I’m not sure if his name was Denny (they sit at other desks sometimes) but this young man dipped my nails and I mentioned to him that it wasn’t the best looking. After further review, he sat with me until about 3:30 (got there around 12/1) and made sure I was satisfied. I could sense he was getting frustrated (not at me, at the dip powder) yet he kept on. Thank you Denny! (Or not Denny, I’m so sad I didn’t get his name) I appreciate you 😄 Check them out! Great customer service!

Trust me Im usually picky when it comes to my nails but this place charmed me with their excellent customer service & attention to details. I Love my nails done by Ken! I was offered a free drink before starting & all my expectations were met. The whole team was welcoming.Ken took all his time and was gentle. I will be back for sure! Thanks

I usually get a gel manicure at this nail salon. Usually I come and I have an appointment. This time I did not.I am a black 28 y/o male. I waited 35 mins just for a white woman to come in with no appointment(she said she wanted to know if they had time to soak off her gel nails and and do a bee manicure before closing and she apologized for not having an appointment) just to be immediately sat down and started.I am very offended and disappointed in this establishment. I will take my patronage elsewhere

I waited for 45 minutes even though I had an appointment. My nail tech started doing someone else’s nails instead of mine and they kept saying it would be quick and she only needed 10 min with the other customer. When I asked at the end how much longer because I had somewhere else to be soon, one of the techs started getting mad at me and raised his voice for asking. Not professional at all because I would’ve preferred them telling me when I called that they couldn’t or when I got there that they were too busy. Just don’t waste my time and then get mad at ME!

They are very courteous and they take their time my sister and I enjoyed it so much we will be back every two weeks

It was cool. I paid $65 for gel full set with design. The place isnt the cleanest and I wouldve liked more attention to detail but this is the best nail salon Ive been to in this area and the only one I would pay over $30 to except nail tiki. I loved the color selection, I loved the customer service. And of course I forgot my tech, but she was very friendly and willing to fix whatever I pointed out.Update:So I just went with my mom yesterday. It was ok. We werent greeted, sorta grunted at. I arrived before my mom and let them know she was coming. They still started her way before me, I was sitting so long the water got cool. My technician was a man who seemed like he didnt want to be there. He talked with my moms technician about where I was on the sign up (who wasnt the most friendly, but she was the bomb, she did everything and WELL) and then started me. I did not receive the included massage in the $45 milk and honey pedicure, shouldve just gotten spa. His work was good so no complaint there but no customer service at ALL and he couldve buffed my feet a minute longer. My regular Mani ($18)felt rushed and he didnt even lotion my hands. I tip everyone, but not yesterday. I was going to get my eyelashes done, but I just went on to nail Trix. Google wont let me add pics but mine is the one with blue toes and clear polish on hands in the photo section.

Worst salon Ive ever been to. Bad customer service, terrible pedicure. I had to come back because my paint started chipping the next day. They did want to redo my pedicure I basically had to argue w the man to get a new paint job. A week after my pedi my feet strted peeling like crazy. Idk if they have dirty water or old products but I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Customer service was blah... my eyebrows look amazing but my nails are not what I expected... I asked for skinny square (marrow) nails. Instead they look bulky and not as neat as I would have liked. I’ll be going somewhere else to have them reshaped and repainted..

Great nail salon! They aim to please here and I really like that they take appointments. The prices are also pretty reasonable and the facility is trendy. The owner, Justin, is my favorite nail tech. Picture attached are my Christmas nails done by Justin. I didnt tell him anything except I wanted something Christmas-ie and he did his thing.

Tried this place for the first time today and had an amazingly pleasant experience!! I so appreciated Kevin’s attention to detail and gentleness. My hands are super small and it’s easy to not realize that and unintentionally hurt them but Kevin was very gentle. Super satisfied with both my experience and nails. I also got my eyebrows cleaned up which I’m pleased with as well. Totally recommend PG Nails & Spa!

They told me my regular technician wasnt not working so I asked for another person. But when I got to the salon I was shocked to discover my regular tech was working!! She was shocked also!! Today I called several times for an appointment and there was no vm to leave a message -- just a hang-up!!😟

This place is unfortunately a joke. They try and rip you off in pricing and they will try and charge you extra for there faults. They hire all types of techs, only a few who do a good job. Be careful, not all of them have the same craft. The customer service is terrible and they all talk trash in there language.

This is my first pedicure since COVID-19. I had an appointment for myself 5year old daughter. The place looked full to capacity, and they refused to let me sit or stand near my child while a grown man performed her pedicure. When accepting appointments for minors the salon should make provisions for the parent who’s accompanying them.

This place was nice for my first try. My nail tech did a good job on my hands and feet. I didnt bother getting her name because I was in town temporarily. They offer you wine or other refreshments. Staff was friendly and it was clean. I paid a total of $75 for a gel fill-in and $35 gel pedi, it was worth it to me. My feet were so soft after and they felt so good in my boos hands lol. I would definitely recommend. I would go in early as it began to get crowded as I was leaving. My sister got the same as I and her nail tech did a great job two.

I Use to enjoy coming here, but as a today I won’t be returning with them... when I came In today to get me nails done, along with my sister they were a little busy. As we waited patiently to be called, It was my turn at last. ONE THING I DID NOT LIKE was the fact that I got my natural nails done with the powder, and the “nail technician” didn’t even do them RIGHT!!! I feel like $27 went to waste at this place! My sister and I felt like the lady didn’t even want to do our nails. I’m guessing because it was only $27!!! If your not willing to put effort in your work, why even work there!! I’m sure there are better nail technicians who can do better! I don’t recommend this place at all!

I love PG Nails. Ming (one of the owners) and Kevin do my nails. Theyre very friendly and always achieve what I ask for. My stones and designs stay in place every time! I feel the prices are fair due to the work they put into making sure they services are e excellent, the classy quiet environment and they serve FREE DRINKS (WINE, SODA, WATER)! Justin the owner is always kind and welcoming and does nice natural lashes the last me weeks! Nothing bad to about say about this location

Great atmosphere! Smooth jazz! They take their time on your nails and I love the check in. Write your name on the list and wait for your technician. It was packed! That’s a good thing, it shows the business is successful. Bela took her time and finish it to perfection! It was my first time here and I hope they keep up the excellent service they provide. Ladies, if you are planning your spa day before your vacation this isn’t the place to go.After making an appointment 2 weeks in advance during a COVID, I come in on tome and I’m being forced to wait outside because they double booked. It’s is highly inconsiderate to not at least call and make people aware, especially since an appointment was needed!No apology or anything.Let’s be clear, they don’t care and this is the second time this has happened to me. Never again!

Just had another AMAZING pedicure! Bella has now become my permanent nail tech! She was the first person to do my fill in with Gel polish and first EVER I have gone two weeks without breaking a nail (and I’m pretty rough) This is also the first time EVER someone has done my pedicure and it did not tickle or hurt! She was so sensitive with my cuticles and all I can say is WOW!!!! I will forever be coming back to this salon!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My nail tech seemed oblivious to nail shapes and designs. I had to walk her through the entire process to have my nails NOT turn out the way I wanted. They serve drinks (which is a plus), but my nail tech did NOT ask if I wanted anything to drink during my entire service. She dipped my jacket sleeve in wax. When I pointed it out, said nothing.I asked to speak to the manager after my service and stated my concerns, then proceeded to ask for discount since I was so displeased. He refused to offer anything off. I showed him my damaged jacket and he still refused to give a discount. I ended up having to pay $45 for crooked nails, glue still stuck on my fingers, damaged jacket sleeve, etc.This is my third time at this location, and I will not be returning! I would NOT recommend.

Lucky did a great job on my gel manicure today. She was meticulous getting the edges of the polish just right. I liked how she kept perfecting it. Would have preferred a longer hand/arm massage at the end, but was also happily surprised that a paraffin wax dip was included. I’ll be back.

Absolutely horrible. I spent $120 for a gel pedicure and gel-full set. The man that did my nails RUSHED the entire process. All my nails were different shapes and sizes and the edges were dull when I wanted a square shape. I had to ask him several time to correct my nails and EACH time he tended to argue with me an make me feel uncomfortable as if I was wrong with what I was looking at. My cuticles were not flushed, they were bulky and bulbous. They started lifting on the second day and I was so embarrassed that I just took them off. The pedicure was nice but its clear that this is a money hungry establishment that does not value the service they give they only seem to care about how many tables they can turn as fast as possible. No real nail technicians here. $120 Gone to waste

Made a same day appointment. No problem. My technician was patient & didnt rush the men sport pedi at all. Excellent service with wine & oranges. Felt like I was on vacation. Highly recommend.

Be aware they have great nails technicians but it depends who you get it or who is available. If you go and find one that you like make sure to stick with. I have gone there many times but in the last two times was an awful experience. My manicure appointment was to remove my acrylics and installed a new set. He couldn’t take them off so he put my hands on pure acetone and once it started melting it. Him proceed to use electric files. Acrylics nails flew everywhere and he still not able to take it at all. I asked him to stop once he removed the last one.He then offered me a new “acrylic” which was a powder nail polish when I asked him to explain to me how come?. He just said “ very strong”. In the process he cut and mess up my nails. I went with healthy nails left with short and mess up powder nail polish.

Kim did an excellent job waxing my eyebrows! I am very particular with my brows because I like to keep them full & my arches are different. I am thoroughly satisfied and will be returning. AND it was only $10.

I just left and had an awful experience. I didnt like how my nails turned out, they are so messy. The nail technician didn’t even do my cuticles and I have glue around my nails. I came back in to have her fix some of the paint on them and she said it was my fault tat it was messed up. For $55 my nails should look exactly how I want them and I shouldnt have to feel uncomfortable asking to get them fixed. Completely overpriced for the below average service.

This is the BEST nail spa around the Hyattsville / College Park area. Mia is an AMAZING & QUICK nail technician. She did exactly what I wanted, PLUS MORE! And their price are not bad at all! Their service all around is amazing.

Been twice so far and will most likely continue to go back. Walked in on a Sunday evening for a set of ombré nails and pedicure and was seated immediately. I had Mia. She was nice, took her time, and was very precise. After trying diff nail spots for a year & being disappointed in the outcome each time, I’ve finally found someone whose skill/ability matches my previous nail tech (who became too booked for appts not made 2 weeks ahead). The only reason the 5th star wasn’t given was because of the price. I paid $45 for a gel pedicure when I’m used to paying $35 most places. For my nails, I’d say it was more reasonable. I paid $70 my first visit for ombré pink/white & 2 clear tips w glitter in the acrylic. My fill-in was $65 as I added two more stone designs. Overall, for the convenience of knowing I can make a same day appt and receive high quality nails, I’ll spend the extra.

Called and made an appointment, got there in 15 minutes and was serviced right away. Ming is AMAZING! Pedicure was great! She was meticulous with my nails as well (did SNS). I think I’ve finally found my permanent nail tech.

I went to this shop and told them I wanted a gel manicure. Seems simple enough right? They passed me the basket with all of the gel colors and had me pick a color. The menu said Gel Polish on Manicure for $25, which I thought was a reasonable price for a gel manicure. My nail tech did an okay job and I planned to tip him. When I went to pay, he took my money and told me that the total was $35. He got another nail tech involved who continuously repeated herself by telling me that I got a different gel that increased the price. The nail tech that did my nails refused to give me my correct change back and held my money in his pocket. This shop falsely advertises services and prices and DOES NOT care about customer satisfaction. I walked out highly upset and they did not care to solve the issue. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.

I went on a whim since I was in the area. The people are nice but wasnt thrilled with how my nails looked they are too thick and not very smooth. I feel she was trying to hurry since I had been waiting for about 30 mins. I wasnt rushing her so I wish she would have taken her time. Not sure if I will go back.

I went in today to check it out because the atmosphere looked inviting and relaxing.Friendly staff members, I was offered white wine to sip - which was tasty- while being pampered in the Champagne & Rose pedi selection. It concluded with a simple shoulder rub.Money well spent!

Ming does an amazing SnS nails. Im very particular about my nails... Specifically keeping them thin and long coffin shaped with sharp edges and shes the only person within a 15 minute radius who consistently gives me the shape and feel I desire!

I love my nail tech. I have been going here for about two years now. My only complaints is that they are sometimes overbooked and will make you wait a long time even when you have an appointment.

The shop was clean and the staff was polite. It was a little expensive in my opinion but the girl who did my nails did a good job. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she replicated it almost perfect.

They were not friendly at all and my nails were ugly and lacked shape and was soooo bumpy. The nail polish coats were so thin, uneven, and streaky you could see themThe nails i did were $50 for regular pink polish and one with gold glitter on each finger. A total rip off if you ask me. I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy

The first time I went here for a pedicure I loved the experience (August 2017). It was two of us and we both got the royal treatment. They get 2 stars because of the first visit but this 2nd one was terrible. I went this week and it was a totally different experience. It felt rushed and it was a poor quality job. My pedicure was fine but not impressive but Im really disappointed with my nails. I had a gel polish and its super inconsistent and sloppy. One hand has a gap and the other is spilling over. The attached pic is taken the next morning after getting my nails done. I complained to the nail tech during the manicure and he kept making excuses or saying he will fix it. Clearly its not fixed. I thought maybe it was because it was near closing time that he was rushing and was trying to be understanding but then the posted price for gel manicure is also not the same amount they charged to my card. I was done trying to reason with the man so I just vowed not to go back.

I have never written a review before on anyone but I guess that gives an idea about the level of disappointment that I have. My coworker got her nails done here and they look stunning so I decided to check them out.The guy who did my nails had a funny eye and he did a terrible job. My nails are bumpy, thick and uneven. He was rushing and in doing so my nails look a mess.It wasnt worth the $ 60 spent.I dont know whether to soak them off or if I should go back and make them correct them.

I’ve been going here for 4 years and have always loved the service. I haven’t been anywhere else since....I get my nails done every 2 1/2 to 3 weeks for the sns mani. Today, When I took the foil off I noticed the nail was green..... now I’m at the urgent care because I have an infection in nails on both of my hands and have to take meds for 3 weeks.I won’t be going back. So please make sure you ask if they’ve cleaned their tools!

I went to a guy with a tooth necklace and he rushed through the whole process and i have cuts all over my fingers with a nail filer and i still had to pay $70 for a rushed and cut all over my fingers. When i let him know i had cuts he asked how did that happen and i told him but he didn’t acknowledge that he was at fault and i still paid the same amount.

I was well taken care of by Justin and Kim. A full set and pedi and a friendly environment.

Very Nice. The staff is very welcoming and kind. When I arrived I was welcomed by one of the staff members and put into a chair asap. (I did call 10 minutes in advance) 👍 I got a classic pedicure and manicure. Keven did my feet and Jenni did my nails while Miah did my brothers nails and feet. They did an awesome job on us!!!! I will recommend this spa to others. Just know theyre a little bit higher in price compared to your other nail shops. Me and my brothers total together came to $80😭. But it was soooo worth it!! 👍

This place over charged me $60 just for painting my finger nails and a pedicure and painting of my toe nails.I never fixed anything on both my hands and feet.I did not want to cause a scene so i paid but they would never see me again .If this is the way they do business,they would loose lots of customers.The guy that did my nails was very nice but the money was outrageous..Not worth it..

I have been coming to this salon for well over 3 months now and I am usually very pleased with my nails. Usually they give 5 star work, but my experience today was 1 star. My last visit, Justin did my set and they were PERFECT. Today, i had a different tech and that was not the case. I went in for a coffin shape SNS fill in and needless to say, I was not satisfied with the outcome. My nail are bumpy, uneven and not coffin shaped. I was charged extra for 5 ombre style nails that did not come out ombre but more of half one color and half another. I love this location because of the wide variety of SNS color options. I am very disappointed with my set today.I have attached pictures to show the work.

I only went here because my girlfriend had an event in this area and it was top rated in the area. To be honest the experience was soso. Customer service was nice, my nail tech was Mia, and she was super nice and attentive. However, the work was mediocre and not worth $50. Somehow, even after I told her one of my nails was crooked it still ended up being crooked which I didnt realize until I already left and was on my way home 55 mins away... I definitely wasnt driving back. But yea that left a bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention they upcharge for length and shape. Ive heard of charging extra for real long nails but not shape!!! All in all only thing that saved my experience was the customer service but they should consider the prices especially when the work doesnt match .

It was pretty busy for a Sunday which I figured. They said 20min wait time but it was an 1hr+. I was one of the last ones so I felt I was a bit rushed. My nails came out way longer then I asked for. The color on some of the nails looks blotchy and not fully covered. My pinkie nail was crooked and she did not take off any of the dry skin from cuticils. Overall I don’t mind my nails I think there ok and I did love the color.

Very upsetting experience I went in expecting a awesome experience it was not to begin with the man that greeted me and some young ladies was so rude there were 4 ladies ahead of me and finally after waiting twenty min I was seated then 20 min after that another man came to greet me I picked out this glitter nail sns and I came in at 430 I left at 715 thats almost 3 hours later !!! My nails do not have glitter all the way to the end and I just realized my nail is crooked on my middle finger after paying $45 and a tip of $8 I am FURIOUS I did not know how badly this job was until I got home I am so unhappy with the results best part was my waxing that came out nice ..I will be returning to get my nail fixed this is ridiculous

Wasted $75 for a job not well done to my expectations on my nails. When i complained they despise and ignored me telling me something else. What a waste of time and money I couldnt understand how it was calculated to be that expensive and when I asked nothing was summing up. Definitely Im very disappointed as I went there with very high expectations of the place but I didnt feel that way. No need describing how my nails look because no one has appreciated it for 2 days now after being done you know what I mean. It has shifted away from my cuticle already having a gap showing after 2 days of spending $75 on my nails. One of those wrongly paid jobs ☹☹☹

Justin was very RUDE and mean to me. Ive been coming to this salon for almost 2 years now. My father was in the hospital and I was having a rough day I decided to come and get my mind off of things. I called Justin and told him I was running 5 minutes behind. He decided to take another client EVEN THOUGH I CALLED. I got there 8 minutes late and he made me wait 40 minutes until he finished. I also asked for him to do my eyebrows. He said he didnt have time because he had another client! After he made me wait 40 minutes. Mind you I told him Im not having a good day my father is in the hospital. He said he didnt care and he didnt have time. Save your money this place is overpriced and doesnt even care about building a personal relationship with you. I spend at LEAST $120.00 per visit and was still treated like garbage. Justin will never get my money again!

I came in wanting a specific nail set design. Instead of saying they cant do it or to choose something else, they just continue on with it. The last result looks a little messy and on top of that paying this ridiculous amount and being happy with the end result just doesnt sit right with me.Not really satisfied.
