Price to high. 3$ for 1.5 minutes. Continuous feeding the meter. Too long for selection change to initiate. Update: I fed $6 in the machine and barely got 3 minutes. The timer was way to fast. I certainly will skip when in town next time.
Terrible, just terrible. My truck wasnt even real dirty. If you like wasting your time and money, go here. Used the brush, didnt even take the dirt off. Its like their soap isnt soap. Plus, had to wait 3 minutes just for the soap to come out. Same with the sprayer. Worst ever.
3 minutes for $3. There is no alarm to notify you that time is running out. The grace period of 15 seconds to add extra quarters was not honored. I dont have another $3 to restart the wash for the third time so, I guess Im leaving with a soapy car. 👎🏼To respond to the below, the beeper must have not been working. I used the self wash bay to the right of the automatic bay.
Decent car wash. The shampoo for the carpets that is setup with the vacuum did not work, but otherwise it was good
Here you get 12 minutes. Older but very efficient. Always clean and alot of vaccums
Great car wash. If any fails to work just call the number they will reimburse you and make it right. Truly a place that values their customers. The last time I went they were out of dry drying towels. But this happened like 1 in maybe 100 washes. I always pack a towel anyways just in case.
Quick in and out plus they have towels to dry your car
Good vacuums and good prices. Wash pressure was great when I was there.
Did the complete auto wash, have it a 3 because didnt recieve vacuum token....
Vacuum does not give you enough time for the money and got a nail in my tire when washing my car.
They used to be a nice car wash but it seems like theyre a little bit greedy anyway its declined considerably over the years nothing great about that place Id go somewhere else to wash your car and wow super high dollar for what they provide in the services that you get ya dont stop.
While I recommend the car wash, I do not recommend washing in the winter LOL good place, takes cards since I forget cash. Nice and open to maneuver trucks around in. Overall good spot to wash those inconvenient vehicles that wont fit in an automatic wash!
Clean with large bays. The price was fair.
Need to know that if you use a credit card you will be charged 10 dollars even though 3.00 is shown on price last. Go with cash dollar bills and quarters to use vacuum
Excellent car wash that is always consistent! Drove up today and they had free The Works car washes for veterans. Super awesome to offer that and support local vets. Every wash I have ever purchased gave me a token to use on the vacuum cleaners in the parking lot. Its the car wash I stop at when I come into town.
My vehicles never get clean here. Always soap scum left. When will I learn
I used cash to soap and wash the car, then ran out of cash but had to rinse it off so used a card. I used it for about three minutes and Soapys charged me 15.00 for those three minutes. DON’T USE A CARD THEY WILL CHEAT YOU!!
Extremely disappointed in this car wash. I had my toddler who has sensory issues, so I usually go to an automatic car wash but she can’t handle them. Decided to try the do it yourself at Soapy’s on Broadway. Worst almost $15 dollar wash ever. The hose took half it’s time adjusting to the soap setting when it should have been on rinse and vice versa (rain-x too). The brush left scratches ALL over my car. And the machine turned off half way through the rinse (and I was hustling with a toddler in the car too.) I had to restart it all again. Then the “two towels per car” were a joke. They absorb nothing. It took me 5 towels and I finally just gave up. I have water spots all over my car.I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel very ripped off.-also, seeing the rude/defensive responses to every negative review on here speaks volumes. Asking people to apologize for their negative experience is extremely unprofessional.
Works great everytime
This place is proof you shouldnt judge a book by its cover. For 10.00 you can get their best wash and its pretty darn good. No brushes to scratch your paint, no one else touching your ride all hands free, love it. I was a little hesitant to try it out because the building is a bit run down but, I am for the first time happy to be proven wrong. 5 stars for being a great place to wash your ride at a more than fair price :). Thanks :)
Decent water pressure..room for trailers.. Automatic wash is kinda lame
I have been coming here twice per year to clean my truck camper and boat for the past 7 years. Today there was no soap in the pressure washer and no wax in the wax. At $3 per selection whomever owns this RIP off should find some one to fill up the reservoirs. I know that coin OP business very well.RESPONSE TO OWNER: Your sarcasm aside, if you were there at 7 AM you would have recognized the need to clean the trash cans, and bays. In addition, your dependence on sensors to inform you there is no soap should never be a substitute for actually inspecting the containers yourself. I can attest to the fact that there was no soap from the pressure sprayer nor was there wax. I was once a loyal customer. Customers be ware.
Too short of cycles for the money. Literally the shortest time for the money I have ever used. Will not go back. Will leave my vehicle dirty before I went back. There is a place that I use where I live that is almost as short a time. The difference is you get free vacuums and compressed air after making it an even wash, bottom line. Also has an attendant on site if there is an issue. The local one is also super clean and much better maintained.
$3.00 for a cash wash is BAD. I travel a LOT. The average cost is $2.00. Plus, the vacuum I used did NOT have very good suction. It worked, but that;s it. You need to clean, pickup, the garbage at the back next to the vacuums. Not impressed at all.
Its pretty much a rip off these days. When you call about the machines ripping you off you never get a call back. Dont use the dollar bill system you wont get the same amount of time.
I went there about a week ago used the auto wash paid 10 dollars for the top of the line wash. Well all i know is i could have done a better job with a straw. It did not go through every thing shown, only half of the truck was waxed the dirt was still every where so do your self a favor and go somewhere else or do it by hand you will have better luck
Doesnt always get the car sparkling, but decently priced and the vacuums are great!
I am on the road from Tampa, FL. Over the years I have used a LOT of coin car washes, in many states. I also read this Idaho Falls West Broadway St. car wash Google feedbacks. 1> $3.00 is high no matter what they offer. There is no such thing as FREE. The so-called FREE towel, is included in any cost you pay. Trust me! 2> Like coin laundry’s, coin car washes allow the owner(s) to skim money off the business! Tax free. From hand-to-pocket! 3> This car wash says they have been in business for 25 years. That is probably true. But they also have been making a lot of money over the years. Especially from cash hand-to-pocket. 4> I used this car wash on Sunday June 09, 2019. I have been using Dollar Tree spray tire cleaner for years. It works very well for $1.00. I just got finished spraying all 4 tires and a guy (employee) said, SIR, YOU CAN NOT USE OUTSIDE PRODUCTS IN OUR CAR WASH! In all of my 76 years I have NEVER heard of such a policy? Inside or outside they all work the same. The only thing I said was how about cleaning the TRUCK MUD out of the bay! I finished washing my van. I waited a few hours to contemplate how to respond. #1 is to post this feedback on Google. #2- I may decide to file a complaint with either, or both, of these 2 agencies: (a) - Better Business Bureau; (b) - Chamber of Commerce. NOTE: this may be a fruitless idea because of the large LDS community in this area. By the way, you gas prices in this state are HIGH. Roughly $1.00 per gallon, or more! For the record, I used to be an Automotive Patent Attorney for General Motors for 20 years. I am NOT your average consumer!
Love this car wash!! Me and my husband will not take our cars anywhere else!! Their brushes don’t scratch your car! There is always enough soap on the brush! Water always works! Drive through car wash does an amazing job! Vacuums run for a extended period of time. Free rags to dry with!! Couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend.
Went to the Soapys on Sunnyside and Rolandet. First of all my apologies. We just moved here and where we came from we could bucket wash at the car wash. I found out today that is not the case at Soapys. So I profusely apologize for doing a bucket wash. After it was brought to my attention I saw the sign in the bay. So I was 100% wrong. My apologies. Now on to the guy that chased me out. Was fairly hot tempered. Wouldnt even talk to me other than get your car out of here. Can I rinse it off.....GET OUT OF HERE! So now Im home trying to rinse the car off. Once again, my fault 100%, but I was not aware of this policy. Im sorry. Yes I will get out of here and never come back. A bit of an over-reaction from whoever it was that was managing the car wash on 2/1/2020.
Get to select any phase of wash anytime. Vacuum cleaners are bruisers! Chemicals dont run out. Easy pay. Self wash or machine. No wait.
24-7 is so convenient.
Steep price for a doit yourself wash... my hell
Undercarriage wash is great for rinsing salt off the under side of vehicles
I used a wash bay to thoroughly remove the road debris from the undercarriage of my SUV. I then used the automated wash, paying for the middle priced wash. When finished, I did spend a bit of time with hand towels to remove a few left over smudges and to eliminate the large amount of water left over after the air dryer. The air dryer should be just a bit longer for the price customers pay. Smaller cars may see good results but larger vehicles could use either 10-15 seconds longer or perhaps a better aim of the airflow(??). I then used the vacuum. I paid for 1 cycle and did not make it past front row seating. Short time provided for the higher price over competitors. Next time I will use my regular place (in Shelley where the vacuum is powerful and free, and also having free AIR. Lets hope for better and more competitive pricing, but I do not disregard that the service station is exceptionally great at this convenient location!
You get a pretty good car wash for a decent price and vacuums work well
I went to this establishment to obtain quarters on the 12th of May. I put in 40 dollars and found out while driving away I was short 11.50. I decided to talk to the manager about this so we may be able to fix this issue. I called the owner of Soapys and he told me how not using the quarters in his establishment would hurt the business, with that being said he would give me the ungiven change in tokens. I asked him where may I be able to find this rule, and he brushed the question aside and told me to take it or leave, so I declined the offer.I guess he wanted my 11.50 that badly.
Best wash around. I hit there every time Im in Idaho Falls. No place get my car looking better. I use the self wash.
This is actually the car wash I always go to because its inexpensive and somewhat in my neighborhood up on John Adams by Smiths.
Complete waste of your time. Automatic wash hasnt worked 2 out of the last 3 times Ive gone - effectively wasting $20 of mine. Terrible management. You would get a better wash pissing on your car, and youd save money doing so.Been going here for 15+ years, and I wont be going back.
The last 2 times I have went through has left like a soapy film on my car I am not happy I had to scrub my car by hand to try to get it off
Seems like every time I go to Soapy s to wash or vacuum something isnt working. First time I went the coin dispenser wouldnt work and ripped me off $5. 2nd time the spray yourself washer didnt have soap. 3rd time I tried the drive through, machine only did half a wash and then stopped. Called the assistant waited 10 minutes got a free wash and a token for another wash. 4th time tried to use my token for a free wash, machine wouldnt except it. Tried to use a vacuum and no suction. Just really frustrated at this point with trying to get the machines to work, cant even use my free wash token. If you are going be prepared to call the assistant and wait 10 or 15 minutes for him to fix it every time. :(
Very poor experience, I about had my car washed before the water was warm not hot with soap! My car was not clean afterwards still bugs and road debree even after scrubbing.... my card was maxed out at $10.00 and it wouldnt run it again had to use a different card to rinse and the rinse water was cold. All together spent $15.00 on 2 different cards and my car is not clean... Very disappointing!
This and the one on Anderson are our favorite two carwashes. My husband wont go anywhere else!! Weve been going here for years and years. We own 9 vehicles so we use the carwash ALOT.
Great place! Love the free vacs and free drying towels. Nobody, anywhere, except here, has free drying towels
This car wash I nothing special. It is 100% user run and automated. The bays are typical in size and options as todays modern, do-it-yourself car wash is concerned. There are vacuums, vending machines, and dry off areas.
This is the only place I will get my car washed!! Keep money local!
50/50 shot of the equipment working correctly. When it does work it does a great job.
Been going for years. Always reliable and free towels to dry your ride
$3.00 to start. Wow, I am not use to that much. However, every thing works well and the place is well maintained.
Im giving this one star. So after i called and told them the i waited 2 minutes for the foam to come out all i got was well its probably frozen so....? ok well i spent money to wash my car and i didnt get what i paid for. If im gonna give away money i can at least give to charity. Not crappy wash. Never going there again.
Good touchless car wash. $10
I dont know why I keep giving this place another chance its terrible. First off do not I repeat do not use a card if you are washing your own car, it will charge you the maximum charge no matter what you do. Next dont plan on an awesome wash. Most people that come here are just spraying mud off their trucks this means piles of mud for you to drive and walk in and drive through.
Expensive for what you get time wise
Not enough water pressure
Very convenient for me, quick and easy. Free vacuum token with the wash.
No soap. $6 to get soap on and rinse. Its not even close to clean and obviously not ever cleaned. I will drive to the other side of town to avoid this 💎.
Back in the early 2000s, these types of car washes were a gold standard. Not so much anymore but they have certainly tried to update their car wash so good on them.
There is no price list.I used rinse for only 4 mins and it cost me 10 dollars??way to expensive...
My vehicle always looks better
Great place to wash and vacuum car
Awesome place, everything worked great, and plenty of chemicals from all functuons
Great location
Its nice well maintained plus my lifted truck fits in auto wash bay !!!!!!
Great wash! Great price!
Conveinate to wash my car at
Bad wash $12 dollars???
It has $1 per 4 minutes vacuuming
Change got Stuck, owner seemed irritated at me cause his machine screwed up, and no it was machines fault dropped coins very slowly
Went to pay with a card in a bay and it kept saying retry or system busy try later and wouldnt let me wash my truck, next day looked at my bank account and was charged $10
Goood wash at a good price
Eh. The auto wash didnt get all the dirt off.
Good car wash
A little old and run-down, but my car came out clean.
Cleans csrs good
Old and Broadways is always broken and 1 star says it all.
I visit there once a week
Vacuum was worthless out front.
Great spot....
Good car wash
$1 a minute is just ridiculous.
3.00 to start but ok clean
Not enough time for the money you spend
Hey youre getting your moneys worth
Everything works
Convenient and clean
I like this one.
It was good
