I have been looking for a good nail salon since I’ve been living in Indy for the past four years, I’ve gone to so many places and almost every time I have to go home and fix something about my nails. City Nail Bar is now the salon I will always go to! They provided such excellent service and Diamond and MacKenzie both made my nails look better than I had hoped for! They were very friendly and I couldn’t have asked for better nail techs. I definitely recommend City Nail Bar for all your nail needs!

City Nail Bar provided great customer service and I love my nails! I had a five star experience from scheduling through check out. I called to schedule and my call was answered quickly and the gentleman scheduling my appointment was very nice. I had gel on my nails from a different salon that was difficult to remove and my nail techs did a great job removing it without harming my nails. The gel they placed looks fantastic. I highly recommend this salon over other “natural nail bars” in the city, as I did not have great experiences with other salons and they certainly did not do a high quality job at the other salon. I look forward to more services here in the future!

I would highly recommend the apres gel x extensions to anyone who likes the look of acrylics but doesnt want to damage their nails excessively. Thank you so much to Madison for doing an amazing job. I’ve been going to nail salons for over ten years all over the country and even out of the country. My experience at this salon has been the best that I have ever had. From the clean salon and cute decor, the friendliness and patience of everyone I interacted with (at least three employees), the quality of my gel manicure (REAL gel btw…not “gel powder” whatever that scam is), and my phenomenal technician Alinda…this was the best experience, truly. The care for natural nails here is impeccable. No drills! Alinda was patient, sweet as candy, and I could tell that she was a perfectionist and wanted to be sure I was satisfied with my manicure, which I very much am. Please check this place out if you’re looking for luxury quality nails and service at (in my opinion) a reasonable price.

I was going to this location with a friend to get my nails done for her wedding, it was very important that I get them done at the same time having the fact that next week I’m leaving to go to Vegas and couldn’t book another time. I ran slightly late and because of that the lady was so unprofessional and rude to me and she charge me anyways for the $30. And the reason I was late was because I had to go take my kids to the hospital. If that’s the kind of services at this place runs and it’s that unprofessional and that rude to a client somebody like me who goes there all the time and why would anybody go there?

DO NOT GO HERE. My wife booked this for her and her bridesmaids in MARCH for a wedding in August. Spoke with staff multiple times and spent close to $800 leading up to the wedding to call and find out that THEY CANCELLED ON HER WITHOUT CALLING HER. Completely unprofessional business who forced us into a HORRIBLE situation the week of our wedding. Never returning and sad to say that we ever spent any money here.

I normally critique nail salons based on customer service, hygiene, and how long my manicure lasts. Thankfully, this establishment was an A+ in all areas. Also, the location is convenient with it being in downtown.

I have been coming here for years and my nails are in the best shape of my life. I love the professional and kind service I receive here and reccomend them to everyone.

I got a pedicure and had a great experience in the salon. I waited the whole time under the dryer and didn’t wear socks for 24 hours. However, the next day after wearing socks, my nail polish had stuck to them! This messed up the polish and had fuzz all over my nails. Not sure what caused this, maybe a bad polish? Either way it was sad to have my nails ruined so soon after getting them done.

Best gel mani I’ve ever had!! I have thin/sensitive nail beds and gel usually comes off in a couple of days but Brittany gave me a flawless gel mani that is still going strong after a week in the pool/at the beach. I highly recommend this place!!

Have been getting my nails done here regularly for several months now. Initially was hesitant to gel polish due to having a damaged nail, however staff took the time to provide individualized mani & nail has completely healed! Nothing but great things to say! Appointment is required, however this is clear on business website and social media pages. Very easy to make appointment online, recommend scheduling several days out to ensure availability. Skilled, friendly, and detail oriented employees. Gel manicures that last up to 3 weeks with no chipping. It’s appreciated and apparent that business takes covid precautions seriously; temp check and hand sanitize at time of arrival. Owner and staff also on top of the game with regularly cleaning salon and between customers. Highly recommend!!

I had an appointment today with Katie at 11:00 am to get a pedicure. Originally, I had an appointment scheduled for Monday but did not attend. When I went in this morning, everything appeared to be okay. Katie was very nice and fun to speak with but I was not pleased with my pedicure. I have received two pedicures that I loved from Aleigha before having my final pedicure with Katie. Katie agreed to correct my pedicure but it still was not great. I do not have a problem with Katie, I would just prefer someone else at the nail bar to do my pedicure in the near future. I expressed this with the owner of the salon (Jodie) and she offered to schedule another appointment the same day. As a medical student, I do not have to time to come in twice for a pedicure. I wanted the polish taken off of my nails and for them to be polished again because they were smudged under the dryer after Katie removed the toe separators before I sat under the dryer. Normally, the toe separators are removed after the pedicure is completed. It was an easy fix that could have been handled immediately. Jodie the owner of the salon was unprofessional and rude. She indicated that she could charge me a no show fee of $45.00 in addition to the $45.00 that I was paying for the pedicure. I agreed to pay both fees totaling $90.00 today. However, Jodie indicated that she would call the police on me in front of several other customers. Jodie immediately jumped out of her seat aggressively and showed me the door. I told her that I would pay the $90.00 because I understand the value of time. Also, people need to get paid when they render a service especially given the current pandemic. I was not happy with the pedicure and would have loved for them to correct it during my appointment. Instead, Jodie took it as an opportunity to exhibit poor behavior. Jodie refused payment and she said that should would contact the police repeatedly after showing me the door and wishing me a Merry Christmas. My experience was horrible with the owner of this salon. The employees are great, it is the owner that needs to be fired from her own salon. This experience was incredibly degrading and I would not recommend this salon to anyone, particularly people of color. Jodie has horrible communication skills and displays negative energy in addition to being unprofessional. Save yourself sometime and go to another nail salon because the owner of the salon (Jodie) is awful.

I had an appointment two days ago for a pedicure and unfortunately my car wasnt starting due to a battery problem-the battery was dead, the car wasnt working!- because of the freezing weather. I asked not to be charged because it wasnt in my control to cancel but I was charged...I called again and explained my situation and requested a refund but no! I even proposed to show a proof that I got help from my insurance companys rescue line to start my car but no! If the fee was refunded, I would reschedule and have my pedicure.Robotic responses and no understanding of being a human and having problems out of your control. Again, it was out of my control!I wont be going there anymore!

I started going in October and am so addicted- I started with peeling broken nails and after a set of apres X extension and then the natural nail enhancements, my nails are so healthy! Also love the pedicures. I’ve never had such pretty natural nails and love how clean and safe I feel there. Everyone is always so kind and welcoming ❤️

I have been to City nail bar 3-4times and it’s always been an average experience with the way they did my nails. As this place is the closest and most convenient place to get my nails done, I opted to go there.The experience that I had today was one of the worst I would ever have! I was less than 20 mins late and I had actually called them about this delay.The way I was treated by the owner of this nail bar was just epic! I have never met such a mean, and unprofessional person in my life. She also talks mean things about her customers behind their backs which is such a classless behavior.Relax, Jodi! You are just doing nails, not saving lives.🙏🏻

Diamond did my nails and did an awesome job. I’ll definitely go back! I was greeted by name and seated with Diamond right away. The salon was very clean and everyone friendly and professional.

My mother passed away the day before my appointment and I tried to reschedule as soon as I got the news. After 5 failed calls yesterday and an email and 5 more calls today, I finally got ahold of someone who refused to allow me to even reschedule without charging me a cancelation fee. I understand the 24hr policy and that the random nail tech (I didnt specify anyone, just who was available) makes their living on appointments, but I surely didnt anticipatemy mom dying. I have the screenshots of my call log and email history showing I tried to get ahold of them and couldnt. I offered to bring up a death certificate in the coming days as proof and was told I was a liar. I will never use this nail salon and do not recommend to anyone.

Had Nails on for 3 days and had already broken two nails, I move to different side of town so I was trying out different spots this one I definitely do not recommend within because within 5 days I had broken Vi Nails

This is my favorite spot in the city. Always leave with a perfect mani/pedi. I am very picky about my nails and I never have any complaints! Great customer service!!

People, this place is very cute. It is appointment based only. It was clean, and the staff was nice. The owner helped me book my appointment for the same day as I had an event to attend later that evening. They all even let me sleep as Michell (Nail Technician) was providing my pedicure!! Thats what I get for 4 hours of sleep 😴 off a rollercoaster of an airplane ride from Austin. They serve beverages and have cute pop ups too! I was not as impressed with the color selection for gel, but they had the neutral colors I was going for, so it worked. And please, that that with a grain of salt. Im from Austin where my go-to Salon has an entire wall of color selectionsOver all - great nails ( by Michelle), great atmosphere, great music, friendly staff and convenient location!I will come back when Im in town. I called and got a same day lunch appointment, and Christina was wonderful! so friendly and the set of Apres nails is SO much better than acrylic. Theyre lighter and smoother and look way more natural. I couldnt be happier.

Great location. Nice spa. They have put in place many measures to protect customers and employees. But, the nail technician wore a mask, but didnt have it over their nose? How does that protect anyone? Requested a gel pedicure, but nail tech misunderstood and gave me regular polish. I had to request it do be redone with gel. I asked for just clear regular polish for my manicure and they suggested just a buff/shine instead. I tried it but wasnt a fan. They buffed so hard it hurt. There is was a shine but no protection on nail. I will likely put on polish to protect and strengthen nail. I would give this salon another chance, but I will request a different tech.

I went here with my friend. We were late due to unexpected road closures, and they refused to see us. We were still well within our original appointment window, and even after offering to pay full price for abbreviated services, they still refused. Only after pleading did they shrug their shoulders and agree to let us come in. While I expected to receive less pampering, I did not expect to receive a smudged, base-coat free pedicure. For the high prices they charged, I expected a lot more courtesy, professionalism, and empathy, especially during these hard times we’re living in. The place was clean and nice, but the rudeness from the front desk person and terrible pedicure I received made me never want to return nor recommend it to anyone.

I came here looking to get nail extensions because acrylics are too thick for me, and I saw that this salon does the gel X extensions. This is easily the best manicure I’ve had, they did my cuticles for me, and they even worked with me and didn’t have me reschedule when I forgot to book an acrylic removal, on top of the extension appointment. I forgot to get the name of the person who did my nails, but he took his time, paid attention to detail, and made sure I was happy with my shape and length, so my nails look AMAZING. This is my go to place now, definitely worth it if you’re looking for a good nail salon.

City Nail Bar is literally THE best. I won’t go anywhere else. It is incredibly clean and they are following 100% of CDC guidelines. They are respectful of appointment times by getting you in and out to allow for social distancing, all while giving you an amazing mani/pedi. Front desk service is always friendly and helpful. If your looking for a recommendation on a nail technician... ask for Hunter! He’s so good! I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

I love everything about the service and experience at City Nail Bar. The atmosphere and personal attention are unlike any other nail salon in the city. Jody is my favorite technician. I appreciate her calming demeanor and attention to detail. Plus she told me about the buff and shine, which is the best day-to-day look for a female professional in my opinion. City Nail Bar is worth every penny!!

Recently got a mani and pedi here and had a great experience! In the past, when I would get a gel manicure at other salons, it would last 5-7 days at best. Here I am, 2 weeks out from my appointment and my nails still look great! I used to get so discouraged being disappointed after nail appointments that I hadn’t gotten them done for at least a year. I was so pleased with my services and the products used at City Nail Bar, I will definitely be back!

I have been here multiple times, both on my lunch break from work downtown (which they can specifically schedule for and they get you in and out!) and for a longer, more relaxed Saturday afternoon mani/pedi. This place is always clean, they do a beautiful job, and they stand by their work. If your gel nails chip, they will fix them. I love this salon and will continue to go back!

Unfortunately this was one of the worst manicures Ive ever received. Polish was lumpy and had fuzz in it. Pictures were taken immediately after I left. Was cut twice and gel polish started peeling off immediately. Super disappointed.

Had a great experience here! I organized a group reservation through Jodi in advance. 4 stars instead of 5 because their website said 20 and we were charged 22 for manicures, also 2 dollars more than listed online for pedicures. Also, be aware they dont do acrylics, but I think that is great. Also their salon sells awesome homemade scrunchies that are made by someone local and they are top notch!

I absolutely love this place, the staff, and the owner! It’s clean, modern, they use top quality polish, and the technicians are wonderful. Their natural nail enhancement saved my nails after years of dip powder.

Decided to try somewhere different than the place I’ve been going to for YEARS. And if you know me, you know once I get comfortable somewhere I won’t switch. Like I am as stubborn as they get. Today I was running short on time and so I (cringingly) had to decide if I wanted to put my nails off even longer or just go outside my comfort zone and give someone else a chance. Welp, consider me switched AND COMFORTABLE because City Nail Bar is just fabulous in every way. SO friendly when I called to make an appointment, started on time when I got there, and ONLY took 25 min. HIGHLY recommend Hunter. He did amazing. I know there’s no such thing as perfect but I’m seriously in awe with how comfortable I already feel and how well done my nails are. Thank you Hunter so much for making my hands feel pretty and the genuine conversation. He’s pretty funny too and just makes ya feel like you’ve known him longer. I’m seriously just so happy with my experience. 🥰

I’d heard great things about City Nail Bar And asked for a gift certificate for my birthday. I got around to scheduling (online, love that feature) and saw Michelle today for a Basic Manicure w/ gel polish. She did fantastic work. I’ve neglected my nails for a few months and it showed. She did a soft natural square shape and you’d never know my cuticles were over grown before. $37 service cost, I give City Nail Bar 10/10

If you’re looking for a nail salon downtown, look no further. I’ve always had a great experience here. The technicians are friendly and quick. I usually pop in for lunch to get gel nails done and it takes about 45 minutes. Amazing!

This place was very clean and I was greeted warmly by the staff. My technician, Tashina did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. Im from out of town otherwise this would be a spot I would visit again. It is also quite reasonably priced, in my opinion.

I had a fantastic visit there and really enjoyed the process. Scheduling online was easy and same day appointments were available. When I arrived, there was no wait at all and I was in and out in an hour for a gel manicure. The shop was very clean and my technician, Leah, was very thorough and personable. I will be back for sure!

First time here. Came in for a color change. I didnt catch the nail techs name, but she was really nice! She did a really good job and she was very personable. It took less than 30 minutes. Love how unique this nail salon is and how diverse it is!

They do not remove nails here due to no usage of drills.

What a beautiful new nail salon so close to down town! The chairs are super comfy and the staff was amazing and friendly from the second I walked in the door! I got a classic gel pedi from Madison and she was awesome! She was very sweet and did a great job with my pedicure! I will definitely be going back.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, how they use an autoclave to sterilize equipment and their other hygienic practices, and the AMAZING manicure I got. I chose the “luxe” gel manicure by Katie, which included: basic manicure essentials + sugar scrub + hand mask + massage. It was heaven and Katie was so friendly and personable. I truly had the best experience and will be going to her for my manicures from now on!

My technician did not use any kind of cuticle softener before trimming my cuticles- it was like I paid for a manicure but received a color change. Also very few color options for gel. Will not go back.

This place is clean, easy to get to and book an appointment, and really awesome service. Seriously one on the best gel manicures Ive ever had. The problem is that is started chipping the very next day. I have a couple other of friends who have had this problem at Nail Bar. I really think its the product, not the service. Change the polish brand and this would be the best nail salon in Indy.

I had Lisa, and I left with my nails being perfect. I got both the express mani and pedi, and it felt like I got the full care: nothing skimped. The color options are great and the Bio brand they carry is great quality. Everyone was very welcoming the moment I walked in and all throughout my services. I’ll definitely be returning!

Micah was very thorough and did a great job w/my mani/pedi. The owner, Jody, was helpful and personally wrapped my feet in saran wrap to make sure my pedicure wasnt ruined in my walk in the rain to my car. I love that you can book appointments online. My only complaint is that the pedicure chairs/feet rests were not very comfortable, but the excellent service made up for it. I wish there was parking; however, Whole Foods parking is free for 2 hrs & will validate if you buy something, and there is some street parking available out front.

I’ve been 2 times to nail bar and while I liked my mani and pedi I was a bit uncomfortable with a couple of things. First the front desk area has check Jen customers AND customers selecting nail colors it was extremely distressing to me to have so many ppl around one area. I felt like I was in everyone’s way and they definitely were in my way! lol Secondly, I don’t like that they speak about you & your visit to each other in a foreign language. I need to know what is being said when discussing my appointment!! I had no idea what I was going to get even though I communicated what I wanted. I do like the efficiency and skill of the nail bar. I would love to go here but I need to have my PATIENCE in check that day.
