Apartments are nice, but customer service is awful. They never respond to me, via email or phone call. Charge mysterious fees to your account without notifying you or telling you what they are about. I wish the staff was better because I really like the apartment/amenities.

Lightbulbs go out every week, dryer/washer also breaks down every month. Staff is nice sometimes but also rude other times. Mysterious charges with no email trail to follow. Amenities are supposedly open with key FOB access but repeatedly are not. Valet trash is also unpredictable, your trash can get picked up right on time or not at all. Work orders get filled out in a timely manner but again, without any email or phone call for when maintenance will be there. If not home maintenance will still enter and fix the problem but not after opening all your doors and leaving them open and also turning on lights and leaving them on after they leave. Pool gets packed with careless stay at home parents that let their children do whatever they want, which gives zero access to the people who may want to use the main amenity that most likely causes the high rent rates. And to top it off management continues to change and I haven’t talked to the same person twice in the 9 months I’ve lived here.

I do not recommend living here. I moved out in April and have yet to receive my security deposit. I have called multiple times and left multiple voice messages and sent multiple email messages. I have not once received a response. The customer service is subpar.

WHERE IS MY SECURITY DEPOSIT AND REST OF MY RENT AFTER I MOVED OUT..They owe me 511$ and 250$ security deposit... 1000 time i called, they ignore me saying nothing and i didn’t receive my money. I am supposed to receive 750$ total from this apartment.. I maintained my apartment so clean and nice and they even said due to that i will receive my whole money i paid deposit. Its been around 5 months and no hear back. No calls or emails.

Cant reach ANYONE on the phone, EVER! And they do not return messages left with their answering service. Tried to contact about receiving a package and not only could I NOT reach anyone, I sent an online message asking for their help with the package, which they promptly refused from UPS. Thankfully, UPS called(see how that works Williamsburg, you contact someone asking for you help) and helped me re-direct the package. Luxury?? Maybe when they were first built but have gone DOWN HILL ever since. They had the chance to be the crown jewel of apartments in Jacksonville but apparently BASIC customer service is beyond their reach, so yeah, rent/lease at your own risk. Honestly, dont take my word for it, call either of the phone numbers and NO ONE will answer. I would say good luck, but thats for the possibility of quality, not a chance.

0/5 stars, DO NOT MOVE HERE, infested with mold, they do not care about their residents, had to leave after a month of living here. Lost most of our possessions, got sick from the mold and they made us pay rent even though it was unlivable. Worst apartment experience so far.

Lived here for a year. Great community. Kyleigh, in the office, is amazing at making sure you are taken care of moving in/out. Never had any issues with maintenance. Safe area. They have nice little events to help you get to know everyone. Fantastic amenities and central location in Jacksonville!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. AC constantly goes out and takes over a week to fix. It is currently 82 in our apartment and the staff could care less that you have a baby living with you and show no sense of urgency when YOUR WASHER FLOODS your apartment multiple times a year. Washer, dryer and dishwasher have had issues every few months, taking 1-2 weeks to fix. The staff never answer the phone when something in our apartment goes wrong and they are rude once they finally do answer. Been here two years and it gets worse by the day. Staff will roll their eyes if you politely let them know something is wrong or if you have a concern about something THAT YOU PAY RENT FOR ANYWAY. Cant wait to leave. The place went to hell once hurricane Florence hit and Christina (one of the only employees to care) sought employment elsewhere.

I contacted the Williamsburg place regarding my washer issue. And it took them for me to get mad and threaten to take it higher in order for them to fix the wall boards that got damaged from the water after the washer kept leaking for the second time. And my carpet to cleaned. They sent someone to clean it. But you can see the stain from the water damage. I was told that it probably won’t get replaced because they have other major concerns and my carpet isn’t one of them. Melissa doesn’t care about your maintenance issues and blames the maintenance crew saying it’s not her fault they haven’t taken care of it. She told me she was going to come over my apartment to see what the issue is and never showed up. Every time I call the office to speak to her, her assistant would say she’s not “available”.

This place is not clean and the property manager is extremely rude! They will show you a nice demo place with new appliances and features but dont be fooled because that is not what You will get. The grounds are always filthy and kids use gym, tanning bed, club house and other amenities like its a jungle gym. When you complain to the main office they will turn it around on you and say things like well we have had complaints on you as well which was funny because I had never been notified of a complaint until I called to complain about something, its almost as if they just do not wanna do follow ups so they will scare you into keeping quite. Also, good luck getting maintenance to fix anything! I havent even been here for half a year and I am already looking forward to moving!

Gated community is nice, but not the selling point. Amenities (gym, pool, game room) are a nice addition. Parking can be an issue depending on which building you live in.

If you want to be treated like you are a __ of __ instead of a paying customer than this is the place for you. Customer service is HORRIBLE. There is something seriously wrong with the management here. Everyone around me seems to be leaving and I honestly cant wait until my contract is up. This place might look nice from the outside but I promise you it is not what they make it seem. If you want to pay a high premium for rent, If you want your car to be towed ($200 for six miles), if you want to pay a fine for your dog poop, if you want your dog to be cotton swabbed, if you want low water pressure, cheap fixtures and appliances, if you want to be policed like you are the stranger in the neighborhood, than this is the PLACE FOR YOU. I wished I would have signed a short term contract, this place sucks!

Melissa Briton property manager does not deserve to be working here. They are unfriendly, over priced, dirty apartments. The owners needs to keep a close eye at their staff before their business gets ruined.

I was charged way too much for the security deposit to be placed into a apartment that had black mold in it, when I had a bank issue and tried to explain that my bank NFCU was trying to fix the issue I was made by management to feel like I was a lowlife, the price for the apartment was way over priced for how cheaply it was made, I could hear the kids on the 3rd deck pounding on the ceiling and when I went to management I was told to deal with it the first few times then finally had to get JPD involved and still nothing was done, I paid 1250 for over priced things and not to mention the gate was always broken and even when it wasnt broken anyone could get in. If you want to be treated like just a bank account and have people treat you with shortness and contempt behind their eyes then go right ahead and rent here, the tenants are rude and not very friendly and I am now trying to purchase my house through the VA home loan and due to the fact that I ended my lease early and so therefore I had to forfeit my $900 security deposit they then turned me over to a collections agency who has been harassing me ever since and has killed my credit score by 60 points. this place is a joke and trust me NOT worth your BAH, rent

From day ONE weve had issues! We pay too much to be dealing with broken stove TWICE, A.C. broke 3 times, carpet is buckling, dish washer leaked with first wash, loud neighbors, people out at the pool till 3am, its dirty outside near the breeze ways, and toilet broke...its literally been one thing after another and it has only been 8 months! Im so pissed and ready to move! Gate never works and its the main reason we moved here!!! Dont come here! This is the worst rental experience Ive ever had!!!

Service was okay in this apartment, however they were terrible at informing us of any discrepancies. We had a payment that did not go through, even though we had a confirmation number stating it was received, they didnt inform us of anything until there was already a late fee included. We decided to move out early because of a pet situation, so we had to break contract and pay the fees. We did all of that and was told that if there were any concerns that they would contact us within three business days by the property manager. They never contacted us but sent collections a bill that was never sent to us. They had an email address, two phone numbers, and a forwarding address, all accurate but instead of informing us, just sent it to collections, after my renters insurance was cancelled. We finally received the notice of payment, and its dated in June, however the envelope it was sent in is dated October... I have no issues with paying this, however it helps if I know about it. Horrible experience.

HELLO EVERYONE!!! MY NAME IS FAYTH JARMAN. I AM A REAL PERSON WHO REALLY LIVES IN WILLIAMSBURG PLACE APTS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. IT IS ALWAYS CLEAN ON THE PROPERTY. I DONT EVEN SEE DEAD BUGS ON THE PROPERTY. MY CHILDREN AND I LOVE THE SPACIOUS APARTMENT WITH MANY ROOMS TO RUN AND PLAY IN. IVE LIVED IN PLACES IN JACKSONVILLE BUT NO ONE COMPARES TO THIS PLACE. THE AMENITIES ARE AMAZING!!! WE HAVE A SWIMMING POOL THAT IS OPEN ALL YEAR, A MOVIE THEATER, VALET TRASH SERVICE (THATS GREAT FOR US WITH SMALL CHILDREN), A CAR WASH, BASKETBALL AND VOLLEYBALL COURTS, A BIG FITNESS CENTER WITH SAUNA, TANNING BED AND A GLASS PLAY ROOM WITH TOYS AND A FLAT SCREEN CABLE TV FOR THE KIDS. THEY ALSO HAVE A GAME ROOM AND SERVE US HOME COOKED BREAKFAST EVERY OTHER SATURDAY!!!!!!!! I JUST RENEWED MY LEASE AND IN THE YEAR THAT IVE LIVED HERE, I HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE PAYING MY RENT.....EVER!!! I PAY $995 TO LIVE HERE BUT IT IS VERY WORTH IT!!! COME AND CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!! GOD BLESS!!!!! P. S.- The complex had a drawing in February for Valentines Day and I won!! It was a $50 gift card to any restaurant in Jacksonville that I wanted. Again, I LOVE THIS COMPLEX N THE STAFF!!

I have lived in this apartment complex since it first opened. In the beginning it was nice they had dinners for residents every week, breakfast every Saturday morning ( and I mean good food not just cereal), they even made fresh cookies everyday and the kids coming home from school loved it. After about 6 months of living here I find out that EVERY appliance in this complex has been recalled from the makers, but the complex wont replace them, I spent 1 1/2 years having to open the balcany door, turn the overhead fan on full and the fan over the stove on anytime I tried to use a burner or oven because it would set off the smoke detector. Now I have ants coming in my second floor apt, the gates or always broken, the management is very rude and talk to their friends about anything and everything going on in these apts. So if you have an issue, everyone will know about it.The game room is a joke because everything is either broken or missing pieces. The theater room is only good if someone is nice enough to show you how ANYTHING works. When I first moved here you could reserve the gazebo by the pool if you wanted to have birthday, graduation, homecoming, any kind of party..cant anymore its a first come first serve basis.......so much for the kids. Oh and if you have guests, you are only allowed 2 per adult on the lease. When you move out they make you clean top to bottom and get the carpet professionally cleaned..then come behind you and rip up the carpet and replace it with new stuff. My electrical socket have started going out and they wont do anything about it ad ALL the light bulbs have to be replaced by you when you move out. That means the track light too. So it this place worth the money????? In the beginning yes....now?? NO!!! Management is rude and untrustworthy and between the ants, mold, low water pressure, recalled appliances, bad working AC units its really just not worth it...Why havent I moved.....fixed income, so when my lease ends in January 14 I WILL be out of here!!!! This place looks nice on the surface but between the management, the maintenance, the facilities and the tenants, it is not worth the money. The management is relatively incompetent - they cannot or will not address simple questions such as how to work the Blu-ray player in the theater room. They also pass off their responsibilities onto the tenants. For example, we got locked out of the apartment and called maintenance who said it would cost $50, cash, for an emergency entrance. We paid $60 and when we went to pick up our $10 change, the management said it should have cot $35. But instead of dealing with the discrepancy themselves, the management sent maintenance to speak with us. And that became a VERY awkward situation where maintenance came into our apartment and said they were being cheated out of money if we asked for our $25. That is NOT professional of management nor maintenance. We also requested that maintenance replace the burnt out lightbulb outside of our door but after two or three weeks, we replaced ourselves with a special, expensive bug-repelling bulb. A week later, that bulb was taken and another, regular had been installed. When we requested our bulb be returned, we were told maintenance had thrown it away. Less than two weeks later, the bulb maintenance had placed burned out, leaving our entryway dark. However, I dont feel comfortable asking maintenance to replace it. The common room has a pool table with torn felt and damaged cues, particularly the tips, and a shuffleboard table without sand. We requested that the cues be replaced and the shuffleboard be re-sanded but then took it upon ourselves to re-tip the cues and re-sand the table. Less than 2 weeks later, the cork tips of the cues had been picked off and the shuffleboard table stripped of sand, which speaks to the callousness of the other tenants as much as the management. Finally, our bike was stolen from infront of our apartment, including the lock and chain. This may have been the work of management or maintenance or random tenants/strangers, but in any case, it furthers our belief that this apartment is not worth the money and that will NOT be renewing our lease NOR recommending it to others.
