I really love this nail shop. They are kid-friendly and made my daughter feel like she was a princess. I met a lady there named Sophia and she is fabulous. If you find that you do like her make sure that you booked ahead of time because she is always the first because shes that great.
I got a pedicure here in July and about 1-2 weeks later, I developed a nail infection. My physician told me the infection was caused due to the pedicure as they over exposed my nail bed and caused injury to my toenail. I have been on 2 courses of antibiotics and am now seeing a podiatrist because I’m still having issues. I am young with no pre-existing conditions that would interfere with the healing. It is likely an MDRO. I called the salon to let them know of this so that they could work on training their staff. Vivienne, the manager told me I should have told them earlier and there is nothing they can do. I told her that I can provide her with my appointment date but she refused to accept this information. She just told me I told them too late. It’s not too late when I’m still dealing with it. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and was trying to be understanding of the situation. I wasn’t asking for anything from them, just a “just wanted to let you know” and in the process I received a cold response. I don’t think they understand the impact this has had. I’ve had to leave work for this infection several times to see my doctor along with taking antibiotics. All I was trying to do was let them know so they can work on their training and education with staff. I told her on the phone that it didn’t seem like she cared and hung up. At this point, the conversation would no longer be productive.*update: I had to get my entire toenail removed by a podiatrist*
It’s a very nice place, I went with friends and we were able to get our nails done together
I’ve had about 10 consistent scheduled appointments at the LNS. They turned me away to fix one nail where the gel polish was starting to fracture not even 24hours after my set was complete. Why have a sign that states “Walk-Ins Welcome” if they aren’t in fact, welcome? No sense of teamwork at this salon.
Have had multiple scheduled appointments be ignored and have had me waiting in excess of 20 minutes. Finally today I was fed up and just walked out. So unprofessional! ople make appointments because they have schedules to adhere. Will not plan to ever be back to this place!
This shop is clean and all of the staff are so very sweet, it feels like getting your nails done at a small business in a small town where no one is a stranger, even if you dont go often. Their prices are reasonable, it feels like a place that takes care of their staff.
Great environment and very efficient, friendly service (they recently remodeled so pics are out of date on Google). They are also kid friendly for princess parties while not disrupting the other guests. I will be going back!
Ivy is an amazing nail artist!
I went back of my second time and brought my cousin because I loved it the first time.Well, I paid $70 for nails and feet and she didnt put a top coat on and I told another lady and she said Oh yes there is or else it wouldnt have dried. Everyone was gone because it was closing time by the time we got done. They are lumpy and uneven and the shape are SO crooked. These are nails done 1 day ago. So now Im going to have to pay to fix the mess on my hands.Liv or Liz did the nails her name started with an L.
I was very unimpressed. The quality of the work done is not very good at all! My friend went with me to get my nails done for my honeymoon and since we needed a walk-in manicure spot and had heard of LNS, we decided to give it a try... It definitely was not a place we will ever go back to. Our filing, soaking, etc portion of her manicure only lasted 8 minutes and I got cut pretty badly when she was cutting my cuticles. The girls were done within 20 minutes. It just seemed like the quality doesn’t matter as much as the amount of people they serve in a day. My polish was all stuck to the sides of my nail and looked very sloppy
This is the best nail shop in town! Mr hubby actually found this place and surprised me on Valentines day. They are very professional, skilled and friendly. The atmosphere provides a spa-like comfort that is unmatched by any other Ive been to in Indy. Their prices are higher than average, but its worth EVERY PENNY. (You get what you pay for) I personally see Annie for my pedicure, and Ivy for my acrylics. Both are funny and sweet women, all the while, talented at what they do. If you want to truly pamper yourself, this is the place to be.
Visited for the first time and enjoyed it. I went around lunch time and did not wait for a gel manicure. They were were very kind and finished within the hour, as I requested.
1st time out of town customer. Shop was busy but staff worked hard and were extremely pleasant. Quality of work was fabulous. Only sad because I dont live closer.
I usually visit this place when I am here on business. It is currently under new management. I like the sleek atmosphere, but I miss the way this place used to look. It was comfy and inviting. This current appointment, I showed up 15 minutes early to pick out my colors. I felt rushed to find a color, as the tech asked me twice if I needed help. That day I was getting a gel color change on my nails and a regular pedicure. I had an excellent leg massage, that why I gave this 3 stars instead of 2 stars. Overall, I just felt rushed and my tech wasnt at all inviting. Most likely will not be back.
This place is under new management. We used to feel pampered when we visited. Now its like you are on an assembly line and they cant turn you out fast enough. Our mani-pedis were supposed to take an hour and a half. We were done in under an hour. I didnt relax and I didnt feel pampered. Will not return.
My new favorite nail shop. Very clean and spacious.
Wonderful customer service and excellent nail design! My sister and I went to get our nails done as a trial-run for her wedding. We walked in and were warmly welcomed. They did an excellent job with the lace design on my sisters nails and my french manicure. The pedicures were also relaxing and just as nicely done. I HIGHLY recommend coming here to get your nails done for special occasions or for a fun girls day. My sister and I will definitely be going back right before her special day.
My 4 year old daughter and I had pedicures today with Angie. She was so super sweet and even walked my daughter to the bathroom so I wouldn’t have to get my feet out of the water. She really pampered this pregnant mama and my feet look great! Thanks!
The Little Nail Shop is somewhere I always love to go when I want to treat myself! The staff is so personal and my nails have never looked better or felt healthier. Ivy is the nail tech I see the most and she is fabulous! However all of the nail techs are amazing as well. Treat yourself by going here!
It was different. A little over priced for a basic pedicure. Wish they had chairs that are spacious and vibrates. The lady who seated me was very nice!
This place is amazing. A comforting environment and very clean. I was a walk in, and only waited a short time. I was getting my nails done at another salon in Indy that was so dirty and had poor customer service. My previous experience was indescribable and I was desperate to find a new salon. The Little Nail Shop was a life saver!! Carmen made my nails look absolutely amazing. She gave me a new set and shaped them exactly how I wanted them. She made the acrylic thin and not chunky at my request. She was so gentle and had amazing attention to detail. Her technique was on point and worked very quickly. I was soooooo pleased with her. She really did blow my expectations out of the water after my poor experiences at another salon. Bottom line, Carmen knows what she is doing and my nails look amazing. I will be back to see her. Also, everyone in the salon was professional. It was a great experience over all. Thanks Carmen!
Lady in chair 4 rushing, cut me while trimming my acrylic not satisfied! My coffin nails looked horrible ! I did come back in 2 weeks to do a new fill and I’m satisfied! Karmen is my favorite I will give her 5 stars ❤️But I’ve noticed that if you walk in with no appt usually nails get rushed and the outcome looks bad! My advice to you try and make a appt.
Always friendly, quality work by Angie, Jackie, or Par—probably others, but I see these three. Clean, precise, careful!
I have been to dozens of salons and this is my favorite! Not only is it cute, clean and comfortable inside, but I got the best pedicure of my life with not only long, amazing massages but also the best paint job of my life! They were working hard to get everyone started quickly and were taking customers just minutes before close. The whole staff was also extremely friendly! I will never go anywhere else again!
My person painted on of my feet one more layer. So my toes are two different shapes of purple on each foot. It’s trash it looks very bad. For $25, I am very very angry and disappointed. I am warning No one come to LITTLE NAIL SHOP!!! The people are rude and don’t do a good job. Very disappointed with the quality of my nails. I am now embarrassed For my winter vacation. Very disappointed to not come here
Love Jackie... shes the best... very calming atmosphere... staff are all very kind and helpful.
I dont know if the other review was meant for another shop as the reviewer had a different name down? I went to Little Nail Shop this morning and it was wonderful! It is the cutest little nail shop, absolutely PERFECT for bachelorette parties, girls day out or even little girls birthday parties (which they help to host). My tech (Kathy) was very friendly and did a wonderful job on my nails. I cant wait to go back and take my little girls. The place is beautifully decorated, they are going to love it.
I would have given them ZERO stars! the lady was literally shouting at my daughter and later shouting at me to “pick a nail color”! When I voiced my rejection to the staff standing in the counter, all she did is she said sorry! It was my first time and is definitely my last!I dont care if your service is good as long as you don’t know how to treat your customers!
I have never had a bad tech at this salon!
I have gone to Little Nail Shop three times. The first two times were wonderful! I even brought my five what old daughter because of the wonderful atmosphere and acrylic-free salon! Nail techs were SO friendly and talkative! (Something thats hard to find at a nail salon) I was never disappointed, until today. I went with a friend and upon entering, I could tell it had changed. (Ownership, maybe?) It smelled so strongly of acrylic fumes. I went to my nail tech to get a gel manicure. She spoke maybe ten words to me the entire time and made me feel very uncomfortable, both with her ripping my cuticles apart and pushing my hand away when she needed the other. She did a mediocre job on my nails, and then when it came to using lotion on my hands and arms, should actually poured pure acetone all over my arm! She said oops! And just added lotion and CONTINUED RUBBING THE ACETONE INTO MY SKIN. At that point I was getting livid. I finished, and left with my entire left arm burning. Im extremely disappointed and my friend and I will not be returning. Worst experience at a nail salon.
Beautiful open place
My 4 year old daughter and I really enjoyed getting our nails done here
Paid $35 plus tip for a gel manicure and have to wonder if it was even gel, since it started chipping within one day and peeling up at the sides within 3. Completely peeled off by day 4. Normally I go elsewhere and pay $25 and it lasts 2+ weeks. They are definitely doing something wrong as the peeling and chipping happened when I was typing on a keyboard or other non-abrasive activities. The salon itself is cute and I thought the technician was nice but ultimately that doesnt help if my nails look like trash almost immediately. Wont return and do not recommend.
This place has amazing service, and decorations. Pottery barn double lounge chairs for each station makes for a relaxing time.
Love the big comfy chairs. Its so cute in here! Got a great mani and pedi. Will be back!
Ivy is fabulous with her great consultative abilities and nail techniques!
Professional, friendly salon. Key is my go-to guy for gel dip nails and relaxing pedicures.
The little nail shop is adorable. My nails looked great and everybody was really friendly.
I didnt want to write a negative review for the Little Nail Shop, because I really did enjoy my first experience, so much in fact that I went back to get my nails done for my wedding. Unfortunately, my second experience wasnt great. My toe nails were cut way too short and my my cuticles were manipulated so much that they bled and hurt for the next 2-3 days (including my wedding day). I called, but there was no resolution or much of an apology. Weeks later when I tried to remove polish (it was not supposed to be gel) some of it would not come off, even after soaking. I called and was told they had no idea why that would happen. They invited me to come in to have it taken off, but thinking back to my painful (and expensive) experience, Ill likely just go elsewhere or wait for it to grow out.
Great nail shop! Too bad its so far for me to get my regular mani/pedis done here! Open another location out west! ;)
I love this place! Ppl here are really nice and fun to be around. Only thing missing, is champagne!
The location is good, the salon is very clean. I will return.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Highly disappointed. I had a $100 gift certificate I received. Expires in 2020 Went tonight and received about the most blah pedicure ever. When I went to pay with my gift certificate I was told they are no longer accepting gift certificates as they bought the place and will not honor ones that were sold from the previous owners. She said they posted online they quit honoring them at the end of they year. So I paid my $55. To make it worse I checked the site and it states they will not honor gift certificates after a year. Problem with that is there is no date issued. Only an expiration. So I just spent a lot on an ok pedi and have a useless $100 gift certificate. I should also add that this was donated to a charity auction so the old owners didnt even receive $ for it. But luckily the charity did.If you purchase a business you should be purchasing everything that goes with it. Its not the customers fault you made a bad business decision and didnt get compensation for gift certificates already sold by the previous owner. Otherwise start a new business.
Most relaxed Ive been in months and my toes look and feel wonderful! !
Had a problem and they fixed it. Great customer service. I will visit again.
Excellent service. Comfortable setting.
I had an appointment for a Pampered Pedicure on Saturday March 9th at 2pm. The place was recommended by mother, and I went in with high hopes for my first appointment. I left less than happy. According to their website and the description of the pampered pedicure you get 50 minutes of time, a unique micro-dermabrasion treatment, and extra work on calluses. I arrived at the shop 10 minutes before my appointment. I waited until 2:10 for my technician to get to me and I got what seemed to be their basic pedicure- there was no micro-dermabrasion treatment or treatment for my calluses. I dont know if there was a communication error but I only spent about 30 minutes in the chair. I left the shop at 2:45. The girl who did my pedicure, seemed rushed, was constantly looking around the room and just came across as unfriendly. I tried to make conversation but she did not seem to want to talk and so I let her be. I understand that it was a Saturday and that can be a busy day for them but I paid for that time and I feel like it wasnt a relaxing experience nor what I expected based on the description of their services. My nails, however, look professionally done and the color I chose came out nice.
I wanted a gel set of nails and they acted as if they didnt understand what I was asking for, and instead of giving me a gel set like I asked for she gave me crooked shaped, acrylic dipped, gel overlay nails. I was very displeased with their services and the way I was treated by the receptionist when I tried to point out the problem. I will NOT BE RETURNING I hope no one else has to endure the problematic issues that I went through.
My favorite nail shop for 13 years!
Beautiful atmosphere, setting and staff!
The best nail shop around.
My nail tech Carmen is the best!
Beautiful- Well Experienced- Left Happy Again!!!
Wonderful people, ultra talented, kind and helpful.
