My first visit was this past weekend (yesterday, 8/7). I was referred by a friend whod been going for years. Made an appointment and specifically asked to be scheduled with the person she uses--Cindy. I scheduled for a pedicure and eyebrow wax.I made it clear at the FRONT DESK that this was my first visit.After signing in, a lady says (while Im still signing in) follow me.I told the front desk--AGAIN, this is my first time, I dont know WHERE she went. A customer pointed me to an area around the corner.I was told that the gel was an extra $7.00.It wasnt until I reviewed my receipt to day that these scoundrels charged a $5.00 EXTRA REMOVAL FEE THAT NEITHER THE FRONT DESK, THE PERSON THAT WHISKED ME IN THE BACK, NOR CINDY BOTHERED TO MENTION!!!!!!!!!1Very unethical and unprofessional. IF I return, I will NOT get that service again!!!!!!!!!!!!**To their credit, they are clean and the atmosphere was OK**

The salon is well managed and very safe! Justin does fabulous work and is so innovative. Im so glad Essential Day Spa is now PG Nails.

Can be better service l am a three year customer. Some of the time service are good but with regular customer the service is very tensed because the raps sometime act like they dont understand my request or choose not to. Iam leaning toward of choosing other option then comings back to this spa.

Absolutely Awful. I’ve given these people a few tries. Today, i experienced four (4) gel nails falling off. The first two happened within 5 hours and two more just came off at 8PM.When I returned to have the first two repaired, I asked if they used OPI and Kim (the nail tech) told me she would use it next time. I’m trying to figure out why she took it upon herself to apply cheaper products at the same price?I haven’t done anything that requires excessive use of my hands. They are NOT getting another dime from me!

I have been going to this salon since February. I love Kevin. He is one of the best there. He works at both locations too. You just have to call and request him. They are a little bit more expensive, which is why I gave 4/5 stars.. Compared to other shops I have been to in the area they are worth the money. I just suggest picking off of their price list which is up front where you go to pay. Make sure they understand what you want and you understand the pay. Also, pay attention to all of the extras they offer because they can add up quickly.Other than that the place is clean and nice. You dont have to wait long if you go as a walk in.

This place is way too pricey. And they try to hustle you into additional service. There is an up charge for EVERYTHING. They move too fast and do not do a thorough job. The woman who did my manicure cut my cuticle — bc she was too busy in conversation with a coworker. I was bleeding everywhere. My hands looked worse than they did when I arrived. Not a good experience. This is consistently the case. I tried to give them another shot; but, I will not be going back.

I am very sensitive about my feet and would only let family members touch them, but last year I got talked into getting a pedi here and wished I had found Essential Day Spa years ago! Its a nice little place and the people are very friendly. They do a great job and now I am a regular customer, funny looking feet and all!

She didn’t allow the acetone to soak long enough and ended up excessively filing & scraping away at my nail beds. Needless to say, I walked out with damaged nails and paid $7 for it.I should’ve checked the price before heading to the chair but the standard in this area is $5 for removal.Heed the previous reviews, customer service is nonexistent here.

This place is a little pricey for their services, but they do a great job. The woman who did my nails and my pedicure took her time and explained to me each service I wanted to know about. She did accidentally cut me when doing my hands .... ouch! But offered me a free additional color on my hands if I wanted. Very professional and clean! Will be going back and taking my mom with me.

It was so good! The staff there were really nice, and their nail choices were beyond than words!

I will NEVER come here again. I’ve been here before and they’ve done an okay job but after this, I will never again. So this day I came in for a full set, she asked me to pick my color so I did. I then sat down and waited to be serviced and one lady that worked there was playing candy crush on her IPad just looking at me. So then a girl walked in after me looking to get her nails removed and the lady who was on her IPad proceeded to to take off her nails mind you I was there first, although I didn’t say anything because I thought to myself maybe she doesn’t do acrylics. After that a Mom and daughter walked in looking to get their feet done they got serviced first one again because a man just stopped working on someone’s hands. At this point I wanted to leave but didn’t. So after 30 mins of just sitting there waiting I was FINALLY serviced. When I sat down she immediately started filing down my nails as soon as I sat down. She didn’t clean under my nails or anything. So once she was done with putting the acrylic on she started shaping the acrylic and that hurt because she was filing into my cuticles I’m now looking at pink pinky nail which hurts and is bleeding a little . The shape I asked for was coffin I didn’t receive that, my nails are square. By the time the lady finished everybody was gone and my nails weren’t done dry but I totally felt rushed. So I got up and left by the time I got home 4 of my nails paint was messed up( which I do take full responsibility for it because I could’ve stayed longer ). But not only that but on my right hand my nail broke. I do not recommend this salon at all .

Never in my life has a gel manicure chipped in less than 8 hours, but after going here three nails are chipped or peeling off less than a day after the mani. Will not be going back and do not recommend. Would give 0 stars if I could.

This is a horrible nail salon. They are nasty. I found human cuticle remains in the cuticle nippers! Ewww! So gross. They dont wash their hands, they dont use gloves. And everyone dips their hands into the same hot wax. Its disgusting. I wasnt pleased with the way my nails were done. I felt so stressed because I knew the place wasnt clean. Even though she wiped the manicure tools down with alcohol after I complained, this was a deal breaker for me. Dont go here. Save yourself from getting an infection or possibly worse due to poor sanitation. Never going back.

Horribleeeeeeeeeeee got my lashes done Friday by Kim by Saturday morning they were Half gone. Paid $35 plus $5 tip. Went back Sunday Kim took them all off and redid them today is Wednesday I have not one false lash on. DONT GO FOR LASHES

I just stopped in for a pedicure because just happened to be in the area. My technician did not take her time and the service felt rushed! It was only me and two other customers on the shop. Needless to say I did not leave a tip and will not be returning!
