I’ve been going there for years and using Shelby. During the many years I went there Shelby turned my hair orange. At least two times I had to go back (free of charge for color correction) to correct the color. I only get my hair trimmed every few visits. My hair grows very slowly so I was excited that it had reached a certain level. I hadn’t had a trim for some time and Shelby asked if we were going to do a cut this time. I said yes Every time she cut before she took off shavings. She took off over 3 1/2 inches. That will take me years to grow back. It’s sad that after going there for years, I have to remind her that my hair grows slowly and don’t “cut” it. They pretend to care but don’t really know you.

Lovely experience at this Aveda spa near Geist Marina. I got a bombshell pedicure and a tropitini --- a mixed vodka drink. Non alcoholic beverages are also available. My feet felt brand new. I cant wait to come back and experience more spa services (facials, botox/fillers, massage, and hair). Free parking.

I just had a facial done by Anna and oh my word! One of the best facials I have had to date! She made me feel so relaxed and my face looks fabulous! She gave me great recommendations on upkeep. I 1000% recommend going to see Anna at the Beauty Bar!

Had massage, it was awesome. I felt a bit weird as the place was very obviously geared towards women. It since it was a gift from my wife, I had to pull it together and go inside. The ladies were all very nice at the front desk and never made me feel a bit weird.The massage was done by a very skilled and obvious professional! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I received a mudslide pedicure with Kelly on 3/17/21. She did a wonderful job. The staff was very nice and continued to offer me water and made sure I was okay. The service was very relaxing and worth the money spent. Ill definitely go back for Kelly.

I booked an appointment with Hope. I needed my extremely curly hair colored and trimmed. She was very nice and explained everything before she did each step of the process. I had a great conversation and didnt hesitate to book my next appointment. I love how my hair looks and feels. Thanks Hope for such a great job!

I visited beauty bar today for a facial/chemical peel. This was my first time here and I was very impressed. Anna did an amazing job, I was relaxed the whole time. I will definitely be going back again!

The lady who did my nails was great and very friendly, the drinks were great. My dip manicure looked amazing until 3 days later it started chipping off of 2 nails then within the next 2-3 days almost half of them were chipped. I feel like it shouldn’t happen after that short period of time

I just moved to the area and usually opt Aveda Salons - Beauty Bar was a great experience! Everyone I interacted with was friendly, they offer a wide range of services, and my stylist Kelly Ann did a fantastic job cutting my long curly hair. I will definitely be going back for my next haircut and for other nail/spa services.

Always friendly. Whitney is absolutely amazing. Her memory and attention to detail are fantastic and she cares about how she sends you out. Down to earth goodness. Havent noticed much turnover all around and everyone seems to enjoy being there. I have a tough schedule of travel and they are always so willing to work around it and make it happen and they are so personal! Ive been going here for 3 years now and its the only place Ive ever had my hair cut more than twice. Solid and consistent every time.

Love this salon! Ive only gotten my hair done here so I cant speak for their other services but the experience was great. The space is really cute and comfortable. They also took all precautions regarding COVID.

I was scheduled for a pedicure first, and then a manicure. The tech that did my service was friendly (she had good intentions), but I felt like she asked way too personal of questions, which is unprofessional in my opinion. Such as, immediately asking me if my pregnancy was an accident or planned, not even 10 minutes into my service, barely knowing me at all. I just personally find that to be inappropriate and possibly offensive to some people. It is none of her business. The pedicure wasn’t overly comfortable and left the skin on my toes feeling raw and looked super red.Then when this (same) tech did my dip manicure she did not put a base coat of dip on... so therefore all of the top (shiny) coat peeled completely off within an hour of me leaving. Not only that, but after the tech put lotion on my hands and massaged them, there was so much lotion left on my hands I felt like I couldn’t touch anything for fear of smearing lotion all over it. So, I excused myself to the restroom to wash my hands. I usually get my nails done elsewhere and they always wipe my hands with a warm towel afterward so my hands aren’t all slippery with excess lotion. Upon getting to the bathroom and looking at my fingers, my hands were a mess and covered in excess dip powder everywhere. I would have taken a picture, but my hands were so covered in lotion and powder, I didn’t want to get it all over my phone. And, really, I’m not very impressed with how the manicure looks. I’ve been getting dip done for a couple of years now, and haven’t left a place feeling this disappointed before.Just overall my services were NOT worth the $80. I am very appreciative that they got me in the next day to put the top coat back on my nails and fix it (the tech that fixed my nails was pleasant), but that shouldn’t even happen when the original nail tech swore up and down and she was sooooo good at dip manicures. It was inconvenient coming back as I had plans and didn’t even really have time to come back in, but didn’t want my nails looking the way they did.Overall not very pleased with my experience, and I will not be returning. There are lots of other places to get your nails done, for a little less expensive, and way better experience. Feeling very disappointed, and wasted a lot of money. I only gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because they got me in to fix the top coat the next day.

To begin, I would like to note that I received a good cut from a positive and patient stylist at the beauty bar (thus, the two star rating). Additionally, all the staff I interacted with were friendly and appeared to desire wanting to give the best service. Nonetheless, I feel that others should be informed to check, and double check, the pricing of their services beforehand. While initially, a pricing mixup was believed to be resolved before my appointment occurred, upon attempting to pay for my service, this was not the case and a credit I was informed would be added to my account had not been. Additionally, when getting an express Brazilian, I was left with significant white clumps of some form of tacky substance shedding from my hair, even now at two days later. This has never happened with any prior salon service I have received and no products were placed in my hair after the straightening process of the Brazilian.

This place is fantastic! I had my first appointment there since my old salon closed, and was blown away by the professionalism of the staff and the clean, friendly atmosphere. Kylie cut my hair and I am extremely happy with th let result. She knew exactly how to work with my thick, wavy hair. I would highly recommend working with her, she definitely knows her stuff!

Wow. Wow. WOW. Is all I can honestly say...the service? Wow. The beauty of the Beauty Bar? Wow. The drink menu? I mean...come on. WOW. Even the receptionists were great! I had a wonderful time. Everyone was so sweet, and welcoming - Im obsessed, and DEFINITELY coming back. A LOT.

The girls and I got our hair and makeup done for my wedding here. The staff was very nice and all the stylists were wonderful! Everyone looked lovely.

This is definitely a nice clean salon, and I was happy with the service. The bar is a nice touch, and polish selection is nice. They offer a few cocktail and wine selections, but also have soda and water. The pedicure station includes reclining massage seats which you can set to your preference. I felt very relaxed and pampered and my nails look great!

Went for the first time today. Very nice place with lots to offer and friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back.

I asked for someone with experience. I asked balayage with cooler tones. Instead I have sections where the color starts 1 inch down and others where it goes to the roots. I can’t part my hair where I normally do because of the unevenness of the color.

Such a great team! And even better service!! Used to go to one of your typical walk in nail salons, but was so upset with how unprofessional and how quick the service was. You could tell how quick the service was because my nails would look like a two year old did them and they would chip just a few days later! Nail bar ladies take their time so they make sure the polish is set and every inch of the nail is covered. No rushing, no unprofessional service, and very good polish quality! Definitely reccomend this place!! Its a tad bit pricier than most places, but that quality experience and treatment youre getting is worth it!!

Went here last week to get extensions. I worked with Rachel. And all I can say is....shes phenomenal!! Not only is she professional, But she was very engaging, friendly and informative.Ive never gotten extensions before so she took the time (with extreme patience I might add) to answer allllllll my questions. She listened to my hopes for the experience and walked me through what to expect. And her work is meticulous. Youre going to have to bring your wallet...but trust me when I say you get what you pay for. The quality of the hair and work....WORTH every single penny.My only recommendation...give her the reigns. Seriously. I told her to run with her creativity bc I was so inexperienced....and now, every single person stops me to compliment my hair. I FEEL SO PRETTY!Now....for the general staff- Very professional and friendly. I was pleased with my experience with each person I encountered. Im pretty sure I wont go anywhere else for a while.So my overall...I recommend!!!

I went to get my hair and makeup done for my brothers wedding and i loved the make up so the girl who did my make up i can give her 5 stars but the lady who did my hair no stars cz she didnt have an idea how to do the hairstyle that i asked for ... she did put tons of spray on my hair but my hair just lasted like 2 or 3 hrs.... so i wouldnt reccomen this plafe i wonder why do they have 4+ stars
