Dont fall for the other reviews, this facility was recently taken over by someone that has no idea what they are doing. The techs are very inexperienced, they do not use proper safety techniques, nothing is sanitized, and they will overcharge you. If youre looking for a nice, relaxing manicure or pedicure I recommend trying ANY of the other salons right down the street.

I tried this place in December and refuse to go anywhere else 😊Eric is the best nail tech and his nail art is magnificent 😍 The guy who does feet is the best at doing feet.I will never go anywhere else.Their prices are kinda high but its well worth it.I only have to go once a month.My nails dont pop off or loss their shine.Go see them,you wont be disappointed 👍🏼

The owner Don is the only person I will let touch my nails. Warning: DO NOT LET ERIC NGUYEN DO YOUR NAILS! When I sat in his chair he was rude. He burned me multiple times with the nail drill and when I would say “ouch” not once did he say sorry or even take his time to be careful and not burn me again. Also, it’s been less than a week that I’ve had my nails done and my nails are already lifting.

The only person who can do my nails here is Eric. He’s awesome and does quality work. My nails last at least a month which is great and saves me money in between fill-ins.

Kenya is the BEST if you want high quality nails.If youre cheap and used to $50 sets this aint the place for you. This shop produces ART hunny.

My regular nail tech was on vacation so I tried this place out. I got my nails done by Don. The length, shape, and thickness were all inconsistent. My nails were rushed and quality wasn’t great, acrylic was left under the nails and the design was sloppy. No attention to detail..maybe since I’m not a repeat customer? I’m used to paying $100 for sculpted nails but not for tips. How can you charge $100 and the nails aren’t even sculpted?! Giving 2 stars because they look decent at a distance. Not a total waste but not worth $100.

I booked my appointment and paid a deposit for service. I was sent a message the day before my appointment to cancel due to Don being injured. I was perfectly fine with cancelling and rescheduling, however, he never rescheduled. I texted and even messaged him on Instagram, and never received a response. What makes matters worst is, his well know clients were booked and rescheduled that same week. I never received a text, phone call, message by Dove, absolutely NOTHING to reschedule. I had to call my bank to dispute the charge for the deposit. If it were my fault, keep the money, but you’re not even trying to help. The reason I booked with Don is because I went to him when he first started out so I was comfortable with his work. But I’ll NEVER book again because that was unprofessional, VERY!

I’ve been a regular for awhile and to say that service has gone down hill is an understatement. Every. Single. Appointment I make gets pushed back or canceled. I’m so over it. If I pick a time for my appointment it’s because that’s when I’m available. Getting a text later the night before being asked to push my appointment back 6+ hours is unacceptable. I love my nails when they’re done but constantly having my appointments pushed back is frustrating. I hate that I’m going to have to find another shop but after months of this, I have no other option.

Had my nails done to match my hair. Which is black light reactive super awesome!! They have all sorts of cool Gel designs. Manager of the shop is super nice always makes everyone feel welcomed.

I have been going to total nails for about a year. I had a bad experience in the beginning but the owner Don made it right. Don does the best nails ever BUT I will not spend my money or be loyal to a business where your appointments arent kept and when you cant bend to their flexibility, you are talked to nasitly. It wasnt the first time Don had said something slick to me and for that reason I will not continue to spend $100+ almost every time I walk into the salon. Again, DON DOES GREAT NAILS but the purpose of me making an appointment is to accommodate my schedule. When you miss an appointment with Don, he doesnt like it and may not do your nails again. So the same way he expects you to keep your appointment, he should do the same. He rescheduled my last 2 appointments and I did with no problem. My last appointment was set a day before my vacation and 10mins before my appt time, he canceled(yet again) this time he started he had a flat. He tired to reschedule me for late later in the day and that just didnt work with my schedule and when it didnt he replied Well, like I said Im not gone be able to make it.... That was enough for me to move on. I will not continue to spend my money where my time isnt valued as if Im sitting home doing nothing all-day. I work full time, college full time and run my own business but he could care less about that... Yet Im supposed to care about his time.... Again, Don does great nails. I would not have ever sat in another nail techs chair BUT I will not be mistreated or made to feel any kind of way.... When Im spending my money with YOU!

Got a pedicure done it was okay but seemed rushed. The back of my heels are sore the guy was ruff. He did my daughters manicure rushed through it as well . It was our first time but we wont be back. I paid for gel polish and its peeling right off my daughters fingers. So disappointing spending money on something that doesnt personally make me happy.

Total Nails is amazing! I got a full set acrylic manicure from Eric and a pedicure from Vee. They were both lovely people and their service was great. Eric gave me the best acrylic set I’ve ever gotten! The atmosphere was relaxing and I got exactly what I asked for. I’ll be sure to keep coming back!

My nails always look great, but they definitely need to work on customer service. I Get rude vibes every time and I personally think they are way over priced! I have been getting my nails done for a long time same quality in Miami and other places in Jax that were cheaper. The location just happens to be right across the street and it’s convenient. Also everytime I have an appointment I’m normally waiting 20/30 mins after my appointment was scheduled.

Super happy that I found this place!!! Nail tech Kam did great on my nails! She took her time and made sure I was happy with each step before continuing! Nails will last a long time! Well worth every dollar! She now has a lifetime client!

Paid $28.00 for pedicure.. stone massage was less than a minute. Laid hot towel over feet while he went to the back and finally comes back and starts to paint. I ask about the massage (we all love that part) he told me I had to pay$36.00 for a massage ?!?! Really!! Do not recommend!! Will not be back!!

Zuleyka was so nice and professional! She was very attentive to my needs and how I wanted my nails. I’m very picky about my shape and the thickness of my nails and she got it perfect! Such a nice and friendly person. I wish I’d found her sooner! 10/10 recommend! Thank you so much Zuleyka!

They told me to come in at 6pm then turned me away and said they were too busy and it was only two customers in there at the time. I was with my daughter I was so upset but I went across to Nails Blvd and they did a wonderful job. Screw this place and their lack of respect for potential customers.

One of the best pedicures Ive ever gotten right here at total nails. Definitely the best leg massage and the chair massage is good too. Machines in good order and the nail tech took care to make sure everything was clean and welcoming. I feel comfortable coming here rather than worrying Im going to leave with a case of toenail fungus. Good business to patronize 😎

I love my nails Simone did a great job. A little pricey but worth it as she listened to my concerns, wants and needs. Atmosphere of the salon could be improved to be more comfortable and relaxing. I hope those are some changes they make in the future.

I got a lot of compliments about my nails. Good quality material friendly staff. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Zuly does a great job with gel manicures, I have been to her twice now. She is the first nail tech in Jax that I have been to that really prioritizes nail health. My nails were damaged from going to other salons in Jacksonville, and she explained to me what other nail techs did that was harmful and what she will do differently. She is careful when filing nail beds and is knowledgeable on maintaining manicures. Very kind, informative, attentive, and gives a great manicure!

Best pedicure of my life. 45 minute spa pedicure with salt scrub, lotion, hot stones and hot towel wrap. Very relaxing. Perfect fill on my nails followed by hot towels and lotion massage. I travel alot and rarely get to the same place twice, but my next trip to Jacksonville will include a stop at Total Nails. Clean, Friendly, reasonably priced.

I have been salon hopping for the past few months due to horrible customer service and horrible work. I was going to Royal Essence of Tapestry Park but forgot they were closed, they have good customer service however I lost a nail in a week and a half :(.... I googled nail salons in the area that closed at 8p because it had gotten a little late and ended up there. When I walked in I was warmly greeted, I got a pedicure which was the best I have had in a very long time the chair was awesome. After that was over I was seated for my nails to be done. The main thing I loved the most was they took their time and didnt rush and I must say they have me as a continued customer!

Waited over an hour to get a fill-in and toe polish. The young man who did my nails spent a lot of time on texting on his phone and seemed to be in a hurry to get out of there. He tried to finish my nails without using the buffer on them and then didnt put oil on my cuticles. When I questioned him about it, he said my nails were already smooth. I pointed this out to the manager (after he rushed out of the door) when she took over. She went back and did what he didnt do. If you dont have time to do the complete job correctly, dont start it!

I would not recommend this shop. Ive been there previously but they lost their best girl. Everyone else treats it like a chop shop. I had to go back about my toe nail polish FOUR DAYS later and they charged me for a polish change. Not to mention my shellac lifted two days after I left. So much for vacation nails... please learn the difference between cheap gel polish and shellac and be honest if you dont know how to apply it correctly.

There has been a change in ownership and I believe it is now called The Nail Don or some such thing. None of the previous staff are there any longer and the new staff (at least the person I got) did not do SNS well. The color is uneven and my nails look very thick. The young woman was catty when I asked about Von (one of the previous employees) and where she went. I had always been happy and very satisfied with my nails previously and now I will not go back. My nails were done one week ago and I am willing to go somewhere else to get them done now because my nails look so bad. I am so disappointed because the previous staff was quick and did a FANTASTIC job but that is history now. Save your money and go somewhere else especially if you want SNS. I know I will NOT return.

Wouldnt reccomend this place. The girl who did my nails was in such a hurry that my nails look a complete wreck. Not sure what she was in such a hurry for, but my nails look horrible. They are jagged and not filed down smoothly, theres paint missing in the corners on every nail. I definitely recommend the place across the street, yes it is a little more expensive but they dont rush just to get you out. And your nails dont look like s*** afterwards either. These people are money hungry and rush just to get the next persons money. Customer service is horrible too.

I went in to get SNS after finding them on Instagram since my normal nail tech was out of the country right now and I am extremely impressed. I had Zuly and she KILLED it! She did amazing in my shape, they are finally not too thick which is always a problem with SNS and she was very thorough and detail oriented and really took her time with them making sure every step of the way checking with me to make sure I liked everything. Zuly is my girl now!

Ive been a customer for awhile, however recently when I would go it seems there were short staffed so I waited for awhile and whats worse is I made appointments and would still have to wait. The last time I went I made an appointment showed up on time so she tells me she is busy so I said no problem i can come back. She tells me to come back in an hour so I do and again she is busy and whats even worse is that she tells me to come back tomorrow. thats when I said sayonara..this is not how you treat your loyal customers. I am sorry if your going to have a business, you need to have a full staff and dont treat your clients with such disrespect. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

They are friendly, until they make a mistake, than they catch an attitude. I agree with previous post, you dont treat loyal customers that way. They also re-use there acetona and Lord knows what else . I caught an infection from it !!! Horrible people out for money, money, money onlu

Very unprofessional. Went a few days ago, and she kept flirting with my husband.... Im sitting beside him. She didnt do my nails how I wanted, but was too far in flirting I guess. I wont be going back smh.

Very polite and friendly staff with a clean environment. The pricing is also fair. I give 3 out 5 stars however, because 2 out of the 3 times I have visited this location for a gel manicure the experience has been rather disorganized and slightly rushed. The staff has been accommodating, correcting an issue un the past but not entirely the most relaxing salon experience.

Very rude the guy that do feet only.... is very unsanitary, before he wash my legs of he put lotion on them. The owners are prejudices
