All I can say is... if you HAVE to come to this place, keep a record of EVERYTHING. Record your phone calls, keep a receipt of all paid bills, print emails, etc.The management at this place is very poor. They will blame you, as the resident/s, for their mistake/s.
The bugs! Even after their “thursday pest control”I have woken up in the middle of the night to big bugs and spiders and centipedes in my bedroom. Imagine being terrified of going to sleep in your own home because you don’t know if there will be bugs or not.I don’t think they take this pest issue very seriously honestly,I had to call several times for them to come take a look at it the first couple times. I’m not sure if I can live here any longer. The rent is affordable but comfort is more important.
I lived for about three years in this condo and I loved it from day one, I recommend it 100% to all families who long for a quiet and beautiful place
Front office staff is very friendly. They are so friendly and when moving in last year they made my move quick and easy. The apartments are very clean and spacious. I have not had one issue while living here! Would recommend to anyone interested!!
Well all I have to say is dont go to Sebring Court to visit family or friends. If you park in parking spots in front of any building your car will get towed. We were there 2 hours and it cost us $150.00 to get it out of Indys Finest. This apartment complex needs to make it a lot more clear where visitors can park. There was no sign in front of spot we parked. I do not recommend living or visiting there.
Do NOT live here!!! pests! PLEASE don’t live here! Management is a pain when issues arise. My friends cars got broken into within two months back to back and they did NOTHING! You would think they’d be smart and install security cameras... yea no! Not kidding livid! They are HORRIBLE! Wish I could give them a ZERO!
I have no complaints living here. The maintenance team works quickly and my neighbors are as quiet as you can expect living in an apartment. I love my patio and plan to start a little garden in the spring. The office staff is really nice; Jennifer is a sweetheart. Nicely remodeled too, I love the white cabinets!
Sammy takes pride in his work and in representing Sebring Court and Sexton Properties. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to doing his best every day. He is always polite and courteous to the residents. When Sammy fixes something in your apartment you know that it will be done properly and done right the first time. He is an excellent maintenance technician!!!
I wasn’t expecting much when I came in yesterday to sign my lease. However, as soon as I came in I was met and made welcome by Wendy and Connie. Wendy then did a walk through with me in my apartment and I was quickly impressed by how the apartment looked. New carpet and paint gave it that new apartment smell lol. The outside area was CLEAN! Not a single piece of trash out there. They were also very accommodating and let me used their moving truck without a hassle. It’s been a really great start for me and I’m glad I picked Sebring Court as my new home!
I have lived at Sebring Court for over 6 years and love it! I thought about buying a house, but I dont want to deal with all of the maintenance issues. Maintenance is pretty quick to take care of any requests that I call in and so far I havent had any major issues. I do like my apartment location. I have a ground floor apartment on the end of the building so I only have 1 neighbor above me and 1 next to me. Overall my experience has been great!
I give them no stars. THIS IS THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX I HAVE EVER LIVED IN. They truly are bad for business. Rent is overpriced. I have been here for more than 4 years and this will be my last year. I have had packages stolen off of my doorstep. Later finding the package empty down the street. They have men walking around at night, not that this is a crime but when I have guess they have to park around the corner and walk a mile to get back to my apartment, which isnt safe for a female at night. Their parking situation is horrible!!! They make simple things so complex. They switch management often. They tell you one thing and do another. I believe theyre working with the towing company to figure out how to get over on people. I woke up one morning and my car was towed because they gave me the wrong parking pass! I have lived and worked for several apartment complexes and this by far is the most unorganized one I have ever seen. If your looking for a nice town-home or apartment, try The Island Club or Eagle Lake Landing both just down the street. Dont waist your money! The apartment is not worth it at all. & let me just add, this is my first review... thats how fed up I am. I never care to write reviews but I though I should save some lives.
Stopped in once recently. The property looked great. Attention to detail. The community is lovely. The staff are great. Clubhouse and pool area very nice!
1st Month - This was a horrible decision!!! I am in my first month of being in my townhome. When you first move in you will need to create a check list to address any issues with the unit that needs to be fix. And none of my issues have been fix. My A/C doesn’t work on the 2nd floor but it works fine on the 1st floor, which mean I cant even sleep in my bedroom because the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Because of this I have slept on the 1st floor in my living room since being here. Sleeping on the first floor isn’t easy either because of the insects. I’ve seen 4 big spiders in the living room which I reported to management. The manager said don’t worry we do routine bug treatments on Thursdays….WOW! And I still see bugs on regular basis. This is only a few of my problems since ive been here. I have nice neighbors, but management is no help. I am going to KEEP doing monthly reviews on the progress of the issues I am having. Check the availability with a local government housing project, you might be happier with the conditions there.
I have lived in this complex for the past 2 years and I must say it is a great community to live in. The staff is very nice and friendly and Connie is awesome... she actually does follow-ups!!! But my favorite person has to be CHUCK the maintenance guy. He is very efficient, friendly, courteous and gets the job done in a timely fashion.
Very clean well maintained apartment complex. Maintenance is on top of fixing stuff and the leasing staff is AWESOME!! Wendy went above and beyond to ensure my move in was easy and enjoyable.
I am a current resident of sebring court and I have been living here for 5 years. So far there havent been any major issues to report as maintenance as well as the staff pretty much stay on top of things I like the fact that its quiet and low key and not a lot of crime. The rooms are spacious and almost feel like a house and for the price you pay for what you get. I will say some of the appliances are outdated but that doesnt seem to bother me much as some of the older stuff is better than the new up to date stuff. I may be residing here another several years since Im not one to move too often anyway.
Just moved in and I am very happy. The staff is great and very friendly and always follow up like they say. I worked with Wendy and she is great very helpful.
Water leaks and bug infestations. rent at your own risk.
Love this place! Location is convenient with easy access to 465 and short drive to the airport. Office staff and maintenance are friendly and provide great service. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed talking to Connie (management) about the Sebring Court Apartments. She was very interested with what my needs was and how she could help me. It is not very often now adays that people actually care. The apartment and grounds were very clean
The staff at Stanford Court is awesome! Maintenance is the best! Office staff and Maintenance are always more that willing to help to make Stanford Court truly feel like home!
I wish I could give those staff ZERO star. They discriminate Chinese people when you have problem related to your electrical fee, utility fee and so on. I strongly suggest you reconsider the decision if you want to live here and if you are Asian face. They will not deal with any problem but only charge the money from you.
Manager and office staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. Spacious and clean apartments. Clubhouse and pool area are very nice.
Sammy is very professional and extremely polite. He quickly detects the problem with appliances, etc. he knows how to fix everything I’ve ever requested. He is very dedicated to his position.
It’s a really nice area. The staff is always great. They always have really good cookies.
AMAZING place to live... love the staff especially Connie...very friendly and helpful. Location is wonderful!
Naithan Davila : Sammy is a great tech and hard worker. He always finishes the work he does. Also he is an expert in his work and very responsible and honest. We are lucky to have him here since for a long time there was not a good maintenance. He deserves an A+.
Sebring Court is a great complex with great people. Friendly and helpful staff that are great to work with! I highly recommend them.
Sebring Court is a wonderful place to live! The maintenance crew is top notch and the leasing office personnel are always happy to help with any issue we have.
Office manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. She informed me on anything that I was concerned about.Great asset to your company!
Beautiful property with a fantastic Property Manager, Connie! So close to everything and I love the spacious kitchens and landscape.
I don’t feel safe my car was broke into and all I’ve got was sorry. Back to the East side for me. The manager claims there are no problems. I’d rather be homeless again
I visited today and found the property very clean and updated. I was approached by the management and was very satisfied with their knowledge of the property. Thank you for all the information
Peaceful safe place to live. Maintenance staff is efficient and fast. Thanks Chuck!
Apartments are run very well .. especially Connie is doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend!
Maintenance is incredible. Fast and efficient. Great place to live
The property manager, Connie, is amazing! She is so nice and goes above and beyond to help you.
Sebring Court is a wonderful community. Office staff is so helpful. Great location!
Here are some objective things that have happened to me while at Sebring; I hope it helps you decide for yourself whether to move here.1.) The reports of stolen packages are true. My roommate and I have had 3 stolen this year. We have also recovered 2/3 of the packages which were rifled through and tossed in the snow. We called the office asking if they could put a flier or something out regarding these thefts, and after being assured it would happen it never did.2.) My roommate and I have had our cars towed improperly 3 TIMES. In each case the permits were displayed, cars were fine/not an eyesore, etc. No reason to tow. Even though the office admitted fault in all cases, we were not reimbursed for the $300 towing fees of the first 2. Our cars were in effect stolen, and we had to pay a $300 ransom.3.) When locks were changed a couple years back, we came home after work and were instructed that residents who came home after business hours were to call the 24-7 maintenance man who would bring us our keys. We did. For 2 hours. The line was busy. Between the 2 of us we called over 40 times. I even reached out to neighboring Sexton communities for help. The 24-7 maintenance man on call at Stanford Court was very kind, and tried to call the office himself, and also got a busy signal, so we were locked out for the night (and had to get a cheap hotel to sleep a few hours/shower for work the next morning; emergency locksmiths were more expensive). When I called Sebring the next day, they denied the phone was busy (without checking with the on-call guy), said it was not their problem, we could have stayed in our car/called a emergency locksmith, and would in no way pay for the cheap hotel. I called the owner whose rep also said it was our responsibility. At least Stanford Court checked into it, validated it, and apologized for Sebring.4.) No snow removal/salt except for 1 time this year on our street (and it quickly disappeared as we got more snow/ice the next day). Dangerous for anyone, but I am recovering from surgery and using a wheel chair currently, so this was especially dangerous this time. Snow/ice removal has always been an issue; after I fell a few years ago, I again called to report the icy sidewalk, noting my fall and that my neighbors were elderly/used a walker, and they could be very seriously hurt. The office person became irate stating: theres a shortage of salt; what are we supposed to do? I noted there was plenty at the local gas station and very seriously volunteered to go buy some for them if theyd salt our sidewalk. She did not take me up on that offer.5.) Maintenance ebbs and flows. The helpful guys dont last. Coming home to dried plaster on my stuff, an obviously used bathroom (yuck...at the time I lived alone so I knew who did it), using my towels to clean up and leaving the dirty things sprawled on a counter, a reported leak/water damage to a window never repaired, maintenance coming into my apartment without being requested/without emergency/without prior notice, (turned out they entered the wrong unit, but the office person at first told me I was lying. Cool.).6.) Getting calls/notes several times for unpaid rent that was paid (including that Id be evicted and my nonpayment was unacceptable).7.) Parts from my and my roommates cars being stolen on 2 occasions. Upon informing the office, the response: why are you telling us?. Well, Ive informed police, but thought youd like to know it was happening...Know the negative reviews you are reading are accurate. My guess is positive reviews are from employees or people in more fortunate buildings. Not anymore for me. I am kicking myself it took so long to leave. I am so looking forward to moving to a place where I dont have to smell pot/cigarettes in the hallway, screaming matches from my neighbors, having my property stolen, my car taken hostage, being locked out, falling on the sidewalk, etc. Not worth $950+ a month. Im grateful to have found better. You can too.
Management was very friendly and nice I really like the apartments there spacious and clean
Ive lived here for 2 years now and I love it. Even when I ALMOST had a problems with other tenants, the problem was solved before I could mention it. Great place to live for families.
Went here to look for apartment for my daughter. Agents in the office were very helpful and extremely pleasant.
Apartments were very nice and well kept and maintained office staff Connie was very helpful
Sammy is a great service tech and a very hard worker, completes all work in a timley manor . Best in the business
Very friendly staff. The manager was very helpfull. Thanks for everything.
Leasing staff’s great with communication and maintenance completes service request fast and efficiently
Great size apartment!! Awesome neighbors!! Maintenance and office staff and a pleasure to work with.
Walked in today Looking to see what was available but wasn’t greeted by anyone, even though some one just walked out. So I left.
Office staff and Maintenance very very friendly. SAMMY came by and fixed light kit very fast.
Nice, quiet place to live. Connie is great to work with...
Stay as far away as possible
Nice place and the management staff are Very nice and helpful and very calm
Sammy is the best maintenance there is. Very knowledgeable and friendly
This is a great complex clean and cheerful, the staff, especially Connie Kemp is a delight.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!All these reviews are true about this place sucking. Management, parking, maintenance, apartment itself is pretty all trash. Don’t count on swimming the pool is closed 3/4 the summer when it’s supoosed to be open.
We apologize that you had an unfortunate incident. We have taken several measures to enhance the safety here at Sebring Court Apartments. That is our first and upmost priority and we have worked very closely with IMPD as well. I ensure that this is not an epidemic here at Sebring, nor is it something that happens frequently. If there is anything we can do, please feel free to contact the office.
The managment and staff at this location are completely incompetent. I have never in my life dealt with such unprofessionalism. When we Moved in - They did not have our apartment ready or the paper work. We had to move to another apartment, call the cable, internet and electric company to move everything to the new apartment and had to handle the billing issues with that. When we paid our initial deposit, they said that it can be split into two payments and when we moved it they said they would get it together and we can come back and get it signed since we were moving in and they felt bad for the hassle. We had asked multiple times about the pet deposit and finally after talking to Amelia, who was a manger, she said she apologized on behalf of the staff because they no long offer the option to split the pet deposit and that we had to pay the pet deposit with the rent. Since I had the extra money, we went ahead and paid it.Moving forward a couple of months- we get a notice on the door talking about we owed rent- and that we needed to pay a certain amount by the a certain date. Thankfully we started keeping copies of the receipts and we found out that they were applying our payments to the wrong account.Once we got that fixed, we had some maintenance issues but they got that taken care of. Here we are in June dropping off the rent and they are telling us that we have to pay the pet deposit. WE ALREADY PAID IT. We have been dropping our rent off at the office personally because they stopped using the drop box. Not one person said there anything about this pet deposit. My husband talks to whoever the new lady is, Amelia and the VP and they all agree that because there arent any notes that we need to pay it. First off, We have been coming in there for months and no one has called or said a thing for MONTHS. I am livid at this point because we have paid all the bills on time and they have the nerve to say that they will file to get the eviction process started instead of checking to make sure that they didnt make a mistake. The worst part is, I cant even find the receipt and I am mad because I know that we paid it because otherwise we wouldnt have made it this far into June.My Biggest issue with this complex and team is that they have failed to communicate and even though Amelia was helpful I am just as disappointed because we talked to her specifically about this issue. I understand that she was not there the next day but whoever was did not do their job. We have done everything that we are supposed to do and are given the run around when we asked for the copies of every payment given. They do not want to give us the corporate number or anything. This is beyond unprofessional. We are not trouble making tenants nor do have late payments.I expect for someone to call us and work with us to get this resolved.
Weve lived at Sebring Court for over 3 years now and love it! Our apartment is wonderful and the staff is quick to fix any problems or issues.
Before making your final decision on Sebring Court, I would look at neighboring apartments first. Other apartments in the area offer a lot more space and amenities for the same price. You will have to pay extra for newer appliances here if you dont want to be stuck with appliance from the 80s. Also, most of these apartments dont get much sunlight due to the overgrown trees and brush. Not to mention the many raccoons and badgers that inhabit these forest and rummage through the complex and trash at night. Speaking of trash, there is only one trash can in the complex. Be prepared to walk/run/drive your trash a half mile to the complexs one trash bin that is overflowing 5/7 days of the week. They do have a nice walking trail but majority of the time its over run with geese droppings that prevent you from enjoying it. You dont hear your neighbors beside you very much, but If you have the option Id choose a second floor apartment so you dont have to hear the upstairs neighbors walk above you all day.Moving in and out of here was a headache. Your paperwork will be take ages to process and dont even think about getting your deposit back. They automatically charge you for carpet and paint which can total over $500. You can try to dispute it, but it doesnt seem like they are very interested in giving you back your deposit.Overall, if youre just looking for an average apartment, then Sebring Courts may be a good choice for you. Theres not much crime and its close to the 465 and 74 highways. They dont offer many amenities and the apartments are just apartments, theres not much else to say. However, if you do choose to live here, Id recommend Carol as your agent. She is one of the longer lasting agents there and excels at her job. She has a very bright personality and will go out of her way to make sure you feel accommodated. Her skill in customer service is easily Sebring Courts best amenity.
They r some pretty good apartments n the community look pretty nice
Great Complex...love the manager and the grounds!
Great staff and very well maintained property!!!
If you live here your apartment will be broken into, and to top it all off the company will not help you in your time of need or even show any sympathy, as it is just another day for them. Out of the 6 apartments that my friends live in in there 3 have been broken into. Their security system is a complete joke. I would never in my life recommend anyone to move in here no matter what. Terrible. They make you feel like you are hassling them when you report the burglary.
Im so livid right now you cant even visit family or friends over here I was not even here an hour and my car was towed and cost 150 to get out I wasnt parked in the handicap and there wasnt a sign outside I will not be returning to these apartments this is ridiculous
This is a clean property and maintenance is great
Management was friendly, place is very nice!
I moved in these run down apartments in 2014...i have a laundry list of things that are absolutely wrong here. But my time is valuable and I know yours is too, so I will try and keep it at a minimum. Well first things first, the condition of my unit before I moved in was just utterly disgusting. They allowed me to do a walk through of this unit while it was not in any condition to be seen. (Im not over exaggerating any of this) whomever lived their prior was filthy and nasty, as the unit displayed. I had to request, new microwave, stove, washer/dryer, refrigerator, flooring in the kitchen, bathrooms and the 1 thing they refused to replace (thats makes a HUGE difference) was that NASTY ASS carpet. I felt sick to my stomach when I looked at it. None the less they didnt budge with it. So with that being said it had to be cleaned at least 4-5 times. Not to mention one of the reasons for the multiple cleanings was because they did ceiling work in the living room. And got plaster ALL OVER the damn floor which caused this white powder substance to surface on my belongings. Now Im gona fast forward a bit cause its to much as I stated. Now, lets get to my roommates. I didnt know I would be sharing my 3bdrm townhome that I paid $1000.00 a month for with a family of Mice! I apparently had been housing this family for some time and didnt know it. So from November of 2015 or 2016 is when the 1st one was seen, I have been killing them little MFs left and right. I just killed that last 2 this year, the month of March or April 2017....ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I now pay $1140 a month in rent because Im doing month to month to get the hell outta here. Ive called corporate to see if they would consider waving that $100 fee for doing month to month, considering the SH** Ive had to deal with. I was told no and that if they do it for me then they would have to do it for everyone. Ummm excuse me, im not worried about everyone else, im worried about my living space thats been invaded and that ive had to throw out most of my belongings because of these nasty creatures. Not to mention they are not gona miss that little $100 dollars...i mean really......When I say its more than a single person should have to deal with, with the rates that their charging. Its ridiculous and unfair. Their maintenance sucks A**, thank goodness I have a father that taught me how to fix things around the house but he cant teach me how to not be afraid of rodents. Im sorry, anyone that can live like that and still willing to pay to live like that is foul. And that goes to show what kind of people Sebring Court is and the people who chose to live like that. You would think that by now they would have a handle on how these rodents that are getting in and out but clearly OUR MONEY is being used for landscaping. wish I could live outside on the lawn since they choose to take better care of the upkeep of the outside property better than the units. But since Im afraid of bugs and there are plenty of other wild life that roam the grounds, Ill just move out and give my money to a worthy property or home. NEVER EVER will I recommend these apartments to anyone I know or a complete stranger. The ONLY way I would is if they blow these BITC*** up and start from scratch. And if I was some of these sister properties that are affiliated with SEXTON COMMINITIES, I would try and remove myself from the name as you could get a bad wrap just because 1 or 2 are TRASH. Darby Court is within minutes from These and are SEXTON owned, but the upkeep INSIDE AND OUT is MUCH MUCH BETTER! .....Yes Im scratching my head too!!!🤔🤔🤔 So if your looking, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look past these. Thank you but No Thank You.
I thought they were very professional and very happy to answer all of our questions!!!
The most stupid property management. Physical scam. They took my 120 and only refund 50. How do I get a paystub for 1 month when Ive just started for 1 week. You denied and not refund my money full.
My daughter moved theyre last May n the first mth killed 4 mice told Offc staff an they sent someone over to check it out there were holes under sink n wood rotten. It needed replaced but they stuffed the holes wit wire dish pads also spider infestations I could name plenty other things that was wrong etc. Then moving out we didnt purposely leave a mop, 3 wash rags n milk they called it trash n charged $25 SMH wen Im sure it only took one hand to carry it! So I wouldnt recommend these to no one in its not worth $800 nor the pettiness
Management is very nice and friendly apartments are very nice
I have been here for almost 8 months and its one of the most useless apartment complex I have ever seen. The maintenance team is nothing to write home about and the management team consists of staffs that are very rude.Stay off please.
Great staff and excellent service!
Excellent 5 star maintenance and staff.
Wonderful staff and Management Team
Great place to call home
Apartments are very nice and so is the staff
Not a safe communityBreak-ins happening frequently. There was a break-in in my apartment and next week there was another break-in across the street. It is so frequent that cops had started patrolling.
Excellent staff to work with!
Great staff to work with!!
Great staff.
Maintenance is not getting done at all.
Great manager
Ineffective management

Honestly at first it was nice to live here, but now Im tired of having to live here, I cant wait for the day when I dont live here anymore, I have nefarious neighbors who smoke all the time even they smoke in common areas, when I get to home after work my apartment stinks of cigarette smoke, that is very unfair .... I have a baby and the smoke affects him too much, I already went to the office and told them more than 10 times about the problem about my Neighbors, they dont do anything ... now Im about to call an organization that can help me ... I dont have to put up with this, nor does my family have to put up with this ... not forgetting the roaches and pests that Ive found ... I hate living here. I also want to mention that packages have been stolen from my door and my car has been hit ...
