Great place, awesome staff the leasing agent Maria and the property manager Crystal were so helpful and made me and my girlfriend feel at home already. Although we weren’t able to rent because there is no washer and dryer connections in the apartments and, that’s what we were looking for. I WENT HERE WITH LITTLE TIME TO MOVE, their turn around time was awesome they were so professional and the first complex to every work with me ! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The whole time I lived here they harassed me constantly. They kept giving me inspection papers so they could come in and see the places. I would call off work every time and they would never show up. As well as recharge me for things I have already paid for. They find any way to make you pay more and more money. Worst place I have ever lived.

Tried to fill out application for apt, site giving me the runaround, after paying $25.00 fee. SMH!!!!!!

Be advised that you will be watched and held to a different standard with Section 8 tenants. Management does not care if you have the same issues as a tenant with section 8. You will be harassed & treated as if you are on section 8. I have received a paper on my door for the smallest of issues EVERY WEEK and my rent has been paid. The property manager is very unprofessional. Don’t move here unless you want to be watched and stalked.

I put in the work order early this morning at 0130AM and maintenence showed up at 10AM to fix the problem. Awesome job, Pangea Vineyard....water pipe under sink was leaking bad.

This is literally the worst apartment i’ve ever lived in. Let me start with the positives. Donna is so professional & nice & i’ve always got great customer service from her she is literally amazing! She got us in quick and is always super helpful. On to the bad. When we came to look at the apartment I should’ve noticed the red flags. There are literally tire marks on the side of my refrigerator on the freezer part. The oven & dishwasher are so so old and the air conditioning/heating unit. it had to have been here since the apartment was built! the heat blows cold air for about 7 minutes when we first turn it on and before it goes off. there is a horrible draft so in the winter it is impossible to sit in my own living room bc its constantly so cold. and im anemic so that doesnt go well for me! we have been unable to use the dishwasher since we moved in because the lever where the soap goes doesn’t close all the way. something else my maintenance man said they couldnt fix. the sliding glass door never was on the tracks correctly so we could never enjoy going in & out of it. Two of my cabinets never closed all the way and the maintenance man did nothing to fix it. he slammed it shut and said “that’s all it needs” bathroom & kitchen sink leak water underneath & on the faucet part like crazy always leaving puddles on the counters and under my sink which before we knew about it ruined everything under my sink. had to throw it all away. the carpet in both rooms weren’t replaced because they had a funny smell. the bath tub had to be rebmolded because it had weird un removable stains and indents. the toilet shakes horribly every time you sit on it and the sink knob makes a loud noise unless you turn it so far. there is mold and mildew under the sinks from all the leakage which maintenance has been by to “fix”multiple times & within a few days its back leaking. the freezer doesn’t freeze properly and i had to get rid of so much frozen breast milk because of it. there is tons of black mold in the bathroom on the celing which maintenance said they could do nothing about. there is no security or cameras & my car got broken into twice. the lining on the floor in the bathroom is peeling bc it was never fixed properly prior to move in. seriously thinking if calling legal aid bc not only was i breathing in black mold my whole pregnancy but my newborn has had to as well. also krystal in the office has no idea what she’s doing & has given me false information on multiple occasions.

We were treated with respect and very friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone. The young lady that took care of us, Donna, is both Pleasant and professional.

I just moved in last month and Ive have already witnessed a Tenant Appreciation Day WOW!! I never new communities dis that! Thomas and Daisy came to the property and did a BBQ on their day off. That really meant a lot to me. I was homeless before I moved with Pangea and I explained that to Thomas. He told me to keep the faith and keep my head up and let God do the rest. He really encouraged my spirit that day. And you know, I got approved for the apartment. Im glad we have a strong brother like that in our urban community. In todays society we need that for us and our kids. He is a true leader. Pangea needs his voice and style to run through all there communities especially those in the urban communities. Daisy is great in the office as well. whenever I walk in she gives the best service ever. Im glad they are the leaders of our community

Ive just recently moved in. The rent and utilities are very affordable, its kinda like a pay for what you get deal though. I moved into an apartment that needed the carpet replaced through out. Apparently thats not a major issue for management because they basically said deal with it. Maintenance does come around fairly quickly when needed though. I would recommend this place to someone who didnt plan on making it home and needs somewhere to get into fast.

Lived here for 4 years. Never one issue. If you can deal with occasional spider or ant this is the place for you. The managing team is extremely customer service oriented when you meet with them. Value, affordability...and spacious.

My first impression wasnt great because I had to keep giving my information. I then went to another office in Hyde park and they were great. I walked in and they were very polite. I went to see the place that I will be occupying and the hallways were cleaned and smelled great. I dont move in until the first but so far so good. I say keep up the great customer service because that is what people look for

You can love where you live when the people in the office ( including maintenance) make you feel as though they care about your issues and concerns as if it were their own problems! Great job guys. Keep up the good work

This place just keeps getting better and better. Ive lived here for about a year and a half now and every time I go to the office I receive great customer service from Brittany and Thomas. I really liked Daisy too but she doesnt work here anymore. You can tell that the office staff really does care about the community and the residents-- they are more than willing to work with you when youre having issues paying rent. Maintenance requests have always been taken care of VERY quickly as well and the community is always clean (Thanks Jessie and Lonnie!)I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new home. The area outside the community could be better, but Ive never had an issue with security here and rarely hear outside noise when Im inside my apartment.Oh, and the prices are really decent too, especially for what you are getting. I only pay $480/ month for my 1 bedroom.

Ive been living here for almost a year now and I can honestly say that in that time period Thomas and the Pangea team has really helped me out. Anytime Ive ever needed any type of assistance from maintenance to help with my rent Thomas and his team has helped me without any questions. I appreciate the fact that I can depend on my rental office team to be nice and supportive. I love my building and my neighbors are wonderful lol. So thanks again Thomas and the Pangea team you guys rock!!

So I was suppose to move in February 10th. I was called and they told me I could move in today. 2/3. The apartment was clean and ready to go. I had no issues. Everything went smoothly. I appreciate Thomas and Daisy for being patient with me. I was dealing with a situation and they helped me so much! Thank you again for giving me my life and a place to lay my head again!!!!!!! I recommend them to anyone. Dont judge a book by its cover!!!!!!

Very, very poor customer service. After leaving a ton of voicemails and no one returning my calls, I finally got through by selecting the Spanish option. The black woman that answered the phone was VERY rude. Im actually happy that Im out of state and dont have the opportunity to pull up on her. She needs more training or to be let go. She is damaging your reputation by association. Youre welcome

Been here a year. Love it. Maintaince turn around time is real good and staff is very polite and willing to work with you when they can. I really enjoy living here.

Maintenance guy James knows his work, had plumbing issues resolved in adequate amount of time plus had to replace carbon monoxide poisoning detector. The other guy Jesse.. furnace had went out brought heaters and other warming house items while waiting on new furnace. Maintenance guy Lonnie helped install new bathroom cabinet after the old one got warped by water flood damage.

The apartments itself isnt that bad. That ratchet lady they have in the front office is beyond unprofessional. My brother simply asked a question and she began to curse and yell. I considered moving here but Ive officially changed my mind.Update, after she seen the review and what I said about her she sent my brothers fiance (a current tenant) an email saying she still has her job and still making money. The apartment management is clearly a joke and thats why she behaves like that.

Staff is going into my apartment without consent. A maintenance request for my windows was put in three weeks ago and they have not fixed either window but they are letting my neighbor Kat and her drug attic friends come in my apartment. Maintenance so not leave a tag or notice that they have been in my apt. They stole my medications,food and coffee. Aparently background checks on the few residents you do have are not being done. Child molesters and child preditors are not being screaned correctly

Good living space, its quite plus its some place I wouldnt mind recominding a friend to, there has been some mix ups we get them figured out quickly tho

Idk about other people having roaches but I most definitely do not have them. All in all its a good community nothing really happens a couple arguments outside hear and there but its s random its funny asf. I actually enjoy it here I just dont like the neighborhood.

I would never move into a Pangea Real Estate property again!! They are nothing but trouble. They tend to swoon you with MOST of the property managers being “nice”but their main assistant property manager is nothing but rude! When I first moved in which was in August I was moved in under Brittany but after she left it has been nothing but hell. I was told that Internet and Basic Phone Service was available but that was a lie and I was not able to cancel my lease; I needed those services for my work at home job but had to quit because of it which made it difficult to pay my rent when it was delayed to the assistant property manager it was shrugs and nothing could be done.My rent was increased within the months because of “utilities” but in the lease it says clearly UTILITIES WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE RENT, there are Limited stores everything is about 30 minutes away, the rent is too expensive for outdated and dirty appliances, also I requested a parking sticker in September after my temporary parking sticker expired. She wrote my name down but never got back to me and my car ended up almost being towed !!!!*****UpdateOver the past 3 weeks; I reached out to Pangea Real Estate via Facebook & was constantly told I would be contacted. I was contacting 2 weeks before the end of the month. I missed a call fromJesus, another property manager contacted me once at about 9:00 am, as soon as I seen that I missed the call I immediately called back at about 9:15-9:30 because I was going to work at 10- I never got in contact with him again, I called 5 times at different times and left 3 voicemails. I contacted Pangea and they told me he will contact me ASAP, I guess ASAP means another week and another early morning phone call even after providing my availability. I missed another call from Jesus while at work but called him right back, still no answer I also left an email in Jesus’s email. That was the last time an actual person responded to me about this madness. Before I left for work On February 28th I noticed the new signs they posted in front of the complex and one of them mentioned student discounts with their logo I inboxed pangea via Facebook and asked would I be able to take advantage of that and they told me that they did not do student discounts— so I asked was it just a promotion because there’s a sign and they asked for a picture and I was able to send it once I arrived at my destination, that’s when I was told that it was going to be escalated to management. A few hours later, Thomas left a voicemail saying that they had a quarterly meeting and wanted to talk to me about some payment plans and possibly moving into one of their other apartment complexes... I called him but he was in the meeting at Pangea prairies and wasn’t able to take my call, no problem, I left a message with the rambunctious receptionist that told me I said my name wrong 🙃. Couple of hours later Thomas was able to take my call, long story short we had a meeting about a “payment plan” which ended up with me paying $1,069 .. $895 for rent and 210.00 for court fees, and I have basically about 4 days to pay $662.96 to avoid late fees or as Thomas suggests 372.00 before another eviction file. I asked about maybe canceling my lease.. sure I can, but I have to do a 3 month buyout which I calculated to be 1,695.00. I plan on taking that offer next month. I don’t know if I would call this a better review but that’s what happened since I was asked to write a review. I’m not sure how they calculated 1,069 meaning that they are charging me about $259 in “utilities” because my rent is 565 even with late charges that would be $600, when I first moved in my utilities were $50-60 during the winter months even with it being stated in the lease that utilities will not increase during winter months, by December I was paying close to $100 in utilities and my apartment is relatively small with min. occupancy. Nothing changed same bs.

Im moving next week but have been here for just about a year.Pros: the apartment itself is pretty spacious. A 2 bedroom 1 bath has pretty good closet space. For the price you pay, you get a pretty spacious unit.Cons: you get what you pay for. We got a new toilet the broke the same day but isnt a big enough issue to replace the whole thing. Theres caulking all over the floor around the base that was poorly done. Behind the toilet, the wall is peeling, something they didnt even bother to fix or touch when we moved in.They put glue up shower walls over existing tile. You can feel the gaps where they didnt use enough adhesive, and the caulking there is also disgusting and caked on. Can only imagine how much mold there is.Mold. There is mold all around and over windows. In our second bedroom, we had to tape around the windows to keep stink bugs from getting in. We counted how many we vacuumed up within an hour straight- we vacuumed up 30 stink bugs nonstop. You can actually see a few of the stink bugs that have gotten stuck on the tape and died.Upon moving in, we quickly realized that any concerns you have will just be fixed with a bandaid, so we didnt even bother filling work orders. Our bathtub was leaking downstairs from us taking a bath, so maintenance came and knocked on our door at midnight. We didnt answer. He comes the next day and tells us dont fill out tub past the overflow because its leaking downstairs. Rather than fixing it, we have to pretty much get rid of baths all together.If someone turns on the water downstairs, be prepared to shower in cold water. Its absolutely ridiculous.Maintenance has walked into my apartment by mistake TWICE. the first time was the first week, the second time was about a month ago. They were trying to enter the unit across from mine and somehow got D mixed up with C. He set off my alarm and the alarm company called me. It wasnt until I got off the phone with my alarm company and called the leasing office, where she then called him to tell him he was in the wrong unit that he left my apartment ! So about a good 5 minutes he knew there were obviously still people living there but didnt leave until I called to tell them.Our cars continuously got egged for no reason, we have no issues with anyone. I had to go out and buy a security camera and put it on my balcony to try and see if I could find out who was egging our cars. When bringing this issue to the office, they said they would call the guy downstairs and ask about it. Cant say whether they actually did or not, but at this rate I dont believe anything they tell me.I could honestly go on. If youre looking for a spacious, cheap apartment, these are good. But aside from that, I would not recommend.

Since the apts. name change, the only thing they have going is cheap rent, cause i here shooting on a regular, and the pool never works, and roaches, and you might get robbed ..

Worst place in the city to live...leasing agents have changed 6 times in the 2 years I lived there...the tenants are loud...theres never any available parking because other tenants guess are always parked in resident parking areas...the apartments have mice, roaches and spiders...they dont keep up with your rent payments...always saying you owe money when you dont...they will approve anybody just to keep the apartments full...dont waste your time keep looking.

I called and left messages for management took call me but as usual horrible management!
