I made an appointment for 4pm and as soon as I was there they were serving me. They were very attentive, my nail technician was Sokuntheat and she was amazing as well as the young lady who greeted and checked in guest!!!! She Gave me recommendations on my nails, held great conversation and truly made it an experience for me. For as long as I live in Gastonia this will be the salon that I choose to care and tend for my nail needs.

The nail technician who did my pedicure and manicure was rough. I experienced a lot of discomfort during my appointment, especially with the manicure. My nails were already healthy; the roughness that was put into my service was unnecessary. I dealt with discomfort and irritation in my cuticles (toes and fingernails) for a few days after my experience at the Avalon.However, the nail technician did a good job with panting my nails for my pedicure, but I was not impressed with how she painted my finger nails with the French Tip.Lastly, I believe they overcharged me for my services or the listing online needs to be updated. My total should have been $46; not $50. I considered that to be what could have been the tip of service was more gentle and honest.They were professional and prompt in with my appointment but I will not return here due to my overall experience. Im just thankful to God that my cuticles feel better now.

I got a mountain peak shape nail and ombre pink and purple powder on my hands. Mountain peak shape is not as common so I did have to show a picture of it (its like stiletto but not as sharp) but once I did Channy gave me exactly what I wanted. My nails are beautiful 😍 I got a basic pedicure too and my feet are soft and my toes are super cute now. Ty Channy and Avalon!

My husband got a pedicure and I got my nails done. I went in with a complex design on my phone and requested it, not only did I get exactly what I wanted, but the guy doing my nails was amazing. I swear, he has to have OCD because he was very meticulous while doing his job. Ladies he made sure everything was PERFECT on each nail! I believe this is the first time that Ive ever had this done at this level of perfection. No doubt about it, i will be going back.

Very nice. ..Went in the afternoon, sat right down with plenty of distance. Tech did beautiful work & the price was doable...Im curious if I set a time, why check in like a walk in? I could have gotten my nails done a day earlier besides waiting a day.

I went here 3 times the first was awesome the woman who did my nails even the 2nd time wasn’t to bad but the 3rd the older man did them and cut my finger filing my nails and cut my cuticle area 5 different times and my nails aren’t even on some fingers, I will definitely not go back there. And he was extremely rude!

Lovely place to get your nails done amazing service sometimes there’s a wait so I’d call ahead and book an appointment and I consistently go back over and over again there’s never been any bumps or air bubbles on my nails and 10/10

I hate this place with a passion!!! If you do decide that youd like to go only make an appointment with Dawn shes the best and believes in good customer service. My nails were done by a lady names Tracy and she was wonderful, but for some reason my nails turned a brownish black color. I chose gel polish due to the length of time I take in between going to the nail salon. At first I thought that I did something so I stopped by my old nail place and was told that i need to go back to where I originally got my nails done because its a chemical problem. When I arrived a lady that was already with a client asked what did I need done. I explained that I was just in there 3 days ago and my nails were black....she stared at me then ask what did I do, I politely explained that I hadnt done anything. No dyes, I hadnt even washed dishes. Only bathed. She spilled out something in her native tongue then her partner laughed. She then told me to pick my color. At this point I was a little embarrassed so I left. I didnt appreciate being laughed at nor did I appreciate being interrogated in front of strangers. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

My first visit was amazing, however today was enough for me to just walk out, very disappointed after giving this place a chance even after all review. So I check in wash my hands watch 4 others come in after me get sat and services started. Really?

They do an awesome job!!!! I am a VERY VERY picky woman when it comes to my nails. And it may be a wait alot of times but its well worth it. Sofia is my fav!!! But all do a good job. They dont rush through like other places they take their time on each and every person!!! ( hints why its a little wait)

I went into this salon 2 and half hours before closing, I asked if they had time and he told me after he asked what I needed done that they were busy.and he was very rude about it. He couldve told me before I wasted my time going there and waiting for someone to ask me. I understand salons are busy but couldve saved me time waiting and couldve just told me at beginning and not been rude to me

I used to love it here... NOW its terrible. Last time work was horrible, stated that I was very unhappy but did not have time for it to be fixed right then was still charged full price. Returning two hours later to have them completely done over charged full price again. This time I have an appointment at 10, it is now 10:26 and I am writing this review instead of getting my nails done. I will NOT return!!

Tried to get manis with my friend and she had to sit and wait for me to get done before she was serviced and others that came in AFTER us were taken care of before her. Not to mention my full set turned out sloppy and too big for my nail bed. This used to be one of the best places to get your nails done but I would NEVER recommend this place nor will I ever come back.

Decided I’d give this place a try, and I’m very disappointed. Took 2 HOURS to remove my old SNS powder and to put the new color on, The lady was very slow and didn’t even give me the color I picked out. I had the product all over my hand and it looked terrible. Ended up going to my original nail place to get my nails redone. Worst service I’ve ever received and I will not be back

By FAR worst nail salon I’ve been to in Gastonia. Horrible customer service. I asked them to not use gel nail polish and she put on a gel top coat, but a gel top coat on a white tip French manicure attracts dirt and looks terrible after less than a week but the lady INSISTED that it was better. Constantly tries to up sale everything. Waited over an hour and then paid more than my normal salon for something I WAS NOT happy with. Trust me DO NOT GO HERE unless you want crooked nails and high prices

The people were not professional. I had told them she had cut into my skin and asked her to stop but kept going (she could speak English) so it’s not like she didn’t understand. I had made an appointment and asked for fill in with diamond powder and he said ok then when I got there the woman said they didn’t have it.. guess I should had walked out. 🙄 Very frustrating.

Lenny was awesome, he asked questions about style i wanted on my nails and listened to my answers.

The nails were nice after I was done. My finger chipped the next day so I guess Ill just get my white tips rather than a French polish. Also I wasnt greeted until I looked like I was concerned about something and the bottom of my feet still has dead skin on it.

Terrible customer service ! Horrible job ! We will not be back !

The first time I came here I was skeptical, because I am really picky about my nails...however they did an amazing job. I wish I remembered the ladies name that did my nails. I know she has a little boy and she sits at the lower chairs. I loved her work, she took her time and cared how my nails looked. 5 stars for her...but I went back today and I signed in. I was not greeted for 20 mins. Someone asked what I needed done. It was a simple fill in. I know they were busy so I didnt mind waiting...however 50 mins went by from the time I walked in and one of the lady proceeds to tell me they wont have time for me I have to come back tomorrow. I would have been fine with this if they could have told me when I first walked in. I work a full time job too and have 5 children I dont get much time in between my schedule for myself....I understand they were busy...they only had 5 people doing nails..but a greet and setting that expectation in the begging would have saved me time to go somewhere else to get them done...i also tip well over what Im suppose to. I probably wont come back because the way they made me feel like I wasnt as important than someone spending more..even though I always tip plenty. But they wouldnt know that. They do a great job with their nails. I was just not impressed with the customer service.

This nail salon has some of the worst customer service I have ever received plus this is not the first time they have messed up my nails. I come every time I need a fill-in and these past two times they send me to th worst nail tech they have. When I’m spending my money to have gel nails I want the polish to last me for the two weeks it takes until you need your next fill in not chip off four days after you get your nails done. Then on top of that their attitudes are awful. If someone is spending their money with you wouldn’t you think they would have a better attitude.

Never had a pedicure where i havent been asked if i wanted my nails cut, until today. Maybe im weird, but there is a way i like things done. The lady just went a head an done the length before i could say anything. An did not listen to the shape that i like my nails. She did not say hardly two words to me. When i was trying to make her aware of a sore spot on my foot she mmmm hmm an kept doing what she was doing. I will NOT be back.
