I’ve been living here almost 8 months. Not a bad apartment at all. The rent is pretty reasonable and the area seems fine. I’ve had no issues with safety. Maintenance is pretty prompt and super nice. I haven’t had any issues other than noisy neighbors who play music until 3 am or a dog that barks at 4 in the morning. The walls are pretty thin here, so you can pretty much hear everything. Try to get a third/second floor apartment (not a middle one or ground floor). My only other complaint is that people don’t seem to clean up after their dogs even though there’s complimentary waste disposal cans on the property; not the property’s fault but it is super annoying.

I personally like living here, they always manage to take care of the things I need done. Always patient and understanding of any situation. Staff is always respectful and trusting. Good vibes this place gives me. -Audrey Chadwick

Its a nice place that has put in a dog park and exercise room. The office people are kind and helpful. The maintenance is prompt but I have only needed them to replace old thermostat.

I have lived here for just about 3 years and it’s a great place to live. Pet friendly and quick whenever there’s a problem. Great communication and good amenities, when it’s warm enough to enjoy them.

If you want to live in a place that is terribly managed and will change your locks before your lease is up this is your place. Also they will charge you for things that were already damaged when you you move out. Moving into this apartment complex is the worst decisions you could make for your family.

Parc Bordeaux has been a good place to call home. I moved in in August and have loved it ever since. The gym facility is great. The maintenance staff moves quickly and efficiently.

I was denied with no explanation, went up there 4 days in a row to get my deposit back n they where closed each day and it is impossible to get someone on the phone.

Weve had so many issues since moving here. Maintenance is never available. Our hot water went out and we had to deal with that for a few days before they had to bring in maintenance from another property because they cant keep staff. We had a water leak on memorial day and the emergency maintenance number was shut off. Ants everywhere. Dog feces and urine everywhere. We cant sit on our patio because the smell is so strong. They never answer the phones. They say theyll call back and never do. Dont waste your time looking here.UPDATE!The laundry room had been flooded for over a month. The water entered our apartment and we were constantly stuck cleaning it up. Anytime we stepped outside our shoes were soaked because the water was that deep. We had called the office numerous times and left voicemails with no response. We still have mold in our closets and an opening in the water heater closet due to a previous leak that has yet to be addressed. I called and asked to speak with the property manager and was told she was not there that day, then asked for corporate number and was told let me ask the property manager for it (but she wasnt in?!). I called corporate and still no response. Finally i sent them an email asking to just release us from the lease due to numerous issues again no response. This place is a JOKE!!!!

They did not even bother to show up to give me my scheduled tour...I live 4 hours away and I am looking for a new home in Indianapolis. I scheduled a tour date and time a WEEK in advice with Jill over the phone. When I showed up to the office, it was CLOSED. My boyfriend and I waited outside for 20 minutes, to at least give them a chance. I understand things happen, perhaps a flat tire? Slept in late? Bad traffic? Whatever. As we are patiently waiting, a current resident also comes to the office and appears mad to see the office closed (as their offices hours were supposed to be open during that time). She comes over to us and asked if we were perspective renters. As we get to talking, she tells us horror stories and a million different reasons to not movie in. After our conversation, we instantly left. We will definitely not be renting with them.

MY DAUGHTER HAS AN APARTMENT HERE AND WHEN HER AND I LOOKED AT THE APARTMENT, WE THOUGHT IT WAS VERY NICE AND SPACIOUS. THE APARTMENT ITSELF IS NICE, BUT IN THE PAST MONTH, SHE IS GETTING REALLY FRUSTRATED WITH THINGS. FOR ONE THING, THERE WERE SEVERAL THINGS SHE HAD MENTIONED FOR MAINTENANCE TO DO, AND IT TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO GET ANYTHING DONE. ALSO, SHE WAS TOLD THE MAINTENANCE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO SOME PAINTING ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE YET. NOW, THERE ARE REAL PROBLEMS WITH PEOPLE AND THEIR DOGS. THE AREA SHE TAKES HER DOG, NO ONE CLEANS UP AFTER THEIR DOG, DOGS ARE TIED UP OUTSIDE TO DO AS THEY PLEASE AND JUST TODAY, SHE SAW A DOG WITHOUT A LEASH. THIS IS NOT FAIR FOR HER WHEN SHE FOLLOWS THE RULES WITH HER DOG, WHEN OTHER PEOPLE ARE NOT FOLLOWING RULES. HER DAD AND I ARE GETTING FRUSTRATED ALONG WITH OUR DAUGHTER AND CANT WAIT FOR HER LEASE TO BE UP, SO SHE CAN GET OUT OF THIS PLACE, UNLESS THINGS CHANGE.I DIDNT KNOW HOW TO WRITE A NEW REVIEW, SO I AM JUST ADDING TO THIS CURRENT ONE, MY DAUGHTER STILL ISNT HAPPY WITH SOME DIFFERENT THINGS ABOUT THIS APARTMENT. THEY FINALLY DID SOME PAINTING ON THE OUTSIDE, WHICH LOOKS ALOT BETTER, BUT SINCE SHE HAS BEEN THERE, SHE IS ON THE 2ND FLOOR, AND THERE ARE NO POSTS TO HOLD UP HER OUTSIDE PORCH AND SHE DOESNT FEEL SAFE TO STAND ON IT. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY HERS AND THE ONE NEXT TO HERS DOESNT HAVE ANY POSTS HOLDING IT UP. ALSO, BY THE TIME ANYONE COULD GO SWIMMING IN THE POOL, THE NICE WEATHER WAS PAST, AND NOTHING WAS SENT OUT SAYING THE POOL WAS FIXED. ONE LAST THING IS THAT LAST THURSDAY, SHE NOTICED SOME MOLD AROUND HER BEDROOM WINDOW, SHE CALLED THE OFFICE AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD PUT A WORK ORDER IN. SHE CAME HOME, BECAUSE WE DIDNT WANT HER TO STAY THERE WITH MOLD AND GET SICK. SHE WENT BACK THIS MORNING, AND THE MOLD WAS STILL THERE. I WOULD THINK THAT SHOULD BE A PRIORITY. IT MAKES ME THINK THERE IS NO THOUGHT IN THE WELL BEING OF THE TENANTS. MY DAUGHTER BROUGHT SOME CLEANING SUPPLIES WITH HER JUST IN CASE, BUT I DONT THINK SHE SHOULD HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THESE THINGS HERSELF. THAT IS WHY SHE PAYS RENT. WE ARE ALL PRETTY FRUSTRATED WITH THIS PLACE.

I live here currently. The apartments themselves are ok. But maintenance is an issue I get emails saying that the issues have been solved but they haven’t! I’ve gone to the office several times they write things down but as usual nothing is fixed my bathroom is literally flooding all the time. The rent it way to high for what your getting! Things always break down! We couldn’t even do my infant child’s laundry because someone broke into the card machine to reload money cards. Not that they cared of course! It took a week for that to be resolved!

CARS WILL BE BROKEN INTO!!!! if you live here please for the love of god leave nothing of value in your vehicle. I can’t believe we signed a lease here and are actually thinking of how to come up with the money to break it. You guys need to invest in better security/cameras and seriously have a gated community. I can’t believe all of the reviews saying car break ins and being stolen. And you’ve done nothing about it as far as amping up security ??? This is pitiful ! Charge me 400$ a month if this is what we get.

If you have time to babysit this place its an ok place to live. When moved in my A/C wasnt working and they didnt do anything until I threatened to withhold rent. When my heat was out and it was -20 I was told that maintenance couldnt fix it because it would take him longer than an hour. If they dont post your rent in time, you are expected to go back and continually check and see if its there to pay. So if you have time to just waste playing babysitter to the complex its a decent place to live. But you get what you pay for.

I’ve been here over a year now, and I’m overall quite happy with it. The size of the apartment is really good for the price, parking is readily available, and office staff are always helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I’ve had two packages stolen (having been left at my door) within the past few months, but otherwise, no major issues.

Sucks; Apartment looks nice both from the inside and outside, but Maintenance hasnt fixed anything the entire time Ive lived here. My roof has been leaking for months, theres an ant problem, and I have no screen doors or closet doors and cant get anyone to install them. Maintenance also lost the key to my apartment and made me print a new one so that they could get into my apartment to not fix things while Im gone. I wouldnt recommend this place unless you want trash customer service and broken/missing things.

Been here just under a year. I absolutely love it. I am not a very social person but there are a large quantity of community events and the people are extremely nice and welcoming. The front desk promptly answers all my questions and the maintenance process is extremely fast and simple. Best of all, they have fantastic online support in which I am able to submit maintenance tickets and questions with a 2nd-3rd shift schedule. Although Ive had a few minor maintenance problems since moving in, they fixed everything (including AC) in no more than 2-3 days each time. Great environment, price and location. Easily the best choice of apartment I could have made as a full time student who works downtown. They have a community pool. Laundry rooms are available for each block of about 12 apartments. Would recommend this apartment to any size family, elderly folks or students.

I was considering renting here but due to the reviews I refuse to get sucked into deadbeat maintenance. I have been that route before. Good luck on future residents.

I would literally give no stars if it meant I could still leave a review. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! my AC has been broken for !7! Months which is ALL SUMMER. And they constantly send a guy out here to look at it and be like “yup that’s broken” and change the status of my maintenance claim to complete. The rent is way to high for what the apartment is worth!! My car has been broken into 2 times and the storage unit in the laundry room was broken into as well. THE OFFICE DID NOTHING. THIS IS METH AND LOW LIFE CENTRAL!! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!

It seemed nice at first, we rented a studio for a year and had no issues, other than the fact that there was a long, dark hallway with lights on a timer so it was pitch black during the day. We solved that by putting our own lamp outside, no biggie. Then there was the fact that someone was smoking weed outside the hallway, which was pulled by the ventilation into our apartment and made us sick, but that was an inconsiderate resident, not the apartments fault. Well we decided to renew our lease (big mistake) and upgraded to a bigger apartment (2 bedroom) so we could have a guest bedroom. Our AC didnt work, it took them almost 2 months to give us our mailbox keys, there are almost weekly inspections but you only get 2 or 3 days notice. No one ever answers the phone, not even once in our over a year of living here, and the office is never open when thay say it will be. Our neighbor below us is nuts. She claims were up all night, making noise so she cant sleep. We talked to her multiple times explaining that we both work early and full time, so we couldnt possibly be up all night. She explained she hears us walking. Thats the noise she hears. Again, were asleep in bed at the times she lists. We talk to the neighbors behind us and they say it was them. We let her know. She said we dumped soapy water on her furniture from patio. We (one time) overturned a table that had collected rain water to the side in the grass. After she mentioned it we never did it again, and that table has been collecting standing water ever since. Weve also seen her spying on us through the window from the parking lot, and lurking at the bottom of the stairs to complain when we walk out of the door. At first we were nice, and tried to resolve it, but we realized it didnt matter what we did so we stopped all contact and avoid her at all costs. A few weeks go by, our neighbors report that she started mocking our religion to them while complaining more about us. We ignored it. The next day we get a notice from Parc Bordeux that we were in violation of our lease terms for excessive noise, dumping liquids from the balcony, and an unauthorized resident in our apartment and that our lease would be terminated if we didnt resolve these. No investigation. And the unauthorized resident? My best friend staying for a bit in our guest bedroom. We plan to talk to the office tomorrow and to put in complaints about this lady for stalking, harrassment, and religious discrimination. Apparently she got the lady that lived in this apartment before us evicted, but no one even asked our side of the story before threatening to evict us. Crazy and wed be happy to terminate the lease and move but Im certain theyd have thousands of dollars in hidden fees to leave early since they seem to try to squeeze money at every opportunity. Our neighbors are also planning to move because theyre sick of all of the above items, AC not working, no maintenance, and office never answering theyre phones or being open when they say they will be. Dont live here. (Edit: the apartment handled it fairly well and gave her a notice for harassment, religious discrimination and invasion of privacy. They did say we had to add our friend to the lease even though she only needed a place to crash for a month, and we have a 15 month lease. Silly, but not the worst case scenario.)

Have to give it one star to post. That sad little star is very undeserved. This complex is outdated, rundown, in disrepair. The maintenance department is completely incompetent. When it rains I almost need a canoe to get to my daughters apartment. Her car has been broken into. I cant wait for her to move so I can sleep at night!!

Back in May my A/C went out & I called every day to get it fixed. They kept putting Freon on to reboot it but that would only last a couple hours & they had an actual a/c professional come to look & he told me that the whole unit needed replaced. That’s 5 days after they had kept putting freon back on & this is the beginning of May. It was 90 degrees in my apartment for a month & a half. I had to call the board of health in JUNE to force them to fix it. In the meantime we had a window unit because it was not a living condition for anyone. I actually got sick from pollen getting in my system from the window being open for the window unit because they wouldn’t fix it & the unit got my apartment down to about 78-80 which was better than 90. This was when the old manager Michelle was here & she didn’t care how people lived. She ended up getting fired which was the best safety decision made by Birge & Held. Well at the same time, in April my water heater needed replaced & they replaced it but didn’t turn the water off in the apartment & it flooded. I still at this point have had no help with them replacing my $170 rug or even giving me some money for the electric bill from the window unit running it up. So I have paid $300 a month for IPL because of this & then come to find out my water heater needed replaced AGAIN (twice within a few months) & after it was replaced again, the water still wasn’t getting hot. This was back in August or so. Now back in November I had no hot water again. Come to find out I had TWO leaks in my water lines & that’s what was causing my water heater to constantly run which was keeping my IPL bill at $300 a month. Mind you I have a 1 bed 1 bath & have ALWAYS paid my rent on time. They have still not come to a conclusion on how to help me & it’s December. I will say Jenny (new manager) has been much more reliable & helpful in getting stuff done but it’s the upper management that won’t give her answers on how to help me. If you want to deal with these kind of bills & issues go for it but I don’t know who would. Poor poor hospitality in taking care of the people that pay their bills.

Place is very poorly managed and poorly taken care of. The office is never open at the times it says, or they take 2 hours lunches. The places is not the best, the furnace didnt even have an air filter in it and the cold air return filter looked like its been there for 10 years. The furnace sits in the laundry room and pulls in the air from there and people constantly smoke in the laundry room so it fills the apartment with cigarette smoke, no hot water for a week, no hall way lights so you cant see at night. I would advise staying away from this place. Its an overpriced joke.

Sad and pathetic (and dishonest) that the complex has to put fake positive reviews to make themselves look better.Please be advised they have an outstanding Better Business Bureau complaint against them. Also check the reviews on their FB page for more information on this deceitful dishonest complex.

I have a friend that lives here, and she is constantly calling me to tell me about all the issues she has here. Car break ins, washer flooded and never fixed just out of order, kitchen light falling down, bathroom light never staying on, drugs being sold out of 3 of her neighbors apartments (followed by all of the traffic going in and out of them) which means limited parking, the smell of weed coming through the vents of the neighbor above, favoritism because that neighbor is cousins with a lady in the office, etc. On top of all that, it took a year for them to fix a couple things and shes still waiting for them to finish the rest. I considered renting here, but definitely will not be now. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!To add on**** On 10-19-17 4 teens were breaking into cars dropped a gun OC spray and a purse but did not get caught. A helpful way to improve this place would be to install cameras on the leasing office, and pointing at the street from every building. It wont hurt to spend the money on it. I guarantee thats what everyone around here wants now! Also, 10-21-17 gunshots were fired, but no one knows if the kids were ever caught or if anyone was injured because of course everyone stayed indoors. DONT RENT HERE! Its not worth your money. And ps. My friend has reached out and you guys have an attitude with her or ignore her issues and concerns.

Parc Bordeaux cant even comply with basic health, housing, and building codes. I live in a building with 8 apartments. In my building alone, the health department has cited them with 23 different violations within the past 15 months.One of my neighbors had their car stolen yesterday, and two more said that they had license plates stolen off their cars. The place is disgusting and unsafe.

Lived here for almost a year found out i was paying to heat the laundry room. Also my car got stolen from the parking lot with the doors locked. Ive had many issues with the office. New people all the time at the office but seems like change is being made finally. Also if you have to call the police for anything your going to be waiting about 25 minutes because they wont find your apt

Well good reviews come from employees. Have had mold in my closet since july 3rd of 2017. Its supposedly been fixed but yet still have mold in the closet. Tried to contact corporate numerous times got a response that they dont have a contact number. Therefore cant really call to lodge a complaint. Also windows have leaked for 3 years and they wont replace them. One of the dogs bins to put dog waste hasnt been emptied in months its so full there are bags of poop on the ground. Have pictures still of mold plus mold that is in the ceiling. Also ac unit is coming unmouted so its fixed by just covering the gap between it and the ceiling but not remounted.

Dont recommend this place !!!!!! Laundry machines always messing up. Maintenance cant seem to do there job. And the lady in the front office isnt professional, very rude, and finds it had to do her job. I have asked her many times to fix my patio door (its been over 4 months now) and still not fix. Before the patio door issue I had a problem with my window not sliding properly it would jam up. Asked them to fix it took them over 3 weeks to finally come and fix it and still didnt fix it they just tweeked it. I cant wait to leave this place. Ive lived in many apartments (we move alot) and never had to deal with this.if your like me and like things taken care of at a timely matter you would not like staying here. DONT RECOMMEND!

I really did not like the office girl that was playing on her phone and not wanting to help me when i went in on a Saturday and it was four thirty the sing said five but the girl told me to come back so i came back on a tuesday and there were to girls in therethey both were not nice and acted like i was not wanted there but i needed a place so i still asked to see a apartment but they did not want to show me one they told a young man i think he was maintenance to take me he was real helpfull and nice but i went to another place to live because of the girls there lucky to have so many there .

Didn’t get her name but I don’t appreciate someone trying to insult my intelligence she said that their listings was outdated and that I would have to pay this amount which was something I did not see when I research this apartment complex which leads me to believe that they are long sharks they are money hungry

Big size for an average cost, in a good area, parking isnt a problem. If you have upstairs neighbors it can be a nightmare because they switched to hardwood floors and you can hear absolutely everything. The office staff never really call you back and have irregular hours; maintenance is usually quick for small stuff. The playground is actually pretty old and a little rusty, I cut my hand on the swing -- but the pool, exercise, and welcome center (so basically all the office area) is really nice. Neighbors can be kind of a pill sometimes with loud children or not picking up after their dogs or if you have upstairs neighbors that dont have furniture pads -- especially in the bedroom area... but mostly its the dining tables scraping along the floor that get to be bothersome. Laundry facilities sometimes can be a pain, you dont use cash or anything its a card you have to reload, there is one washer/dryer for each complex. My neighbors car got broken into a couple months ago; the on-call officer doesnt really drive around and monitor at night.

I have lived here for about 10 months now and have already had my apartment robbed when I went to to office to tell them about it they acted shocked and said it never happens there. Come to find out that was a total flat out lie. Our neighbors across the packing lot were robbed at gunpoint and our next door neighbors had the battery stolen out of their car. They were on the news back in December for the large number of robberies and to make it worse they still wont hire onsite security they have on call security.

A lot of break ins and vandalism goes on in this apartment complex . The new office staff is rude, maintenance is lazy and will do anything so they wont have to fix the problem . Too many renters have dogs so theres always dog feces everywhere . Would I recommend this to others prolly not unless youre desperate really need a place to stay

Caution when renting, they will send a collections agency after you prior to submitting a final bill, we were billed for replacing the entire carpet, even though there was nothing more than normal wear and tear, caution!
