I love my apartment and the landlord lady is very sweet. They take care of things when needed. I tell all my friends about this place.

My daughter lives here but is about to move and since she has told them she is not renewing her lease they have had her car towed twice. Apparently she needs a permit but for the almost year she has lived there it has not been a problem until now. They told her they would give her a permit for free since she is about to move and should have had one already but the apartment manager is so difficult to get a hold of that she has never gotten one. The apartment manager is so hard to contact in fact she almost lost her new apartment because they could not get verification of rental history from Winchester Village staff. Maintenance is virtually non existent. The fire department is there all the time. Save yourself the annoyance.

I live in the adjacent neighborhood. This complex is certainly not the best but it appears new management is putting in real effort to improve the site. Nina is much better than the previous management.

These apartments are straight trash they have mice roaches water only stay hot for a good 7 min air conditioning don’t work stove don’t work they do nothing about it but don’t be late on that rent they’ll definitely remind you of that I would not recommend these apartments to anyone your better off being homeless 🤷🏾‍♀️

Do not apply for these apartments. They only communicate with you when it is convenient for them. I read all the reviews about mold and other things, but I wanted to see for myself. Gladly I never got to experience the apartment. I’ve only experienced the management, and they are very unprofessional, untimely, and will are completely unresponsive. After days and hours of continuous calling the office, I literally had to call the company that owns this place just to get a maybe type of response. Still don’t know if I will have the $100 “admin fee” on my card by Friday even though they took my money LAST TUESDAY(today is tuesday 7days). My birthday is tomorrow so I won’t be calling, but Thursday I am gonna call just as I have been for a full week

DO NOT MOVE HERE THERE ARE ROACHES Moved in a month ago, had my move in planned for a month, come the day they didn’t even remember I was coming, and didn’t have my promised apartment ready, fine moved me into a different one and committed to replacing floors and appliances that didn’t work. Never happened, went without heat for 5 days(3 days before they brought space heaters) not to mention the worst part after a week started noticing ROACHES(never in my life have I seen an actual roach before this) then charged me 25 on my first month to get pest control here. Laundry is “open” from 1230-4 monday-Friday and they don’t even unlock it for the scheduled time.Office manager was nice but after leaving 7 voicemails and never getting a response after multiple weeks of doing so it’s getting ridiculous, thought they were semi competent but clearly I was wrong

There are a lot more cons to this apartment than there are pros. My biggest issue is that there are mice. I keep my apartment clean and I also live on the third floor. Im pretty sure they live in the walls and get in through underneath the sinks and dishwasher area. The other issue is that my air conditioning was completely worthless during the summer. It was actually blowing out cold air but he apartment would not cool down for anything. It was consistently 80+ degrees in my apartment during the day WHILE the air conditioning was running constantly. It would only get down to the temperature I set it at (69-70) overnight. It was miserable. I did have someone look at it and they said there was nothing they could do. I couldn’t even keep house plants because they would die due to the heat.Other issues: the dishwasher is worthless. Only half of my dishes come out clean and they will sometimes smell. I rarely use it. The fridge is an energy hog and runs way too much. The air vents are painted over so many times that they will not close to redirect any air flow. Along with the air running constantly, the heat would also run all day long. The hallways vary on smell depending on the day. Its either: mildew, weed, dirty butt, or cigarettes. Most of the people that live here are sketchy. There is a clan of children that live amongst the population here and are always running around (didnt bother me but it may for some people). In my short year in these apartments, the management literally changed 3 times.Pros: Its cheap. maintenance does a good job with requests. online rent payment. My apartment was clean when I moved in and the carpet is nice. There is a lot of space in the one bedroom units (rooms are large with 2 closets). I have good experience every time Ive called the office for various issues/concerns.Overall, this was a good SHORT TERM place for me to live while I was doing my clinical at the nearby hospital. My neighbors were very quiet and never had any noise issues, which was good for me to study. If you do choose to live here, make sure you have lots of the original mice traps. Here is a tip for you: superglue peanuts/dog food to the trap to catch them better. I appreciate the management and can tell that theyre trying to improve things.

I’ve been living here for 3 years. It has been my first time living on my own, and this development has always been a pleasant experience. The neighborhood isn’t the worst, and the building i live in isn’t bad either. Its actually gotten better since the property was purchased by a new company. It really seems like they’re trying to make it an even nicer place to live. The staff are friendly, and they’re timely with requests that need to be addressed. Its living that is pretty affordable in a good location.Edit (2019): Over the last year or so Ive noticed a small decline in the quality of service and with my apartment here in general. Ive had a myriad of issues pop up with varying degrees of success getting resolved. I appreciate the extensive updates left on doors, and hopefully things get a bit better, but Ive been growing unhappy with this property. Im only hoping if I do decide to leave I dont encounter the issues others have had when moving out.

This place was a good learning experience for me to ALWAYS look at reviews before moving in somewhere. When I moved in the apartment looked like someone just got up and left. Not cleaned AT ALL. Its infested with bugs and mice, the hallways smell bad, the air conditioning didnt work ALL summer until the very end of our lease ending. The heat bill in the winter was sky high, our neighbors down stairs do not know how to teach their kids respect, they damaged my car with their bikes, 2600 dollars worth of damages on my car they they wouldnt pay since I had no video proof. I couldnt wait until my term was up, I hope you guys dont make the same mistake I did. I think that it could be a nice place but they need to start over and get all the bugs and mice out.

The inside looks nice. The staff could use some work though. I dont ever ask for much but for some reason this months rent for my one bedroom apartment is $971 and its because the added 2 pet rents, a month to month fee when I have a year contract, and two water bills... Ive been trying to call I sent an email and Ive tried to visit but for some reason I cant get an answer from them and they are never in the office when I go down. Im not paying that 971 for a one bedroom because theyve added extra stuff on there and im trying to get it fixed before its dueI gave a 1 star in Hopes I would get answers from them. It seems like no one is ever in the office and they change the office times all the time so it makes it impossible for me to go down there and they havent replied to any of my emails or voicemails

I didnt even want to give them a one star. I had set up many times to come see them and also tour an apartment by appointment like they said to do. Its been one thing after another for them to cancel my appointment and then turn around reschedule it for a time that fits them. Ill be going somewhere else then feel like they dont want my business.

Blame for this neighborhoods decline can be laid at this places feet. Crumb-bums and ghetto wannabes gravitate to this place like flies on a well formed bowel movement.
