I love it I come very often, staff is professional n pleasant. I see one person every time she is neat and detailed no rushing, and my shapes are beautiful. She does wonderful hand designs. N of course you will pay, but its worth it!! She has done so many styles I would be scrolling on my phone for days looking.

My co-worker recommended this place & Im in love. Its affordable the work is really really good & the nail technicians are so nice! Clean & sanitary. I got a manicure & my eyebrows waxed & only paid $22! I will definitely return & recommend.

I tried this place one time, because I needed to do my nails quickly. I asked a dip powder manucure. It was a chaos.. the same afternoon my polish was already gone. Bad products, bad quality. I really do not recommend this salon.

I am new to New Jersey from Washington state, and was looking for a new nail place. I went through Google of places close to me. After reviewing I decided to give Nail Tek a chance. I made an appointment for noon. Unfortunately, I went to the wrong place. Lucky for me the lady that answered the phone was super sweet and said I could still come even 10 minutes late. Cindy was Phenomenal!! She was so sweet and kind. She spent almost two hours on my nails perfecting them. Ive never had someone spend so much quality time on my nails. I will always book with Cindy. Worth the money, worth the tip!!!

I loved how much care and quality they put into my gel manicure and pedicure. They accepted me as a last minute walk in and also were very clean and sanitized everything after use, including seats and plexiglass. They gave me my foot scrub and buffer to take home to avoid waste and contamination due to covid. They also made sure I looked great for my birthday.

Just make sure you ask how much your service will be upfront before you get anything done because their prices have increased. 2 weeks ago I paid $25 for a pedicure and yesterday I was told a basic pedicure is $30 plus the pedicure kit is $5 so $35 in total. Definitely caught me off guard when I was charged $35

I tried the Dip Powder for the first time and my nails didnt last a week. My pedicure felt rushed. The service was ok; not so friendly staff. I wouldnt return.

Sara is very sweet and stayed late to do my nails. The pedicurist wasn’t great too! It’s nice & clean and for the area, prices are average. The best spot I’ve found in JC so far!

Completely drilled a hole into my nails using an electric nail file drill!If you come here they will ruin your nails. Ive been recovering my nails for over 5 months and they are still not back to normal.

Cant say enough great things about this nail salon! Ive been coming here for years and all of them do great work. Deedee is my nail technician and shes AMAZING along with her funny husband Kevin and they are the owners of the salon. Ask for Cindy too for a great pedicure! Truly luv this place and definitely worth the wait if you walk in and its busy.

I Love This place I been with them over 15 years They are Truly the Best & I travel back & forth to Florida & PR back here and Im never satisfied till I came back here. Everyone is truly experienced doing manicures and pedicures. I truly love the way the Dee does my eyelashes they feel natural.

First of all...just go to Sharons Nail across the street for cleanliness and customer service. The tech who did my pedicure was the best thing about my visit but not enough to add another star. The other nail tech used profanity and wanted his customer to bring him a brick back from Jamaica. Also charges you 2% for using your debit/credit card. I didnt even leave a tip and I am a generous tipper. #horrible

The person that did my pedicure today normally does a pretty good job. Not sure what happened today definitely not worthy of a 10 dollar tip as she normally get. Oh well maybe it was to early. She became a little antsy when the crowd started coming

I love them, love them, love them!! The only ppl I trust to do my nails & eyebrows. I recently moved to Florida & can’t find anyone to do it like them, I make sure to always go to them when I visit Jersey.

My gel came off within a week. I have been getting gel manicures for years and this is the first time I had gel polish peel off completely. Also the place was not well ventilated and smelled strong of chemicals. I had to request a fan to air out the strong scent.

Caring and attentive. Family atmosphere. You must make an appointment. Very, very busy.

I spent $50 here and paid using a credit card. They charged me $1.50 extra for paying with a credit card vs cash. Also, they dont understand English. We showed them a picture of two tone pink and they just painted the nails pink. IMO, you DONT GET what you ask for or pay for. And on top of that, they charge you a fee for paying with a credit card. Im not one to leave reviews ever, but my experience had to be shared.

The only kind person there was the pedicure lady. After that everyone made me feel uncomfortable and kept on moving me fromPlace to place throughout the salon. I was also overcharged when given the price it suddenly skyrocketed to another amount of money. Not even a week in and the tips broke + polish started chipping off the second day. This place is truly not worth it.

Lauren is the best. I havent tried the others, Im sure theyre all good, but I got Lauren my first visit and of all the places Ive been in my whole life Lauren is the best. I get bad ingrowns and she gets them out and Im pain-free for weeks!! My feet and hands look and feel brand new after I visit!! They get very crowded on weekends so try and call ahead!

As many chances that I give them they always seem to mess up my nails. I think you should go to any other nail salon before u think coming to this one. They have bad customer service, they do not do what u asked for. I went home highly upset because of my horrible nails. I even went back today and they didn’t even fix it. I hope you guys do not give this nail salon any more business

Overpriced as heck for the bare minimum not worth the $ AT ALL

Went here before vacation to get a fill in because it was one of the only places open on sunday. My gel nail polish chipped within 2 days. They were fairly nice but my nails were a mess a few days in not to mention the fill in was not done very well either. I could still see space between my cuticle and the nail. Poor, poor job. Would never go back.

Two stars because the lady doing my nails was very nice and she did a good job. The nail polish peeled off the next day, and the place is not clean at all.

Nice, but not clean, which is obvious upon first glance. I just hoped for the best — unsuccessful wish. Have safely had mani/pedi’s for the past 17 years and got my first nail infection from here. :/

Asked to do the removal of gel mani, one person started, then 2nd was asked to continue, then 3D person came and didnt know what she needed to continue. Very poor client service and communication. Techs didnt show me that the tools were sanitized, shaved all the nail bed badly - definitely none of the nail techs know how to do that professionally. Place is dirty, crowded and messy. Wouldnt ever go back again, waste of money.

Nice place with probably the most reasonable prices youll find in downtown JC. Would have been 5 stars but they dont honor appointments or bookings and wait times can be pretty long. Still, I highly recommend them.

I got a mani pedi from Lauren and she was amazing!! Took her time and made my feet and hands look perfect. She is off on Wednesdays but HIGHLY recommend!

The smell was so bad. Could barely stand it. They must not have great air flow there. Get bad for the clinicians.

They rush through getting the nails done. I told the lady to do the acrylic and she said no it would be ok to try to leave my nails just painted. After 2 days my nails were broken 😠 and I paid a decent amount to get my nails done. Lesson learned!

Im new in the area and was looking for a place to get a pedicure. With so many options on Newark Ave I wasnt sure where to go.. I finally decided on Nail Tek and I must say Im glad I chose this place..It was probably the best pedi Ive ever gotten. The lady was thorough, did not rush it and gave the best massage. It is a nice environment in a great area. I had a migraine and Im so appreciative that they made my experience a good one. I felt a little better leaving there. Thank you Nail Tek! Ive found my new nail salon!

It was ok not good not bad just right

Against my better judgement (friends HATE this place!) I went to Nail Tek for a gel manicure. Gel mainures are supposed to last for 2 weeks and at $35, they should last that long. After the 2nd day, the polish started peeling off and when I say peeling off, I mean the whole nail peeled off with ease. When I went in the next day to have it repaired, the owner of the salon acted like he was put off that I had to get my manicure repaired, no apology. After 4 days, ALL OF THE GEL POLISH PEELED OFF!!! When I went to go back a 3rt time, the owner accused me of doing something and refused to refund my money or redo the manicure. DO NOT GO TO NAIL TEK!!!! Horrible customer service and terrible work.
