Very clean and quiet. I have been searching all of Jacksonville for a good pedicure in a salon that has kids chairs, because my son loves to get his feet washed as well. Usually at other places I’ve tried, the massage wasn’t good or the dead skin removal wasn’t thorough. I think I have finally found a great place! Everything was perfect! Thank you so much!

The pedicure was quick and polish was lumpy.. as I set down to dry my toes.. I watched an employee rinse the pedicure tools with only water,😳 and then put them in a clean plastic bag..OMG!! Nasty!! IWill NEVER GO BACK!!

My sister took me and my mom here for mani/pedis and we loved our results. The staff was friendly and did an excellent job. The salon itself was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere.

I love this place! I have tried other salons, and I always come right back to where I know I will be taken care of. They do an excellent job with caring for my natural nails. Staff definitely are concerned more about customer service than upselling. I have been coming here for over two years and never had a bad experience. The salon and bathroom are always clean. I recommend making an appointment so you don’t have to wait - they get busy during evenings and weekends.

I was very upset with the money that I spent and the way my Eyebrows were plucked!!I left in pain and my face was swollen ! However the woman that did my pedicure was very nice and my feet felt wonderful .I will not be back for a eyebrow wax, I may consider a Pedicure 🙄🙂

I went to get a fill-in on 07/10/2020 and was told to get my nails completely taken off to get a full set... I was charged $55 for. SATURDAY 07/11/2020 my nail broke I called MONDAY & CAME IN to get it fixed and told them that my other nails look exactly the way the one that broke off was before it broke... today is FRIDAY 07/17/2020 & ALL MY NAILS ARE BROKEN. HORRIBLE SERVICE IM NEVER GOING BACK. ILL SPEND MY MONIES ELSEWHERE. THEY OFFERED TO CHARGE ME $20 FOR A FILL IN Half Price like Im an idiot. I recommend not going to this salon. Wasted my money!

I have been going here for years. I got a full set, eyebrows waxed & a pedicure. It wasnt a lot off ppl there due to CDC guidelines. I waited maybe 5 min & was serviced at my appt time. They are friendly & my nails were done to perfection. Highly recommend.

Went in for a simple eyebrow clean up and came out of this establishment with horribly done eyebrows had to immediately go and pencil my brows to even look half way decent. Very disappointed & would not recommend!

I use to go there and had no problems, but now, after two days my nails lifted and i had to go back 3 different times to get lifted nails fixed after a week of having a fresh set. One time i went the lady tried to say it was because I needed a fill-in but I had just got my nails done a week before. Then when she fixed my lifted nails I instructed her the other ones were lifted as well and she told me that if I wanted my nails done I had to wait for the original person that did them in order for those ones to get fixed instead of just fixing it right then and there. A few days later the lifted nails I wanted her to fix broke and I had to go get them fixed again. Today I went to go get a fill-in and one of my nails is broken because she did not fix that one as well.. Philip or Tony whatever y’all call him, he told me that my nails are like that because I might wash my hands too much and I’ve never heard of that and I’ve also have been having my nails done for years and never had this issue. Instead of them being considerate or kind of the fact that they are the ones that messed up my nails, they told me that I can just go somewhere else. They are unprofessional and do not go to them if you want your nails to look good and stay good

My first time coming I had a guy Danny do my nails. I can say he did an awesome job. I don’t like people who rush and he took his time and was very neat and clean. I definitely will come back and tell people about them!!❤️

Sunny Nails wore/lasted better then any other shop in the area. My nails are perfect even after 3 weeks. They are open on Sundays ~ Clean & professional salon. Highly recommend!

This place is a joke. I started out going once a month because they did such a great job my mani/pedi the gel lasted that long. After the 3rd month I noticed they were not polishing the nail back to the cuticle which meant I had to get my nails done every two weeks. So I went from paying $85.00 including the tip once a month to $85.00 including tip every two weeks. Never going here again.

Terrible experience at this salon. I was in the neighborhood and figured a simple pedicure wouldn’t be that complex, but I was apparently wrong. First off, I was given a really hard sell on upgrading my pedicure to another level. I repeatedly stated that I didn’t want to do that, but the guy told me that I basically didn’t know what I was talking about and then I should just go ahead and upgrade. I probably had to say four or five times that I wasn’t interested. When he was finished putting polish on and my nails are drying I paid $30 in cash for a $24 pedicure, assuming I was getting change back. I didn’t, as he assumed that was his tip. I wouldn’t even have had an issue with that if I hadn’t looked at my nails and saw just how bad that the work was. I chose white and he did one coat very sloppily so that my nail was still showing through on certain spots. Total waste of money and I wouldn’t recommend. .

Friendly service. I am not a regular here since I just had 2 appointments at different times while I was doing laundry at the laudromart. But they meet my standards and I was ok with them! Exceeding some expectations in some parts.

I’ve been going here for 5 years now and i get the absolute best service from anyone who works here. However, my go-to is Tony. He always makes my nails look fabulous and unique! Sunny nails has all the updated nail products from their gel polish to the new dip powder! The variety of acrylics is unbelievable!...I’m like a kid in a candy store when i walk in! I’m a walking advertisement for Sunny Nails, for i am constantly getting compliments on my nails. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to go but here! Last but not least, go see TONY!

This is the best nail shop in Jax. They can do any nail design... I mean ANYTHING!! I always get a lot of compliments from their designs. They are pretty quick without sacrificing quality and my nails never break even if I go 3-4 weeks between fill-ins. They do amazing pedicures too and we all know how hard it is to find places that can do nails and pedicures perfectly! I love them. I am a very happy long time customer!!

The nail technicians are friendly and nice. The place looks and feels dirty. Also, they must be cheap because the A/C seems to be off. They have fans sitting around the floor to keep you cool.

I come in once a month for a pedicure. They are always so nice to me. They take excellent care of me every time. Best times to go are during the day, during the week.

Terrible work on curve white tips. Woman didnt speak English well enough to understand me, which is no problem but use translators maybe? Also, when I refused to purchase gel due to me not liking the purple/blue light drying method, because it damages your skin and can cause cancer, the tech laughed. She then began telling all other tech and they all laughed and spoke in their foreign language. Costumer concerns should be respected not laughed at. I came here because my 1st experience here years ago was great, not so much this time around.

I got my nails done a week ago paid 88 dollars for a fill, gel polish and flower decals on two nails.. the fill was absolutely horrible it started chipping right away, you can see where she didn’t cover my real nail.. The gel polish has already peeled off, along with the decals.. worst nail experience ever

My nails are nice but the price jumped pretty high. From $25 to $53. For what? And the girl didn’t inform me of anything. She didn’t tell me if anything would cost extra she just sprung it on me. Not gonna go back here.

Nice staff. But I didnt notice an autoclave or freshly opened tools infront of me.. also my pedicure bowl was rinsed after the user before me.. Im a licensed cosmetologist so I know to look for these things.. also my full set pink and white didnt last but a few days.. sanitation is a huge deal

Over a year ago during vacation, I visited Sunny Nails as it was the closet to my Hotel and I had no issues however, now that I actually live close by I decided to go back about 3 weeks ago. Major fail. My pedicure was okay BUT my manicure experience was a total nightmare. Apparently the manicurist was new unbeknownst to me, she literally did my gel manicure and the polish was lopsided....so a another young lady told her to soak the polish off and she would finish the job. Needles to say it took over an hour to finish my manicure. I was patient during the process but already had a made up mind that I was never going back and a tip was out of the question!

I love this nail shop. Tony does the best ombre nails. Their pricing is definitely more than their competitors though.

My acrylic nails came out uneven and different thicknesses. The quality of these nails should have been way better considering I payed $35. Never going here again, the lady sped through my nails just because it was close to closing time and whenever my nails were drying undering the lamps they cut off the T.V. and some of the lights like no one was there. If I could give this 0 stars, I most definitely would.

IDK what it is about this place but I will never come back. The staff is condescending. Their customers service level is so lacking. Im baffled. I walk in 5 staff, no Customer except me. I walk in They barely look up. Then straight to the usual pedicure or manicure no hello, no welcome, Nothing! I hear a growl to pick the color (which I already know to do). I show them a pic and as they are all talking at the same time, Im trying to tell them its just a sample, I dont want the exact same thing to no avail until they all go quiet and finally hear me.. so after 3 mntes of that, Im finally seated. Thennnnn, in the middle on coloring 3 toes, the tech just gets up to go watch something that 1 of them is streaming on his PC.. and Im sitting there waiting..3rd time here and the rudeness happens everytime. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt just my impression but NEVER AGAIN.

The manager of the nail salon kicked me off the massage seat and said I was sitting on it too long.. Apparently the owner has a 15 minute policy on sitting on the chair after you get your nails done.. I came here for a relaxing experience and got the absolute opposite 😑😐

First of all this is the most disgusting place to go to when is time for you to your feet ...Ive been going to this place for some time now couple years ....i have sat there and watched how they to pedicures and they dont wash out their tubs the proper way and they do back to back customers, which I think its disgusting, because they use the same tools they dont sterilize anything and they wash their tubs in 5 minutes I loved getting my nails done there by the owner name candy till I noticed that she was overcharging me every time I went there she would tell me the price up front and since Im a business owner myself she felt like she could overcharge me... every time I went it was just a different price .I have long nails and nothing on board said that I had to pay extra. one day she decided to do my daughters eye brows without asking me just felt free to do it and then charge me I had a complaint I told her about it and she got real rude and nasty I would never go back to this business ever again people like that do not deserve my money so ladies if you have to deal with candy please be aware that while you paying her shes your best friend but the moment you complain she becomes the most nastiest person ever find a better place to go and stop giving her your money

I am not a person to write reviews but fair warning. Recently went to Sunny Nails for SNS. I had nail tech Lucy. She did not listen to my requests. I had to ask her to redo my nails due to the dips and uneven coats of SNS. She did not shape them. Clipped my nails too short and added nails when I specifically said I wanted to wear them natural.

About 6 months ago I started coming to Sunny nails on baymeadows because my nail salon was sold and the new owners brought new people. Well I loved sunny nails but today January 9th 2019 I go in and my tech isnt there anymore. The new people they have hired rush you through, cant do any designs even as 1/4 as good as my tech that left could. Then I ask could I get a second top coat because my nails were bumpy and they tell me no its the polish you chose, if u got the gel it wouldnt do that you know. Let me explain how much business I do with them, twice a month I go in there and drop 100 sometimes 120.00 on my nails and toes. Oh and not to mention times Ive brought mt daughter too. Well today because Im just getting a standard full set not my ombre gel nails because Im trying to save some money, you cant throw a 2nd topcoat on for me. I would have even paid for it. Instead I had to go to Walmart and buy some OPI polish myself and throw another 2nd top coat on and what do you know its not bumpy at all. I will not go back to this place since the new people have terrible customer service skills and well are kinda rude too. Definitely wont go back and wouldnt recommend anyone waste there money there.

Over priced for what I got I would rate a zero if I could they must of put thinner or something in the top coat gel paint cause it peeled right off why pay extra for something that comes right off I asked simple nail tech questions and the tech was totally unknowledgeable about what I asked definitely wont be back

I purchased the Royal Pedicure.

I am giving this company a poor- fair review due to several reasons. They leave their doors open and the temperature inside the nail salon is too hot. The chairs are also not working in proper condition. I have been in 2 broken chairs on my last two visits. I typically visit every 2-3 weeks. They have also lost several really great Nail Technicians in the last few months and it is difficult to find someone who does their job really well. My next visit may be my very last visit and it is only to use a gift certificate that someone got me not realizing the quality of the nail salon has went from very good to poor. It is like sitting in a sauna in there. And the chairs being broke also kind of ruins the experience that I desire.

Well, i like this salon, my sister put me on, shes been going for quite some time now, tony i think his name is, does a nice job, is friendly and you dont feel rushed, i honestly like the quiet atmosphere, its never crazy busy. If you speak up and tell them EXACTLY what u want you wont have any problems.

Ive been coming here for about 2 years. Its a tiny salon, tons of gel colors except banana yellow lol but the techs all do an amazing job. The older gentleman does an amazing mani/pedi. Dont pass him up, I havent had designs done by him yet but a regular gel has lasted me much longer than usual without chips. The girls in here can keep up with the bigger salons too, Ive had very intricate designs but not charged an arm and a leg. I would love to keep this place to myself but thats just selfish. Come see these awesome techs!
