Walked in 4 minutes late to my appointment (apologized right away for it) but knew on the website it said there’s a 7 min grace period so I thought it would be fine. The girl immediately was rude and not welcoming. The first thing she tells me is that she won’t be able to do a good job on my eyebrows and won’t tweeze them because I was 4 minutes late. I apologized again, surprised at her rudeness. Then I got the feeling I’d be paying for a subpar job since she told me it would be so I said I didn’t need the service then. She then started to pick a fight with me! I couldn’t believe what was happening! Fighting with me and yelling at me down the hall as I left. I have never in my life had a customer service encounter like that.

My appointment was today at 3pm and I waited for 20 minutes Amelia did not show up. I called the manager on call and she said I have to call the corporate office and she will deal with me on Monday! Vwry bad service and will NOT go here again!I appreciate of Amelia was runni glaye to go see me at the front and let me know. The lady in the front desk was new so she did not know ehat to do. I disliked the word that Anne the manager says DEAL with me! That is not a welcomeing service!

Reyna is the BEST at eyebrows! Shes also a fantastic conversationalist, but I dont want to hype her up too much or youll take my appointment and I wont be able to get in to see her.

Raelyn is the best. She gets the job done. Aside from yelping on occasion, I feel very relaxed when I am there. No pressure to buy any thing. The site has good protocol in place and I have never had trouble reaching help.

I have been going to Reyna every month for the past 8 months and I love her! She is always on time for my appointments, and does a thorough job for all my waxing needs! She’s recommended great products for ingrown hair issues and my eye brows haven’t matched my whole life until she started waxing them 🙂 I definitely recommend her 👌🏻

Reyna literally changed my life! I’ve been going to her for about 2, almost 3 years and let me tell you... my eyebrows have never looked this good until I met her! Before I met her, I was always hopping around and just couldn’t find the right one! She always makes sure the wax is thorough and she even listens to me when I have input on the style I am going for. And she follows through every time. Even before the pandemic, she has always used gloves since the day I met her and I really appreciate that because I think someone else’s bare hands touching my face is just not clean and pretty gross. I’ve been to places where they don’t use gloves and I always broke out and never went back. Her room is alwayssss clean and she is always on time! I would recommend her 10/10 to anyoneeeee I know. Even my boyfriend compliments me and notices my eyebrows when she does them and men never notice anything lol! He even asked to book an appointment with her. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Reyna! She saved/changed my life lol, I promise I’m not being dramatic. It’s hard to find someone who is really talented at doing eyebrows. I’ll continue to go to her forever! I definitely don’t want anyone else touching my eyebrows except her! 💖

As an advanced practice esthetician myself I’msuper picky about my services and who I let perform them. Without a doubt Reyna is the only human I let do my Brazilian! She’s fast, thorough, painless, and approachable. I have seen her for years and I won’t see anyone else. She’s super skilled with hard wax and has great technique. I cannot recommend her enough!

Its worth the 50 minute drive (1 way), for my under arms. The local high end salon cost the same, but Waxing the City seems cleaner and more thorough overall. Woodbury and Roseville are both nice locations and Im sure the others are adequate as well.

Great experience here! They were able to get me in right away and it was by far the least painful wax Ive had done professionally. I really appreciated their attention to detail- water is available when you check in and during appointment, they provide wipes for you to freshen yourself up before a wax and the estheticians use powder during the wax (prevents wax from sticking to skin) and soothing lotion afterwards. I really did feel like the wax they use here is more gentle than other waxes Ive tried.I also really liked how long my esthetician spent making sure everything was cleaned up and getting any little stray hairs. She definitely checked in periodically to make sure wax wasnt too hot and that I wasnt in any way uncomfortable.Everyone there was super friendly and it didnt feel awkward at all, despite being nearly naked in front of a stranger. This will be my regular place from now on.

I had a great experience for my first time waxing. They had a deal for first time wax which great for a newbie like myself.My waxer, Tessa, was gentle and kept me well-informed the whole time. As a male whose only experience with waxing was from The 40-Year-Old Virgin I was surprised that I didnt notice the waxing started until a few minutes into the session. Would recommend!

Wasted $17 to Uber to this location. Called them in advance to let them know that I would be late and gave the exact time that I would arrive. I was told they would have to modify my appt when I arrived. Thats fine totally understood that. When I arrived they said they would be unable to accommodate me, which should have been told to me when I called to give them a heads up, as I would have cancelled. This location needs to work on their communication.

Excellent service and the ladies that work here are extremely professional. Cleanliness is top notch and they work hard to ensure you feel comfortable during the appointment.

I recommend Tessa. She was gentle and did a really nice job on my eye brows. The sleek, modern studio ambiance and staff is convenient to my work so I am sure to go back!

Brought a friend here last minute and they got us right in. Staff was nice, overall. They took about 40 minutes to wax her eyebrows. During that time the lady at the front desk was filling out a flyer which I ended up talking to her about, and it was a monthly new pricing plan they were trying to upsell, but could not explain it very well. I didnt mind letting her practice on me but the plan doesnt save much money and seems kinda dumb to me. I like the waxing the city because they specialize in waxing only which is nice. This location was clean and customer service was ok, but they spent way too much time for simple eyebrow wax in my opinion. Im giving it 4 stars.
