I lived at Pickwick for a year. I kept my apartment in very good shape! I do have a dog and still managed to keep my carpets in good condition. When I moved out there was no move out checklist or expectations for what they would end up charging me for. At move in I had Randall as my leasing agent who told me as long as my carpets had no stains or rips I would not be charged for them as the apartment complex would need to clean them before another tenant moves in..WRONG! At move out I was charged 180 just for the carpets! There were no stains and no damage! I even cleaned them myself before moving. They also charge you $50 if your fridge is “dirty”. Same for your ovens! The kitchen sink had rust stains when I moved in yet I was also charged for them being “dirty” at move out! I have tried speaking to Marisela and even their Assistant manager Rosa about this but they are rude and don’t care. A friend moved out shortly after me with carpet damage and still received her deposit back and no charges!! I had another friend call to ask if there would be any charges at move out and they also told her no as long as the carpet isnt stained. I understand that each case may be different but this is ridiculous!! My apartment looked almost exactly the same after I moved out as I did when I moved in. Just be aware that if a leasing agent tells you things at move in it won’t be the same when you move out!

I’ve been here for 5 years. I just called to get someone to open my apartment and they want to charge me 100 dollars because maintenance is gone for the day but the office is open until 6. I’ll just wait in the rain with my 3 kids until my husband gets home. With this pandemic going on you would think they would be more considerate of their tenants but nope. Any chance they get to make a dollar.

The office staff works hard to ensure you will not be approved for a unit after you have paid your application fee. If you would like to submit multiple documents including residential history prior to 7 years ago to prove youre worthy of being a resident to a property that hasnt upgraded the available units since the 90s, this place is for you!

Not the absolute worst, but for sure not the best .They dont check for parking permits, so feel free to bring your whole family over and take up the entire row in front of your building. There was a car sitting outside in the front of my building for 14 months (was there before i moved in) and was never towed. No parking permit, 3 flat tires. Constantly random vehicles parked in front of the building for weeks and never got towed. The sewer system sucks. Be aware that you WILL get charged $45 for a toilet cleaning when you move out because when the water sits in the toilet for 2 days, it turns brown. It was brown when I moved in and if i went 2-3 days without cleaning it with a brush, it would look rusty. It was SPOTLESS when I moved out, but I still got charged $45 because water sat in the bowl before they got a chance to look over the apartment.Overall, the quality is pretty poor. Very old that has a very gross smell. Appliances hardly work. Dishwasher doesnt clean dishes. This place is falling apart. Hopefully they do renovations soon because rent went from $609 to $710 and its not a pleasant place.Only positives is that maintenance was fast responding (for a small leak). Overall felt safe here too. But it is worth more to pay a little extra up north than come here. Im glad I moved out!

Finished our application, got approved then was told the price was almost 60 dollars a month higher than what it said when I was applying because it takes them four to seven days to approve an application! I’ve got a screenshot of their prices up till two weeks later and the price wasn’t anything close to what they told me it would be! I asked them if they would honor their prices on their calendar online and they said no! Started with them having 5 units available, then went to having one that was more expensive somehow and the rest wouldn’t be available till the following month! Price was supposed to be 695, then once we were approved they said 754. English is the second language for a couple of the women in there and they blame me for not understanding what they said and when they said it!

Ive lived in these apartments since late 2010 as a newcomer to the state. Ive had nothing but a great experience! Granted when I first moved in back in 2010 the rent for a 1 bedroom was $489 with free cable, water and sewage included. It has of course went up of the years and the rent no longer includes free cable or water/sewage, but the price is still worth it. The staff is great and maintenance is always on point (work orders get completed within 24 hours, the latest 48 hours)! Ive only had a couple of incidences and they were corrected immediately. They dont charge any crazy extra fees. The water/sewage bill is included in your rent or you can opt to pay it separately since you do receive a bill in the mail. My water/sewage bill has never been over $32 dollars at the highest (I take long showers..lol)! The location is great as well, I love the north side! It is convenient and close to everything as well. The only reason I am looking to move is because I have out grown the space, although I could move to a 2 bedroom. The only reason I dont is because I must have a washer/dryer unit or hookup in the apartment. Im over going to the laundry mat. Although Pickwicks laundry facility is the biggest and best Ive seen at any apartment complex. I honestly am dreading moving out because it honestly has been a great experience, Ive just outgrown the space and require a washer/dryer unit/hookup. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking for great customer service, maintenance, and location!!

I lived here for 11 years. I guess that speaks for itself. Maintenance was great, punctual, effective. Not one rent increase in 11 years. They took great care of me. Very convenient for all types of shopping. I had a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment for $639 per month for 11 years. For the price - I could not complain.

Close friends & family lived here from the late 90s till 2015. The Office Staff were extremely accommodating - something that is EXTREMELY rare in Apartment Complexes these days. That alone is reason enough for us to rate it highly.

I lived at Pickwick Farms for two summers during my internship. It was provided by the company I worked for so I dont really have any comments about the management because I didnt have to deal with them. This complex is great for people looking for short-term leases that are fully furnished (furniture, kitchen stuff, sheets, towels) but is dated and a little dirty. Dont expect too much, it wasnt that impressive. I never really felt safe here but never had any bad experiences. This complex is okay but just be careful and always lock your doors to both your apartment and car.

This is by far the least professional, slowest in response, and irresponsible staff I have ever encountered. I have rented in three states over 15 years. When the office manager, in regards to time sensitive information, says I didnt call you back because I felt bad and thought someone else would do it, how much hope is there? My car was broken into on the property. It took over two months to get information back on the video feed. The information was as vague as inconclusive.Reaching out to the regional property manager has not yelded positive results.

The apartments are quiet. They increased the security. I pay a pretty low price for a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath. And its not small. About 820 sq ft. The apartment is made cheap tho. The staff in the office are nice. They did have free cable but got rid of it. I havent had any neighbor problems and anything i needed done in the office was taken care of prettt quick.

This place is next to trash. In summer they hardly keep up with keeping the grass mowed, they dont care about maintnence issues. We havent been able to use our kitchen sink in almost 4 days and weve put in multiple maintenece requests. All the window and screen doors leak air bad, bugs are constantly getting in no matter what. The seal on our shower is coming off. Our towel rack has fallen off and their solution was to silly putty it back in place. The dishwasher leaks so we havent used it since weve moved in, there are MASSIVE holes under the bathroom sinks where you can see into the floor/walls. The mirrors on the medicine cabinet constantly fall off the track, this place just isnt worth the rent.

Pros: This is apartment complex is well kept. Ive had to put in a few maintenance orders, and management has been really quick to respond (same day or next day). They mow the lawn frequently, and in the middle of the day, when no one is sleeping/home. There isnt too much dog poop around, but I think they clean that up too. I went with the un-upgraded model. The appliances do look dated, but they work just fine (even the dish washer). The interior is standard (white walls, and light brown carpet). Lots of amenities (tennis courts, pool, rec center, gym, racquet ball room, mini movie theater)! Rent is due on the 1st, but you have until the 5th which is nice.Cons: My apartment got a lot of spiders (I kill 2 everyday minimum), until I sprayed. I just wonder if they spray for them, because it doesnt seem like it. It might be an insulation problem, but spraying seriously helps. Also, the gym could really use an update.Overall, I dont have any serious complaints. Nice apartment, nice staff, and friendly, quite neighbors (including their kids). I know as someone who is not ready to buy a house, a thought out review is always appreciated.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! This is the worst place Ive ever lived! The staff is very unprofessional, the apartment is old and moldy and have bugs and even saw a mouse because there was a big hole underneath the bathroom sink that maintenance did not bother to fix. The apartment upstairs constantly leaked so there was water in the ceiling more than once. Now that I moved out, I am having a problem getting my deposit back. They are cheaters! And because they are not right here, Pickwick Farms will not ever prosper! Its sad.... Dont waste your money, time and most importantly, life!
