If you rent an apartment near the swimming pool, you have to have a high tolerance for late night/early morning pool parties from May to October. Pool rules are not observed, and management is unavailable after hours. Non-residents often use the pool. The partiers ignore your requests to leave. The police will come when called, but this does not deter the late partying. Management expresses sympathy but admits not being able to do anything about pool parties at night. Renters who seek a quiet apartment complex would do well to look elsewhere.

If you notice all the reviews in the past six months are all fake. The place was put under new management recently and they were at least smart enough to realize that Google reviews are important. So they appear to have hired some firm to post all kinds of positive but FAKE reviews. (take a look at the reviews and the timings of the reviews you can easily see the pattern) This place still has management problems. They are also one of those places that likes to bully their customers. For instance they now claim that they will not accept checks or money order all the sudden and everyone must pay online. I know initially it sounds good.Pay online? How convenient! But then they charge you a $21 service fee to pay online. And they tell me this is required yet my contract explicitly states that I may pay at the managers office. So renter beware these guys are essentially bullies masquerading as an Apartment Complex.

I have been here a couple months and it’s great. I love the upgrades in my apartment. No complaints here other than having to get visitors parking pass when the office is open. Wish the would give like a universal pass that has you apartment number but could be use for more than one car. (It would save paper) I love living here!!

Ive lived in the complex for 6 years! We call this our home. The new manager Ashley is super friendly and helpful. Shes very efficient! Family friendly complex. I dont have problems with neighbors.

I feel like im living in a roach motel . I’m so ready for my lease to be up ! Though the ladies in the office are really nice the apartment is bad . It’s been like this since I moved in and I’ve tried all kinds of roach sprays

Moved in around July started out good but has gone down hill since then, haven’t had hot water in 2 week in shower called multiple times and put in for multiple service requests and nothing done and when they did come they told me to let the water run for 20mins and it’ll be fine. Still not working! Hopefully this review will help get my water fixed finally.

Ive been here for about eight years, first a one bedroom then two, then again to another two bedroom. Staff changes constantly but have always been friendly and accommodating towards me. Repairs have always been quick.Its under new management now and theyve poured money into renovation but pricing is outlandish for the age of these apartments which need more than cosmetics. For the most part the area is safe and mostly pleasant with neighbor diversity. Im in the apartment industry and know the ins and outs of it. So if you can afford it but dont expect your moneys worth. Im going to miss living here next month.

I recently moved here in October and I love it, the upgrades are very nice. Its convenient and close to surrounding shopping centers & highway. Great staff & management.

How am I supposed to pay my rent when the office is never open?? I also need my mailbox key and cant even get that because the office is NEVER OPEN!! thank God my boyfriend and I both work Maintenance and are able to fix all the issues that were wrong with our apartment... on my way now with fingers crossed that by the grace of God we may be able to pay rent.. horrible place. And they dont even have a website...

I live here at the pioneer crossing, Im loving the new look of the property, its really looking like a whole new complex. Also the office staff is great, they are always helpful and polite. They have really stepped it up here.

The staff at Vanderbilt are always very friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile. The apartments are great and maintenance is great as well. I love my apartment and the location.

DO NOT PAY THE 60 DOLLAR FEE TO START YOUR APPLICATION!!!!!At first they will be very friendly to convince you to move there but after you pay those 60 dollars they don’t care anymore! I already give everything they asked for and it’s been almost a month and they still haven’t approve my application!!! They always put you on hold or when they pick up they would say they’re manager is not there when there’s actually no manager at the office! And yeah they keep those 60 dollars. I just talk to somebody that lives there and that person told me they’re infested with roaches and bedbugs.

I really enjoy living in pioneer crossing Ive lived in a few complex and they never took care of my problems so fast as pioneer has I not to long moved to texas and this is the first one I moved to because your management is so kind and understanding I love the idea it has a pool so now I can go swimming Im excited and I like how well they keep it clean and best of all it nice and quiet and right down the street from my job and around all the stores and buses hurry for pioneer crossing

I live at the apartments. And I love it! The office staff is very nice. Great location, right by Walmart and the dfw airport. I have trees everywhere, which is nice. All in all, its a great place to live!

Water damage and roaches, plus an a/c that doesnt work 95% of the time, despite them fixing it several times. And they love shutting off your water without notice so they can continue their constant, slow paced construction.

Please beware leasing a unit here. These apartments are a headache from the very start the management is beyond terrible. The phones are never answered and they will charge you fees that they themselves dont know what they are for. I had to call corporate when my lease ended. It took months for my sink to be fixed and roaches infestation that I called multiple times to get fixed and had to deal with it on my own. This was a horrible experience from the very start.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVVVE The Vanderbilts.Ashley and Crystal were AMAZING. They got me moved in quick and they work around my schedule. Im a single mother of 3 kids and finding my independence was extremely hard. Im so thankful for these two ladies. My apartment is lovely. I love the brand new all black appliances. You can not go wrong with these apartments.

I lived in a upatairs unit last year. Worst experience by far. We moved into bug infested place. I spent 5 days after we signed the lease caulking and filling in all penterations inside the unit before moving my family in and i still would get waterbugs coming out the drains and fireplace. Popcorn ceiling was peeling in the living room which we all know has asbestos in it. About a 2 foot sections was falling due to the sheetrock starting to fall down. Obvious water damage along the entire exterior wall in the living room kids bedroom. Was very clear it was painted over for many years and not properly repaired. A/C unit was bad and Vanderbilt now didnt want to fix it so i called the city and before i knew it they had a new unit in. It took 3 months before they acutally showed intrest in fixing it. They came in first and said it was my coils, then the insulation in the attic, then they said i needed the right curtains on my windows. They didnt care i had a wife and 2 kids stayings in a 90 degree apartment during last years record summer temperatures. I had to go buy a window unit which is prohibited to have in the windows. The last straw for me was the water going out for the 11th time. I packed up my family and moved into a house. No more apartments for me. Its ironic they charged $4400 to my credit report. Beware they will screw you over if you break the lease. I didnt care. They cared more about me giving them my money and not my family. I paid on time everytime and they still could careless.

Ive live here for almost 2 years now. I cant say enough about how much I enjoy this place.The property sits in one of the most convenient locations around. Everything is writhing 5 minutes. Being able to walk the Towne lake park in the evenings is amazing and gives you a country side feel in the city. The front office is one of the nicest group of people Ive had the pleasure of working with. Anytime Ive called or went in with an issue they see to it right away. Ive put in work orders and with 24 hours they have already been in and fixed whatever it was. The property mananger Ashley is an exceptional peoples person. She doesnt talk nor test you like a name on a lease. She goes above and beyond to try and help accommodate you if theres any issues. And thats what keeps me around more than anything. The maintence team is wonderful! They are always speaking and saying good morning when they see me walking to my car if they are out on the property. Theres no loud parties, no loyd cars driving around blasting music. Its pretty much the ideal place to live at for the working person or small family.

My mom lives here and it has been an horrible experience for her. She has only lived there for 2 months. The maintenance on the apartments are unexceptable. They do not like to fix anything and when they do it is patched up with spare parts. Calling the office doesnt help and when you speak to someone it is like talking to a brick wall.

Bug infested...did not fulfill their promise to update my apartment when they were supposed to. Horrible management. The complex needs to be torn down and rebuilt completely. I was unfairly evicted when i had brain surgery, tried to let the office know ahead of time but the manager was never available and hassled me while in the hospital about their rent. Then a week or so later they unlawfully went into my apartment and took my tv and nikon dslr camera in exchange for rent, and then try to take me to court to get me officially evicted while i am still in the hospital. I tried to talk to upper level management but he was more concerned about how i got his number. And they can never keep a leasing agent.AC issues, they are known to turn off water without notice

They cut off the water more than three times with out notice one time I was taking a shower when the turn off the water and had to Waite over three hours to finish taking a shower the office is all ways closed never am able to put money on my card to wash the clothes the Hispanic ladys all ways lie on the time there going to open the office they keep on raising the rent each month, charging lots of money for the water,they never fixs the things when you need them fixs, they dont have cameras to keep people safe so any person can walk up to your apartment and knock .I had a man full of blood knock on my door saying he was looking for a family that lives here. You have people using drugs in the laundry room all the time.so I walk to the closet place now to wash my clothes, the Hispanic ladies are crazy if youre late one day on your rent they will go into your apartment with out notice and put notes all over your things, inside of your apartment or they put a lock on your door and charge you money to remove it. There is no paper work showing why the water keeps on going up and that there paying a lot for it .These people that work here are criminals that all they do is stell people money with the high water bill,bad living conditions its not worth all the money you pay to live here. And you cant put nothing on your balcony with out getting in trouble . These Hispanic ladies are only in the office when rent is do they treat the good people very bad that is why people keep on moving out.

I decided to visit this facility despite numerous bad reviews concerning everything from poor management to infested units. The property itself is cute with nice patios and lots of parking so we were excited to see something and I put my fears out of mind. However, we went to the office at 1pm and no one was there- the door said they would be back at 130, so we came back at 2- still not open. At 3pm Chanel finally answered the phone and let me know they had all been in a 3 hr meeting and assured me she would be there now. When I got there a woman with black hair was sitting behind a desk in a smaller office across the room. Not only did I have to let myself in and come to her, she couldnt even be bothered to stand up or shake my hand or introduce herself or anything. She let me know there was nothing available until November, said sorry sweetie and went back to whatever was more important than providing customer service or a good first impression. Very disappointed and I didnt even get more than 4 feet in the door.

Beware they will take your items.....When your late on your rent they will take your TV or the most expensive item you have and stat that they are holding it til you pay. They dont give you but three days to be late on rent.
