This was my first time here. I always like to try a place twice before leaving a negative review. I didn’t feel welcome here at all. The guy who serviced me seemed to have an attitude because I wanted a classic pedicure and he couldn’t up sell me. Then he was bad talking my friend and I in their language. That was very rude. I didn’t enjoy my service at all and I don’t think I’ll give them a second try. My toes look pretty though. I was going to give one start. But my toes are really pretty. Not so much for my heels 🤣🤣

I wanted to try this place because they sealed nicer than my regular place and had good reviews. Never again. The guy constantly tried to sell me products, or other services. The menu they handed me had a deluxe pedicure for $43. I normally upgrade from a basic, and it is usually worth it at other places. Not here. They didn’t have any option other than a gel manicure so I ASSUMED it was part of the cost. My mistake. The pedicure was like any other basic $25 pedicure but with gel and then he wanted to charge me $15 more for the gel. I tried to argue it, but ended up paying and leaving. I don’t recommend this place unless you want to over pay for basic services.

So I dont normally get my nails done so this was a mama trying to treat herself.My friend and I were greeted and told to wash our hands right away which was great. The woman doing my nails didnt talk much which was also great because Im not much of a talker and my friend and I were catching up.Now for the cons. There was no nail prep for my natural nails. While doing my nails she had to continue pushing back skin because she didnt prep them.I loved the ombre so thats what I asked for which looks great but after leaving I realized one nail was entirely too big for one of my nails (the other hand was the perfect size) and it was crooked.Looking at my nails more, it looked more sloppy than I realized, such as bumps, not filed evenly and another crooked nail.I guess I expected it to be more professionally done for $60 not including tip for basic ombre set.ALSO, some of the tools that she used she kept in an Altoids container and may not have been cleaned as she put them right back in that container and used all used tools which I found out is a no no. They also reuse the same towel over and over for all the clients and just shake it off. So as for sanitation, its a no.Definitely wont be going back. Wish I wouldve seen the mistakes before I left, but I will take them off soon enough.Disappointed.

I never post reviews, especially not bad ones, but do not spend your money here. I paid $50 not including tips for crooked and streaky nails. I got a full set with gel polish and they turned out awful. The entire process was extremely rushed. I went home and spent 2 hours trying to fix them myself so that they could be somewhat presentable. Very disappointing and a huge waste of money! Never again.

Had Id received exceptional customer service, I would have given 5 stars. This location also doesnt offer wine or cocktails with their premium services. Overall just satisfied 😌.

Omg i have been going to this place for over 10 months now. All the nail techs are great BUT!!!! KEVIN!!!! OMG, he is the best of the best!!! He is always on point!! With my busy schedule running 2 restaurants on both sides of town, i honestly don’t have time to even sit down and eat. Not only is he the best but he is so quick . I’m a firm believer in tipping when the service is awesome i always make sure i tip him $40 to $50 because he is that great!!!Thanks KEVIN

They were very gentle, explained what came with my service for the price and was very reasonable. They added small details to my service that made a big difference so I will definitely be back.

A Filling is the same as a full set. A $5 different which is unacceptable. If you a regular customer and come every 2 weeks. A fillings should not be almost the same price as a freaking FULL SET. I will be finding another nail salon to do my full set. They do great pedicures. But the manicures and full sets are unreasonably overpriced. Plus if you are already tipping them as well. Come on people where is the customs service.

This nail place over books. When it is busy they rush through your nails and any service you are getting done. If you show them a picture of a design you want you get a complete opposite end result on your nails. They swap you from different technicians because of eyebrows and lashes. They need to learn how to focus on one customer at a time. I have been coming to this nail place for two years and I will never go back I do not recommend this nail place for anyone that wants a good set of nails and looking for them to replicate an image

Cindy always does a great job with my SNS manicure! The salon is clean and everyone is nice. They have a wide selection of colors and Cindy is very creative when I ask for an accent nail design. Highly recommend!

I like this place it sometimes is a hit or miss. The pedicures and manicures are good when they are busy. When it’s slow during the after noon they do awesome. But they rush most of the times. I started coming here few years ago when they first opened i would of rated it 5 stars, but over the years it’s just not the same. Sometimes they can pull a fast one if you’re not paying attention with suggesting and doing services that you didn’t ask for so you end up spending more. Acrylics and fills are good but again if rushed they turn out looking rushed. Brow tinting is awesome and can definitely last for a hot minute.During this COVID they are definitely cautious. Follow the guidelines and have the place appropriately set up for safety.

I love this Nail Shop. From the moment I entered the door. It was very pleasing to my senses & it made me want to stay & have all my needed service done there. This salon is my third attempt at trying to find a solution for my nails. I like the atmosphere here. Clean, courteous, and they do an awesome job on my nails.

I would like to start off by saying overall this business is professional. The only exception is the one lady that they seem to have who does all of the waxing. She constantly says stop shaving your face youre going to look like a man while shes performing the wax. Makes you feel very embarrassed. I feel like Im paying you for wax just do it.

I’ve always had a great experience at this nail salon. I’ve been coming here for over a year now. Diane is my nail tech.

When I walked in I was immediately sat down to seat #7 and everything seemed fine. When the guy Kevin Vogt started doing my nails he said it was going to be 35 mins for acrylic nails and acrylic toes, so i was like okay maybe he’s just very good but NO. He rushed the entire time on my nails and even did so bad when he got to my toes that i had to call him out on it. He told me he could do the design i wanted but when it came time to do it made them look the complete opposite of what i wanted so i asked him to fix it. There’s so much more but moral of the story don’t go to Kevin because he is rude, he manhandled my nails, and wasn’t up front with what he could and couldn’t do when it came to my nails.

Very rude service I went in the other day and immediately felt judge right off the bat ! I never leave review but I wanted to tell anyone reading the review to not go there please for ur own sanity !! No lie I just went to get one nail fixed was not welcomed but needed a quick fix so I felt w it but never again.

This was the worst experience that I ever had before. And it was a older lady and she was rushing me and not giving me the same experience as everyone else. It was a younger girl had to tell her what to do and she had to go get a different tool to do me feet and she threw it down like she was angry. That was on my feet. Not only that she also did a horrible job on my nails. I wish I could post a picture. I should have just did it myself. I still have dirt in my nails and they are still unevenly. A Refund wouldn’t make it better because I was so ready to get out of there. 01/26/21. 😞😔😞😔😞😔

Less than a week later my nails are lifting. The entire service was truly rushed. $84 later and I have to go somewhere else to get my nails fixed. I thought I was sitting in one of the best techs chair Diane. I will NEVER go back. Too packed and rushed..,

Deluxe mani pedi was wonderful. A full hour of being pampered with massage and careful attention to detail. Massage chairs are great. Staff was all friendly and asks questions to make sure they understand what you want.

Super friendly staff and they do a great job! Very reasonably priced and I LOVED that they take a covid seriously - there’s plexi I glass between you and fellow patrons, everyone is wearing a mask, and they have you wash your hands upon entering. My nails look great thanks to the super nice employee Holly. Highly highly recommend if you’re looking for a well priced, clean, professional, friendly, and safe place to get your nails done!

I wasn’t happy with my last visit at this salon. I told the girl I wanted pink and whites even showed a picture. I ended up having 5 people asking me what I wanted. I was frustrated with saying, pink/ white powered and showing the picture over agin. I wanted her to remove the tips so I could somewhere else. A older lady told me to go without taking them off so I ended going to a salon and getting a way better price and the use the tips . I will not recommend this place as they over charge and they rush to do things. The worst place with the nastiest attitude .

The owner Cindy, is so professional. She ensures that you are helped as soon as you walk through the door. I enjoyed my pedicure and fill-in, she takes her time and doesn’t mind asking questions to ensure your experience is great! I would encourage anyone to go to Galaxy Nails, they are all professional and their work speaks for itself.

Recently visited the salon to receive a pedicure and gel manicure. I wasn’t too thrilled about my pedicure. The paint wasn’t applied neatly and the tech filed my nails in a oval shape. After my pedicure I was directed to a male nail tech, as I am walking up I overheard him saying he doesn’t want to do my nails. So I decided not get a gel nail manicure and receive a regular manicure/clear polish (I was short on time). He gets up, grab my purse, and places my purse on the floor, on the other side of the shop. Then proceeds to sit in a pedicure chair and watch television like he’s at home. I paid for my pedicure and promptly left. I refuse to continue to do business with any establishment who treats me like an afterthought/bother. When he placed my purse on the floor I took it as a sign of disrespect. He couldve placed my purse in the chair. In addition, I guess a regular mani/clear polish is beneath him?!? I’ll just learn to do my own nails. I will not be returning.

First time I went it was great..went on a Saturday and they do not have a good system in place. Was taken to the chair for a pedi and was promptly ignored. Others came in after me and got serviced before me (no appts taken on the weekend so that was not it). When she finally took care of me the job was rushed and she this thick nail polish that smudged even after 3 hours.

My nails come out shaped nicely and they take a good amount of time and care on them. This time I did the SNS on my real nails. Im definitely loving how wonderful they came out.

Fill in was good however I was overcharged. Fill in was supposed to be $50, was charged $60. French gel polish coming off after 6 days.

The nail techs are nice. The nails look good. I had the exact same gel nails done at B Q nails for $30.00 cheaper. I get one accent nail done and the tips painted.

They charged us more then what they quoted us.. My manicure is poorly done there is monomoer on my fingures the polish is sloppy and can be seen through the way she put it on my nails makes them look a week old.

I been going to this place for months. Ive been charged the same price for months. Today I was charged much more for the same service that I usually get. I brought this to their attention and they were very rude about it. I told the lady that I would like to show her what I been charged in the past and she just kept saying you need to pay for this now. I cant. Last time Ill be going there.

Just to hood for me, the clients be fighting, spraying pepper spray etc.. and the Manager (female type) always has an attitude.. yup I’m done😐

He took his time and made sure I liked everything he was doing. The salon is also very clean and they have a ton of color options. Will definitely be returning to see Kevin.

This place charges tooooo much for all employees not to know how to do acrylic nails and pedicures. I paid $35 for a fill in and the man changed to whole shape of my nail. I paid $40 for the pedicure, she applied the acrylic to my bid toe nailed sooooo thick. Never again!!!

I’ve been going here periodically for about a year now, the prices have always been fair but that’s changed recently. Their prices have now gone up, which is concerning because their service typically isn’t that great. Going here is a hit or miss because there are some really talented and professional people, but there are also some that are very lazy and rude as well. I paid 80.00 for a basic gel manicure and pedicure, and considering my nails look sloppy and uneven that is ridiculous.

The guy who started to do my nails ran the drill/sander so hard I pulled away 3 different times and yelled out loud once. He was more worried about going outside to smoke than taking care of me. He didn’t want to help me achieve what I wanted and he proceeded to tell me “it cost more money”. Well yeah, I know. I already have dip nails with gel paint. I’m willing to pay. I did not see any prices posted.. I felt I was rushed so, I left with nothing except my dip removed. I was so excited they are in a prime location for me. I will not be returning.Bad customer service and no pricing.

Worst pedicure ever! This elderly lady was rude! She pulled on me roughly. Did not ask me nothing, color, gentle, nothing. The massage was frustrating. All she did was slap the oil and lotion on. Thank you Henry for saving me. I DO LOVE MY NAILS!

Worst place to get a pedicure everything was fine until he RIPPED my ingrown out on my toes which then he turned around used the cuticle cutters from ANOTHER CUSTOMER to cut my ingrown which is now infected and numb Will never give my money to these people again!

I came here for the first time after a bad experience at another salon. The lady was amazing. She took care of my ingrown nails and did it in stages so it wasnt so painful. I changed my mind on my colour I chose and she was very professional and accommodating.

This establishment is VERY CLEAN!! I very much appreciated that every single use item was brand new and thrown away after use, tools were clean and tub was properly cleaned. Customer service was great. Henry did my pedi and he was awesome, AMAZING massage and great polish job! Today was my third and final visit to this place. Every time I visit, the staff are always rude. I love the quality of their work. That part is great. The way they handle customers isn’t. I came in and asked for a bottle of water because I knew my allergies would get the best of me. I was told they don’t offer water due to COVID 19. I said okay that is fine. They all rushed over to me to check my temperature and asked me to sign COVID 19 forms. From a business standpoint, I understand. However, I take my clients temperature at the door, not if they begin coughing. It was embarrassing how they made a scene around me. I am a business owner myself and would never handle my clients in a rude way.Check out Davi nails in Walmart. Much better customer service and experience.

I was very dismayed with the customer service here...I had previously spent over 200$ in services in 1 setting w/a friend. I recvd a gel dip on my nails. Normally it should last 2 weeks at least. I go back to this shop to get a repair fter only 3 days. First I am ordered to sit in my car for 15 mins because they are servicing full pay clients first. Then once I sit down for repair, I am informed with attitude that I must pay $10 for repair. Good customer service would be this time I fix for you - next time there is a fee. I have patronized this business and supported for awhile. I feel undervalued and unappreciated as a customer and I will never take my business there again...just rude and no empathy whatsoever.

Mrs. Cindy is amazing. Excellent customer service from the moment you walk in. When you walk in, you are greeted, then asked to pick out your nail polish color or service of your choice with a Please and Thank you they move very quickly and effectively. I will definitely be returning to this shop. Very clean and well organized.

They have a HUGE selection of colors. The owners and workers are so friendly. Clean, organized atmosphere. And good music!

Worst service ever they didn’t understand anything that I was saying and I kept having to repeat myself multiple times and when I walked out I walked out with nails that were lumpy and uneven and glued to my skin when I didn’t even get glue on my nails when I asked for a refund for my nails they told me they don’t do refunds that they will just fix it and I was there for three Hours Worst place ever!!!

This visit was,horrible. The tech was afraid to touch my feet and only pretended to file my nails. They look like claws. Was very disappointed. Seriously considering finding new place to go. They didnt even Polish my toes. Do not tell them your borderline diabetic. I paid for the use of their massage chair, at least I got that while there. Other prior visits were ok, but this last one waste of my time and money. Was too mad to say a word when i left, felt way too ANGRY. THEY WERENT EVEN BUSY THAT DAY!!!

Cyndi was very unprofessional and rude. Went to get eyebrows done and because I waited for her to clean the seat off and she was saying to go ahead and sit down which I didnt hear her say to do...she snapped at me which I responded that she didnt have to be so rude and her reply to me was to leave and not come back. I will never go back again.

Compared to other places, prices are a bit much and like other places, you are nickel and dimed for actions that most include.

They switch up prices!!!! BEWARE!!!Ive been going to the nails salon for almost a year. Almost all of their techs are good no complaints on that, but today is the 2nd time that I have gone to pay and what Ive been paying for a year tends to switch on the day along with a different reason as to why the price is different. The first time it happened I thought okay maybe I missed something but ok. So this time it happened again. So, when I asked the owner she acted as though this is been like this this whole time and Ive been getting a hook up. Naw, I know what I pay for and been paying for since it totals $80 every 2 weeks. Now its $85 with some BS excuse. They DO NOT have their prices advertised so MAKE SURE TO ASK PRIOR TO GETTING YOUR SERVICE DONE!!!! I will not be going back to to the dishonesty of the business owners with their pricing. GOOD LUCK!!!

This is the best salon everI have searched high and low for a professional clean knowledgeable nail tech that uses quality products and takes pride in there art. I drive 45 minutes from Jax to Orange park to come here. Great job.

I went there a couple days ago. And I had the worst experience at a nail salon. My nails were long and all I wanted was them trimmed evenly and gel color. I sat down and the guy doing my nails was pressuring me to get more and more done. And I’m like no just my nails! He asked at one point round? I was like sure round nails I’ll try it. Not knowing what he considered as round. Once he was done trimming my nails I took a look at almost had a moment of flipping out. I’ve have never seen the ugliest nails. He trimmed oval. Ladies go google oval!! It was disgusting. And my nails are extremely short now. Then they wanted to put fake tips on them to fix it and at this point I just want to walk out. Another guy stepped in and tried to fix it. And filed the oval part down. And now I just have extremely short nails. And my fingers hurt bc my nails are never this short. They kept repeating they will grow back. I know that! But I didn’t pay $40 for you to make my nails look like this. Never going back! That place is a joke!

This is my go to place I’ve had ups and downs here but the outcome is amazing and worth every penny
