Like coming here. There is definitely a school atmosphere here and the staff and students are often visibly busy and overwhelmed, but it is easy to overlook once you are in the care of the students.Every student I have had work on me has been professional, courteous, and communicative. Their training reflects positively in their treatment of me.This is one of my Me Day stops and I always look forward to it.Please keep in mind these are students, not seasoned professionals. They do make mistakes. When it happens I just roll with it and let the students learn.

Very nice place and so affordable. The head lady here is classy and sassy. She knows her stuff and cares deeply for the students and wants the best for them. One thing for sure, she speaks the truth and tolerates zero disrespect. It should be that way. This is a school training for the spa industry, not the flea market. If you want that this aint the place for you. When you have high expectations, you should expect the most out of the kids and staff. Her spa was awesome and thats why it was number one for years! Been coming here for years, and love it! Cant beat it.

I went today to get a facial and a massage and enjoyed both so much that I fell asleep. I really liked how before my facial and massage, the students explained what they were going to do. I try to go as much as I can since they are so affordable. The instructors are very knowledgeable and always check on their students to ensure everything is being done correctly. I recommend Parisian Spa Institute to all my friends and family and they all enjoy when they go. For anyone that hasn’t visited the school yet, give them a try and enjoy the many services they offer.

Ive been coming to Parisian Spa Institute for so long that it feels like the owner and staff are family. The owner is such an amazing woman and should have a business academy where others can learn from her. She does so much for people and has helped many in their time of need. She doesnt brag or record what she does for others so that goes unnoticed. A lot of her staff have been with her a very long time so that speaks for itself. Its bothersome how some people live just to post negative reviews about businesses. This is a school where students want to be successful in a field they are passionate about. So if there are any issues or concerns, call the school and attempt to resolve the matter before posting a negative review. The same people that try to harm the reputation of a business will understand one day if they ever make it to own thier own business. Its hurtful to any business that they werent given the opportunity to resolve the issue. I recommend the school to everyone and I tell people, dont go off the reviews since some are just hateful lies. I tell people give them a chance and make your judgements based on your experience. PSI is a great school and the services offered are amazing and so affordable.

Parisian Spa Institute is an amazing school! From the services that are offered, the great prices, and awesome staff. The owner of the school is always going above and beyond for the students and clients. I try to get my nails, facials and massages at least twice a month. The owner Ms.Linda is so sweet and is always doing something fun for the students. Some students are more advanced than others based on when they start their program, but they all leave feeling confident and like superstars when they graduate. I recommend everyone to check out all the services the school offers and they’ll end leaving like a Queen/ King.

I will be a recent graduate from Parisian this week and I just want to mention how much I loved this institute!! I am enrolled in the skincare program with Ms. Lisa and she is 10/10 educator, mentor, and human being. Her class was always educational, fun, and consistent. She ensures that each student leaves her class with extensive knowledge, a love for the beauty industry, and a new family. Beyond just how amazing my instructor was, every instructor and faculty member at Parisian is extremely helpful and friendly. You will develop strong bonds with every person at this institute. UPDATE… still see that this place has horrible reviews and not worth the trip. There’s absolutely no customer service nor decency or respect further customersThere needs to be a negative button here. I had an interview to go to on Thursday which I did not make because I have a very important family emergency!! I just got to my indeed app today to see that Linda left me the most rude message ever. For someone that deals in customer service and quality care the way that she responded to me makes me glad that I didn’t go into the interview to work at a place where people don’t understand family emergencies and life happens!!

I love this school and grateful that Mrs Linda accepted me into her school so that I can pursue my dreams of becoming a Full Specialty Esthetician. Im a hands on learner and happy that I chose this school. My instructors Ms. Hill and Mrs. Lisa gave me all the tools needed to succeed and be confident in my abilities when I graduate.

The owner of the school is a professional and has over 20 years managing in a medical environment prior to coming to the school. Recent one star reviews are personal attacks and uncalled for and really not decent thing to do. There is a grievance policy at the school and all the student had to do was follow the rules and follow the grievance policy because her issue was not with the owner was with her teacher. But now she is talking the owner is a very kind woman who has given much to this industry and lobbies for this industry. Irrational behavior It’s completely unacceptable and I’m sure she’s going to handle it legally as soon as she can. But shame on them shame on them.

Edit: Horrible experience. I got what I thought was a good deal for a manicure/pedicure and the result is embarrassing. I had to keep pointing out the missed spots to the girl doing my nails and I just got tired and stopped bothering. A child could have done a better job at a basic mani-pedi. It’s a school and I was willing to let someone train on me but not someone who doesn’t even know the basics. I was done an hr ago and already one nail polish is ruined. Never again. This place isn’t even worth it, not for a cheap price, not even if it’s free.I’m “cruel?” For leaving an honest review?? What was ‘destroyed’ was my cuticle on the very first nail she did, I bled and my toe has been hurting all day but I didn’t want to make her feel bad. What is ‘cruel’ is that you let your student who was obviously not feeling well, service a client. Not to mention that there was no instructor checking in on her progress at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of the service so not sure where you get “I was very happy.” I have so much more to say about the lack of sanitization but at this point, neither your school nor you are worth it. Take care.

Do not have the proper Tools to dry hair!!! The basics. Charged me for washing my hair and couldn’t complete the Job. A waste of time and still hair looked a messed. Addressed it with the instructor and she refused to fix the problem. The saying is “you get what you pay for” so true.

This is a school so its not as quiet or secluded as I desired but I did receive a facial and diamond microderm from Janasia. She was well experienced and professional. I received a spa pedi from Robyn. I loved Robyns work and professionalism. I even had her give me a gel manicure 💅 later which I LOVED. Be careful tho because the instructor assigned a young woman to me who had NO clue what she was doing concerning my manicure. Not cool because these services are paid for.

I definitely enjoyed my day off with some pampering and a fine meal. Great everything but the weather was yucky all day.

If trying to make a simple appointment over the phone is an indication of their in-person services, Ill PASS! The person that answers the appointment line was abrupt and then placed me on HOLD and never returned to the call. I decided to Not call back because 1st impressions matter.

I love this place so much. The owner rocks and all the students are so accommodating & kind. I have had 5 different services from sculpting at the medispa to a European facial with the students. So relaxing and way better prices than anywhere. I will continue to go back whenever I want to try something new. Mink lashes are next week!

My child attends this school and sad to say it is the definition of complete chaos! Extremely unorganized, unprofessional, lack of communication, and poor customer service. I spoke with several employees whom continuously go back on their word. I wouldn’t recommend attending this school to anyone run for the hills! Things constantly change without notice. The owner is money hungry and careless. The proper equipment is not supplied for the students who attend the school, don’t waste your time or money. Expect to buy your own products to use at the school! Your kits will be late to arrive(30-60 days into class) and always lack items your were promised at the time of enrollment. Speaking with upper management is a complete waste of time. Staff continues to lack wearing masks in the mist of the pandemic. Although one of the staff members tested positive for COVID-19 the institute remains open for financial gain, which is fine IF the proper CDC guidelines were being followed.

I had recently moved to Jacksonville (2016) when I found out about Parisian Spa Institute through the first nail tech that flawlessly did my nails. It has been a battle between time and minor setbacks for me to start this journey. So, personally me getting into this program is long overdue. It’s also the only school that offers the ACE Grant to ensure the quality of my education and make sure I pursue my vision of success! There’s always a sense of professionalism and respect in the spa environment and I can’t wait to be a student there .

If I could give the school a zero I would. Let me say I was excited at first to attend however as got into the program I realized no one really care. You teach yourself and learn from other student. There is no structure at all in that place. I attempted several weeks to talk to someone in admissions/ administrator no one ever had an answer no one ever call me back. Ms Linda and everybody else is going to appear nice and pleasant just to get you in the door she wants your money my hours was miscalculated and I was withdrawn no one didn’t even want to over over that with me. It has been so many fights literally fights at the school and the students was never withdrawn the student cuss smoke weed and none of them have been withdrawn I was polite and respectful to everyone. I guess I would have gotten further if I was rude. Please do not go there if you really care about yourself and career. I will contact the board of directors just to report the way things are handle and how they treat people.

Ive experienced the best customer service of all time. The services provided are affordable and reasonable. They are very thorough and explain all procedures in detail. They never leave you guessing. Im so impressed! What a remarkable team and company. They have a customer for life!

Ive been wanting to work in the skin care industry, and eventually owning my own spa, but did not have the financial means to. The day I found out that Parisian offers the ACE Grant, I called and registered immediately. Jessica has been super helpful in assisting me navigate the registration process. Love this place! I was on travel from GA and needed a few things taken care of so I decided to check the institute out. The prices are awesome and the students and staff were very respectful. I got a full set of nails and haven’t put my hands down yet. I’m constantly showing them off and I’ve had plenty of compliments. I also had my underarms waxed, which turned out really great. The instructors Ms.Erica (both of them) are amazing and they helped the students professionally complete my services with ease. I’m looking forward to going back for more! This will definitely be my “go-to” spot whenever I’m in town.

I am so excited at furthering my esthetics career with Parisian Spa Institute. I’ve heard so many great things about the school & their different programs. Upon applying I was able to learn about their Ace Grant, which is amazing and also gives me a peace of mind on the financial aspect of this journey.

I schedule a tour of the school for their skincare program and the day that it came I totally forgot about the tour because I was bedridden. I called to reschedule and was spoken to very unprofessionally and rudely, Ms. Lisa has a ATTITUDE. She wanted me to file my FASFA and wait until they got it for me to reschedule my tour. I told her that I would file FASFA after I was scheduled for a tour. After I got off the rude call I decided to read more reviews on the school and while most of the customer reviews were great, the student reviews were terrible. I only read about 3-4 and it was enough for me to get that this school is COMPLETELY unprofessional and money hungry. I called a different school with a better rating and reviews, I saw a total different in the level of respect. Mrs. Linda you can that Lisa for me not enrolling in this school. (: Also, you can go ahead and try to remove this review but my father is a google guide so I’ll just have him rewrite it if you do.

I had such a great experience as a student. Mr. Gavin helped tremendously with preparing FA and also was great motivation to not quit after being involved in a car accident. I graduated feeling well equipped for the beauty industry.

I was a student here who recently graduated from the cosmetology program. As someone who had no experience with dealing with a post high school education institute there was a bit of learning curve and I quickly realized that there was quite a bit that I had to bug the front office about when it came to making sure I had all of my supplies and on time, they enroll new students every month so they have a million different things to keep track of at one time but a quick conversation before I started class in the evenings or over the phone before I headed to school went a long way. My skin kit was late and missing a few products but I was told it was because of the distributor and once brought to their attention they did what they could to remedy the situation. Other than that the instructors and administrators were absolutely incredible, wonderful people who have helped me beyond the scope of my future career in the beauty industry and I’m forever grateful for their patience and guidance!

First Visit at the Parisian Spa Institute. I rendered chin waxing services as a welcome-in client. I waited for about 15 minutes to have to services done. Staff were pleasant and I was approached several times to be sure I had been helped. The waxing experience was okay.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! The instructors Ms. Judi and Ms. Erica were awesome! The financial aid staff and admin staff, Mr. Gavin and Jesse were awesome! But the owner was horrible! I was a student here for 2 weeks and just couldn’t take it anymore. The place was dirty and run down, items were broken, not enough supplies, senior students on their phones and interrupting classes. It was very hard to concentrate and just wasn’t the place for me. Also I received a kit in the beginning of class, well me and every student there didn’t get everything we were supposed to. Apparently items weren’t shipped in time, so that’s fine but I’m not paying $800 in full for a kit and I didn’t even get half of it. When I decided to withdraw from the school, I was told to email the school what program I’m in and the reasoning for my withdrawal. So I did what I was instructed to do. I have screenshots of the owner fussing me out a WEEK after I withdrew and calling me a liar, telling me I need to get a life, I have no home training, I’m inappropriate, and I’m “slandering” her. How am I slandering someone when I sent a private email to the school? I never posted anything that was public for everyone to see. And even though I’m making this public now, it wouldn’t be slandering bc it’s TRUE! Mrs. Linda is so unprofessional and just wrong. When someone, whether it’s a client or a student says something she doesn’t like, she takes everything to heart and lets her emotions get the best of her and she goes off on people. Calling them every name in the book and is just flat out juvenile! Look at her responses to clients and students that wrote bad reviews. There’s proof right there. I will be posting this on yelp since I can’t post screenshots of her pathetic responses if anyone wants to see. Stay away from here especially if you want to be a student. They will nickel and dime you for everything anyways.

I received my esthetician license here and am currently enrolled in massage therapy. Its like family here! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable! Special shout out to Mrs. Cox, the lead instructor. She is a little fire cracker with a HUGE HEART! She genuinely cares and loves all students!! She inspires me! Also for those of you who continually post negative reviews, get a life... we are students, not experts. Also, the Director and owner, Mrs. Linda is honest and direct... if you dont want to hear the truth, dont ask her... she will tell you like it is.

I think this is a great school .The grants that they offer really helps a lot because you don’t have to worry about having lots of debt when you graduate from your program.I am really appreciative because saving that money really helps in the long run .

WHY is this place open in the middle of a national pandemia emergency? The vast majority of universities and schools are closed. The nations top epidemiologist asked Americans to stay home and limit contact with people. Yet this school REMAINS OPEN, its students are seeing AND TOUCHING clients. Students and faculty can get sick, or they can be ok and TRANSMIT the virus to their relatives at home. PLEASE CLOSE FOR TWO WEEKS.

Upon walking into Parisian, I was greeted by the beautiful owner Linda. As I was escorted over to one of the rooms to receive my service, I took notice to the cleanliness of the school and salon. Everything was absolutely immaculate and polished to shine. The service that I received today was one of the best ever, all while I was made to feel comfortable and that I was well taken care of. Do yourself a favor, and visit Mrs. Linda and her students at Parisian. They will definitely make you feel like the king or queen that you are.

I first went here to get a gel manicure on Jan.29 & the following day my manicure was already chipping then went back on Jan.31 to get it fixed because that was unacceptable even though it is a school. The instructor Gladys was very nice and didnt hesitate to say I can come back for no charge & a student named Brittney did an amazing job fixing my nails she definitely deserved her tip I gave, I will be back for more services in the future😃

I had a lady named Susie do my full set for me and she was very nice and sweet. It was her first time doing a full set and i could honestly say she did it soooo good!! Mrs Gladys has definitely been a great instructor for her. Mrs Gladys was also there watching over Susie and even giving tips on how to make my full set come out even better. This was my first time getting a full set too and it was a great first time experience. They were very friendly and we had a great conversation while getting mynails done. Thank you ladies!!

I was going to enroll in this school today. I didnt like a couple of things about my tour very different than other schools, almost like the guide didnt know what to say. She will just show you where the teachers are at that time and ask you at the end if you have any questions. I was more interested in the school because it is very close to me and has small classes. I just had one question I have a lot of friends that went to different schools and they were trying to give an answer but every school is different I wanted to double check. I had signed for a follow up call in five days from the tour. Never received a call so I called today because Mondays are closed. I am divorced my ex can not come into this country so for my son to see his father its more expensive I have to accompany him because he is 7 years old. He doesnt see his dad often last time will be four years ago this summer by the time I plan to let him visit only for a couple days but due to the drive I would miss a week. Thats not considered a family emergency so it will not be excused was the response I received. Thats like babysitting is what she compared it to. I take it to heart maybe because of my situation but I consider their bond an emergency I just cant afford for them to see each other every year. Deportation for driving without a license is not like babysitting. Its more like losing your family missing everything without dying.

Ive been 3 times now to this spa school. The staff is great. They give me the same massage therapist student every time. The owner is always there and so polite with guests. Ive had massages and facials. The only downside is they dont have private rooms for facials and they dont give you cover ups for the neck. So Ive had my shirt get wet. the products are good and I never breakout after using them.

Today was my 1st time got treatment here. I had Galvanic Serum and eyebrow arch. The student who did my face was Jessi, She was really good and it felt like the proffesional did it.For the serum the instructor did it and all students were around me watching the process. Which was fine.Overall it was really good and I def will go back here for another treatment.

Hi, Im a former student of Parisian Spa Institute for Massage Therapy and i can tell you from my experience there it was nothing short of amazing, Everyday I came to school it was terrific. I made a lot of friends and learned so much in my program that Im fully confident in my abilities to pass my MBLEX and start working as a massage therapist! If you are a student looking for a school affordable and one that will take care of you like they did for me then, I definitely recommend this school youre going to love it and the environment is great, the teachers are great overall, I truly am blessed to have found this school and to be helped by the staff here so much it couldnt nothing short of a blessing :)

I went in for a hair color, it turned out amazing and everyone loves it . The Teacher Mrs Erica consulted and helped the student through the whole service . I’ll be back For sure!

I truly enjoyed my experience at this school. I was in the evening classes, and it was truly like a family. There was only about 4-5 students in the evening, which meant loads of one on one learning with our instructor. I was in the skin program, and my teacher, Ms. Hill is such an inspiration - she is so knowledgeable and uplifting to all of her students. I learned so much from her in my time at the school and am so thankful for her support and words of inspiration.I also love how the owner of the school, Ms. Linda, continuously tries to improve the atmosphere, the services and advanced classes offered. She is very dedicated to her students to make sure they are offered all of the very best.Ms. Isabelle was also absolutely wonderful! She was there from day one until I graduated, cheering me on and being supportive.I highly recommend this school - the evening classes are wonderful and youll get so much one on one training and education. You wont regret it!

I got a mani/pedi done here as a Groupon. The girls were very sweet, but I wasn’t impressed with the actual services. I would’ve rather paid more to go to a regular salon and had my nails look nice. Not for lack of trying on their part, but my cuticles are in worse shape now, my nail polish peeled off the same evening, and I bled a few times and have two open wounds. I’d maybe try a massage there or something... but for nails, I wouldn’t go back.

I came in a toured the school, I’m graduating soon and looking into the beauty industry . The school is very nice and aesthetic . Everyone was helpful and welcomed me . I hope to enroll in the summer .

As a student at Parisian, Ms. Erika is an amazing skin teacher and Mrs. Cathy and Ms. Gladys are amazing nails teachers!

I first went for cut and dye ... and they were so professional and did such a great job - I went back the next week and received my first Keratin treatment. I love them!!! I have recommended them to several people at work and friends. Its a lovely experience and talented .... just love it!

Highly recommended.Parisian Spa Institute is the only school that gives grants and has a variety of salon courses.

I hear about this school, and I went to get a fills OMG! they look beautiful. the student took her time and she was very sweet. the Instructor was very helpful and very pleasant. cant wait to go see Adrian again.

Got a super sloppy gel polish manicure. The polish is all over my skin and cuticles. The instructor kept telling the student what a wonderful job she was doing, so I didnt feel comfortable pointing out the mistakes. My eight year old niece has painted my nails better than this..literally. Also, the place is super disorganized and not even remotely relaxing.

I went there for my face, deep cleaning & high frequency..it felt amazing. The student who took care of me was really good. The price is very affordable and I didn’t feel that much pain during the extraction of my blackheads. I’ll go here again

Holy cow at all these responses from the owner!! What the heck?! How cold are heartless could you be??? And just to think I was just about to pay this school 9 Grand in CASH for my tuition! Surely I thought to myself these people would be more compassionate and actually care about you since tuition is already so high! Heck No. I wont be giving these ruthless people a dime! I am shocked and appalled at the behavior of the owner.How can you talk to people like that?

Yes, this is a Institute School and my experience wasnt great. Appointment was for a 1 gel manicure & pedicure at 11am it started on time but I didnt leave until 2pm. Why? Correction had to be done and the school instructor corrected my toes. She also wanted to do my nail why not and ugh not polish right and dry completely. I couldnt give anymore of my time. She did apologize and I accepted it. I know this is a teaching school but the saying goes and still stands. You get what you pay for and I will not be back. Sorry not Sorry
