I just renewed my lease to reside here at the property another year. The location is amazing considering it is in the middle of Dallas- Ft. Worth surrounded by highways and tollways that connect to pretty much anywhere you need to around DFW. My childrens schools and daycare are nearby. My work orders when I have any, get taken care of promptly. I was even here during the winter storm and can thankfully say we were without power and water maybe 2 days while I heard from friends and family they were out for weeks. The property has gone through many changes but good ones only to make the property safer and continue making it better than the day before. Yes, I work for this property and can speak on both sides as a resident and part of the management company. Towing seems to be an issue for some BUT not for all. The rules seem strict but in fact they are helpful to most. We put our residents parking needs first to ensure they have space at the end of the day whether its a carport or open spot. We allow one spot per leaseholder as long as we see current insurance. Visitors can come and go as they please in visitors designated area within a 24 hour day after they register. We do charge a $5 fee after their third visit (resets every 30 days) and that is to allow others to have visitors and to make sure we know who all lives on the property since we do criminal background checks. This also helps make sure we are properly charging the correct allocated water amount to households. Pest control comes every Wednesday and rotates buildings and takes requests. If anyone here has a pest control problem they need to contact the office immediately. Communication is key. We are a multi-living community. Pest issues can come from neighbors, visitors, furniture, stray animals. I do not have pest issues. I found an ant pile outside my door and immediately asked for pest control and the issue was resolved the very next day. They come weekly to prevent issues and address them every Wednesday. If a deeper treatment is needed yes you and your pets and family may need to leave the house a few hours but otherwise they can only leave a safe bait treatment. Everything done on the property is only to make the property safer and nicer.
We have lived here about 6 month, we like that we receive reminders and updates every Friday where we see the changes management is trying to make and reminders on towing. Service request have been taken care of on a timely manner and we were sent an email days before the filter was going to be replace in our apartment and the whole property, we appreciate management being proactive.
PROS:I moved in exactly 2 weeks ago and I will be honest in my review. I have the largest 2 bedroom upstairs and the interior is very nice and the layout is gorgeous. The balcony is huge and I love that there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room. The water really get HOT 🥵 but that’s a great thing!!! If you have smaller children you must monitor this because this water can definitely cause burns. The office staff has been welcoming and quick to respond to emails and phone calls made to them since the date of 1st contact with them. The apartments are in a great location for easy access to gas stations, restaurants, mall, etcI have not seen any roaches, rats, pests, etcYou have the option to purchase assigned carport parking for $25.00 per month or open parking at no additional cost but it’s not assigned open parking. Before moving in I received messages sent out to all tenants about reminder to make sure to park in the proper parking spaces over the Memorial Day weekend because towing will be in effect and I was also advised of the parking rules when I signed my lease. So they have made it very clear that visitors need to register when they park and tenants need to park in their designated areas or they will be towed. After the 3rd or 4th visit of your visitor in a month they will need to pay $5.00 for parking for each visit thereafter and at the beginning of the next month they will receive free parking again. I don’t have visitors so this is not an issue for me. 😊Overall it is very quiet.CONS:IF YOU ARE HOT NATURED DO NOT MOVE ON THE SECOND FLOOR!!! After the temps rise above 94 degrees outside it becomes warm inside the apartment. My thermostat will usually read 77 degrees in hot temperatures although I have it set for 70. Maintenance did all they could to resolve this but this Texas heat is just too hot 🥵
I absolutely adore Ms.Josephine. She worked with my family when we lost our jobs and helped us file for rental assistance and any time weve had problems with the apartment requiring maintenance it is always taken care of with in 1-2 days. The rest of the staff are kind and helpful as well
If i could rate this place 0 stars i would, this place is beyond wrong for how they treat guest coming to visit residents. They tow cars constantly with payments over $300 which is very inconvenient for many that are simply coming over to visit & RETURN TO NO CAR AT ALL. They also have charged visitors to pay to park at the property as if it’s in downtown dallas or something. Visitor cars still get towed even in visitor parking & with permitted passes. & Beyond that Management here is TRASH & nothing is handled accordingly & they are literally robbing people of money CONSTANTLY DUE TO PARKING WHEN ITS MORE THAN ENOUGH SPACES ..BE CAREFUL PARKING HERE OR BETTER YET DONT EVEN MOVE HERE!
I just recently moved in this year, definitely an upgrade from my last apartment complex, haven’t had any issues and has been pretty peaceful so definitely recommend 🤗
I am a current resident.. by far this has been a bad experience.. I have a 1yr old son, and I work from home. I understand when the office “manager” or whoever goes around passing out info, they are supposed to leave it at the door, NOT WALK IN AS THEY PLEASE. Which I did not give her permission to even walk in to begin with! I didn’t catch her name, but she definitely has glasses and is a Hispanic lady. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. Good thing I left my top lock, LOCKED!Not only that, I have constant roaches, which I keep my house clean at all times, and they still come in from places. They do a “pest control” and I brought to the guys attention, and all he did was put stuff in the bathroom and left. Also, I guess they don’t care for these apartments enough, I can’t even hang pictures up in my restroom Bc of how thin the wall is, my pictures fall all the time. That bathroom is poorly done..Last thing, now I hardly have people over, bc they want to charge a fee… that is unacceptable.. especially when I have a baby sitter here and there.. disappointing how my guest can only come over 3times a week.. that is not okay.If I did all my reviews first, this definitely would not be a home for kids or myself.
Love my new apartment, management is very welcoming and keeps everything in shipshape a major plus for me was the car port ❤️
This place was ok a year ago until new management took over at first they wasn’t even worrying about towing now they charging our visitors $5 after they visit 3x a month. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Also what you pay here isn’t worth not being comfortable in your own home. Go anywhere else matter a fact run anywhere else
Ive lived here for 15 years and loved it until recently. Landscaping beautiful and pristine up front. Dying bushes, empty places where bushes used to be, weeds, visible flower beds cleaned, but NEVER mine which is not visible from street view.Drug dealers all through the apartments. I can sit up all night and watch them come and go.Now they are charging guests to park on the property - a guest may only visit for free three times a month. I am 61 yrs old with custody of four grandchildren. We are still in the midst of a pandemic so I do not take my kids out. I have two people that help me out so I can go to the store, run errands, dr apts, etc and now they have to pay! I am livid. Bunch of price gouging greedy people. Ill be out of here as soon as my lease is up in July.
I live in the front facing country club. We have no visitor parking nor dumpsters near our apartment (and yes we get charged for trash amenities) I know the management company is new to this but you should really put a fence around the property before constructing covered parking. This isnt a nice neighborhood and yall charge us like it is. Overpriced. The only reason Im still here is to take care of my mom, but this management company is basically price gouging with their rates.
I am very disappointed in this apartment complex. First of all, this is not the first time i have seen the mailboxes opened like this. I saw them like this a few months ago and mentioned it to the office and nothing was done about it. I am angry at the fact that i had my passport mailed to me and it was delivered January 8 according to the post office but i didnt receive it. Someone took it out of my mailbox because i did find my mailbox as one of the ones that were opened, and i needed it for an important trip.Secondly, the apartment complex changed the mail key to fix the locks i believe, but failed to notify me of that key change. So i had to go to the office and wonder why my mail key was not working. No communication what so ever. I do not feel safe knowing that my mail is unsupervised and not secure whatsoever. I will be going to the office in person to express my concern with the property manager. And to make sure what is going to be done by them to ensure this will never happen again.
Let me start this off by saying that everywhere has its pros and cons so you must take everything gradually in steps. Mayra has been thorough since the first day I’ve worked with her moving here. My apartment was clean and the floor plan is great I am thankful not to have carpet! The team has been responsive to my requests(lights and small appliance issue). I would recommend someone to move here. It’s fairly quiet here!
There is no perfect place, but Silverton does its best to be that place. All the staff at Silverton has been amazing. They work hard and quickly to answer and resolve to the best of their abilities everything that comes their way. The complex is quiet and safe (this is great for a non gated community). I had a short contract assignment in the Dallas area and Silverton made it extremely easy to get a short 6 month lease with a pet without any delays with both moving in and out. I had to move out after hours and they accommodated me with keys and final check out turn-in availability. They are working hard also with keeping parking a non issue. There were plenty of available parks for residents. My family didnt have any visitors over but it looked as though there was enough spots for them as well. They do tow so park in the right areas and you will be good to go. For amenities, I utilized the dog park, coffee station, and gym while I was there; This was during the winter months and right before spring. Silverton is a great location to lease with and is centered around most everything that you need for daily living with access to several highways and byways. Heck them them that I sent you and we all can take advantage of the referral incentive that a lot of other locations are starting not to offer any longer.
This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I moved into my unit in January of 2019 and from the moment I moved in there was problems. I contacted maintenance multiple times regarding the heating and AC not working in my unit (imagine being in Texas in the middle of winter when it’s 20 degrees and 110 degrees when it’s summer with no heat or AC). Each time maintenance came into my unit it was always something different they had to do to the AC unit but nothing was ever fixed. I have been blessed with the patience of a saint but after being in my unit for 9 months with no resolution to my problem I was very frustrated. I contacted the City of Irving to report the unsuitable living conditions of my unit and they sent someone out to inspect my unit. Needless to say she was not pleased with my unit being 94 degrees with the AC unit turned on. In the end I spent the remaining 3 months of my lease with a big loud window unit in my dining room window that only cooled and heated the dining room and not the rest of my two bedroom unit I was living in. This was the worst experience I have ever had with renting. There was also an incident where the mailboxes were broken into and a lot of the tenants mail was stolen. The mailbox locks were broken the entire time I lived there. Management is horrible and they don’t seem to care about their tenants until it’s time to resign your lease. I don’t recommend Silverton Apartments to anyone please try some of the other units in the area.
Living with the family at Silverton Apartments has been a great experience. Miss Daisy tries to make everybody happy and comfortable she’s a very pleasant person to work with she will always make sure that you are happy in your apartment with all your amenities. Speak with Miss Daisy for your future Apartment home I am so happy with how she handled things and how she make sure you are happy I like everything is Daisy has done for me at the Silverton apartments. This is my second year living in the Silverton apartments because of Miss Daisy I am still here thank you Miss Daisy for your smile. You are doing a great job at the Silverton apartments
Pay for Parking ???? At first I thought very highly about this community complex until they started charging our visitors to park. Recently once SKYVIEW Management took over residents have to use the parking badge to register your visitor to parks after 3 times they will have to pay $5 to park in the complex. It does reset every month. This is not downtown or city parking.
Very clean, well maintained property. Very safe & quiet - new management has been excellent and responsive.
I would first like to say thank you to Mayra!!!! She was so helpful with my move in process and so understanding and thoughtful . She is truly heaven sent, I’ve never had such a caring staff /manager assist me when it comes to an apartment search. I am also very happy with my new home and the $500 gift card to amazon she gave was a plus!!! If you’re looking I’d suggest calling and speaking with Mayra directly, you won’t regret it ! Thanks again
I called to very basic information and spoke with a very nice gentleman. Gave 2 stars because he was very nice. I inquired about deposits and fees. Was told $250.00 Admin fee thats NOT refundable IF you are NOT approved .Maybe its a wonderful apartment and wouldnt have a problem paying it but feel thats a quite a lot of money to lose on a MAYBE. Just wanting other people searching for apartments to be aware.
The reason I renew my lease in this complex, is because youre very organized and everytime we need your service, were satisfied. Please dont change, youre doing a great job, and continue to do that. Thank you for everything you do for us. We appreciate
Never informed their residents of their new towing policy for their guests and got towed. It costs $300 to retrieve it.. visitors beware
I have been there since 2012 and have loved it. Ive been lucky enough to have had quiet and respectful neighbors. Parking also has been great and convenient.Upgrades are nice too. The ONLY thing that i would change would be to upgrade the bedroom lighting. You dont have lighting in the bedroom unless you have lamps. And the cabinet storage in the kitchen (limited storage but not too bad). Other than that...everything is GREAT!Staff has always been good to me and have attended me very promptly when needed if i ever had a work order submitted same day within a couple of hours.I give this place a 2 THUMBS UP! :)
Management is rude & tries to charge extra fees for everything.
Resident and I love living here. It is such a well kept community and very quiet from what Ive experienced so far. Ryan is efficient and always kind, which shows in his performance. Mayra and Daisy are both nice as well. I would recommend this apartment complex to anybody.
I would def recommend this property, I moved in April 1st to a one bedroom very spacious and upgraded. Def worth the price. And when maintenance is needed they always jump on it . Leasing office Mayra is very helpful.
We just began our 3rd year at Silverton, and we are very happy with the accommodations, the grounds keeping, and most of all, the helpful, cheerful, and courteous staff. I have a walking disability, and they have made every effort to help me, including recently installing grab bars in the shower. Any service requests are taken care of promptly and efficiently, no questions asked. I would like especially to commend the manager, Virginia, for the great job that she does in a sometimes challenging environment.
The staff is friendly and very transparent. The maintenance is very fast with the work orders. I can’t say anything bad about the apartment it’s conveniently located are everything that you might need and more. I highly recommended these to anyone that’s looking for a good place to stay
Wish i could give these guys more stars.. Best management ever.. Office staff are awesome and really kind.. Only issue is the parking needs to be a little better(maybe some cover parking). but overall i love it here..
The apartment itself is okay but I do have other issues. 1. I have to call every month to tell them to take out the trash in the doggy bins because they start smelling. It’s kind of embarrassing to have guests come over and that’s the first thing they smell walking to your apartment. 2. My car was recently hit over the weekend and damaged. i know it happened here at the apartments because my car didn’t move the entire weekend. I called to ask the front if they have cameras and they told me they didn’t have any. I feel like for the amount we all pay to live here they should have cameras for security reasons. I’ve had other residents tell me they’ve had their cars broken into and it’s kinda sad we can never find the people doing this just because they don’t want to invest in cameras. 3. I feel like they can have more visitor parking. A lot of my guests have to park far away and have to walk. In my opinion I think these apartments can be great if they could do something to fix these issues
I love my apartment have been here more than 3 years, very clean. If you enter a ticket which is uncommon they work on it asap. Great customer service Ryan has always been super helpful and welcoming. My brother has an apt here as well as my parents and a friend I am referring is moving in as well. Thanks Ryan.
This is a very loving place to live. The office staffs are very kind, caring very respectful. The manintence staff is fast on the calls, they are very kind as well. The apartment I moved into is just the right size, crazy comfortable.Come on and join us!!! You will love it!!
I dont live here so dont take my word for it. I went there for a tour and they did not give me one. Based on what I saw from outside, it didnt feel very safe anyway. So I went a different way.
From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile here. Management is amazingly helpful especially Mayra she was wonderful and very informative. I absolutely love the location. I recommend Silverton to anyone looking for a new place to call home.
I have been here a month now and I absolutely love my apartment! The upgrades are very nice and the community seems to be very quiet and under control. There is absolutely no issue with parking for me and visitors. I have interacted with both Ryan and Mayra and they are very professional and helpful at all times. My boyfriend and I are very content with our choice to have made Silverton our first home together!
Such a great place! No bugs that we know of, convienent location, quick maintenance. If we werent moving locations wed definitely be staying! Management was always polite, and when we were moving in had some issues on our end. Ryan was incredibly patient, helpful, and understanding.
The community over is very nice! No loud noises no disturbance at all. Best management you will find in Irving, they will come to fix ASAP! Recommended!
Kindly request to fix the gym Issue ASAP. We cant really run outside when is 99*F outside. Will be waiting for an update on the GYM eagerly.Thank you!
First apartment I ever moved into and it was great the first year, however, it took about 2 weeks to fix the water dripping from the neighbors bath tub (second level) and we were on the first level so our restroom got flooded with water and id have to use my towels to soak it up. Also our mail boxes all got broken into and luckily i didnt get any mail sent there. Getting them to answer the phone was so hard my second year there, i would call back to back and never an answer until i gave up and hopefully got lucky the next day with an answer. The only positive experience was Mayra because she helped with any situation and is so KIND. I moved out June 1st 2019 since i bought a home but i got a huge bill due to my dog doing damage to the floors. Be careful because it adds up and you basically only have a month to pay it off. I enjoyed it there my first year but honestly after that i wanted to get out.
This community gets a 5 star for customer service and cleanliness. First of all, the office and units we toured smelled great, the apartments are modern and updated, and Ryan was really helpful in touring me around the property. Will lease an apartment in the near future.
My apartment itself is decent except for the cracks for bugs to get into your home. Biggest dislike is if you have packages delivered, you will get them stolen! Oh, the mailroom is a disaster. Most mailboxes are open or picked. Somehow there’s a camera there but when asked for footage it doesn’t work!
Ive lived here for 4 yrs. Just renewed my contract for another year on an upgraded unit. I really like it. New staff is very friendly. They respond promptly to a service request. Making progress from when i first moved in.
I like it here so far, and I love the professionalism of office staff. I wish my apt didnt have a small insect issue but Im working to resolve on my own because I think the pest control they use actually attracts the bugs. They are not roaches, they appear to be other unknown pest. Also, Im unhappy with all the pet owners who bring their pets to the grass patches in front of my apartment and general walking area. The grass has turned colors due to the piss and poop of these dogs. Why cant the use the areas near their own apartment or at least behind it by their patios. No that would be to kind and courteous. Other than that, the overall condition of the apartment is nice, but for the price I wish it was nicer. Overall, this is a very nice complex, I just have the few issues I listed above. Btw, they have been stellar with responding to maintenance. Same day service has been my experience thus far, and that is a huge plus in my book.
Ive been a resident at Silverton for the pas 5 years. The Management Staff is Excellent, especially Mayra. She ALWAYS is extremely helpful. She ALWAYS greet you with a smile. She greets you on a first name bases, which makes you feel like family. I LOVE living at Silverton. Its conveniently located near all my favorite shopping stores and restaurants. Its also conveniently located near major Highways 183, 114, 635 and 161, making it easily accessible to anywhere in the DFW area. The property is always clean and maintained. I would highly recommend Silverton properties to anyone looking for a safe, clean affordable apartment home.
Seriously they dont deserve any star. I thought the price and remodeled building look reasonable. However, old appliance caused high rate of monthly electricity Bill though the inside of building was fine. With one year of experience in here I wasnt gonna write any bad review. But their behavior, when we try to move out, seems different than when we were moving in. I felt that she lacked of professionalism when she explains about moving out process which made me feel that I have to write this review.
I have been here a couple months and I can honestly say I have not had any problems. Management has always been nice during every encounter. The only big problem I had was my car being towed during my 1st month here, because I was not aware it was a sticker that needed to be stuck on the windshield and not placed on the dashboard ( From OHIO) . Things get fixed quickly. appliances were new.The only other things is normal neighbor issue. The people below can be loud sometime. This is an honest review, I dont sugar coat anything. (6 Month Resident)
If youre interested in leasing an affordable, renovated apartment, look no further! Be sure to ask for Ryan Almon! Other than a few unconventional mishaps, I really enjoyed my stay with Silverton and I recommend this complex.
I love the friendliness from the management staff. Daisy was very help with my moving as it was quick and fast. She was amazing!
Great customer service Andrés is awesome!*Update after being here for almost two weeks now I realize that the door to get into the mailroom does not work and has not been fixed also once I was finally able to get in the mail room my mailbox door was open so I was not able to get any of my mail. I asked them to fix it and they said they need to access my unit which has nothing to do with the mailbox and it is still not fixed...
I absolutely love being a resident of Silverton apts! I can be very picky at times and sometimes difficult, but the staff here does an amazing job in the hospitality and customer service fields! I am truly a fan of good service and this is what they give! Ive been a resident now, going into my fifth year. Ive gone through the transitions of management AND ownership of this property and I am more impressed now than Ive every been!!! Rachelle is an amazing manager who truly cares for her residents, its evident in the way she handles business! Mayra and Amanda are pretty awesome as well...! A great team, which makes my home life a lot easier! Thanks Ladies!!! -Zelma
The staff is very nice and kind. Thank yall for the dinner it was great. Must Appreciated👍. Myra - Ryan - and the Manager.📢 keep up the good work.
I really wanted to move here and to be honest Ryan had great customer service but at some point communication got very sketchy. There were a lot of issues regarding our previous apartments that delayed the process of our rental verification that delayed our process. However we communicated extensively, called and were there in person. They took the $300 app/ admin fee. When they finally got all they needed they knew how urgent it was for us to have an answer if we were approved because our lease was up sunday but no communication between himself, his manger or the assistant was done. My husband had to go to the office because they said that we would have an answer yesterday and we were anxious to know what we were doing so we could make the next move. WELL WELL WELL...we were denied! not a problem but it sure would have been nice for them to call us to let us know when they knew how time sensitive this was for us...but since they got their money, they got what they needed so who cares right?Nothing gets done without Ryan doing it, the young lady in the office is the middle man and cant make any decisions without it coming from him so she is useless because she can only relay a message or call her manager or supervisor and then relay that back so if they are not there she has no power to make it move faster.Im just disappointed because I should have went with my gut feeling when everything started off rocky because of our lame previous landlord! Its a nice place inside. very spacious, ok outdoors (concrete where parking is can be repaved) staff started out great! but communication dropped and that ticked me off because we dont have the extra time nor money to waste.so for that I knocked of 3 stars...Just make sure all your rental history is great and you should be good but if its not? Be prepared to loose $300, so apply when they have a good deal or go someplace else.
My review may tend to a little biased because I moved in just about 3 years ago just when the complex was under going major renovation( who knew). So now Im getting new counter tops, new carpet, flooring and fresh paint through out. Cant beat it, not to mention an updated fitness center which was a must have for me. The staff in the rental office are nice people to do business with and the entire complex nice and quiet.Any issues that I have had, though only a few, the maintenance people were prompt and courteous. No problems with the usual varmits that tend to show up in large complexes such as this. I looked at 30 different apartments before choosing Silverton, to this day I feel I made the best choice for me hands down!!
I had lived her for ten years, but as soon as I moved out I was hit with a $238 bill for not turning in my key and gym pass on time, this is not right, I was never a problem for them always paid on time. I would never recommend this place to anyone, they are money hungry.
This is the cleanest apartment community I have ever been to and the location is awesome, near the mall & great restaurants! Every time I go to the office they greet me with a smile and when I see maintenance they always say hi! Love it!!!
Apartments look really beautiful. Staff very professional and kind. Cant wait to move in.
I have lived here for a few months and I absolutely love it here. The apartments are nice and well kept, office staff is friendly and professional. I tell my friends and people I know to come live here because its the place to be.
Nice apartments and the office staff (Daisy) was very friendly and helpful.
Feel like a lot of other people here at the Silverton Apartments. I hate living here and wish this lease would end immediately. First of all to call the office... you never get through because they never answer. Then I finally do get a answer from Virginia; she rude and act like I was interrupting her by calling. Called to see if I received a Gym card... with a bad attitude responding You received it and signed for it... Rude and no Customer Service Skills.Other issues... when it rain, it leaks in my living room. They said it cant be fixed in one day but never came to even fix it at all (been like 3 weeks ago). The dishwasher never worked but they came to try and fix it twice. (You sign off on it when you move in but who move in washing dishes..... omg ... ) Bugs were in my apartment the first three months and they told me they had no bugs. There is no light fixture in neither bedroom nor the living room (so you need lamps). Parking for you guest is a mile away so you have to pick them up from parking. My lease bout up and I am not renewal it just want to move out asap! I pay a lot of money to stay here and its not worth it at all - staff rude- appliances not new- dishwasher never worked- leaking ceiling in living room- cold draft in bedroom because not whether proof. They dont care long as you pay.....
I would love to say the Daisy and Mayra are the real MVPs! They are very professional and they actually CARE about their future residents/ residents. They helped me out through the whole process and im very happy about my first home! Thank you guys soo much.
I really wanted to apply but they have a $41 cable tv package which I couldn’t opt out of. I know spectrum is paying them to force this package on their potential residence but No thanks I’m a millennial I don’t pay for cable tv. There’s plenty of apartment complexes in DFW which won’t force me to buy something I don’t need. 0 stars
Super modern and renovated apartments! Ryan was knowledgeable and friendly.
I’ve been here three years. Greater starter apartments, or someone trying to rebuild their name from an eviction. I’ve been late a few times on rent they’ve worked with me, but over all I’ve seen a major change. It is now MANDATORY that we pay rent online and it’s $25 just to process the payment. I have to call them every year to come and change the air filter. Mind you I have horrible allergies. My unit over looks the parking lot and of course the dumpster is in the parking lot, people never throw their trash in the dumpster so I always look out and see trash everywhere. Oh and let’s not talk about how when someone moves I seem to ALWAYS get roaches in my apartment!!! I clean the house twice a week with strong cleaning products so I know it’s not from my apartment. For $925 a month I’m sure I can find some place with a nice laundry facility I’ll actually use (instead of going to the laundry mat) or a in unit wash and dryer!!
I had stopped by to see if we could lease there but they did not have an apartment for when I was looking for. The girl at the office was so nice and tried so hard to help me move in, the apartment was supper nice because it had granite countertops and it was right by the office. Will defiantly come back until they have something for me.
Just left Silverton Apts..grounds are clean, quiet neighborhood and friendly staff ( Mayra) was very attentive to my needs. I would recommend Silverton to EVERYONE 💖
Great team will definitely recommend this apartments to my friends and family
Precautionary Alert !Please think 100s times before renting out at silverton appartment. this place is full of roaches and serious health hazard to live in the apartment ., on top of it the management is doing nothing despite repetitive requests
The Good:-Leasing staff is respectful and kind.-the upgrades inside the apartments-Ive never had any theft or safety issuesThe bad:-the residents: there is a real issue with people cleaning the common areas after themselves-even though Silverton cleans the grounds every morning, trash is a huge issue. People leave their bags around the dumpster (rather than inside) I have come outside to trash spread across the lawn on many occasions.-people do not clean up after their dogs AT ALL and although my dog has actually gotten sick from something in the dark park.-The children are not being monitored by their parents and Ive come out to them leaning on my car, Ive had scratches on my car, found their toys/crayons, snacks, etc left outside on a constant basis. And,Ive been IN THE CAR when a child banged into it with their door without their parent even acknowledging it.- Feral cats are fed and residents encourage them to stay-maintenance is nice but they will leave trash behind, leave lights on when they leave, etc. Once a light bulb was left in my shoe and I almost stepped in it.Overall, the upgrades to the apartments kind of feel like lipstick was put on a pig. The strict policies to hold the apartment plus the fees charged, combined with the upgrades gave the feeling their is some level of exclusivity at this community. There is not.I believe the Silverton staff honestly does the best they can with their resources. However, I feel Knightvest corporate should either upgrade more than the apartments or be a little more real about the type of communities they own. There are people who dont mind living in the conditions I described. Market to them, but dont false advertise. Also, this Ryan character that gave it 5 stars is a leasing director for Knightvest, the management company. I agree that the staff cares, but the beautiful part not quite.
When a review says all about the money theyre correct. Your charged $25 to pay rent with a card thru their new website. Yep $25 just to pay rent and the other free option yeah forget about that Ive spent a hour trying to get that to work.
We relocated from California we lived in texas before and the area always has been a good one with good diversity of people Ryan Mayra and Daisy made a very smooth transition for us even after move in they never hesitate to do anything needed inside the apartment they go the extra mile and really listen to your needs the renovation was really great u can go few miles up pay $$300 more and the apartments have not been renovated since like 2006 the gym is new and location is great kroger is walkable also schools the bus stops are on the same corner makes life easy spacious dog park and your 4 legged friend will make friends too very pet friendly I have a kitty who loves the large over sized patio the apartments are quite and on top my renewal was jacked up high like my friends was across the street its nice affordable and property management knightwest is a very great management staff has been here a long time it is a sign of stability ive worked in an industry and when apartment staff changes alot is sign of stuggling the staff also has coffee tea bar inside you can use and towing reviews they make it clear to tell your tag number of uour car just go in and they will give u a paper even if your family or friend visits just get a visitor paper for the days needed and no one gets towed the area is secured and I am saving more money since renewal didnt sky rocket Thanks guys makes my life and others great!

I just moved into Silverton and it is gorgeous!! I can’t believe I found this place…everything is brand new and I even have a washer and dryer connections! I was paying WAY more for my previous apartment and it wasn’t half as nice as this one!!!!:)
Its a great place and the environment is good
Apartments look nice and updated, good customer service
Nice property. Look forward to touring soon.
The community is so beautiful! Amazing office staff who sincerely care about their residents!!
Been here for a couple of months already and my fiancé and love it !
If I could give no stars for this apartment complex, I would. These are the WORST apartments I have ever encountered. They dont care about answering the phones up at the front office but they put on a great show about caring for every tenant when they actually dont do anything about any concern you have. Also, parking is a definite nightmare if you ever want to have guests. My boyfriend and I have lived here a little under a year and we absolutely hate it. We had a nasty bug infestation not even 2 weeks after we had moved in. There were roaches that showed up on the stove, in the sink, under the dishwasher, and all throughout the apartment. They said they had prepped it before we had moved in but we had to get our apartment sprayed twice and then ended up using Raid before it went away. After that issue, our AC unit had stopped working. Mind you, we were here at the end of July - early August without working AC and they left us like that for 3 days. There is also some terrible wiring going on through the walls. We have an apartment that has the one bedroom plus a den. When we bought lamps that could be turned on by the wall switch, none of them had turned on in either of the rooms. We had someone come to fix the problem yet, unfortunately, we couldnt get it to work correctly. Anytime the wall switch from the den was flipped, the light in our bedroom would turn on and vice versa. We also had numerous issues with water leakage. First time: We had gotten home around 8-9 pm to find a leak coming from the ceiling in the restroom above the sink. We had cleaned it up and laid towels on the floor. The following morning, the entire bathroom floor along with part of the hallway was filled with water. We had to call and leave messages with their automated system 3 times before they finally decided to send someone out. Second time: After the first incident had been cleaned up and fixed, a few weeks later, we had ANOTHER leak coming from underneath the vanity. We had no idea where it was coming from until they finally told us that it was coming through the walls (uhhh gross!). Third time: A few weeks after that, my boyfriend had come home from work and saw that there was nasty stuff in our tub from something leaking above the shower. Again, we had to call their automated service to get someone out here so we could shower again. Luckily, the maintenance man, Marcos (best one you could get), fixed it and we never had an issue with the restroom again. Fourth time: It had rained pretty hard one night but we thought nothing of it, until the next morning. We woke up to find our bedroom with a puddle of water that trailed from the wall to under our bed. After e-mailing them, they claimed they fixed the issue. Two - three times after the fourth time, the same thing had happened again. We were still getting water seeping into our bedroom from the outside after they said they had fixed the issue. They had to send someone out again but who knows if its fixed yet. It hasnt rained in a while for it to be determined. After all that water damage, they have repeatedly told us that they would send someone to fix the baseboards and the floor in our bedroom. Months later, we still have yet to have anyone clean it up or fix it despite our numerous attempts. That is just plain ridiculous. That is unsanitary. Our baseboards look disgusting. Theyre discolored, warped, and definitely have water damage. There could be mold building up or it could have asbestus but that doesnt seem to concern them. All in all, worst place you could move to. I would consider many other apartments before ever moving here.
Kids like to go through your cars when they are unlocked. Air conditioner unit in bathroom madr horrible clanking noises the whole two years we were there. Viditor parking always filled to the Grimm & they will tow you so make surr you park in the right spot. Irving is boo boo mobe to euless or grapevine or bedford. More bang for your buck💪🔫🔫
SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD RECOMMEND SO MUCH BEST PLACE TO LIVE EVEN A FREE GYM!!!!$
This apartment is the worst apartment I have ever lived.Very unsecured location and no fence for security: Easy access from beltline road. My car was broken and my stuffs were stolen couple of times. Woww!!!Poor management: The staffs literally dont know what their job is or how is it done. They dont even know how much do we owe them everymonth. Everytime we were misinformed about the balance that were need to be cleared. We were supposed to make 2-3 money orders everytime. The staffs very nice and polite unless and untill you the damn lease aggreement paper. Wow!!!Bed bugs: I understand the bed bug problem is normal. We complained about it on July 2016. They never listened or cared about it. But when our lease was over and we left the apartment on Dec 2016, they hit us with a total amount of 373.13$ for bed bug treatment and 75$ for so called trip charge. Im still wondering what that trip charge was for. And when I asked for the genuine invoice (receipt) from the bed bug treatment company, I simply got an invoice on their own letter pad. Embarrassing!!!Could not claim my own parcel: One of my monthly parcel was delivered on my old address i.e this apartment. But I was not suppose to even check on it. Eventhough I had proof that it was dilevered to this address. Because I was already out of lease and I am not suppose to check any parcel from vacant apartement. Amazing!!!Appliances are too old: All their electrical appliances were too old that consumed very high electricity. Great!!!
This is the worst experience every. I moved to this apartment 19 days ago and have not unpack my things yet. The first night I sleep here something ate me up at night. Woke up to roaches everywhere. The mangers say this is a very good apartment complex but they lied just to get my money. The washer and dryer hooks up did not work and water went everywhere. It took them 6 hours to come shut the thing off. I wish I would have read the reviews before moving to this place. I will be moving on the first of Aug. If they try to take me to court im glad I took pictuers of everything and I will sue for the inconvenience this nasty hell whole has cost me and my children. They get you by showing you the remodeled apartments with new appliances but old roaches and roach dens. You would think they would have sprayed before rentavateing this apartment. Please do not be fooled by the rentavateing apartment they show you. Word to the wise these apartments are a HOT MESS!!!!! They need a -10 starts!!!! This is the roach motel!!!! The only way to leave a review is to give a star please I give them a 0 zero.
They should have a zero stars because thats what they should get DO NOT LIVE HERE OR TRY TO LIVE HERE THEY HAVE THE WORST MANAGEMENT EVER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY THEY ARE FULLER WIT ROCHES AND DO NOT EVEN TRY TO HELP YOU AND IF YOU HABE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR APARTMENT THEY ARENT GOING TO FIX IT BECAUSE THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE MIGHT AS WELL FIX IT YOURSELF
Roaches everywhere, air conditioning never works and it runs up my bill, water leaking into master bedroom closet from master bathroom, people have broken into the mailbox and stolen debit cards and you can see the scrapes and pry marks on SEVERAL mail boxes. They do not work with you even if you tell them youre going to be late Bc they still leave a notice on your door every other day threatening eviction. I admit to having to pay rent late this summer but thats been due to my daughter being in and out of the mental hospital, the Irving police department coming to the house every week to week and a half so I have records of this and my daughter trying to commit suicide and overdosing and going to neighbors houses which are also witnesses to the police being called. recently the asst manager signed for a package from my bank that was supposed to be delivered to the back porch so that rent can get paid Tuesday and I told fed ex and now the package cant be found and they want to evict me and not stop the proceedings if back rent is paid in full. YOU SIGNED FOR THE PACKAGE FROM THE BANK WITH THE MONEY IN IT AND I HAVE THE TRACKING NUMBER FROM THE BANK AND YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE PACKAGE FROM FEDEX, SO IT WAS THERENON TIME. What a bunch of bull. I dont usually complain but some situations cant be helped especially when I had to make the ultimate sacrifice with my daughter just to make sure I had a place to live. Let me send my daughter away so I can pay rent oh you can lose your daughter and we are going to evict you Bc we just want money. Not a good feeling at all stressing about your child and getting threats every other day even with effective communication .
Love the upgrades, awesome office staff. If youre moving to this area of town Id give Silverton a visit.
The Silvertons are awesome!
This apartment is nasty, cracks in the walls with ants coming out the crack of the walls, We had animals living in the walls for about 2 months. Do not live here theyre all about money. We will tell them about the ants and the animals and the front office will say pest control will there in 3 days.
Do not APPLY HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I have nothing on my background and they told me I was denied and couldn’t give me an explanation why!
This apartment complex is horrible maintenance can never fix anything has to come back multiple times and every time you need help with anything when you call the office you talk to multiple people never consistent and they leave you on hold for several minutes please beware of the knightvest management team they are no help only want your money will not help you.
Too expensive with poor quality....Over price with poor amenities
This place sucks! one of the room does not have a window that can be open i cant even call it a window,i wouldnt recommend this sorry
One star is way too many, this places sucks big time, management is inexistent, apartments are infested with bug bed, any maintenance problem you have, you can try to fix it yourself or live with it, crime is elevated, beware!!
I heard gun shots on march 11
Lies lies lies from the office every month
Wonderful.
