I am in my 3rd lease with French Quarter Apartments and am very happy with my overall experience living here. Although the apartments are not new, they are kept in good condition. Apartment grounds are kept neat & tidy. Management has been professional & responsive in every situation. Most recently while at work, my elderly Aunt had an emergency situation at the apartment & Terri (Property Manager) and staff were of incredible assistance to her. My Aunt was frightened and distressed more than they knew but Terri was able to alleviate her fears & assist her. Terri contacted me at work immediately and notified me of the situation. I feel this went above and beyond what is normally required and unfortunately expected of people today. Kudos!!!!!
I am in my second year here and absolutely love it! The ladies in the office are always so nice and helpful. Maintenance is fast! Anytime where I live comes up, I happily say where and am always recommending these apartments. Everything in my lease was accurate and the office has always been great! I plan on staying here for a while.
I was very pleased with my stay at French Quater. It was very quiet, and anytime I needed something checked out at my apartment maintenance & staff were very nice and got on the job immediately. I would recommend if you move anywhere in Jacksonville this is the place to be. Great Experience!
Nice people in office, they always have a smile and help moveyou in as soon as they can Also they give you a tour the apartment complex to let you know where everything is. Maintenance always responds to repairs as soon as possible and the grounds are well kept. It has 3 laundromats for use. It is close to downtown Jacksonville and several restaurants and convenience stores.
Maintained property well. Apartment was updated and very clean!
The apartments themselves are relatively nice and centrally located, the issue is the management of the apartment complex and how she conducts herself is where the issues arise. Any complaints logged will ultimately become you as the problem, without regard to the complaint being logged. Lleaking roof, thats your fault, call the police because cars are being broken into that becomes your fault, stop a drunk driver from totaling vehicles in the parking lot, yep your fault too. The front office conducts business in a manner that if you log a complaint of any kind you are the problem because you cause them to do extra work without regard to the tenants or their safety. While living there a woman was assaulted in the apartment complex block I lived in, of which she was significantly beaten on the steps by a man she was living with, and because my neighbor and I stepped in, the office considered us the issue for stopping the assault. A drunk driver totaled two vehicles in the parking lot, and when we called the police because the driver ran and hid in his apartment, we became the problem because we called the police. When renters would come in and listen to loud music all hours of the night that resulted in the walls vibrating for hours, and police would be notified, the office considered you the problem for reporting it. Any ability to ensure a safe home and non disruptive place to live is undermined by the apartment front office staff, as if they are forced to do more than smoke cigarettes in front of the office and take your money when its due, makes you a problem, and subject to your lease not being renewed. Would not recommend at all.
Big Brother is watching.Lived here a year. Felt kind of harrassed to the point I was afraid to come home for fear of notes on my door. I explained that I had been extremely sick and had a trip to the hospital, and so my apartment was an absolute mess (this was after they came in without notice saying that it was an emergency and my dishwasher was leaking downstairs). It was definitely bad, mostly clutter and boxes with some trash. I made sure to clean up all the trash items. They then gave me warnings to clean up or else, and took photos of my possessions while I was away. I got help cleaning from family (because I was still recovering) and it was accepted. New washer didnt work, got another warning about mess (which wasnt bad, just some full trash cans). Then later in the year, they ask me if my boyfriend is living with me (my car broke down so he offered to stay with me and drive me where I needed to go) which I explained. I am TERRIFIED that I will get in trouble because my car is still being repaired and I need his help.Management gets mad and tries to blame you if something breaks. One night while my bf was staying over, his car was broken into and had some things stolen. Another person in the complex was attacked by someone trying to take her purse. The Grounds keeper seems friendly, and a hard worker, but he will stare at you.
Management and the company that owns this complex are awful. They do not fix issues and blame the tenant. They do not return your calls and if they half way attempt your issue they will do the cheapest thing possible. Avoid at all costs!
I think it is one of the better apartment complexes
Poor. Several things were broken when I moved in, and the staff yelled at me, and claimed I broke them. I talked to several co-workers, and they said the same thing.Spent a week to get the air conditioning fixed, and now that it is fixed, the roof is leaking. Now management is blaming me for the roof leaking. The computer system require me to give them one star, but that is too much for them.
Would give 0 stars if possible.. Our unit was infested with mice and management wouldnt do anything about it. Then tried to charge us double for one month. Worst apartment management EVER - would never go back - would NOT recommend this place
I like living here.
