Shout Out To Leah And Carol For Being Understanding In Situations That Came Up! Love The New Patio Fence! And Love It Here!
I lived here in 2018 and loved it. Super clean apartments with great staff. Rachel was excellent to work with while we lived there and has even helped me out recently. We moved to California in 2019. I ordered gifts for my family two weeks ago and unfortunately I forgot to update my address on the website. All my packages were sent to my old Indiana address that I have not lived in for two years. Rachel tracked down my packages from the current tenant and personally dropped them off at USPS with new packing slips. She emailed me a copy of the tracking number and receipt. ABOVE AND BEYOND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Overpriced for the quality! The only true community amenity - the pool - is mediocre.
I stopped by A62 last week as I am apartment searching with my current lease coming to an end. Lia was nothing short of amazing. Her knowledge of the leasing world was commendable. Her kind, friendly, and welcoming demeanor was appreciated! I could tell within the first five minutes of conversation that Lia was truly invested in ensuring every person who walked through that door, along with her tenants were happy and satisfied. She was such a pleasure to work with. The only reason I decided not to go with A62 was because I found an apt with a washer and dryer in the unit available in my timeframe. Having someone on the leasing staff as helpful as Lia is a true blessing and A62 is a better place because of that kind soul! Lia was such a shining light in an often ugly, dark world! Keep shining bright! ✨
The name suggest age 62 -A/62 but it is not for 62+ population
Had apartment tour a few weeks ago. Leah was so wonderful although they didn’t have availability for what I was look for. She was such a pleasure. Do move here the community is so peaceful.
I love my apartment! I feel safe and cared for. The management knows me, as well as my dog. They are prompt and polite whenever an issue does arise. This is my second year here and as a single, young, woman, I couldn’t be happier with my safe home. I also want to add that Rachel has been a spectacular manager and makes an effort to know about you.
Awesome place great amenities the people treated like I was part of the family. Lia was so helpful in the process of me trying to get the apartment. I would reccomend this apartment complex to everyone.
Nice place for a first apartment with descent rent. You can tell it’s an older complex but it is kept up very well. Could improve on communication and exterior details near apartment doors. Such as newer stairs and better paint jobs. These things are minor but overall I like it so far.
I really love this community it is awesome and the ladies in the office they are so nice they are willing to service you in any manner that they can I just want to say thank you to both of the ladies working in the office at 62nd and Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN thank you so much
I enjoy living here. It’s located close to Broad Ripple & Castleton. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance. Binford Boulevard is close, so getting downtown is fairly quick, too. The office staff is always nice. Maintenance is quick. There’s a trail that runs along the side of the complex. The washers & dryers rarely ever break and if they do, they are fixed quickly. The people who work in the office know me by name. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment in this area!
I was looking into their complex a while back. They just sent me the pay stubs of another applicant. For your own security, go with another complex. Good thing I have no interest in stealing anyones info.
Lived here for 3 years from 2015-2018. The manager Tammy was always helpful. They did seem to have a revolving door of hourly employees though which made it difficult to talk to anyone but her. Everything I asked to be fixed was done promptly except for one thing mentioned below due to weather restrictions. I also got a majority of my deposit back. The location is great. There are different places to eat in Broad Ripple but also cheap fast food around. Both downtown and the fashion mall area are within driving distance. 465 is just up Allisonville. Traffic isn’t terrible and the locals are all pretty cool. It’s a quiet community. Mostly everyone keeps to themselves. Grounds are kept up fairly well except some annoying shrubbery that takes up the sidewalk. They’d probably clean it up if bothered you enough to complain though.Complaints-Rent shot up $70 over 3 leases. I think 2 were $10-15 and 1 was closer to $40 when they changed the way utilities were billed. Also $25/month for a cat is pretty steep regardless of the going rate. The appliances, cabinets, and counter tops definitely need updating/upgraded. Maybe they’ve done this since I first moved in but if so it would have been nice to be offered the upgrade also. Even if it were for a fee.I had a sort of sink hole right outside of my back gate. I called and they’re solution for about 6 month while it was cold was to cover it with a 1/2” thick x 12” board that made it impossible to use the gate. When it got up to about 70 degrees I called about it again. They then put a spacer for the crawl space in which fixed the sink hole but left my gate unable to be fully opened.
Ive lived here for over a year and cant complain! Prices are great, management is super helpful. I would recommend!
Over the past 2 1/2 years of staying at this complex, the staff and corporate company have not been helpful in the many incidents at the apartment. Through it all, I was cordial and was positive, but the staff failing to take responsibility for mistakes or provide any assistance made me feel I had to fairly rate the apartment.During my time at the complex:-My upstairs neighbors dog attacked me while I was standing on my porch and had to go to the ER. The owner openly told me it was my fault. The leasing office did not assist me when I asked if her renters insurance could cover my medical bills nor did they address the seriousness of the issue with the dog owner.-When renewing my lease, the complex was not willing to negotiate.-There was a fire in the middle of the night with no notice sent out about it nor safety measures to prevent future fires.-There was a murder at the complex and no extra safety measures were put in place, even after requests from tenants. The complex will be cutting back on security too which was told to me by the security company hired. There is also no security cameras because we were told it was too expensive.- There have been car thefts and a slashing of car tires. Again no increase in security.-While walking my dog around the complex, I found trash on fire in one of the bins. I called 911 and the fire department found a cigarette in the bin. Again, no fire safety nor did the complex follow up or notify residents.-Lastly, while moving out on a Saturday afternoon, I was just about finished and my mother backed into the carport (since it is closest to the apt) to grab a few items to put in the car. She was in the apartment for 20 mins and came outside to find my car gone. She thought that it must have been stolen since it happened so quickly. We notified the police, the apartment security company and the leasing office. It was not until 2 days later (Monday 4:30) I was notified by the complex that my car was towed. Because I was notified so late the car was charged for being held overnight for three days, an extra hotel night and a rental car to get home. I asked the leasing office for assistance and the towing information. They waited until the next day to send the towing information even though I specifically asked for it. They were not willing to help nor provide any assistance.Through it all I was going through medical issues and thought I made a good impression on the complex community, but in the end it really didnt matter. The apartment will overcharge tenants and take advantage of college students. It is also NOT safe for a woman to live alone in the apartment. I hope this honest review will help the next person looking for an apartment who is not from Indy.
These apartments are great! I moved here in May and really do not have a complaint about anything. The maintenance crew is amazing and friendly. They usually got things fixed the very next day after I sent a notice. The ONLY reason I will be leaving after my lease is up is simply due to the fact there is no in unit washer/dryer. I hope for my sake, that I am not making a mistake by moving because this community is wonderful.
Ive lived here for 15 years. Great place to live. Great management, they do a wonderful job. If you have a problem, (rarely) it gets taken care of.
I love my apartment I recently moved here last week and my experience has been awesome Tracey is amazing very helpful very kind and down to earth and understanding
My friend has lived here for years and recently fell in her apartment and needed medical attention. Rachel and Erica waited with her in the apartment until the ambulance came and even stayed to help rearrange things that fell down after the fall. I am thankful they were there for her when she called. Great service!
I have been living in A62 apartments a little more then 2 years. Coming up soon will be my second time renewing my lease thanks to Tammy. She is always so caring and always there to help. No complaints from me love living here
So far so good, seems like a good combination of a quiet, low crime neighborhood with a reasonable lease cost. Maintenance is quick to respond to any issues. The property managers are very nice and accommodating.
I made a big move to Indianapolis from out of state in March. Now living here for 5 months, Im glad I picked this place. They are very accomodating and pleasant to see. The complex is quiet and they have on site security walking around after hours. I chose a 1 bedroom, top floor apartment. I cannot hear my neighbors. The occasional music can be heard if my balcony door is open, which isnt loud enough to bother me. Everyone at the complex, that Ive encountered, has been very nice and respectable. I even had a few neighbors help haul my couch when I was moving in. They are currently doing a ton of upgrades, which I am happy to see. The complex was in good shape before hand, but they are doing a lot to improve living for current and future residents. All in all, its a great place!
The community manager - Tammy is excellent! She is always so friendly and up beat, willing to answer questions and go out of her way to help if its something she can help with. She keeps the property clean and always finds ways to bring residents together with different social events and giveaways. She definitely keeps the A/62 property & environment welcoming and comfortable for its tenants :)
Living at A/62 has been a breeze! The property manager Tammy, the maintenance workers, and the leasing agent Warren are truly the best apartment staff anyone could ask for. I have lived here for 2 years now and am continuing for a third year, in which I transferred to a townhouse in the complex. The 2 bedroom apartment that I moved from and now the 3 bedroom townhouse have been a dream. Very spacious and the floor plans are so unique! The landscaping is impeccable, the maintenance staff clean up the grounds almost daily. Speaking of maintenance, they are quick and responsive and usually get to most requests same or next day. The pool is great and love the pool parties they throw! If you are looking for a great apartment complex, that is located in the Broad Ripple/Castleton area, this is the place!
I applied here a couple of weeks ago and I can honestly say I have NEVER experienced better customer service, hospitability then I did here at A/62 Apartments. Tammy is so sincere, thoughtful, and is eager to help in anyway possible. A new girl Erika started during our application process as well and she also has a very pleasant demeanor. I would highly recommend A/62 to anyone.
My husband, Aaron W. moved in in April. I will be joining him at the end of July. Ive visited for a week and am looking forward to moving permanently. The apartment is cute, the grounds are clean, the pool is great, and it seems like a very quiet community.Tammy and Warren are super friendly!!
I moved into a62 apartments in August and do not have a single complaint. The community is quiet and well kept. The manager is very friendly, and most importantly, the maintenance is very quick and efficient. I have never had to wait more than a day to have something fixed. My bedroom door hinge was a little out of line and would not stay closed. I left a maintenance request this morning, and when I returned home from work I found a note from Troy and his team stating that the door was fixed. Sure enough, it was.Moving to a new city and choosing the right apartment complex can be a stressful deal. Ive been very happy with my choice.
A62 is a great place to live, mostly quiet, low crime as far as I know, and the units and grounds are kept in good order by the quick service of maintenance and good management. Ive been here five years! And Ive never had a problem with bugs. You know how some complexes are- you cant keep creepy crawlies from coming in, lol!
I’ve found no problems that I’ve had personally with the rental office staff or the maintenance personnel. The rental office takes any problems & maintenance people get there as soon as possible. One time my mother mentioned that my maintenance responded much quicker then hers usually does. I do not have a problem with my neighbors or crime either thus far staying at A/62 apartments. I have found that A/62 apartments is usually quiet & from my experience is a safe place to live.JS
I lived there a little over a year between 2015-2017, truly enjoyed it, quiet, quick maintenance response time and great location. Only downside is only 3 bedroom townhomes have a W/D in them. Other than that no complaints, clean laundry facility on site.
Too bad i have to even give this place 1 star. The past few months it has went straight downhill, blame it on the manager who is not personable at all or the heroin addicts walking around the apartments trying to sell things or at the pool harassing other ppl where they cant even enjoy it. Sad thing is, you tell her and she will tell you to call the police if you see anything but then wont do anything about it. She acts like she is too good to interact with residents. Oh yeah resident events has disappeared as well. Cant wait to move just like everyone else is moving!
They gave me less than 30 days to pay the charges assessed when I moved out. I paid it within that time, but the check was mislaid and now I have to deal with the collection agency they sent it to. It has not been a good experience.
I moved here from Tennessee and I absolutely love it here! The community is quiet and I hardly ever see any of my neighbors because everyone pretty much stays inside. Some of the people I have met here are very friendly and have been here a while. I really like the location it’s near Castleton and I’m not far from IUPUI where I work. The grounds here are always nice and clean which is a big plus for me, I love the grassy areas. I dont really deal with the staff much, but when I do they are always very nice and welcoming. There is a new company that just took over and they are starting to do many resident activities, however, I havent had the time to make any. I plan to start attending them; it’s just hard between work and school. The only things I dont like are; the laundry room closes at 9pm, sometimes I dont have enough time to get my laundry finished during the week, the wondering raccoons at night, and sometimes finding parking is hard after certain times of the night. I could definitely see myself living here until I can buy a home.
Ive enjoyed my year here. The staff is amazing and prompt with any work orders. The office staff is always hosting some kind of fun pitch in to help encourage getting to know your neighbors as well as to say thanks. They maintain the property exceptionally well and really strive to make the community feel open and welcomed. I do not have kids, but there is a group of neighborhood kids that always plays together, outside! That seems like a rarity these days, so its very nice to see. Ive watched these kids befriend new neighborhood kids and welcome them into their play-gang, which is again, nice to see. The location is really convienant and surprisngly very quite. The one thing I would like to see done differently, would be to re-paint the parking lines. The parking spots, at least on Le Havre Dr, are so close together and was sometimes a challenge to get in and out of spots since I drive a big vehicle. Overall, if I was going to be staying in the area, I would definitely have renewed my lease.
When I first moved in it was Villa Paree, Daniel and Rachel were wonderful. Things were taken care of promptly and accurately. It had a bit of a dumpy feel to it, but the management claimed they were turning it around, and D & R made me believe it. Then they got transferred to other properties, new management was rude or unhelpful, they lost my documents multiple times. When we took in a 15 year old dog with cancer they explained the pet deposit and additional fees as being for additional costs for the pet, such as wear and tear on the apartment, accidents on the carpet, and such. Unfortunately I trusted them and did not read the addendum myself, which is on me. The costs are not put towards that. After paying an additional $600 over the last year they are charging us $500 for carpet replacement. Apparently the charge is simply for allowing you to have a pet, which requires nothing from them, just padding their pockets.Beyond the hidden fees and costs, the apartment complex has gotten worse, not better. There are multiple apartments that reek strongly of marijuana, one of which is visited at unusual hours by a bunch of different people, some of whom were wearing gang colors. My fiance no longer felt safe walking our dog after some guy followed her around the complex staring at her. There were some lovely people who managed this place, but they left, and they did put money into it, but the water still goes out every other week, and they scam you out of every dollar they can. If you have other options, explore them. If not, read the contracts yourself, and dont trust the oral summary the management gives you.2/5 because the first year was great, the second was crap, and the moveout was ridiculous.
Lots of burglaries and issues with break ins. Here’s a pair of burglars from yesterday.
Horrible management
Where should I begin? First off, dont move here. The low security deposit and cheaper rent is not worth it. From the outside it might look better, however I do recommend looking around the property beyond what they show you and the model apartment. The stairs and railing of the model apartment look nice but the rest of the complex is rusting away. No they will not do a walk through with you upon getting your keys but simply fetching you to find your place. Ive lived here for 2 years and I am so excited to have this hell hole behind me. Living off of 38th and Keystone might have given me a better peace of mind than Villa Paree. A hit and run to my car, gun shots into an adjacent neighbors apartment, constant jamming of the limited laundromat machines, squirrels in the walls, water being shut off at the complexs leisure, and littering of complex news are a few things one can look forward to here. I would not have even moved here if I didnt need to find a place from out of state within 2 weeks of accepting a job offer. Stay away from here. No the gym wont get better, the new management is worst than the old management, and no they wont extend laundromat or gym hours. If you choose to live here some peculiar neighbors will keep you entertained if you enjoy stalkers and creeps this is the place for you.Clearly the individuals giving this place 5 stars either work for the management company or are use to subpar living conditions.Upon moving out I discovered mold growing in my coat closet. And I pointed out the mold and they said we dont have to knock out walls unless its black mold. Renter beware.
I have been here a couple months. I find the rent to be high, but I got in on a deal so that made it worth it. The grounds are nice and well kept. The laundry center would be perfect, except the unposted hours have left me locked out-twice. No biggie, just post the hours on the door outside, please. Ive had a handful of maintenance requests, all were annoying on my end im sure, and were handled the next business day to my liking. Management has been helpful and positive. I assume the new security is who I see from time to time parked near my unit is nice, seeing as how a dealer is my neighbor. We all know what that entails: randoms getting their fix coming and going. Music and noises are easily heard, however its expected- Its an apartment complex, and the age is old so the walls/floors are thin. The railing is steel and the paint is peeling, but feels sturdy. So up close its merely an eyesore. Ive enjoyed the gym aka the treadmill, although I hear it is on the renovation list this year so thats pretty cool. I can handle what comes with living in an apartment complex, if the management and maintenance are to my liking. I give this place a solid 9 out of ten stars for the short time Ive been here. The location is awesome to me. Its within walking distance of banks, gas station, food, cvs, dollar general, and a mile away from groceries and Wal-Mart. I LOVE the inside of my apartment. The space is great, and mine is updated. I wanted to give a real and honest review and here it is. So far so good!!
Ready for my lease to be up . Not once but three times I’ve slipped down the metal stairs and was left with huge bruises told the office their answer was it should be something on the stairs to prevent that . Hm. The laundry mat is horrible, no quarter machines just pay by card . So annoyed . My unit is literal falling apart . The dish washer stinks and I don’t use it . the toilet leaks from the bottom overall not worth what I’m paying .
Will be moving soon as my lease is up.
