I haven’t received my mail in more than a week and a half. They blamed it on me that I haven’t been checking mail or letting it pile up which I haven’t. She said they don’t know when I get mail even with the online option. I work from home and check daily. My neighbors are missing mail but I guess in the post offices eyes I’m lying. Don’t try and submit a request online for assistance I got that response. It’s all my fault. All my bills are missing and it’s showing in the view finder but they have no idea where it is.
Teal was a rockstar and helped us with a big drop off. I’ve never had a long wait and the staff is always friendly and willing to help

Havent had any major problems. Half the workers are great, half are super lazy and try to avoid doing any work. Wait times can be long due to the location.
Who ever runs the north new jersey and 500 block of mass ave route needs to do a better job of allocating time on the route, or redistribute the routes internally no reason why standard mail delivery should be arriving at 7p almost on a daily basis
I walked in off the streets looking for information on renting a PO BOX. There was zero wait time and the ladies inside at this location were very friendly and informative.
Something is very wrong with the address sorter here. Not sure if its a machine or not but about 2 years ago my office started having serious issues with returned mail. We get a ridiculous amount of returned mail that says the address is unknown, not found, partial/incorrect even though we know for a fact that they are correct and valid. We also get returned mail as much as 3 months after we mailed it. Several complaints by our entire office building have not generated any solutions.The actual office is nice, clean, and has helpful staff but the sorting issue costs us a good amount of money so I am going to be taking our mail to other locations to send out.

If your mail is too large to fit in the mailbox they just throw it on the ground outside. Considering this is the city your package obviously gets stolen. And thats even if they make an attempt to actually deliver it. Youre a rare and lucky case if they do that. As of 46 scheduled package deliveries to my apartment, theyve successfully delivered exactly 0. Your best bet is to go and pick it up in person. If your package is overnight shipping, youve wasted all that extra money. They wont deliver it to your house, especially not in a time frame that meets the overnight shipping definition. If you have a job and your hours dont permit you to drop everything to go to this post office and do their job for them, your package is getting sent back from where it came. Customer service is rude, unprofessional, uneducated, and will yell at you depending on the kind of day theyre having. If you see on your package tracking that its been processed through this post office, youre just going to have to chalk it up as an L. Youre not getting it.
I love this location! I own a store and ship out items about every other day. When I moved out East I started going to another location closer to my new home, but they were so grumpy and rude. I have started driving the extra 15/20 minutes just to come back to this location! They know me by name and always have a smile on their face! Cheryl, Steve, and Jayla are awesome!!! Thanks guys!
Dont listen to 90% of the butthurt.The post office is great. They dont close early and are friendly and do their job well.If you sit there taking 30 minutes knowing nothing about what your doing and barely have your information organized when trying to ship something, its your fault. Not theirs.
Forgot to put postage on my package and put it in a collection box. Lady at this post office was so kind and understanding to my dilemma. She personally took my info and called the mail carrier about it. I got my package back same day and everything. Thanks again!
This is a good post office. The people who work here are friendly, funny, and helpful. Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews on here.If you go around 10 am, it may take longer because fewer people are at the window. But that doesnt mean people arent trying to help you.Also they didnt have air-conditioning this summer, and even under these uncomfortable conditions they were still friendly and provided great service.
Getting Worst Everyday!!This Local Post Office is Down Right Awful ! Its Incompetently ran.This Place needs to Fire Useless, Lazy, Non focused, Rude, Incompetently Skilled Workers!! They Continuously Lose Mail, Lose and misplace packages in their Hub and between Route Drivers. Deliver packages to wrong addresses then scan, saying they were delivered to the right one.They are very unskilled and misuse their Scanners, Making Mistakes while scanning out in the Field and at their Hub! They delivered 2 packages of mine, I answered my door and took them. Within seconds I get a Text saying I refused these Packages!!?? The senders were upset thinking I refused their Packages!! I had to take time, email these companies and explain this Blunder!! They Have No regard for their Highly paid Positions, No regard for Our Legal right to having Our Mail Delivered Properly, No regards for their customers. This is Totally Unacceptable!! They all need to Be Fired! The Postmaster General Needs to investigate this Facility and workers!! I havent been reimbursed for any Losses, I havent been apologized to and havent I gotten my Lost mail!! GONE! Ive been given nothing but I dont knows and well talk to somebody about this!!?? No call back no Nothing!! BEWARE, this Place is TERRIBLE!!
Always been an in and out process whenever I send packages from this location. Of course I can understand if the staff isnt wearing big plastic happy faces. Its the post office. Theyve always been as nice as one can expect, and very quick.
Didn’t deliver package. Was told to pick it up and spent 13 bucks to be told it was being delivered. Could have found that out with the 8 unanswered calls before I headed up their.
First of all, I want to say that I usually have a good experience with this place whenever I come in to drop off mail. However, my experience was completely different when I tried to establish new mail service over the phone. I was put on hold for fifteen minutes on my first call, which probably means they completely forgot about me. I called back to explain to them what happened, and I did not even get an apology or an explanation. To make things worse, the lady who answered the phone was very impolite and very snappy. I even told her that if this was too much for her, I can call another day, which she didnt even acknowledge. I understand that their line of work can be hectic, but it should never be at the expense of the customer whose time is valuable as well.
I was hesitant to go to this post office based on all of the reviews but I found them to be as friendly and helpful as any other in the city. I only waited 5 minutes and then were about 10 people in front of me. Im not going into business is to be treated like a king nor have my butt kissed I just want my letter mailed.
They are always very kind and helpful at this location. They are very quick too! I never spend more than 5-10 mins in here even if there is a long line.
I come here on my lunch sometimes when I need to send something out, and have never experienced any problems. The workers are kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
I am a snowbird, living in Indy for 6 months and in FL the other 6. There was some confusion with mail delivery in my situation. I phoned the Meridian St. office. Much to my pleasure, the staff there was prompt, courteous, and highly efficient in advising me on proper documentation and procedures. These folks, especially David, were awesome.
If youre looking for some envelopes and stamps, this place is fine. The lady who attended to me was very pleasant. Not nearly as bad as the other reviews would suggest.

Mailed something from in store and paid extra first class shipping. It never left Indianapolis for four days and arrived three days after the estimated arrival day.
Wait time was less than a minute. Each register had a staff member, with additional support staff. Staff were very cordial.
They do not have enough employees to cover vacations. When our usual mail carrier is on vacation we never get our mail. We are a place of business and must have mail delivered M-F promptly. When I call to express my feelings on this I was told I could come to the branch and retrieve my mail. Poor customer service and rude people at the branch. just waiting for our usual mail carrier to come back from vacation so we can get our mail again.
Could not answer my question as to why my last 3 packages were returned to sender even though they were all addressed correctly. Rambled on for 20 min on how it couldve been a lot of reasons but how it would be useless for her to hear out our situation because there was essentially nothing we/she could do about it. Was rude and was cutting us off when we were trying to explain.
Staff was nice, line was minimal. Its very close to my home. Id come here again.
If I could rate the post office a negative star, I would! The post office is second only to AT&T as the worst run organization in the world. Instead of jail time, we should make criminals have to deal with the post office all day for a week. Crime wouldnt exist!!! Absolutely terrible customer service. Couldnt even get my question in on the phone before I was redirected to someone who wasnt answering the phone. Called back to the main branch number and was lectured about why I was redirected in the first place instead of taking the time to let me ask the (very simple) question. Disappointing.
I HATE dealing with this place. Terrible customer service, so, so, rude. They cant even answer a simple question and when they do it is in an extremely rude tone. Even when they try to sound nice it sounds sarcastic and condescending. I never have problems with customer service anywhere I go but I am appalled by this place and I am not the least bit surprised by these other reviews.Oh, and this is the first bad review I have EVER written about anywhere.

Cant answer a simple questionThe one african american guy is rude1 lady (young girl)are rudeOnly 1 lady that works on the far left / the other works on the far right are professional.I wish I had pick another location for my pobox............So I get a package one week at the post office everything comes through from HSN and then I had to return it because they sent me the wrong item then HSN sends me the correct item back and the post office just has has it in on my record to not receive ups at the post office so this is just occurred so if UPS do not deliver at USPS then my item went to all parts of indiana....didnt get it to me until fri the 24th aug. And it arrived in indy on the 16th.why did they accept the first item that came in from HSN this post office is just full of incompetent workers and I know who put it in effect to reject my item from UPS Ive had a conversation with this gent.....no this fool.... hes just rude hes ghetto and he need to find somewhere else to work if he cannot deal with the public.Im so sick of this location and then I ended up paying for my box for a whole year wish I can change it to somewhere else Im f waa d up....but my po# is with to many to go thru that so Ill do counter biz in other locations and just get my mail and not deal with them.***you cant give us positions and expect GREATNESS.....and you cant make GREATNESS out of ghetto individuals.

I have no idea how this office is still in business. I would have thought that the sheer amount of lost mail claims would have put them out of business!They lost two of my packages--first, a package containing flowers for my wedding (after me visiting the office weekly for over two months, they refused to give me any proof to show that they lost it, and the tracking looked like it was just that I didnt pick it up). It mysteriously showed up later, without any scans to show how it got to my new place.Then, I found out--a MONTH after I changed my address to a different town--that a package of medicine was delivered to my old address and never forwarded. They marked it on the tracking as if they delivered it to my old address as a business and then marked it business closed so I had no notice that it was delivered to the wrong address and not forwarded until it was time for my next dose...and I had no medicine!While in the office (which, by the way, has no A/C and I had to wait an hour each time!) I overheard several people asking about lost packages and often the incompetent staff would just shrug.
This post office is closed for business. I tried calling this number but the phone only kept ringing for three minutes with no one picking up or maybe all the staff are taking a smoking break from job stress.
Dear Lord All Mighty could these employees be any ruder. If you dont like your job then get another one. This place is so slow its not even funny. Its some of the worste customer service I have ever had in my life. Completely incompotent at their job. Even the simplest of task turns into a challange for this group of people. And no matter what time of day you go, or who waits on you, you can bet that the experience will not be any different. No wonder the postal service is bankrupt. Its employees like this that are the reason. I cant possibly imagine any sane management keeping any of these people around. Much less paying a retirement for them. Ive seen more smarts from a monkey. The postal service must get a tax credit for hiring the severely mentally handicap because I could think of no other reason anyone at this establishment would have a job. I would have fired them a long time ago.
My mail comes from this post office and my mail always arrives late in evening after 8pm, sometimes its not even delivered, new carrier everyday, always getting someone elses mail, horrible service by far the worst branch ever

A Registered & Insured package arrived at the 46204 facility at 11am on Friday the 6th of Apr 18, IT SAT THERE FOR FIVE (5) DAYS!!!!! Then they sent it a couple of blocks to 46206, but that isnt where it supposed to go. It still hasnt reached its destination on 86th street 46240. Took time off work to inquire about a package I had never received that was confirmed as delivered to my apartment. They informed me that theyd call, never received a call. Went in again the next morning and they informed me the carrier was not available that day. Missed my package I needed for a trip out of town.

All the normal cashier/teller folks here are a delight and I work with them a few times a month or more to mail products to customers, but god forbid you have to pick something up that the supervisor has to handle and there’s a problem with it, then it’s your fault somehow that your letter isn’t in the building apparently :| five stars anyway tho, I like the cashiers too much ⭐️
