it had gone up he had simply said because my nails were long and I had added different colors. Now the price wasn’t the problem as I under certain things can be more however what I didn’t appreciate was the fact that the technician didn’t let me know in advance the extra charge, and I was fully unaware that certain nail length would be more as it was my first time doing tips and he had simply asked me to choose a length without telling me that price ranged on it as well as colors. In the end was unhappy for the service and for the way my nails came out. To some nails are not the biggest deal and to others it’s very important so I thought you ladies may want an honest opinion and review.

My sister and i have been going to this place for quite some time now, they were affordable in the start but now they are tooo pricey.The guy who did my nails was so unprofessional and cut my cuticles so aggressively, very painful and i did not even like the nails. The shapes are uneven and the color is different to what i showed him.While i was checking out, i had a 10% off, so when i told the lady about my discount she increased her prices so that my discount wouldn’t make a difference.

It was horrible experience i had. I thought the services will be great with prices being too highI paid $70 bucks to david who did my mani and pedi and gel nail color. He just came from his country and he just learned how to do it all this when i asked him if he is experienced and know what he is doing he was so confident in saying yes.My nail color came out the same day i visited it was so nastily done even my toe nail color came out jn just one day u had gel colorI have done it so many times but never had this experience in my life.I do not recommend this place because if its your first time they treat u like u know nothing and give you to somebody who is highly inexperienced.

1.) This place feels incredibly unsanitary, which I could have looked past - but my lady cut my cuticles so aggressively that she broke skin on one toe and two fingers. The tools and files she used on me had clearly been used before. She wiped my bleeding toe with a dingy towel. I had to rush home to douse hands and feet in hydrogen peroxide.2.) I asked to match the gel color with a regular polish for my toes…the shades are not remotely similar.3.) I made a 5pm appointment (days ago) and my service didn’t start until 5:17.Do not trust the 4 star average here on Google like I did.

I like that they are open late when most other nail salons are already closed. I went in for acrylic tips and a regular pedicure. I wouldn’t recommend a pedi here. It just doesn’t seem clean enough. Acrylic tips are fine. They did a great job with that. Two stars bc we live in a time where you really need to sanitize and clean better between customers.

I love it! Ive never gone there till now and I am so glad I tried it out! A guy called lee did my nails he’s my new go to nail tech ! Ive never gotten my nails done so good! They look so clean and just the best! I deff would be going there again!

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago to get a new nail set. Received a text confirmation for 11:30 on the date of my appointment. I waited 30 minutes for service and the nail tech that I usually go to was double booked, so he was unavailable. I allowed some one else to do my nails, against my better judgement and the nails last 2 weeks. They all lifted and 3 fell off. I took the others off and made another appointment for a full set for today at 5:30. I called to say I would be 5 minutes late and was informed that my nail tech already left for the day. The new owners are unorganized and not professional So sad... I really love my nail tech, been going to him since HS, but I will no longer will be going there.

I go to Peter for about 5 years now and I love his work. I have long nails and any design I take him he does. I also do my toes and eye brows with Lisa also for 5 years and she’s the best.

Staff are all so friendly. And they do wonderful work.

I followed my nail tech Dan from when he was in East Orange, his customer service and skill set is well worth the 30 minute drive

Horrible job. Rude people and they act like they don’t want to be at work. They rush there work and nothing is ever done clean and nice. Both hands don’t even match the same. I wasted $118 on nails I had to go fix at a different spot the next day. Will never go back again

If I could given less I would for quality and expertise on work. Lee is very nice but DO NOT USE HIM FOR PEDICURES UNLESS TOU FEEL LIKE BEING DISAPPOINTED. I told him step by step what had to be done, used an old brush that I told him didn’t look sanitary. Hands down will never come back. First and for sure LAST time.

Saturday mid day only 2 workers and we waited a hour. Nail tech began to service my mom and did not discuss any adjustments she was going to do and it upset my mom. Communication lacking but did a novel job and basic nail designs. They also need more current polish

I’ve been there a couple times and I loved my nails. But my last experience will be my last. The guy doing my nails did a horrible job on my acrylic and that effected my paint job. Another lady came and had to go over my nails with the drill and it still looks a mess. The shape is off on my left hand. The paint job is another story, very disappointed.

A long wait even with an appointment but nicely done manicure. I got exactly what I wanted, something subtle and summery. I needed a couple of acrylic tips and they blend in perfectly with my own nails.

I honestly love this place but after my last visit it’s been pretty bad . My nails didn’t last one day and they broke already . And I have this horrible infection on my pinky which is preventing from me doing my job which requires me to wear gloves at all times. It really is disappointing that I payed 40 dollars for this service.

The only Salon i go to. They know what i like and they do it extremely well. Prices are great for the work they do and. Meter parking usually available. They have gift cards available you can pay with card or cash.They are very friendly here.

Ive been coming to Sculptures for years. Lately I feel like they have been rude and leave you sitting there if you dont want certain people. I went in to fix one of my nails and one of my daughters nails at 5pm they sat us to soak it off. Now its 6:37pm and they left me sitting there continually taking customers who just walked in to do full sets meanwhile my nail was soaked off. They didnt even come back to check or anything. Definitely finding a new place. I had just did my nails 3 days ago there for them to just leave me there while they do full sets on customers instead of just fixing my one nail.

Ripped off half of ONE of my eyebrows, then tried to tell me no they didn’t I just don’t grow hair on that eyebrow. They’re customer service and skills are horrific please don’t go here

Unclean store! I always call to take an appointment and always wait for more than 30 mins! They know that they have an appointment but they keep taking people who didn’t call first! Colors are old and service is really bad! They don’t care about their customers....my mom, 3 sisters and I have been with them for more than a year! But the last couple of months they’ve been careless and unorganized! They just lost 5 customers in one day! Not even one day! But in one hour of waiting!

I RATE THIS PLACE A- 0/-⭐️Disappointed!!!!!!!!!!Its been a long time since I found such a great place to do my nails, let alone find a place in Jersey City that offers such amazing service. However, I hope no one ever experiences what I experience today April 10, 2019 at this salon. After visiting the place yesterday, mentioning to the manicurist I would be in this week for my 2 week fill-in, I walked in today because I had the day off, walked in greeted everyone good morning and sat down, they acknowledged me. 10 minutes pass, my niece who was getting a manipedi comes in, one manicurist came up to me said who are you waiting for I said her, pointed to my stylist who does a wonderful job, she said ok, she has 2 people. The lady who was getting her nails done and another customer. I said ok, I will wait. 30 minutes pass and the lady asked me again are you still going to wait, I said yes. Almost 1 hour and my stylist had the NERVE to say can somebody else do your nails because IM TIRED!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????? I flipped!!!! I said you have me sitting here for 1 hour, I patiently wait for you. Do you know how long it took me find a good nail salon in JC, I come here on my day off. After an hour you tell me your tired!!!!! I waited from 10:30am to 11:30am and your ganna tell me now that youre tired. She replies Ok sit down Ill do them. I said I will never step foot here again. You just lost a frequent and loyal customer!!!!! Very upset this morning, thankfully I went back to my favorite place across the street. EXPRESS NAILS, Lisa owner. They did their thing!!!
