I don’t even live here but I visit a lot. The kids are literally JUMPING other kids outside but nobody would know bc there’s NO CAMERAS! The person I come to visit, there ceiling leaks water whenever someone takes a shower or bath and it comes through the LIGHT! Maintenance excuse is it’s bc there’s water on the floor or that they “fixed” it but it’s still ongoing. They haven’t fixed the toilet that the tenant has been asking to get fixed for months! It’s ridiculous! Oh and let’s not mention on move in day, they made them and myself wait in a car with 2 kids and nowhere to go for 1 hour in the rain stating that the people aren’t there to give them keys yet bc they’re on lunch… so unprofessional. They never answer the phone and ignores people knocking on the door PURPOSELY trying to use the “COVID” excuse. I can’t wait for them to move I don’t like this for them or anyone living here!

Office work don’t do they job in want answer the phone

THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE!they have horrible service from the office to maintenance. they haven’t came to fix our floors in our kitchen that have been leaking for about a month(which is causing mildew) and our floors to rise. maintenance came and “fixed” it but left a BIG hole under our sink which has caused mice to come into our living space. our back sliding door is SHATTERED, which is a safety hazard to us living in the apartment AND we just found mold in our room (which we should NOT be breathing in). they don’t answer the phone when we need them and ignore us knocking on the office door when our living space is inhabitable. this is getting pretty ridiculous.

I was wondering until when the gonna lock the door. From my understanding they have good covid excuse not to handle properly. And they r worst customer ever. They charge you as they pleased one time charge you same as everybody and next year charge you double or triple. Im glad Im not seeing them again. Worst apartment old nasty stinky old appliances everything and they charge more.

Not all too goodWe moved in here in January of 2020 with a 12 month lease agreement with hopes of moving into a larger apartment in the same place. For the first few months, it was going great. No roaches, no maintenance problems or anything like that. Then it slowly became worse. First, maintenance issues became more frequent. We were calling them almost once a week to fix one thing or the other. Then came the roaches. 3-4 months in, we started to notice roaches in the kitchen and quickly called maintenance. They called in some exterminators and they sprayed some stuff but it barely did anything. We ended up having to call them back a few weeks later. A year in, it turned into a full on roach infestation. Roaches EVERYWHERE now. No matter how much we try, they just seem to keep on coming.Then, a big problem happened. Their water pipes burst. We, along with many other tenants had no water at all for 2 days. We had to resort to getting water from the taps outside just to take a shower.If all that wasn’t worse enough, when our 12 month lease was supposed to come to a close in January of 2021, we were informed that they had no available apartments and that we may have to wait till April of the same year. April came and went and they still told us the same story… no apartments available. As of writing this, we’ve spent a year and a half on a 12 month lease. Even worse, we recently called in again and asked when they would have an apartment available and they told us it’s likely they wouldn’t have one till next year, in 2022. Our only two options as of now is to wait for God knows how long or to break our overextended lease and have to pay over $400 (they actually said that)Our experience at Carriage House started great at first, but It quickly turned sour and now I’m just waiting to be out of here. Some good things I’ll give them though is that their rent is cheap and close to a lot of places, and that it’s along the IndyGo bus route. Just know what you signed up for though because the people at the apartment office will never tell you how it truly is.

Me and my kids are enjoying our stay here. Just happy to be in our own space. The ants are an issue they keep coming back. Maintenance response fast.

I love my apartment . I have been here almost 3 years . The only thing I can say is the apartments could use updates with the appliances, and ever since they closed the back gate entrance it had been such an inconvenience, especially with the snow and coldness. It takes way longer to get to the destinations that I need to be . I’m not sure why they closed it but it was NOT a good or convenient idea for those who live here & love directly by the back entrance . It is hard to get up the hill in the front when it is snow and slick on the ground .Other than that I absolutely love it here .

I have been here four years never had any problems with anyone. But the laundry room need big improvements, no bathroom, no chairs,one table, need cleaning daily, i just dont use anymore. They need up dates on the apartments or stop going up on the rent every year, it shouldnt be. I would stay another four years if they had washer and dryer in apartments or building. Overall i approve.

The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and well kept. Moved into our apartment with ease. Love, love, love the office staff. Maintenance is very nice and courteous. Very close to all kinds of shops, walmart, family dollar, etc. Couldnt ask for mich better. 😁

The maintenance is quick and kind. The office ladies aren’t the friendliest people in the world.The laundry facility is always disgusting, nothing every gets cleaned in the building. There’s mud, leaves, lint from the dryers, socks, underwear and even dried blood that’s been there for at least 2 weeks.Apartments are decent for the price you pay. There’s not much good to say about this place.

Literally the worst place ever, it’s infested, it’s disgusting, they don’t care about their residents sake. it’s just nasty over here. we’ve been waiting months to move to a “better apartment” that they had, still no avail. it’s just terrible.

It is in serious need of rehab. They have lots of plumbing issues since it was built about 50 years ago and it isnt properly maintained.When they get the apartment ready after the tenants have moved out they try to make them look good so the appearance is good.The rent is too high for what toy get.

Great apartments honestly ! Im 24 & its the best choice for someone starting off in a 1 bedroom

I just moved from these apartments and my experience has been good until the moving out. They charged me 1000 dollars for some damages that were already done. This place is full of people with section 8 vouchers so they have alot of ridiculous regulations. They dont have a pool for your kids, you cant grill at your home. The staff dont even greet you when you walk in the door. I would only recommend living here if you have section 8 but people like me who have to pay the full price 759 for a 2 bedroom its almost a slap in the face living next to someone paying only 50 dollars. They dont do a good job at all with the ice and snow. I will never in life recommend anyone I know to move here.

***If youre checking out these apartments, dont expect to physically see a room. They show you a picture book of old pictures thats falling apart, expect you to pay for an application, see your apartment months later, and then sign the lease after one walk in. For the amount of apartments they have, apparently one display of each floorplan was too much to ask***So my significant other and I went to check out these apartments today (12/13/2018). We walked into the office and were not greeted at all. There was a blonde woman with glasses (who never introduced herself) sitting at the desk youre immediately greeted with when you walk through the door. She was helping a young man fix what seemed to be a phone number on his application. She was bitter and resentful towards him, and it honestly felt like a product of racism/intolerance. The young man was quiet and calm, and ultimately wanted to just fix his application without having to pay an additional $25. It really looked like they were trying to screw this young man out of money.After awkwardly standing around, we were told to have a seat, and waited a few moments as the blonde employee grabbed us verying forms and papers for the apartment, and threw a book down in front of us. The employee explained that shes been through the book a million times and was going to just let us thumb through it. Even though I wouldve appreciated a few oh by the ways and perhaps someone to point out an ammentity or two.Ultimately there was a lack of professionalism from these apartments and a real lack of respect for the people theyre trying to sell these apartments to. They also clearly could careless if you actually purchase an apartment or not. Apparently any help you need is quite the task for their employees. Might as well moan and complain the entire time youre on shift too.

There is no place like home CHW is a great place to live and very safe I been here for 3 plus years and could write a book on how amazing this journey has been the staff has been great and very welcoming I really appreciate them #GeneGlick

Dont like this place at all

I dont get section 8 so when you have to pay full rent and the place is not up to standard it sucks. I have mice that keeps coming in from under the building and their not doing anything about but, giving me traps and stead of finding where the holes are and covering them up. plus I keep getting ants everywhere u can see where they coming in at. Plus they dont fix stuff right my windows are hard to close and the screen s are not on good and they want you to cut your own grass for almost 740 I can live in a house and the maintenance back up in our parking spots and nails fall off their trucks all day long. Also the staff is not friendly when I moved in they was nice but, they changed staff they have different people with different attitudes. So bad. My lease is coming up Im not staying this is bad like Pangea with all them roaches. Im so furstated with these places and steady going up on the rent. Crazy

I applied for appointment a few days ago because they said it will be available at the time that I want, after they took the money they call me back and said we give someone the appointment cause your background check is delayed......this is theft !! I will NOT recommend this to anyone
