I went here about 2 weeks ago for a full set and They turned out so beautiful. I definitely had a very unique experience! I showed up as a walk in and they got me right in. I went during the storm and even with the power going on and off they finished my nails. I unfortunately don’t remember my nail techs name, but they did an awesome job. I was very impressed with the customer service and quality. I am due for a full and I cannot wait to go back!

Ive lived in the area for 5 years and totally forgot about this spot. My daughter got her first acrylic set and she absolutely loved them! We also got out brows done and love them as well. Definitely will return since its so close to home!

Very clean and nice! Immediately greeted my mother and I at the door when we walked in. Prices are reasonable as well and they have a great selection of colors, the pedicure i got was amazing!

3rd time I’ve been here, and I was overcharged all 3 times. I will no longer be bringing my business to this place ever again. Last time I came I got a pedicure, and a kids pedicure for 80$. This time I came I got a pedicure and my child got a polish change no pedicure and spent 90$. My grandmother asked for polish no gel and they put gel on her toes, and still charged when we said multiple times regular polish. Not professional at all. Don’t waste your money.

The lady was very rude and snatched my phone when she asked for the inspiration picture. She didn’t get even close to what I asked for and the next day my nail broke off. When I called to ask if they could fix it they told me I could come in the same day or the next and I told her I was working so I couldn’t she told me that was the only days I could come in for them to fix it.

I’ve come here a few times and everytime it’s a different price, it’s like they charge based on how they feel that day. I would love to come here if they didn’t over charge me and all 4 pedicures I bring when I come. I bring more business everytime I come & it doesn’t look great on me when I bring my family somewhere that overcharges for the same service we always get, or get charged for something we didn’t ask for when they confirmed we didn’t want that prior to them even starting.

I have been going for years and Ky (kae) Im sure Im spelling her name wrong! But she was awesome. I usually dont get designs but my son is handicap with two main disabilities and one of them being non-verbal Autistic. Since its April, its Autism Awareness month, and I wanted nails to show support towards it. If I can figure it out, I will post the design I went in with, and what I left with. She was very kind and very patient. I walked in just wanting a refill but due to my nails chipping I ended up needing to soak and drill it off. And that made her back track a little bit, she was patient and said no problem. I even offered to do the white nails with polka dots and she said she would try to draw the puzzle pieces for me. And she made sure she didnt hurt my fingers where I took a chunk out of them too. Sorry for the bandaids but youll see. Prices werent crazy, I didnt have to wait long, and being treated with kindness goes a long way.

Everyone is very friendly and you can tell they actually care about the quality of the nails. If somethings off about the shape or polish they always correct it without me having to point it out. They have a standard for their work and its refreshing to see. I have been going here for the past year for any services I need. I have found my favorite place in town that’s for sure.!

I called to see if i needed an apptmnt or if walk-ins were available. They answered and said walk-ins are available. Soon as I entered I was greeted(unfortunately not all places greet you right away). They were very good about social distancing and sanitizing stations after customers. Service was quick, but not rushed or poorly done. Their organization flowed so that it felt that people that came in did not wait long, if at all. The place was beautiful and clean. I got a pedicure #2 with gel polish, a fill-in and eyebrows waxed in and out in less than 3 hrs. Every employee I encountered had pleasant attitude. I personally interacted with three today. I will definitely be returning for future services!

The salon is not clean: lots of dust and I did not see any tools being cleaned. My nails were not done well. They were shaped oddly and not what I asked for.

This is my new go to nail salon! I’ve had a full set of gel nails, several fills and a pedicure. Every time they have been incredibly professional and I walked out very happy with the results. Kate is a gem. She is so quick, but her work doesn’t suffer because of her speed.

Eric and the other staff were absolutely some of the nicest people I’ve ran into within the salon business. They were very friendly and courteous. Listened to details. They did an excellent job on my sister and I pedicure. They also did my eyebrows, very articulate! I love that place and I will be back!! I will also recommend them to anyone!

The man working at the left front counter completely butchered my nails. Within two days one broke in half because he laid the powder so thin you could see through white powder to my actual nail and he didn’t even file down around my cuticles so my nails were attached to my skin. One of my fingers he did ombré on looked like I had a bubble mound for a nail because it was too thick. And I had a full gel powder set done. I went back to ask the owner to take off and re-do my nails she refused and said he has to re-do them because he already took my money. I left because I don’t have time to waste getting my nails butchered for a second time I have to work. I would have been a happy frequent customer if she just did what I asked. I was there at 9:30am when they opened she didn’t even get there until after 10am so I waited and was willing to wait. I’ve been getting my nails done consistently for three years in Wilmington but I just moved here and this is my worst experience at a nail salon by far. I should’ve never paid for services let alone tipped the guy but now I know better to complain at time of service but don’t worry I won’t be back here.. you’re welcome. And your responses to reviews on here are extremely rude and bad for business. I wish I looked y’all up before coming.

It was not because of her work, but it just wasnt for me. I didnt want to ask to switch it because she took her time, and who wants to be that customer? But, she was kind enough to take it all off and re-paint them with a new color🥰💕 with no ifs, ands or butts.These nails are definitely the best I have had.Some places make the acrylic thick and bulky, and do not paint the nail all the way. Not these.I also had a pedi which was 👌🏻If yall havent tried them since the new management do it. I went here before they switched and it was not the best.Thank yall 💕

Got my nails done on Friday afternoon and by Saturday morning 3 of them fell off. Mind you one of them just the color layer came off leaving me with just the extended nail they added. Had to super glue it back down. Now 2 more have popped off.

I absolutely love this nail salon. I’ve been going here for about 10 months and I go every two weeks. Customer service is wonderful, they treat you like family. They offer you drinks and they even have a five day warranty on the services. I have tried many other places here in Jacksonville but Color Nails is the best.

I always go here for manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow waxing. They do a phenomenal job. They used to play country music which wasnt relaxing to me, but I still went back because they do such a great job. Now they play normal spa music. I love this place. Everyone there is wonderful and sweet. They really value their customers too and treat everyone like family.

This nail place is very unprofessional. They all talk on the phone during service constantly. Also I was told a price for my nails and toes and the guy charged me more. I asked him about it and he yelled at me and told me “Are u kidding me... that’s not what I said” my family members on the phone asked me why was the guy yelling because he was sooooo loud. I paid and left and will never return.Quoted me 25 for nail with gel polishThen 15- for toes with gel polishOne he found out I was married... all of a sudden at check out he said35 for nails with gel. Normal polish on toes is 10 so 5 extra for gel according to him.A regular full set is not 30 there so if it’s only 5 extra for gel my nail should have been 25 like he said ORIGINALLY.Y’all get negative 10 stars from me

I really was hoping to keep using this salon but the last time I was in I just felt that I was treated a little rudely. I think they were busy and I was tired and out of it but still no reason to giggle at me with another customer. I work 12 hr shifts and wanted to treat myself but just ended up leaving and feeling a little upset. As far as quality of the nails, they were good, that was not the issue. I just wish people were a little bit more polite. It wasnt the pick-me-up Id hoped for.

Im writing this on behalf of what I seen in this shop today. This experience is not one I personally was involved in, but a witness to. The nail owner, Cindy, put a woman in the back and told her it would be a 10 minute wait time. The woman ended up waiting about 30 minutes before she got service. After the woman got service, she inquired into getting additional service, and Cindy told the woman that she would have to wait again although there wasnt any customers waiting for the nail tech that originally did the womans first service. After the woman declined waiting again, Cindy turned the shop into her stage to belittle the woman in an attempt to prove that she didnt tell the woman that she would be waiting 10 minutes, completely unprofessional. The woman who was being belittled was so calm and polite, and it was sad to watch this. It didnt make sense what Cindy was trying to prove. The woman was nice the entire time and didnt deserve the disrespect that the owner gave. A nail spa should never be a hostile environment.

I got a pedicure by Lina today and she was so sweet, very gentle, she did a great job. I actually fell asleep in the chair. I got a manicure by the owner (not sure her name), and she did a great job also. Everyone was so nice, asked me how everything was which I appreciate. New nail salon, super close to home, will be coming back soon! Thank you!

I have lived in Jacksonville for many many years. I finally had an awesome experience to rave about.I requested a full set after a bad experience at another place that damaged my nails 😖. Cindy saw the damage and advised me to take an alternate route so that I wouldn’t damage them further- “the dipping powder”. They are light weight, festive 🎄 and look amazing🤩. She was thorough, patient and KIND. ❤️I’ll continue to request her. 💅🏼Thank you Cindy!

I got a pedicure my first time there and it was Amazing. They were polite and attentive. Cindy did my design and I loved it!Today I went in for a full set. The man that did my nails had a bad attitude. I got gel polish that started to bubble as they were drying and he got an attitude because I asked him to fix them for me...smh I was paying $35 and wanted my nails done right. I would suggest getting Cindy to do them because his customer service was horrible. I dont think Ill be going back though.

I am not one to write reviews. I understand human error and that hey, accidents happen and sometimes people make mistakes. But due to an unfortunate experience with a male tech, I feel like I need to give a warning to those looking for genuine advice on this salon. He was friendly up until he learned all I wanted was to have my gel nails removed and have tradition polish put on. While popping off my nails with a fake nail, he cut deep into the side of my nail bed. It was an accident, yes, but it was because he was rushing to get to an impatient woman who came in for a full set. Although I was bleeding quite a bit, he offered no apology and continued popping them off. In the middle of this, he took a call on his phone and just had me sit there across from him while he leaned back and talked for about five solid minutes (perhaps it was an important call? Either way, Im a bit traditional and found it kinda rude and quite unprofessional). The impatient lady came over to tell him she could not wait (its not his fault- she was being unkind to the techs and I understand the feeling of needing to appease an annoyed customer) so he pulled out dirty soaking bowls and began to fill them with acetone. Acetone + cut = no. I was surprised and was going to tell him I could wait but then another tech took the impatient woman. To finish my story quickly, my paint job a rough to say the least and I was super disappointed. I want to reiterate that I am the last person to get upset about stuff and this review is sometime I have never done. While I cannot speak for the other techs, I wouldnt recommend the older male tech to any of my friends. I hope nobody has the same experience I did and that this helps anyone looking for quality salon.

I had an ok experience at this salon. While there, the technician working on my nails scraped my fingers with the drill file and cut me on four out of ten fingers near my cuticles. Once finished I thought I really liked the job but once I was able to further inspect it at home the nails are really bumpy and uneven. And there are bubbles in one thumbnail which show through. Overall the atmosphere and staff were very friendly and nice but due to the quality of the work I do not think I would go back to this salon.

My friend and I went here to get our nails done and the polish ended up chipping the next day. Their sanitation is also very poor, after getting a pedicure from here I developed a plantar wart on my foot. I know it’s from here because this happened during winter and was the only public place ive taken my shoes off. Not to mention the person giving me the pedicure was sick.

I have been to this nail salon before and have had no issues. Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with a nail technician named Andy. He is a middle age appearing Asian man, average build. He was very rude to me through performing my pedicure. He dryly and begrudgingly introduced himself and offered me a water. He used only gestures to communicate with me and clearly grew frustrated that I didn’t understand his directions immediately. I calmly said to him, I am trying to follow his lead, but it would be helpful to have verbal cues for what he would like me to do.Andy, obviously annoyed by my request, started to berate me, saying “You should know exactly what to do...how many times have you gotten a pedicure before?!” I was shocked. Two other technicians overhead the conversation, realized Andy’s unsavory behavior and apologized on his behalf. I asked the man his name and he responded “You don’t need to know me name!!!” Thankfully, another technician gladly told me his name. The response from the other staff implied to me that Andy behaves this way on a regular. I allowed him to finish the pedicure and he did an okay job.Unfortunately, there are many nails salons in the area to go to instead but I like “Color Nails”. Andy may have just cost you a customer. I appreciate the other young ladies stepping in, but Andy needs to make a complete change in his customer service tact.I will update this review if I do ever decide to return. I will be sure to request a different technician. I hope you do too.

For the future customers that are interested in visiting this salon PLEASE first take a glance at how the owners respond to those who have left reviews bout their experiences at this salonin in the past. The consistent rudeness in their responses online speaks volumes as to how you will be treated in person.Specifically by Tina, a newer nail tech that blames customers for her inexperience. Ms. Tina and I had a communication issue where Ms.Tina explained to me that she asked me if I had gel polish on my nails and I responded yes. I do not recall communicating that with her at all, because I was initially being serviced by Sidney the owner and she was assisting me with my belongings to guide me to my seat in the back.Ms. Tina was on her phone the entire time (which was not a problem) because I was getting my manicure done by the owner. But I had no clue who was servicing my feet until Ms.Tina sat down after I was guided to the back by the owner.Regardless of my response to Ms. Tina, the HEALTHY way to remove gel nails is to BUFF not DRILL the nail, apply acetone and a cotton pad with foil over the nail to remove gel polish. Ms. Tina proceeded to drill my nail for a considerable length of time and then finally asked me if it was regular polish.When I confirmed that it was regular polish she proceeded to blame me and say that I couldve broken her tool.First of all Ms.Tina let me tell you something about customer service and your JOB!!!! You dont blame the customer for YOUR neglience on not being able to properly identify the difference between nail polish laquer and gel polish. Also, I am not a nail technician so I do not know the specifics on what damage can occur to your tools, thats why I pay what I assumed were to be professionals to do it.Your tone, attitude, and hospitality was not professional by any means, and the owner of the shop did not do much to resolve the issue.I have no intentions on trying to damage your tools at all, andif I wasnt met with such attitude, I would have been able to calmly communicate that with you like an adult. But no, Ms. Tina cut me off and did not want to listen.So, Ms. Tinaaaaa and I say this from the bottom of my heart. Find what you are passionate about doing in life, because sis this cant be it.

This place is horrible me and my friends went in and they were very rude about the way they talked to us and handle business. Once they started doing our nails it got super crowded so they started rushing on it and did a horrible job. They didn’t paint or shape my nail right and there is acrylic under my nails and my acrylic and polish are chipping on the side. My friend got gel and you could see the brush strokes in her polish and it chipped as soon as we left. They didn’t clean around our fingers to get the extra polish off and they were rushing us out. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s horrible and the staff is very rude. They don’t know the prices so they just make u pay whatever they want you to.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE. I had such a bad experience at this Salon. The lady that shaped my nails was good but the other lady that did a french tip was terrible. The lines were so sloppy and ugly, then I asked for rhinestones and matte finish but they put the matte finish on top of the rhinestones too which was not good at all. So, I told her I didnt like it and she put some liquid on top of the rihinestones to make it shine and she dropped some on the nail too. Then I asked to get it all removed and just get one color since that is almost impossible to mess up. I asked for my money back since I had paid extra for matte finish, french tip and rhinestones but they said NO. Stole my money basically. If you want a nice design please go to Aloha Nails. They are the best.

Hi! Im Dawn I moved to Jacksonville to live with my niece Altaira last year. She turned me on to Color Nails, and we will not go anywhere else. We love it there. We get pedicures, manicures, and eye brow waxing regularly. The whole staff is very friendly, and very experienced at what they do. The atmosphere is very comfortable. They even offer you a drink and play relaxing spa music. I get acrylics still while my niece gets the dip Nails. Back home inChicago I would have Nails popping off, or to thick, and even mold under the acrylics yuck! We never have any problems here. My favorite nail tech is Henry for my acrylics he is the best, and funny. My niece Altaira loves the way Cindy does her nails, and will wait for her if shes busy. The girls who do the pedicures are awesome as well. Our eyebrows always look great thanks to Cindy. I would give Henry Nails 10 gold stars! Thanks Henry Nails!......Dawn & Altaira

Shout out to Cindy and Michelle at Color Nails on Western, who came to the rescue after I experienced a $115 travesty with another Jacksonville nail salon.I enjoy pampering myself and being cared for by professionals that care about me and who actually love what they do for a living.We had wonderful conversation in a relaxing atmosphere.My advice to first time vistors or anyone who claims to have had a bad experience, be nice and respect cultural differences:1. If you smile and speak nicely to others (preferrably using their name) then they will smile back and be nice to you.2. Speak calmly and clearly with certainty of what you want. (Shape, colors etc. of your nails)3. Discuss cost before and as you add services to your experience.4. Be mindful of your accent and respectful of theirs.Make an appointment with Cindy for your nails or Michelle for you Mani Pedi experience. I needed a fill, I usually go to Bryan’s nail salon by the big Walmart on western but forgot he is closed on Sunday so I decided to give this place and try and I definitely regret it. I called before I came to see how long the wait was I was told 10-15 minutes, I waited for almost 2 hours then finally I was called to sit a Henry’s desk he’s the owner so I figured my nails would come out good. But that was not the case when he found out it was my first time here he starting apologizing every 10 minutes for me having to wait that long and asking if I wanted something to drink..that didn’t start until after I told him it was my first time coming here, so if I didn’t tell him it was my first time here pretty sure he wouldn’t have been so apologetic. Now to my nails I came in and they were coffin which is what I wanted to leave with but I left with uneven square nails, the polish chipped the day after and the acrylic around my cuticle was gone as well the day AFTER I got my nails done. So I called and let them know that I need them fixed but would not be able to come in until that Friday due to me getting off late and Friday is my only off day. So Friday comes and I wait almost 2 hours again to get them fixed, the owners wife only fixed 4 of my nails and refused to shape them all correctly so they can all actually match unless I paid $20! Why would I pay for y’all to fix your mess up ? So I walked out with some square and some coffins nails so of course I’m unhappy again. So obviously I will never come back to this place the owner can’t even do nails right.

This place is beyond terrible the service is so bad they rush and dont take there time and the people but into your conversation. They also talk bad about you when you are right in front of them. I definitely wouldnt recommend this place to anyone they make up the prices right on the spot so you dont truly know how much you are paying for and they will leave nail polish on your fingers or acrylic underneath your finger nails this place honestly is terrible if they allowed you to put -10 stars i definitely would select that but my advice is dont go here unless you want to be charged a lot and get bad service

I got my nails done 2 weeks ago by Jennifer and she did a awesome job got my nails done by a different girl and 2 of them were cracked by the time I got home so I went back this morning to get them fix Jennifer was there and did a great job fixing them at no charge thank you so much Jennifer

My nails looked good but they include their tips in with your nails and try to charge you for every little thing, they do not have good customer service. Not going back.
