My daughter turned out fine. Mine was a mess that peeled up in less than 24hrs. If I knew how to upload a picture I would. If I live anywhere near the shop I would have returned but I was passing through for a party. I had to keep my hands balded up

Went in this past weekend for me and my daughter to get pedicures. I paid $50 for the gel pedi and did not get the full experience. Foot rasp was NOT used and the back of my heels are rough still! They filed my feet and that was it (Literally). The entire service was rushed and the tech was rough on my toes. I had to also ask her to redo my big toe because it was bubbles in the polish from her RUSHING. I thought maybe this salon would be better but I feel like I was robbed. I’ll never go back to this salon again I promise you. Stick to what I know. I’ve paid cheaper and have had some of the best pedicures by the way. The services do not match the prices. I wanted to complain but left it alone solely because I wanted to get out of there, I was not impressed. The salon is simply a look and that’s why they charge the prices the do. Poor quality of techs.

Honoring your coupons is a major thing for me! Yes I understand were in a pandemic, but as a business owner myself I would honor a coupon to a first time customer and not tell them due to the pandemic we are not honoring our $42.00 nail special. I spoke about the coupon before service, when it was time to pay you quickly say oh we cant honor the coupon. 101 small business sence, that was a poor reason, And instead of killing me with full price honor the coupon and let people know you have special to get them in. Okay experience, I might go back due to convenience.

Absolutely love how well they treat their customers and how they accommodate to your schedule. I love how the overlay on my natural nails turned out. Once its time to redo Ill be sure to go back.

Rude unprofessional over priced

Loved this place! From the neatness to the customer service. I didnt catch my nail techs who did my pedicure but he was very nice. Also very gentle especially after noticing the burn on my foot (its healed, it happened a few months ago) which was appreciated. I plan to go here again and I cant say that about many nail shops Ive been to over the years.

BEWARE...This nail salon has one of the most greedy and inexperienced person working here. The person who did my feet did NOT do a good job because my toe nail polish began to chip off within a couple of days. Mind you, my two sisters got a pedicure at this salon the same day that I did mine and their nail polish still looks good. To make matters worst, I told the man who did my pedicure that I wanted an arylic manicure; instead, he performed a basic manicure and acted surprised when I said I wanted acrylic. Even more outrageous, he charged me for the basic manicure ($15) and for the acrylic fullset manicure ($27). Therefore, I ended up paying $62 dollars, including my pedicure. When I first entered the salon, I even told the receptionist that I wanted a pedicure and acrylic manicure, so I know I was not the one mistaken... SMH. The customer should not have to pay for the employees mistake.The man didnt even do a good job on my nails either! Look at the picture...The nails are big, cracking and has bubbles. I will NOT coming back here again and I will warn my friends about this place too.

Because of covid they are social distancing and you have to schedule an appointment. I was able to get a same day appointment which was great. My nails and lashes look great. They did raise the prices but well worth it.

It was an hour before closing so the nail tech was rushing to do my pedi.

I went here a little over a week ago and had the dipped powder manicure done. Its a no frills mani-no extra massage or anything. A little lotion at the end. My tech did a good job on the actual application though. Fast forward a week and the color was lifting. Yesterday two of my finger nails lifted and the powder ripped off. Its supposed to last 3 weeks. Went today to have them fixed and I sat there for 35 min to get two nails fixed and finally just left because I was tired of waiting. I wasnt the only one who left due to the wait. Theyre understaffed but they just dont seem to care that they are. I will not be back.

Don’t go here. They overcharged for the service and also overcharged my card, I have to call my bank and report fraud. I don’t like the nails and I can’t get through to call to complain. Poor service and very suspicious employees. Don’t waste your time or money!

To be honest this was my first time as a customer there at the Nail Tiki salon. The owner’s of the business is very nice and welcoming. The people that they hire, the person who helped me it seems, like he was rushed to clock out and the fact that he left a nail that was over due of nail polish (color) did not do anything about it to re-do it, just leave it like it is.The owner’s needs to be aware of who they going to hire and how they do their job. Unfortunately my first impression of the store wasn’t great at all. The policy of paying half way of the process of doing the nails is so off guard and can be offensive, but that’s my opinion. Which i understand on why they would do that.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Zero stars. For the second time, I came in well before the advertised closing time and was asked to come back. This time, I had to get at the least one nail fixed because it was broken under the acrylic, very painful, and I had events the next day and I needed to look professional. After waiting for quite some time because they let most of their techs leave, I was called over just to get my nail fixed. The guy servicing me was quite rough even though I said my nail was broken and painful, and he simply clipped off the lifting acrylic and slapped some glue underneath that burned. Then, I was trying to find a color that would match the color I already had since they didn’t complete a full fill-in. I was rushed and rudely spoken to without him offering any assistance, because he had his coat on and was eager to leave. I was a new customer who just moved back in town and was looking for a salon to get my nails done regularly. Needless to say, I will never be back and I am taking my family’s business with me. I’m also usually one to refer customers to places I frequent and will not be sending anyone here.

I went there about 6:50pm for a pedicure. Closing time is 8pm. I waited until the lady got to me at 7:35pm. She was done with me 25 minutes later. I felt as though she rushed. I kept pointing imperfections on the job she did. Maybe if you go there youll have a different experience. Im disappointed.

Very unprofessional Facility & poor customer service. Staff members Didn’t even acknowledge me or greet me when I came in waited over 15 minutes for assistance. Then one of the worker came over to speak with me but had a attitude for what ever reason. Staff member seemed very bothered by me asking questions. Pedicure was great. Highly Recommend ! Manicure was not as good. Left with hangnails. I didnt want clear polish and they wanted to charge me an extra $5 just for a buff. I will try again wasnt a bad place. Wish they used plastic bags inside pedicure bowls though.

Very nice staff and they are quick. However, I was disappointed because the gel polish started peeling two days after I had my nails done which I havent had happen before. Even though they are nice and reasonably priced, I wont be back. I need my polish to last longer than two days.

I had an awful experience here. It was my first time and the workers were extremely rude. I wasn’t shown a menu for the types of services or offered anything to drink. The only reason why I know they offer drinks is because they offered to the lady sitting beside me one. During my pedicure- I asked for white polish and the lady who was doing my nails couldn’t paint my toes. So one of her coworkers took over. The same coworker who took over started my fill-in and stopped once her appointment arrived. I got another nail tech maybe 10 minutes after. I had a broke nail and that acted if they didn’t know how to repair it. There was miscommunication on me having my nails cut down and the nail tech became frustrated and yelled at me. Once the communication ended between him and I -he rushed thru the service and when he was done he stormed to the back. I won’t be going back here and I hope the manager Kenny helps get his staff customer service up to par.

This place is amazing. Ive been living in Hyattsville for some months and I could never find a good salon until now. The salon is clean and stylish, with great products. And Kenny is amazing! Hes great at nails, and is such a nice guy. You can tell he knows what hes doing, especially with 17 years of experience under his belt. Ive found a new nail salon home and Im excited to see it improve over time since it just recently opened.

It was over all ok. The water didnt stay hot so they had to keep pouring hot water from a kettle into the tubs. The prices I paid was for a spa experience, $70 for a milk and honey pedicure and eye brow wax. The towels they wrap around your legs get cold so fast. For this kind of price....they need to get better ways of performing their services. The guy I had, dont know his name was a little rough. Hurt me a couple of times. I drove there from Baltimore. They were I must say very professional, courteous and clean!!! They also gave me a shot of wine in a wine glass. That was a nice unexpected complimentary thing to do.I probably wouldnt go back, but no regrets on giving them a shot.

The new owner, Kenny, just opened the nail salon and he isnt just the owner he is also one of the nail technicians. He is so friendly, he does such an amazing job and I love having him do my nails. Hes been doing my nails for over a year now and I have never let anyone else touch them. His prices are always reasonable. Im from the Waldorf area but the drive to come see him do my nails is totally worth it!

Worst place ever ! I did ombre nails two days later they were braking apart after paying $85.I went back there and they asked me to pay for replacement three days later 4 were broken and I have to take it off and the injury lasted over a month. Beware this is not the first time I also had a bid disappointment with them on my birthday with pedicure.

Okay but I wouldnt really recommend. I got a pedicure and gel manicure here and I would not come back. The guy doing my pedicure kept giving me uneven lines on my French tip pedicure and after his 3rd attempt he gave up on trying to even them out. He was visibly annoyed when I kept telling him that the lines were not even and needed to be corrected. After the 3rd attempt he said he was going to come back to it and never did. The pedicure felt rushed and was not completed to my satisfaction. The gel manicure looked great and lasted a long time but the women who did my nails criticized me and made shady comments the entire time. It was windy and she said she was surprised that I did not blow away in the wind since I was all skin and bones. I said I wanted to get pink glitter polish for my manicure and she said really? Pink glitter? Thats a color my 3 yr old would pick out. After she started on my manicure she proceeded to make comments about how small I was and how small my wrists were. I came here because I decided to treat myself at the last minute and it was close by, I would not return or reccomend.

It really depends on who you get. My cuticles were attacked last night. I had two nails bleeding the nail tech(a guy) just said oh. No apology or concern. But Ive gone other times and had a much better experience.

Kenny, the new owner, has been doing my nails for years. He is friendly, professional and does great work! The salon is nice and clean and there are so many nail polish colors to choose from. Prices are reasonable too.

Poor mani and pedi..fathoms below subpar. Nails were painted poorly. Toenails were different color than fingernails..services were sped thru with no real attention to detail. This place is attached to my apartment complex and I will not be returning no matter how convenient it may be.

I went to Nail Tiki because of the great reviews on Yelp, but I was very disappointed by my experience. I came in to get a pedicure and a fill in and my friend joined me to get a pedicure and full set. My friend walked out an hour and a half before me and somehow it took the nail tech over two hours to complete my FILL IN. I wouldve been okay with someone taking the this kind of time on my nails had it been good work, but my nails were mediocre at best. The shape of my nails that were repaired do not even match the rest. By the time my nails were finished, I had spent three hours in the place, I was already running late for a prior obligation, and couldnt wait to get out of the place. Total disregard for customers time and for not so great work.

I love it, lina is really good. She didnt have to go back and buff /file a lot cuz it was already layed the foundation out good . She didnt cut my cuticles or jab up my cuticles with the drill, even when she did it fast. I will be going there . Its very stylist inside and the people are nice, they not running their mouth talking and looking around while doing your nails. She held a decent conversation with me and tip her $10. I pay $60 for ombré

Their service was ridiculously slow and my nails chipped in less than a week. I wanted a dip Mani and a regular pedicure. After 3 hours the only service performed was my nails and eyebrow wax.

The only nail salon I’ve ever been to that doesn’t open on time. It’s Tuesday morning, 15 mins after when they were supposed to open and I don’t even see people moving around in there to attempt to open.

The people were very professional and took pride in doing great work.

Customer service is lacking and I gave it chance before writing this negative review. I live in the area and don’t plan on going back unless I’m in a huge bind. It’s such a shame the place had potential.
