Me and my sister came into Houston from out of state and she inherited a car that needed a bit of work and Mr. Guillen was amazing and professional with us and made us feel comfortable with the entire process since we dont know much about cars. He explained everything in details to us from the beginning to end which was a huge relief. Was looking for a electrical mechanic on Google saw that Guillen Auto repair and Electric had a 4.9 star review read the comments saying that hes honest, professional, friendly, and that theyll be recommending him to their friends/family well so will I because I found all those things to be true went in for some electrical work that another mechanic said was gonna cost me 1200 to fix took Mr.Guillen a few hours and it didnt even cost me half of half of that if you dont want to get ripped off and lied to I cant recommend Mr.Guillen enough. Awesome mechanic and good person.

I needed a specific test done for my car and they were the only dealership who had the machine! The owner was so nice and kept up with information and phone calls even had videos to show me improvement after a car part change! Would definitely go back and definitely recommend this place to anyone ! Worth it !

I 1000 % recommend Guillen Repair Shop! I recently found Guillen on google and was needing my car to get looked at. I have been to other mechanics and could never get a direct and honest answer with my car. My car wouldnt turn on Tuesday after work and I thought it was my starter. I called Omar and he quickly referred me to a tow trucker Pedro. I called Pedro and got my car towed the same day for a very good fee. They both called me to let me know when my car arrived at Guillens shop. Omar called me the next day letting me know it was not my starter. It was my cable and tunnel to my batter that was causing bad connection, reason for my car not starting. Omar was very straight forward and professional and very nice. Omar had my car ready by the time I got out of work on Wednesday. I was super impressed and I am very lucky to have found a mechanic I can trust. Please do not look anywhere else Omar is the BEST!!

About 2 weeks ago it rained for 7 days straight in Houston. I accidentally drove thru some high water (Sat) that resulted in my dashboard interior lights and my back running lights to flicker. The following Sat is when I met Mr. Guillen at his shop. He noticed that my lens covering one of my front blinker lights was missing and the bulb. He immediately knew thats how the water entered. He was so nice! He informed me that he was busy today & if I could drop it off Monday. He told me the price and the problem!! I dropped it off Monday & it was ready on Tuesday. Please stop ignoring your car problems (THEY CANT BE IGNORED) because you think electrical will be expensive.....I will not say what Mr. Guillen charged but it was EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE!

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Guillen yesterday after being referred to me by a couple of my coworkers. I went by his shop and he test drove my vehicle and he assured me there is nothing wrong with my transmission. I had already been told my transmission is slipping and received 2 estimates to repair it for $3000 and $4000. He even took the time to go online and look up my VIN # to show me the maintenance milestones as to what and when I should schedule my next services. He also printed out paperwork regarding an update for me to check with the dealership and make sure my car has the update. He told me I should take my car to the dealership, he couldve easily told me something was definitely wrong with my transmission and quoted me a price; but he was honest, and told me hed rather I go to the dealership than for him to take my money. I will definitely refer my family and friends to Mr. Guillen.

I am not from Houston or Texas, so when I arrived 3 weeks ago by myself (single woman) I was having horn problems (was not working) and my oil was past over needing to be changed! So I was worried because I know how people say that mechanics will try and get over on you, especially me being a woman. So with that worry on my mind I asked a friend who suggested Guillen Auto Repair. When I tell you once I was greeted by Guillen his smile and his demeanor helped ease a little of my worry, but the way he diligently worked on my car, explaining every step of the the way, and answering all my questions my worry disappeared and I knew I had came to the right spot. He provided me with 10 star service and I mean the price made me oh so happy! What he charged me was less than what I thought I would pay! So longer story short! I would suggest taking you vehicles to Guillen any day of the week!All I can say is now I have a mechanic in Texas!

Today I went for a BREAK job at Guillens Auto Shop and WAOOOOOO I was VERY impressed with the JOB he preformed on my SUBURBAN TRUCK MAN THIS GUY HAD ALL THE TOOLS AND MACHINES IT TOOK TO THE JOB DONE I SAW HE RESURFACED MY ROTORS AND INSTALLED MY NEW PADS IF THIS GOOGLE HAD 100 STARTS I WOULD GIVE THEM ALL TO HIM MR.
