We had recently traveled on muddy dirt roads, and the underside of our car was coated in hardened mud like cement. The pony express car wash got most of the mud off and cleaned the rest of vehicles exterior to a beautiful shine.It was a quick and enjoyable experience, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also felt that the prices are quite reasonable. This was my first time going through a car wash, and now I wish there was a Pony Express in my area!

Customer service was excellent! Staff were very friendly. Vacuums have very good suction. It was nice to have rags to spot clean and compressed air to get into the small crevices. I especially loved the mat washer/dryer machine. I highly recommend this car wash. I own a truck and it did a darn good job washing it.

These guys are great. They have a $20 membership which is worth it Id say. They have a $20 car wash which is the all around wash and it comes with a 3 day guarantee with a recipe. Which is super nice because if the first wash didnt do the job go back its free. They have a $16 wash, and a $8 wash. Not as fancy as the 20 and Im not sure if there is a guarantee but it is a great car wash.Lots of tools to use and also can use vacuums for free to make your car sparkle!

Its a nice place. I just bought a pass today. Seems easy and convenient. They have high powered vacuums. And they have a floor mat wash station. Hope they keep it up. 😁

I love the Pony Express!! I feel like it gets my car really clean and in a way that isn’t harsh to my car. The people are super friendly and helpful. The gentleman today actually saved me money by asking about signing up for a membership. I thought it would be super expensive so I’ve never looked into it, but I’m actually spending MORE money by NOT being a member, so today I joined and now I can go UNLIMITED!! I often want to go more but didn’t want to keep spending $8. But now for just $20 I can go as often as I want and not feel guilty about it. 💙

I signed up for the Unlimited Little Plan. I think this will be a good value. This is my preferred car wash since they opened. I like how they have rags conveniently placed for your use in drying the car and vacuum hoses on either side of the car. I miss my California car washes where workers vacuumed and cleaned the inside of the car but this is as good as it gets in Idaho. I would give credit to the person who signed me up for the Unlimited plan after many have talked to me about it, but I cant read his name on the receipt. Could be Joe or Jake?

Great business, with some amazing customer service. They also have great deals, long with a system that work s very well. Staffing is well knowledgeable on the pricing and what packages offer what to better protector vehicles. Great business I will continue to use this business location!!

This was the 1st time using Pony Express Car Wash and we are very impressed. Our car came out very clean and the vacuums are the best weve ever used. The person that came out to help us was very professional, polite. and had a fun sense of humor.

It may not seem like a big thing but I was very happy with the length of the vacuum hoses. I usually have a hard time getting the back of my van clean at these types of places but not here! Also the wash did a great job at removing hard, stuck on bugs. I will be using them again.

This is my go-to car wash out of the hundreds in Idaho Falls. It always makes my car spotless and if it doesnt, the $20 wash, which I HIGHLY recommend, comes with a 3-day guarantee so you can return and get the car rewashed without paying more! The vacuums work extremely well and there are also towels to dry off any extra water to prevent hard water spots. Most importantly and easily my favorite part is the machine that they have to wash your floor mats which is super easy to use and works amazing.

Hands down the best car wash in Idaho Falls. Subscription is the only way to go. Wash whenever, no hesitation. Rain or snow? IF winds? Just drive through the wash again. Youre good.

I purchased some gift cards and tried to use one to purchase an unlimited pass but the employee told me I couldnt do that and it can only be used for single washes. The back of the card say treat this card as you would cash with no other restrictions, so Im not sure how I would treat it like cash of you refuse to. I dont appreciate the bait and switch and what I feel is blatant false advertising.

Always clean. Have cleans towels for drying and there is always someone there to assist you if there is a problem. Their prices are that of others in town - but it is always a good experience. More businesses need the enthusiasm their employees have. The cleanliness of the lot and equipment that works all the time make it my favorite car wash!

Not impressed with the car wash... Spent $16 on it... The scrubbers didnt even scrub the side of our vehicle, and completely missed the back... I had to scrub the wheels since those where missed as well.... Ill be taking my business elsewhere if I have to re wash my car after having my car washed

I thought they were pretty good car wash at first but now it makes me wonder if Im getting a full wash some days and Ive been noticing a lot of marks on my vehicle after I go through the car wash that the car wash puts on my wifes van

Did pretty good job on our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Pulled into a stall and one side of the vaccumes was missing nossle. Towels provided was nice. Watch out people pull into the wash from the road very quickly. Almost got hit by a lady in a hurry.

Long wash that cleans very well. The brushes even scub the back of the car. They have compressed air for water removal and dusting inside the car as well as a powerful vacuum.

Better than any other car wash we have here in Eastern Idaho IMHO. I havent found another place that provides automatic mat washers and clean towels. If youre willing to do a little labor, you have all the tools and supplies you need to detail your ride as well as any professional detail shop can.

I took my truck through this car wash and paid for their show pony wash (no it was not) and it did not remove the dirt from the steps and fenders. I informed the manager (really), and he had a number of reasons for the failure and had me go through the car wash a second time. Again it did not remove the dirt from the steps or fenders. I informed him again and he offered me a rag to clean it myself. REALLY !!!! Clean it myself after spending $20.00. Im done with this car wash!!!!

Great car wash and reasonable pricing. The only thing I don’t like is that the workers tend to pack the cars too tightly into the wash. I wish they would give a bit more space. I often cannot even see the headlights of the car in back of me when going through and I feel like I’m right on the bumper of the person in front of me. More than once, I felt like I was going to hit the car in front of me -especially at the end with the air blowers because the conveyor stops moving the car and if the driver ahead doesn’t pull away fast enough, there’s gonna be trouble. I would very HIGHLY suggest to the staff to space the cars farther apart as a safety precaution which will cut down on my anxiety going through the wash. 😁

Its a good car wash, but they try to up sale you. I would rather interface with their machines myself to avoid the up sale.

Always been satisfied with the wash afterwords, and theyre complimentary vacuum stations afterwords are well designed with vacuums, trash cans, and air blowers accessible on both sides of your car. First car wash I bought the monthly subscription from because of the great service and quality wash

My truck was not put on the track correctly and so the water and soap as well as the brushes did not start up at each station until I was halfway through each section. I wasn’t told to remove my antenna and so it got bent. I had my window down to give them the paper they had me fill out and so I was sprayed by the chemical the man was putting on my windshield. My bugs didn’t come off even after going through twice. I think a lot of these problems could have been avoided if they didn’t try to rush me through and let me fill out the form afterwards.

I love the unlimited car washes you can buy monthly. Sometimes the wash smells gross but you can just drive through another time if it doesnt seem clean the first time. Most of the time it smells yummy and its always colorful!

It seems like some people have had good experiences here but I certainly didn’t. The wash ripped the mirror cover off my car and left numerous scratches in the paint. I filled out an “incident report” and was told they would and I would receive a call within 1-3 days. Two weeks later, I still haven’t received a call.

The employees here are all friendly and helpful. The car wash is efficient and keeps my little black beauty shiny and pretty. The vacuums are all strong, and most spaces have compressed air guns to get all the water out of the cracks and crevices and behind your car logos. This is especially helpful in the winter spray out all the water in the door tracks to keep the doors from freezing shut.

If no one can use the Key pad by themselves to get there wash why have it, Don’t need help pushing buttons and using my card, will always turn away when there’s someone out there.

I stopped to just have a cheap wash done and the attendant was so cheery and helpful. He offered me the monthly pass and for the cost of two washes I can have unlimited washes every month. WOW! I am so glad I stopped here for my wash. My new favorite car wash in town!

Sarah made excellent sense in explaining the cost savings. The wash rack is well set, as is the interior vacuum with hand towels, all of which combine to make it the best option for drive through truck washes in the area. ($10 less per month than Rapid River, next traffic light up Yellowstone Highway)

Best Car Wash in Idaho Falls by far. Dryers are great! Tire shine is kinda of a joke so don’t upgrade to that. Service team is helpful and attentive.I wish they had a multiple car discount for the monthly subscription, can get a bit expensive.

More like 4.5 stars. Its a good carwash, good and long to get your rig good and clean, not the cheapest but not bad either. It should go without saying that you need to wash off excess mud somewhere else first. The vacuums are great, lots of spaces to park and use them too. Only reason Im not giving a full 5 stars is Id like to be able to spray off floor mats (maybe there is a place there I just dont know about).

Great place for large trucks! It does have a little trouble getting mud off running boards, but I just use the rags after to wipe them down. I do wish there was a spot to hose down molded floor mats

We have taken our Snow Removal Fleet (PlowBoys LLC) to Pony Express regularly for two winters now. Can’t imagine what our trucks would look like without them! The membership is a great value, and we appreciate that we don’t have to jump through hoops to cancel the plan when we no longer need to regularly wash our fleet. Now we have added Lawn Care(Yard Boys LLC), so I doubt we will need to cancel ever again. The employees are always paying attention and are ready to take care of our vehicles how we need it. Just noticed today they have Floor Mat Washing Stations!!

I enjoyed my experience there. You definitely get what you pay for. The premium package is so worth the price. The ceramic seal made the car so shine and the wheel wash was awesome. The water jets were so powerful I truly felt it was really really clean. There are microfiber hand towels that you can use after your car is washed. During the wintertime, they keep the microfiber hand towels in the office. They also have air guns to quickly dry off areas like tires. They also have this cool contraption that washes and dries your floor mats. The mat washer and dryer even does the the carpet style mats. I met the owner and he was friendly and very personable. I would highly recommend coming here since they know how to take care of cars. I am going to purchase a package that continues to keeps my car so clean.

Wow! The wash is good as I got to sit inside the car while it went through. The free vacuum is worth the wash price. It has adequate suction so it actually picks up the gunk. I just wish there was one closer to where I live.

By far the best car wash in Idaho Falls!! My pickup came out spotless unlike the others.The attendant on duty was very helpful and she was also super polite!! That is why I bought the monthly unlimited package there.

Went through to clean my truck. I was out vacuuming my truck and noticed the center of my truck was still dirty. I went and talked to one of the employees about it. He came over to my truck and was very apologetic. He told me to drive back through and they would give me another wash free just to make sure it was washed correctly. Super pleased with there customer service.

Team was great in helping me pick out the right car wash. I had to run through a second time because of the bug field I ran through on my trip but they warranty their washes and will make sure you’re happy.

I’ve visited automated car washes at nearly all the locations around town, but this one is the best. The vacuums really work great, getting crud that home & other commercial vacs left behind. The free mat cleaner is amazing, even in the dead of winter. The compressed air is great for blowing out dust inside the car, or the the water that lingers in door handles or window seals on the outside. The microfiber towels are great for drying what little remains on my car after the wash.It’s worth the money and/or the drive. My car comes out cleaner and drier than any other wash, which means less effort in keeping it that way. No sense in paying money anywhere else for you to do the work the wash does by itself here.
