This is literally the only place where I get my nails done in Indianapolis.Despite the fact that I no longer live on the south side, I still drive down there just to get my nails.I just love the friendly vibe & environment that I get.The beauticians are always willing to work with any design that I bring to them and even recommend some designs to me.You have to call ahead to book an appointment ( you’ll have to thanks the pandemic for that lol)

Cindy is the absolute worst ! She’s rude and mistreated me because I did not make an appointment. I left their other location for that reason and now she did my nails poorly and so fast they barely had time to dry correctly and they are lumpy. I will never go back to any of her establishments she is an owner very poor experience and I’ve gone to this location never had any issues until she is there 🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾

Went in for a soak off. after soaking for 2 minutes henry started to take a nail tip and rip them off of me. some nails still have acrylic because i wouldnt let him finish because he was hurting me so badly. even after he saw i was bleeding he decided to keep trying to rip the acrylic off. 3 nails completely destroyed, bleeding, and in pain and i STILL HAD TO PAY

I love top nails. I always go early mornings. I love that the housekeeper clean the place really well. I have never had a problem with the staff giving me a perfect pedicure every time. The prices have gone up quite a bit but I love the service so its worth it!!

Guy couldnt put stickers on and my nails show it looks like he was in a hurry. He was nice tho.

This is truly the worst nail salon I have EVER been to in the last 15 years. I would give it zero stars rather than one. The front desk gal was rude as they come, RUDE! The older asian gentleman was careless, hurried through process doing an awful job, cut my toe in two places then continued to try and pressure the gel polish so finally I had to say NOOOOOO, I do not want gel. Then the customer service became worse if that is possible. The place was not clean and there was no indication their tools had been sanitized. I finally got up and left very frustrated before the nail polish was all the way dry. Terrible experience and I discourage others fully!!

My roommate and I went to get our nails done and neither one of us are happy with the service that we received. I got a regular manicure and the guy who did my nails cut several of my fingers when he removed the cuticles because they were not soft enough. He also filed my nails into a round shape without asking me if I wanted a shape other than the squoval that I already had. And he did not shape them evenly. My roommate got a french tip full set and was told that the shape she wanted was not an option (she wanted round and was told she could only have square or coffin). They also made the tips way too long and they glued her fingers to the nails. We will not be going back to get services here.

I needed my chipped gel off. I understand they need appointments for manicures, but they said I needed an appointment to remove the gel.If they were busy I would understand, but all the employees were standing around and they said there are 8 people ahead of me if I wanted to wait. Before they had been okay, until I saw the manager kick out a woman with tips just applied and not even trimmed. I liked some of the people there still, but management needs to learn how to treat customers.

I got a gel manicure and a gel nail polish ! The gel is already coming off of two nails I am very disappointed and I will not be going back there again !!!

Great experience as always, the reception lady is rude which I didnt appreciate as I spent a lot of money on me and my girls. We were cordial and I even offered to come back at a later time if the current time I came was not accommodating. Other than that awesome!!

I went to get a pedicure, my first one since Coronavirus started, on April 2nd,2021. The man who helped me told the another employee how bad my feet were even though I warned him how long it had been since my last pedi and that I stand all day for work. I upgraded my pedi to the paraffin wax and vitamin E treatments for that reason. Then he cut all my toe nails at odd angles, digging into the corners and making all but 2 bleed. It is now April 27,2021 and my toes are still sensitive. The pressure of sheets and shoes on them make hurt. So now maintenance on the pedi will have to wait until they stop hurting. Definitely wont be going back to Top Nails even though the upgrade to paraffin and vitamin E was totally worth it.

I am so upset I really don’t know where to begin. I first had to make an appointment, I’m okay with that because of the pandemic. When showing up promptly for said appointment, I had to wait an hour and a half for someone to call me to a chair. I’m also okay with that, I’m a pretty patient person. When I get to the chair, my hand was grabbed so roughly that I raised a brow. Then she proceeded to roughly remove the polish from my nails, as I was only getting a fill-in. The drill cut my finger, and as I pulled my hand back, it was grabbed with EXTREME aggression, pulling my body forward. This I did not take too well with, but still continued to sit because I had already waited an hour and a half. As she buffed my nails, I kept checking on the nail she cut, because it was bleeding! She proceeded to scold me about checking on my finger, and when I replied I was asked to leave with such aggression, she was throwing things around and speaking in her native tongue, I almost thought she would attack me! I’m not from Indianapolis, I am from Los Angelos, California, I was visiting for a relative’s funeral and was told that this was a good saloon. They were SO wrong! DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE

They do very very good job on your nails and your feet they are very very good on their prices they even have eyebrow service I mean I had my eyebrows done which I havent had done in years so theyre really bad I had nails put on in jailed my toenails and I had my put on the nails put on for the first time and it only cost me $85 the prices are good I had a refill and it cost me 30 cuz I keep using gel now and they fixed my nails and everything so you should go there

Ive gone here since I was a teenager and its always been the best but yesterday was my worst experience by far. Paid $90 ( full set, pedi) and the guy who did it must have been new because my fingertips are literally glued to the nails, and not to mention how many times he cut my finger..

LA is the best. My friend suggested Top Nails! I had multiple bad trips to the last salon that I was a regular at, in greenwood. I went two years without getting my nails done. I will be a regular at Top nails! I got a pedicure with gel. Full set ombre, dip, and gel! Im going back to top nail tomorrow, to get my lashes done, for the first time. 😊 Great environment! Friendly and very helpful!

I absolutely love top nails. They are amazing, I have been going here for 16 plus yrs and the owner LA and Cindy are great! I live 5 minutes from VIP nails and Ive never stepped a foot inside I live in Plainfield and I drive all the way south to get my nails done so that should let you know that they are so worth it to drive so far. But I would recommend to anyone they can do anything you ask and then some so if you havent been there go in and try them I guarantee you wont go anywhere else

The massage chairs are amazing !

They will get the job done & fix anything within a certain amount of time if they make a mistake. The owners are trying very hard to keep their reputation up but it seems they cant keep employees. For whatever reason kind of like my own business they come & go & come & go again. Its not easy getting & keeping good employees. But Ive been coming here for about 7yrs now & walk out 90% of the time satisfied.

Stopped in to get a gel fill and they did an amazing job. The shape was on point and they really took their time and attention to details! Worth every dime 😃

I went to get my nails done TWO days in a row, they were rude, laughing in my face, the lady cut my finger and put something on it (I don’t know what it was), I’m diabetic so small cuts can be very fatal for me. After my voicing my displeasure, I was put out TWO DAYS IN A ROW!! TERRIBLE service!

AWFUL!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! $87 for pedicure and waxing and my 10 yr old granddaughter couldve done better job!!

I just walked out of this place feeling even worse about myself than I did when I walked in. To start off I didn’t have the extra $60 to go but thinking I would treat myself and maybe it just might help me feel better than I do.I got my pedicure and after was set at a station to wait for someone to do my nails. Setting there with my regular polish that I wanted I’m asked twice “No gel?” And after repeating myself twice “No just regular polish.” And feeling as if I’m being talked about because I don’t want the gel. The tech finally comes up to do my nails and being loud of course “NO GEL POLISH?” And again I’m asked. No I didn’t want gel polish because I didn’t have the extra money to come anyway. I already felt bad about myself and was having a rough day and now I feel like you are berating me because I don’t want to pay for gel polish. You don’t realize and probably don’t care but people come to you for a service, sometimes they may not have had the extra money to come in the first place. But they find the money and come thinking maybe you might help them feel better about themselves or their bad day. I will not be back. I AM DEFINITELY NOT HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE. Realize people pay you for a service and walking around laughing like you are berating customers is NOT GOOD SERVICE.

I was asking for something very specific. Being told it would be 90 dollars, I went for something different. My nails are bulky, trashy, and unprofessional looking. The design I got was free handed and I had to come home and fix it myself because she was too lazy to go over the colors. You couldnt see anything besides the awkwardly placed rhinestones . She rushed me through and was on her phone the entire time. Im beyond upset.EDIT: Went in the next day asking them to fix it, and he wanted to tell me I was lying about going to cosmetology school, and treat me like Im stupid because hes been in the industry for 20 years. I Payed 95 dollars and am going to have to go to another salon to get them fixed. I went in without an attitude because I just started a new job, and really need to look professional. I needed them to fix them. They refused.

I went in for a nail set. I was treated so rudely. 3 different girls asked me what i wanted. When i told them they walked away and took other clients that came in after me even though i had an appointment. When i was finally taken back the girls in the salon were talking in their native tongue and having a real good laugh. Needless do they know that i know everything they said. The prices are not up to pare with the level of service you get. My nails look like trash. There are bubbles and bumps in them. Ill never set foot back in top nails again. The total experience was a flop.

I love love love this shop. 5 star rating is because the service is excellent. There is sometimes a wait but the wait times are never long because there are so many workers in the shop. I dont have a specific tech that I go to but I have had about 4 since I started going and they were all great. This shop is one of the most expensive but the skill set is well worth it. You can take large groups here because its a nice size and enough chairs for everyone. I would recommend having an appointment but they also take walk ins. This is my favorite shop in the area

I have been here before and the gentleman who did them last time did amazing. This time the gentleman who did them did a terrible job. He tore my cuticles up and he was very sloppy. I told him my thumb nail was extremely crooked. He looked, said no & put paint on it. Very displeased to spend $40 for the outcome. Will not ever go to this nail tech again. The place is clean and they got me right in. Just be careful of the techs you choose.

First time there very happy with how my nails look and I will return. I am editing my review, this is only day 2 of my fill and I have had to repair one of my nails twice. Im not sure if I will return or not.

I went in w/ my daughter for a nice relaxing pedicure only to have extremely rude employees. This isnt my normal nail spot but hey it was open and looked decent enough. Terrible experience and legit didnt even get a top coat for 50$. At the min they cld have at least done that. What a waste of money. Def do not recommend this over priced underwhelming establishment.

I took my daughter to the new location on Emerson. I was very displeased. They only had two people working and they were both busy when we arrived and we were next in line. They set us up with water for our pedicures and by the time they got to us our water was cold and they started with me and my daughter had to wait until I was done before they started on her. We were there for over 2 hours. The paint on our nails are terrible. Just got them done today and they look like a child painted them. Will not go back totally not worth it.

I have waited over 30 twice now just to get my brows done.. the last time the wasnt busy at all. Waited almost 45 minutes. It may have been longer if I hadnt just left.

Pretty upset ive been taking my daughter to this place for 2 years.They out of nowhere started charging $20 for fill ins. I know its $5 more but my daughter was there 9 days ago, and still charged her $20 for a fill in. The tips of her nails are so thin, its like its just the plastic nail there and no acrylic, which is what they are charging for, RIGHT? Pretty upset I have to find a new place.

OWNER IS RUDE! I dont appreciate being snapped at when I ask for something that IM PAYING FOR! He needs a lesson on customer service, his wife as well. She never smiles and acts like shes annoyed. For the price you pay (HIGH) to get nails done here, I expect way better service. I switched nail places and couldnt be happier.

Its hit or miss here. I usually dont have a problem. I like Sandy for my nail design. LA is good too. Young guy (I forget his name, sorry) does good pedicures. The last time I went in, a few weeks ago, an older lady (i forget her name, sorry) did my fill and pedi with paraffin (oml) my feet felt amazing after! Going back soon! Fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞

I used to love Top Nails for their pedicures and their prices. They did excellent detailed work and the polish stayed on for a long time. But the best part was the foot soak, foot/leg scrub, hot towel, and lotion massage. They took their time and really worked my feet and legs. It was very relaxing and my skin felt great when it was finished.Last month, I waited for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me.. Then someone finally asked if anyone in the waiting area was getting pedicures. When I said yes, she said to go to one of the pedicure stations. I sat there for another 20 minutes and no one even came by to fill the foot bath for me. I couldnt wait any longer and left.I wanted to give them another chance so I went again this weekend. I went when they opened to reduce my wait... score! I was escorted to a pedicure station right away. She began working on my toenails before the water even filled the bath. She was very efficient and I didnt have any time to enjoy the foot bath. Then she dug into a toenail (probably working on a potential ingrown) until it hurt (it still hurts). She rushed through the pedicure, focusing more on the toenails than the feet and legs. The scrub was no more than 2 minutes. The hot towel reduced to about a minute. When she started to put my flip flops on my feet, I asked about the lotion and she said she was doing it next. She smeared a bit of oil on my heels and slapped some lotion on my legs with no massage, then began polishing the toe nails. The rest of my feet didnt get any lotion. There was another pedicure customer in the chair next to me - she was there when I got there and still in the chair when I left. Thats more typical of the Top Nail pedicure.I wont go back and I feel bad that Ive referred 2 friends who have become repeat customers as well.

Love the work they do and how my nails look after. I get dozens of compliments on the designs that they do freehand. Saw the colored tips and how it looked and thats my next request. To get the colored tips that have glitter in them as to look like its imbedded in the nail.

I drop off my 13 year old granddaughter to get her nails done for school on Monday about 2:30 she had her nails done the same way she always has done at happy nails for $25 they charged her $55 I went in to talk to someone about why they charged her so much and stood there for 30 minutes no one ever ask if they could help me DON’T ever use this place unless you want ripped off

I have been to many salons and this is by far my fav. There are always many techs available to work and I have never had a bad experience. I go to a new person each time and the quality is up to par. The only bad thing is that they are costly but you get what you pay for.

Awful place if you want eye brow waxing they make you wait forever. So dont go there if needing eye brows done

This place ruined my Mothers Day... After a two-and-a-half-hour wait I received poor service and the nails were of low quality... She didnt buff them down or grind off the edges and I had two that split within a week. The guy that owned the place was very loud and rude with all customers that entered the building... He went out and smoked three times in this two and a half hours, But yet a customer is not allowed to go outside for anything or they will be signed out of the order that they were in and you have to re-sign back in when you go in the store... Then he threw his phone on the ground and shattered it out of anger right in front of everybody in the store... This place needs shut down, I mean who pays to be in prison and treated so badly ? I heard him say at least 10 times while I was there - thats how he runs his business...

She cut my nails too short ! She didnt listen to anything i said and half the time she was on her phone ! The work looks fine but is nothing to what i wanted done nor or the the length i wanted ! As well as half the time she was looking off to who knows where while doing my nails !

I have never been to a shop where they call your number to come sit down at a nail table after a 20 minute wait in their waiting area. To then sit another 35min at the nail table without any service or anyone saying a word to me. Other people were seen before me as I now waited over 55min. When the nail tech finally came to service me she was rude and wouldnt stop speaking in her native tongue. Needless to say I took my money else where. As a licensed cosmetologist myself I would never recommend this salon to anyone.

They always do a really good job I just would prefer more conversation, And not everyone there is very fluent in English yet so its a little difficult, But the people are extremely nice.
