I was told 35 on the phone then my total was 55$. I got very short French nails. Also have multiple cuts on my hand and she put super glue over them which made it burn worse so now I have super glue on my hands too. My friend got a gel manicure and you can see the streaks in her polish and it was thin and going into her skin, also the French tips are too thick when I told her I wanted it thinner.

This was my first time visiting this salon and Kathy NAILed it. She was with me as soon i stepped in and i showed her what i wanted and she made it happen. She made pleasant conversation and i really enjoyed watching and talking to her. Amazing that she can carry a convo and keep the focus to provide a beautiful set. This is definitely a what i asked for vs got what i asked for and i will be back to see her!!

Day 1 and week 3 of growth.She basically scolded me and told me not to touch my nails or I was going to rub off of the matte polish. I felt so embarrassed being scolded as a 31-year-old woman in a place of business I was paying for a service here it is 3 weeks later after using all kinds of alcohol and chemicals and washing dishes and everything and the matte coating still there not sure why she felt the need to scold me after all...

Let me first start by saying, I have NEVER had such an amazing nail experience, that is until now. We’ve all gone to get our nails done before and left with something that we did not ask for/didn’t turn out how we had hoped. I promise you though, when you leave Nail Guru you will be 100% satisfied!! Kat completely blew my expectations out of the park!!! She took her time and made sure I left with EXACTLY what I was asking for. I highly recommend this salon!

This place is a waste of time and definitely your money they are rude and about 4 people worked on my nails during my visit they looked so horrible I was embarrassed I refused to pay and she never tried to fix my nails she just called the cops on me it was the most embarrassing experience in my life!!!!! And I knew she would get on here and try to lie this place is awful!! They do nothing but sit and talk bad about the customers that walk through the door..hopefully this place closes down soon it’s not a good look for the Greenwood community I would NEVER go back if this was the last nail salon on earth! I could have my 2 year old do better on my nails

There is not a nail salon any better than nail guru on the south side. I use a technician Kathy and she is absolutely amazing. If you dont check it out youre losing out

I have been coming to Kathy and Phillip for about 6 years now and they are hands down the best in the business. They are always very friendly, they take appointments and unlike most places they stick to the scheduled time. My nails always look exactly how I asked. My pedicures are something out of this world, I leave feeling very relaxed and pampered!! Would highly recommend

Kelly did my nails about 3 or so days ago, and at first I was satisfied with it I thought but o realized she added multiple polish layers. Was rushing through my entire set. Never even sent me to wash my hands with is a normal thing with sets/fills. After 1 day the polish bubbled in my nail and started to chip off, and also so cuticles look beat with the way she pushed them down. These cost me $60, and that is the most I have ever paid for a set and is the worst set I have ever had

I switched to this salon because my old one went under new management and raised their prices drastically. They did such a great job on my pedicure. And their prices are awesome ($55 deluxe gel pedi w gel removal). 100% satisfied and will return.

I love this place! I have had Kathy as my nail artist a few times, but this time I had Kim. I was AMAZED. She had such an eye for detail and took her time to sculpt very even and defined acrylics. She recommended the glitter ombré and it turned out great. I left the salon with a big smile on my face! I will be back and recommend it to friends!

My daughter and I went for the first time on Saturday and we just loved it! Philip did my pedicure and it was the best one I have ever had done! The owner did a manicure for me and it was perfect. I have been going to Nail Guru for about 8 years now maybe more. I can honestly say that they are amazing Phillip Kathy Tom and Quin are amazing. They are not my nail techs they are my friends. If I could give 10 stars I would. They are all amazing. On top of the kind of people they are they do an amazing job. I wouldn’t still be there if they didn’t. I also was there the day the girl called the police. She called because she didn’t want to pay. Her nails we not done and she didn’t have time to wait for them to be finished. And 4 people didn’t do her nails it was 2. The owner was doing them and she was mad she had to wait and she didn’t have time. Well that’s because she didn’t have an appt so they gave her one and fit her in so she knew she would have to wait and be done in between all of us w appts. Either way the police came and they knew she didn’t want to wait to get them finished and told her to pay or go to jail. So please everyone just know they do amazing and this is one max person who could of had pretty nails if she would of let them finish:)

Ok fellas. If your lady is always talking about your feet being ugly and ruff. Well Ms.Kathy will have your feet feeling and looking as smooth as silk. Hands down the best experience Ive ever had getting my feet done. Kathy and her staff are always polite, reasonably priced,and very clean an well kept. So dont put it off anymore. Come in and ask for Ms. Kathy. She will get you right.

I love this place ! I have been going here for 2 and a half years they always treat me & my 3 yr old d so good . We are family . I recommend everyone to go here when they ask me where I get my nails done .

Horrible Service!!!!!!!!!!!!!The owner is so rude and judgy. After waiting over 50 minutes passed my appointment and everyone who walked in after me had already started their service, I finally got to sit down. Then it gets worse. I have a thumb nail that is half gone (due to a bad nail tech) and she asked if I wanted a nail on there and I explained how I usually get it done. So she glued the tip on and realized it was too short then ripped it off, causing extreme amount of pain as its already damaged. I was shaking and sweati g from the pain. Through out the whole time she was very rough and made comments about my job and that I was picky about my nails. It was my first time there and I will never be back.

I have been going to see Kathy for over a year now! Her place is beautiful and clean with the biggest polish color selection I’ve ever seen! She has the best prices and makes sure you’re happy with her work! I recommend her to everyone that asks and I will remain a loyal customer. Thank you 😊

I had a wonderful first experience at the nail guru yesterday. I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by a smiling face. He asked me what I needed done and to sign my name. Then right after he had me sit down and started to soak my old acrylic nails off first. His name was Tom and he was so nice and very gentle on my skin and fingers, at other salons Ive been to they try to rip the old nails off and it hurts he did not do that. He made sure I was relaxed during my apt as well. He went over each nail with great detail until it looked to his satisfaction. He even nipped my cuticles and cleaned off all my fingers when he was done to get the stuff off and he applied cuticle oil when he was done. He did not rush or hurry but he also did not take forever. The salon was very well decorated with real flowers all over and new looking furniture. They also had a large selection of polish. I loved my experience and I will be back. Thank you so much.

First time here. I felt rushed choosing my gel color, but they turned out PERFECT so Im not even mad lol. The young pretty girl did my nails & she was VERY thorough making sure they were straight, even, and perfectly shaped. She definitely took her time & cared about her work.

I love this place my nails are perfect. I got them done a month ago and I haven’t had one chip or anything. I work at a Dairy Queen where I carry heavy boxes and crates and stuff and no matter how many times I hit one or something they are still perfect.

This place is a joke. They do NOT value their customers. People who go there clearly don’t know what good service is. Kathy does not but gossip about her customers as soon as they walk out. They have lumps in the polish from powder, can’t file correctly. I could go on!

Kathy did an amazing job on my nails. I went in for a fill in and she did amazing job. She fixed my nails because they weren’t shaped right ( I had gone to a different location with the original nails). My new to go place ! Great service, I was a very happy customer.

I dont think theyre always solid on their pricing for the little extras like cat eye BUT they came through last weekend when I brought in a party of 5 to get pedicures. They got all of us out so quickly. I was very impressed. The whole staff was working on us in the back. They got points for that visit.

Very, Very rude Casey, I believe part owner is absolutely rude. I questioned the cost of service $60 as I received regular polish pedicure and polish change on nails. They gave me 3 different prices. They said since I went somewhere else they charge to take off gel polish. She talked very loud across the shop where everyone was looking and asking me if I understood. I only questioned as being there several times I was never charged extra for taking off gel polish. I would highly recommend to not go there if you want to get talked to like a child and feel uneducated. My daughter also goes there and expresses that she is rude. All shops are dime a dozen, so we will take our money elsewhere.

I got my nails done by Quyen today and she did better than any artist I’ve had do them before. She spent over an hour taking care of me. She did an amazing design that was above what was expected. I recommend the store and her.

My mom and I where looking for a new naIL place and hadnt had any luck anywhere until we went here! We went at the busiest time and still only waited 10-15 minutes. They went above and beyond what we expected and our nails look AMAZING and they didnt charge us out of this world for them either! Also spoke to us throughout the process instead of the small talk we get at other places and they were hilarious! I would highly recommend this place!

I went to another nail salon in Indianapolis and had three nails fall off within a week or so, went to Nail Guru since it was so close by, she fixed my nails with a discount and restyled them (since the other place put some on crooked), will continue to visit, definitely worth the money. Love Mrs. Cathy and everyone here! Always friendly, jokes with me, and is on personal level. They remember customers, call them by name, always ask about family and kids. Clean facility. The facility is very clean and the nails they do are awesome. Just tell them what you want and they perfect it! I love the pedicures but I am so beyond ticklish, so I probably make it hard for them. I will never go anywhere else. Dont forget eyebrows either, they sure do a fantastic job!
