I honestly love my apartment!! Its everything I hoped for and more!! The staff was very kind and courteous. Yuliana has helped me with any issues or questions I have had. They really made the process easy for me; which is great because I was displaced from Hurricane Laura at the time. I have been staying here for 5 months and I really have no complaints. I had an issue with my A/C leaking in my kitchen and I put a service order for it in the middle of the night and they were here bright and early the next morning to fix it. And any other issue Ive had has been fixed in a reasonable timely manner. Best of all the neighborhood is a good area!!! I have not heard a single gunshot since I have been staying here; which is a huge bonus for me!! It is quiet, peaceful and beautiful here!!

I am posting this as I did not receive a reply from anyone in the corporate office. The regional manager will not talk to me per the secretaries at headquarters/corporate. I would appreciate it if someone would respond and hear me out completely before making a decision on my situation. The district manager above the property manager did not even reply to my email when I replied to hers.I am writing this in search of support for an ongoing issue Ive had in my apartment on one of your properties. Ive had an ongoing maintenance issue for the past year regarding my AC, leaks from the vent, a drip in the wall, and constant wet carpet. They installed a new HVAC 3 weeks ago and the first week it was not working for a night. Due to this issue I have not been able to use my living room because I had to take the tv off of the wall because its under the vent that drips water. They say the leak is from upstairs but also from my own HVAC. I still have not gotten a 100% confirmed answer on what the problem is. Someone came to see it Saturday and said that there is a pipe that is broken under the AC that is causing my carpet to be wet constantly but that the upstairs also has to do with it. It took a whole year for them to send someone to come and see what the issue was. There is now a whole in my wall under the AC. I have continuously received a glazed over quick fix instead of a deep root issue fix. Do not move here if you want the management to take you seriously. Had this truly been fixed a year ago I would not be here writing this. My health has been affected because of this, allergies and sinus pressure, Im always tiptoeing around the wet carpet, and Im often left in a hot apartment because it will randomly stop working.I have asked to be transferred to a new unit because the one I am in is not livable and has unresolved issues. The manager has approved me to do so with no transfer fee. My concern now is that I wont be charged the same rent amount I pay now to move into this new unit. I have asked to move into the new building that was just rebuilt because it seems more reliable than any of the older buildings. I dont want to move into a unit that will have its own set of issues. If the issue had been resolved I wouldnt be looking to move. I am only moving because they wont make a solid fix. They said that if I move to a new unit I have to renew the lease. I have battled with this for a year already and absolutely do not want to stay any longer than what my current lease has left. I do believe the fair thing to do would be to charge me the same rent for all of the inconveniences I have experienced for the rest of my lease which is 9 months. I have been extremely patient yet persistent. Ive made sure to document all conversations and take pictures. Im more than happy to forward any and all of the history over to someone that may be able to help.I work extremely hard for my money and I know what I am entitled to as a tenant who pays their bills and rent on time. I will reiterate my needs and rights to anyone I can talk to regarding this. I feel safe in Walden Pond and have enjoyed living in that complex and neighborhood aside from this situation. I only want to be able to come home to dry carpet, dry walls, and working AC which is not anything extreme to be asking for. I dont understand why Harbor Group Management thinks its ok for me to have to live with the inconvenience. If I dont want to extend my lease and pay more, Harbor Group Management thinks I should just sit in a leaky apartment while they put band aid after band aid on the situation. No one is willing to look at this from my point of view. If this was your home you would want the same help. As of 5/26/2021 my carpet is still wet, my vent is still leaking, the drip is still heard in the wall, and the broken pipe has not been fixed. I have tried to patiently talk to people up the chain of command but now I am being ignored, I am not being heard or responded to so I am posting for anyone who will listen and help me.

Waldon is a great place to live . I been there a year and a half and i love it there,Its a safe place to live i am very happy living there.. its family oriented. I love my neighbors. The leasing office have a wonderful team of people they all work together to make it happen .❤🤍👍🏾

Yuliana Rosales helped me as the leasing agent. She was beyond wonderful! I have moved many times, and her service was by far the best ever! She was patient, and she listened to my concerns. Not only did she listen, but she came up with a viable solution. She spent more time with me than any other leasing agent ever has in all of my rental experiences. Walden Pond has an outstanding, genuinely attentive staff. Yuliana was humourous, professional, and compassionate. I cant say enough nice things about my experience with her at Walden Pond Apartments. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have lived here 3 years and I must tell you do not believe all the bad this you hear about this place. Somebody said they were my child which none of it is true. Yes if you run across somebody writing for their Dad with diabetes and stroke dont believe it. I have never had any problems here in this complex or with the office. it is a nice quiet place to live. Every maintenance issue I have ever turned in has always been fixed within 24 hrs. The office Staff does everthing to keep this place safe one time the lights on my building were out for 3 days so when I got home that evening I called the office and the next evening the lights were on. I am at peice and even though I am moving I must say this is the best place I have lived. and I will miss it

They have a roach infestation soooo bad I started seeing them after 2 days and it just became worse & worse to the point where I didn’t even wanna be in the house anymore. If I could rate them 0 I would it’s not worth what you pay these reviews are not very truthful on here.

Pros: Walden Pond and Gables is an economical place to live. Ms. Yuliana Rosales, the Leasing consultant is always good and responsive and on top of all the queries and work orders. She was proactive during the winter storm to check to make sure there were no leaks in the apartments. Kudoos to her for keeping clients needs as priority. Maintenance personnel are really responsive and helpful and obliging.Cons: Some tenants are very loud, some litter all around the parking lot & around the apartment stairs, park in NO PARKING areas, People speeding in the apartment area, people with dogs not always picking up the poop. Maintenance do not clean the stairs of the trash which stays for days & weeks around some apartments.

I lived in these apartments for two years before moving out. I am so happy that I did! These apartments are the nastiest apartments I have ever seen! The roaches in these apartments are insane! No matter how much you clean the roaches are still everywhere! Daily I would sweep up piles and piles of roaches! They need to stop doing renovations on the outside and clear out the roaches! I wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog! The water is always being turned off and on a weekly which was always a pain. It may be cheaper but the stress of the roaches and nastiest of the place isn’t worth it. Please do yourself a favor and avoid these apartments!!

I moved out in the beginning of March and was not accessed any move out charges! They didn’t need the apartment looking like new upon moving out but did need it to be well cleaned. I moved out when the apartment complex started having a 24 hour security guard around. It is an overall nice apartment complex to live in. There are security cameras around the complex. They keep the exterior of the complex clean overall. If you need the office to get something done it is best to visit the office. However I think I can say that about every apartment.

I recently moved to Houston with my 3 year old, and thanks to Yuliana Rosales, the transition was a very smooth one. For over two months, Ms. Rosales and I spoke about my upcoming move and each time we spoke I knew that I would be calling Walden Pond my new home. She answered each of my questions with such care, and responded to my email the same day or the day after unless it was the weekend. She walked me through the entire process with such enthusiasm and just provided excellent service overall. The entire staff at a Walden Pond was a pleasure to work with, however, Ms. Rosales went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with my new place. The apartment was in mint condition the day I moved in with a few minor issues, which Ms. Rosales immediately addressed. I highly recommend her and Walden Pond to anyone who is looking for a new start in the Houston Area.

These apartments are so nasty they don’t want to come fix anything the roaches is getting way out of hand no matter how much u clean. I keep telling the office an they are doing nothing at all to fix it. They are very Rude in the office and don’t ever call you back when they say there are. The water is always turned off I have not had HOT water in my apartment for over 4 months I do not Recommend these apartments to anyone.,

Im posting this with the hope that I hear from the property manager today. My elderly parents live at this community and today the stove/oven completely stopped working. When I contacted the office the leasing person stated this isnt a maintenance emergency and that it will probably not be addressed until the middle of next week. I understand not calling in the maintenance person for a light bulb, icemaker, or airfilter. However the oven being completely out they are unable to prepare their food. Every news station is telling people the roads will be dangerous on Monday and Tuesday. I guess the experience of the residents doesnt matter to this management team.

I stand by my theory that every single review thats over 3 stars is 100% fake and written by Harbor Group Management themselves or family/friends. Ive lived here going on 3 years. When greystar was managing this property we didnt have half as many problems. Let me set this straight there has ALWAYS been roaches in our apartment since day one. As others have stated the roach issue is extremely serious at this complex. Since switching over to new management it seems like they turn off the water every other day for repairs. For the past year we havent had stable hot water. Even before the winter storm we never had a consistently hot water supply. Since the winter storm, TWO WEEKS ago, we have not had any hot water period. One of the leasing agents mistakenly guaranteed water would be on last week and Im sure thats caused frustration and complaints throughout the complex. Since 2/17 theyve made excuse after excuse as to why we have ice cold water. First they were setting up temporary boilers to hold us over while they fixed the main ones. I would be fine with that if they actually followed through. It shouldnt take over ten days to set up a temporary boiler. Now the current excuse is that were on the list behind hospitals and Healthcare buildings.......WHERE IN THE CITY OF HOUSTON DO HOSPITALS STILL NOT HAVE WATER?! The blatant lies and excuses coming from harbor group management is insane. Just say you dont have anyone working on the boilers and you wish to torture all of your tenants with ice cold showers for the rest of eternity. What ever happened to temporary boilers? What have the workers been doing for two entire weeks!? Are we EVER going to have hot water?! I cannot wait until my lease is up jesus christ.

The Walden pond side of the apartment complex is dirty to put it lightly.There has been an empty apt below me for a week or two and has an entire trail of used cat litter on the staircase that hasn’t been addressed by a single maintenance workerBroken glass and food remnants surround most of the cars in the parking lot.The office workers speak to you rudely & condescendingly. which happens to be my favorite aspect of living here.Because nothing says home more than being treated disrespectfully on a regular basis.I have come to the conclusion that the workers in the leasing office have no intention of taking responsibility for their mistakes/actions/behavior but instead it is their primary function to be correct in all situations. So if you love narcissistic behavior come on down to Walden pond.P. SThe maintenance men don’t wear a mask while in your home so good luck not getting COVID-19 here!!

Ive been telling them to install a microwave for a long time, but they all ignored the request. What is written on the site is full of lies. After all, they said it was bad for me not to ask, Is the microwave in the apartment first? Even though the site says there is a microwave.I repeatedly said that there was a microwave oven installed in the apartment on the site, but from the other side I was told, I dont know that.

These apartments were great under the PREVIOUS owners! Now, to get in contact with anyone in the office is a struggle. The roaches issue is ridiculous. No matter how you clean, they come out of everywhere! I think the mngt needs to do more walk around the apt, including the Gables side. I have been complaining about my carpet and appliances forever. I like the quiet of the apt overall but they need to fix not just the outside of the apt but inside as well. Might want to start doing some walk around in the apt as well!!!

I have been here 6 years and for good reason. It is a clean and safe complex. I love my apartment. I have met the new staff, Irene the best leasing manager and Yuli and Marian. I had a broken window and they had fixed the same day. Great maintenance crew. Definitely check this out.

Not really sure what the point of “24 hour emergency maintenance” is.I called the complex after hours, I had just dropped my car off at the dealership to get fixed and I forgot my key ring.Yes I understand, this is my fault.And if I lived by myself I would have just taken myself to a friends or relatives home to stay the night, BUT I also have two dogs.So it took the complex over 25 minutes to get back in touch with me, and when they did they told me that they do not unlock doors after hours.I explained that it was an emergency and that I have living and breathing animals inside of my home and the maintenance man George didnt’t care whatsoever, and after I repeatedly asked him if he could get me in context with someone higher up so I could explain my situation he didn’t offer any help other than to call a locksmith.So somehow animals being locked in a apartment “isn’t an emergency”.Really nice to know.

These apartments were nice at the start but the longer we’re here it’s not getting any better. We can’t go to the leasing office cause of COVID and management NEVER responds to any emails sent to them. Took them about 3 months after moving in and me to actually PHYSICALLY go visit them to give me my washer and dryers in my apartment which was part of my lease. Now we’ve discovered black mold on our ceiling!! Maintenance says it’s in other apartments too! Honestly I would not recommend you staying in these apartments! They need to learn how to respond to emails!

I’ve been living here for about a month now and I couldn’t be any happier. I came here in February and explained I wasn’t planning on moving until July, but I was still welcomed in by Yuliana and was given a tour of the community. Yuliana was great with maintaining contact, helping me throughout the searching, application, and moving process. The staff is amazing at what they do, and made my entire experience enjoyable, unlike other places I have stayed. Even after moving in, I received a few calls from the office checking in on me and my moving process, and ensuring I have everything I need for my new home. As I stated before, I couldn’t be any more happy with my experience and definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for a new place to call home.

I witnessed Irene being rude while my mother was trying to report a safety concern of water leaking into the fire detector as if this was an inconvenience to document herself. This was after my mother received errors from attempting to put in the work request online herself. Walden Pond should prioritize safety concerns of their residents.

This is a great place to live if you dont have any other options. These apartments were certainly there when me and my family needed it the most. They are flexible when you need help or time to pay your rent. Unfortunately, they have a pest problem - roaches. Although they spray and we clean, roaches are a BIG PROBLEM. Also, my carpet has never been cleaned after renewing my lease even though they said they would. Lastly, they have the water shut off every afternoon and by the time you realize it, the email notification comes out but you need to wash your hands, use restroom, etc. Aside from that, its not a bad place to live.

This Apartment complex is a waist of money. DO NOT MOVE HERE. From the moment we moved in two years ago there was red flags !! They have a serious roach issue. The apartments are extremely outdated and appliances are cheap and/or poorly refurbished. Management in the leasing office is constantly changing with poor communication with their residents. Our rent continue to increase every 3 months with no liable answer as to why. They have a serious water problem that also effects your rent and no security on duty at night which a major safety concern given the area it’s located. I highly recommend weighing your options before signing a lease here.

Harbor Group has transformed Walden Pond and The Gables into a Pleasant place to call HOME! I was thinking of moving at the end of my 8 years because the community begin to look run down and gloomy. Your great efforts with the construction and complete renovations are not gone unrecognized. Thank you. In addition, the office staff is very professional. It took from Jan 2020 until Oct 2020 to win the early bird special but, I did. So for the non believers (myself included) they do award winners! One last thing, Maintenance is amazing. It use to take 3-4 days to complete a work order. Just this morning at 9:18 am I submitted a work order, 45 mins later a knock at the door, 10:15 am, work order was completed. Really, on a Monday Morning. Now, thats River Oaks High Rise maintenance service. Seriously, thank you for making Walden Pond a proud place to call home. Enjoy your day and thank you for listening. I’ve had a wonderful experience over the last 3 years. Quiet for the most part and staff very friendly when assistance needed. My only con would be residents with huge dogs that don’t pick up their poop and resident who don’t take pride in their trash on the weekend outside their door. Otherwise for the price and area, you can’t beat. Plus it is convenient to grocery, eateries, shopping, mall, and movies.

You get what you pay for. Maintenance is always friendly and great. Office staff is friendly but you won’t get any solutions or assistance with problems that affect all of the community living there. Packages go missing often. Great place to stay if you are prepared to solve issues on your own and pay for an outside mailbox, exterminator, etc.

I love my place. I have been here six months and I plan on renewing my lease as long as Richard stays in the office. I like him so helpful, respectful and always on top of his JOB! The pool is always clean and the fitness center finally has new equipment. I Have NO ROACHES and when ever I have a problem they fix it immediately. Great place to call home.

2021 July) Update: (Now a Group Harbor Mgmt Property) Moved back here after 2 years in May, now living on the Gables side. They have a rat problem, thats not been addressed, so watch your step and your pets. The unit is original but, completely renovated, its a great layout too. Unfortunately the Freezer seal of my freezer was busted but, they got a new fridge for me (2.5 months after I reported the issue on the day I moved in) and the bathtub plaster was cracked and they came and replastered the whole tub! (8 days after reporting the issue). Neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves, unfortunately there is one who keeps throwing their trash into the parking lot or onto the walkways but, any complex has the one gross neighbor I guess. I would recommend investing in the doorbell cameras. Most residents Ive met have them, complex is quiet but, walkway gates are always open and neighbors have reported their vehicles vandalized.(2018/2019)I loved my experience at the Walden Pond. My only regret is that they did not have the floor plan I desired, so I moved to a bigger unit at a different complex(huge mistake). I absolutely recommend living here! Maintenance is amazing, and so thorough! Cherise and Patricia in the office were fabulous, and very quick to address any concerns I might have. Large sized patios, beautiful landscaping, quiet and nice neighbors, and they even have fireplaces for that cozy feel! (Greystar Property)

Apartments are safe and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff(including maintenance). Apartments are clean except you we kept having issues with mold in the restroom. No bug issue but we had atleast 2 wasp in our home every day. But when you move out they will charge you fees that are ridiculous.

This place deserves zero stars. I have lived in other states and other residences and I have never been so displeased as I am at Waldon Pond. Maintenance will take up to 2-3 days to handle a request. And I am talking about serious request in my opinion. Last July my air went out. Now if anyone has lived in Houston for a single summer you know how uncomfortably hot it is during the summer. It took 2 days for them to even come and look at the air conditioning unit. I have had 2 incidents where the COLD water didnt work. Something I have never heard of in my entire life. Maybe hot water not working but COLD. Then the management staff ask you stupid questions like (Are you sure the water doesnt work??). They talk down to you and in my opinion they really dont care one way or another about your issues. My refrigerator was making this very loud humming noise (mind you my unit has some of the oldest appliances I have seen in any other unit I have ever lived in) it took them 2 days to come and check it and all they did was try and patch it up. Not 30 minutes later the noise started back up. Now it was obvious that the thing was going out but instead of replacing it they bring another motor that they have patched up. At one point when you drove by the maintenance area you would see nothing but old refrigerators back there but whatever. Oh and that workout facility, dont let those pics fool you, nothing works. All they did was remodel it but it has the same broke equipment. Thats what have done with the entire complex. Made it look really pretty on the OUTSIDE but those units, not so much. I have called numerous times and stopped by the front office to speak to the manager and NOTHING. I had to contact actually management company (no answer but left a nice message), before I could finally get some type of half way decent service. My lease cant end soon enough. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worse enemy. Sign a lease at your OWN RISK!

I like the property. I been here since September of 2015 and i dont have any problems. The staff are pretty cool and always saying hey . I had a pretty bad leak in my apartment at two in the morning and i put the request in online so i wouldnt forget and put a buck underneath. 30 min later he was there and The leak was fixed. Nice clean pool and its close to a lot of food and shopping places.

My stay here at the walden pond Apartments, has been short but comfortable. The area is very well kept, and also peaceful. The leasing staff is on point have very good vibes. Overall a great place to stay..... Thank you to TNeja, Patricia And Katie great ladies at heart.

A great place to live if....youre okay with mold, roaches, termites, and leaky appliances, and getting alleged, burglary and crime notices every month. Or if you have no friends, because theres no where for them to park. Or if you enjoy poor customer service by the office staff....rudeness, and being told theyre too busy to help you, or about to go on their lunch break, or having your packages misplaced. They are very friendly until the day you sign your lease. Its even better if you dont mind being in need of essential repairs for weeks at a time (locks broken? who cares?), then having the maintenance team show up, unprepared, and tracking multiple repairmen in and out on several trips to fix the most basic of things. Lush landscaping is a lie. If anything its a jungle. Good luck not getting smacked in the face, or having your hair pulled by overgrown branches when youre going in and out of your car. I recently saw a large rat behind an air condition unit, which its odd for the amount of stray cats on the property. Its only a matter of time before it makes its way into the walls, through some of the exposed rotting wood. Dont be fooled by the model apartment. If you end up on the other side of the complex, you will get something completely different, and they will not allow you to see your unit before move in day. Excuses, excuses. Moving here will prove the be the worst decision youve ever made.

I honestly can’t wait until our lease is up to get out of here. This was one of the worst decision to live here. If you’re coming here to help save money - don’t wast your time. My base rent is $715 but we’ve had to pay up to $900 because all of their mandatory fees. The you have to pay to do laundry which is around $3 (wash & dry) per load if you do it on site. So make sure you calculate that into every other bill. Like I said, can’t wait to rid this place. They need to update their pictures because it doesn’t look that at all. (ps management I don’t want your stupid feedback reply)

Have lived here for 6 months. Loud music all the time. Roaches. We have taken care of those ourselves, wasp nest above our porch. (Took care of it myself after maintenance said they couldn’t do anything) speed bumps don’t make a difference and people speed up and down the parking lot. But the worst part about it. Our water has been turned off more times than we can count with no warning. It’s seems like every other week they are having to turn it off for maintenance. I would avoid this place if you can. If it’s your only option just be aware of what you’re getting in to.

Its quiet and in a convenient location, however the management is horrible. They never want to work with you about anything. I have had a toilet that has been broken for months because they only fix it temporarily. I was going through a hard time and asked for an extension on my rent and when the management said yes, something in my gut told me to ask again and I found out that it wasnt an extension. Just a notice to not get an eviction letter but that wasnt told to me at first. If I hadnt double checked, I wouldnt have known about the fees. I only needed a week extension and the fees were $150. Ive never missed a payment. Its a shame how hey treat their residents but the location is good

This was actually a fairly nice place to live. I liked the area but it was out of the way for my job and they never seem to have anything but 3rd floor apartments available, which is mainly why I moved. I gave them a low rating because I found out once I moved out that theyre crooks! They make up a bunch of fake charges when you move out and try to get a bunch of money out of you. The management is as fake as they come.Edit: not sure why she posted a reply asking me to call and work something out. I did that when I first found out they charged me and they rudely refused to remove any of the charges and wouldn’t work with me. Their corporate office is also very rude and unprofessional and insulted me when I tried to talk to them. The assistant manager of Walden Pond told me unless I was calling to make a payment she wasn’t interested in talking to me.

All I can say is........Roaches, Roaches, Roaches, Roaches. Staff is nice nasty rude, incompetent, incapable, unknowledge, inconsistent. Maintinece comes in to spray for roaches, but whatever it is that they spray seems to only make them worse. If you are a person that can deal with living with roaches and other little critters, then by all means I recomend Walden pond apartments for you and your family. The trash is horrible, there is always trash and furniture PILLED at the dumpster. Owners leave their dog poop behind. Reported the problem and the problem was never solved. I guess its TRUE, you get what you pay for. For 1300 dollars a month this is what u will get I guess.

Moved into this apartment in April and it was the biggest mistake i had ever made. This apartment is horrible, my air conditioner leaked underneath my carpet and every time i asked for them to come and fix it all they would do is suck up the water. I kept telling them that the air conditioner needs to be replaced but they wouldnt listen to me so the last time they tried to fix it they reorganized my entire apartment and piled all of my belongings on my beds and left their fan underneath the carpet that they cut and now my entire apartment smells like mildew and when i called the service number again no one came out. Your best bet is to not move here at all. Oh and they said they were doing n 8 week project on the gym its been over the 8 weeks and the same broken equipment is still in the gym they havent done anything but knock down a wall.

I lived here for two years ....very old fridge asked for it yo be changed when I moved in and they never did until I moved out it was still there. It was white filled with rust which is the least of my problems. I paid a $250 deposit moved out 2months ago and am yet to receive my deposit. I call and leave messages no return then I finally spike with the manager Patricia today and she said I didnt have a deposit. I know for a fact that I paid a deposit of $250. She had told me on a early day that my charges where 35 dollars for a broken Window blind and stove then i told her to subtract it from my deposit and mail the balance to me . She said ok just for her yo be telling me another story today. Stealing peoples hardearn money its not fair. I will be visiting the office sooner or later.

I wasnt even planning on writting a review but now that I have bump into them let me just say pls DO NOT lease here. I lived here and it was an such an awful experience! . The place is nasty with dog poo, needles.. yes my building had all these used needles that someone was throwing on the side walk, I was very paranoid about stepping on them. my neighbour even reported the problem and course they did nothing. Roaches, rats,( yeah they had a rat in my building that will come to my apartment at night and eat up things and they did nothing about it). Mold, I had really bad mold problem to an extent that mold started growing on my stuff ..my shoes clothes, suitcases you name it, I had to throw away some of my stuff becasue of this and it took them forever to do something about it. They also had constant break -ins. I had an incidence where someone broke into my place at night while I I was taking a shower, the most scary experience of my life. Thank God he didnt attack me. I can go on forever!. The worst was when I was awaken by loud screams from my neighbour only to find my poor neighbour dead with stabbed wounds ( whether he killed himself or someone did it Idk but it was such a traumatizing event for me).The staff were very unprofessional. one time I went to the office 5 mins before closing time just to pick up my ID which I had forgoten a day before, when Gloria heard me coming, she hurriedly locked the door and took off running literally through the back door., yes I know unbelievable .

DONT GO!!!!!! If I could have given a 0 it would have been warranted.-NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN STAFF AND ANSWERING SERVICE. (service gave all info and set up apt showing while stating they had 3 VERSIONS OF THE 2BEDRM APT I WANTED FOR MY FAMILY AND DAUGHTER / STAFF KNEW NOTHING OF CONVERSATION / TRIED TO RESALES/STATE INFO but still confirms apt showing for following day. When time of showing they state they have NO AVAILABILITY at this time. THIS would have not been a problem if i was given the courtesy of a phone call considering i had just driven an 1 hr through 5:00 traffic to view them, and now an hour back with my infant daughter. AFTER EXPLAINING THIS TO THEM THE APOLOGY WAS INSINCERE AND GESTURES OF THE STAFF NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. ALMOST RUDE. Might be a good idea to talk with someone who actually knows what they have available.

For you sake, DO NOT LEASE HERE!For the rent prices, one can find a far better, up kept and safe complex with professional staff members.Grounds: always subpar. The fountain if you can call it that, always has a foul smell along with an green film on top. Cars with flat tires sit in the parking lots for months and there is ALWAYS trash and furniture scattered around the property. The jacuzzi at the pool has never worked and is always unclean.Units: old, not maintained well at all. There are no modern fixtures, maintenance is slow to respond to issues, and you will find roaches constantly.Safety: NONE! My apartment was broken into. Maintenance took 2 hrs at night to come to my apartment not to fix my door but to patch it up. After a year, the door is still not fixed. I had to pay to have the locks changed and carpet cleaned from which the intruder somehow cut himself and tracked blood through my carpet. Since the, I have counted 6 letters on my door of robbers or sexual assaults in the complex.Staff: Beyond unprofessional! They have lost numerous packages, will leave you waiting in the office for 10 - 15 minutes before acknowledging your presence, never have a consist method of payment, and put important information on your door rather than making a phone call or sending an email.Any issues or concerns that are had fall on deaf ears. Misty in the corporate office will not respond to any form of communication.

Before Greystar took over these apartments they were pleasant. Since Greystar has taken over there have been numerous delays with maintenance requests along with multiple inexcusable parking issues. The leasing office does not respond to written or verbal communications. I will not be renewing my contract when it is up and I highly discourage anybody looking to move into these apartments, there are more than likely better places around here.

I HAVE NOWHERE TO PARK AS I WORK TILL LATE MIDNIGHT AND ALL THE PARKING SO CALLED VISITOR PARKING ARE FULL. I END UP PAYING $300.00 TO THE STORAGE COMPANY. ALWAYS WRITING YOU NOTICES OF BURGLARIES IN THE COMPLEX, THE MANAGER DONT CARE AT ALL. IT IS JUST A PAIN TO LIVE HERE. REALLY CANT WAIT FOR MY LEASE TO END. Ive lived in the Gables side for over two years. I just recently transferred units but also shopped around the area before deciding to stay. Im so glad I did! This complex is a GREAT BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! The units are older than these new lofts being built in the energy corridor but have amazing amenities and the staff is so nice! The leasing office is helpful and helped me every step of the way two years ago when it was my first lease. The maintenance staff is respectful and timely and can do amazing things! All my units have been spacious and cozy and they always make sure Im happy living there. With upgraded appliances and new carpet and hardwood floors you would be a FOOL not to rent here. Every other complex is filled with cheap flooring and appliances and are tiny asking up to 40% more for less square feet. I fully intend on staying here until buying a home in a few years. Great location that can take you right to Eldridge or Dairy Ashford. Super nice people at the Valero right next door if you need something when on your way home. Two major Krogers within a mile of the complex. I love where I live!!!

I recently moved out of the Walden Pond apartments for a job relocation assignment. I will say that living here was okay for the most part and the front office is really friendly and helpful.Pros - Great Price!! Location is right off of Westheimer near plenty of restaurants and shopping. Also not to far from major freeways such as I-10, Beltway 8, and West Park Tollway. Also not a far drive from the Memorial City area and Galleria.Management is very helpful and knowledgeable when you have questions/concerns and the complex manager Monica is also super friendly and nice to work with when you have concerns/issues that need to be escalated. Also management takes residents concerns very seriously and over the 2 1/2 years I lived there were significant improvements made throughout the property based on resident feedback.Complex has valet trash service (which you pay for monthly) Sunday - Thursday which is really nice and convenient for residents. You are provided with trashcan and all you have to do it put it outside your apartment by a certain time.Cons - older apartments so walls are very thin and dependent upon your neighbors this could be very irritating at times.While they have improved, majority of maintenance are spanish speaking individuals which proved difficult in getting issues done correctly the first time around. There were times where I requested a specific maintenance tech to come to my home because he spoke English and was very thorough in getting things done quickly and accurately.Water bills here can be high and irritating because they are shared throughout the property and not based on what you use in your apartment.Parking also can be irritating since there isnt a lot of it. If you arent at your home by a certain time, there is a strong possibility that you will be parking far from your apartment and having to walk.Overall - I give this complex a 3.0 out of 5 for location, price, and comfort. Also I notice that some other reviewers complained about roaches, for the entire time I lived here (2 1/2 years) we never had any tree roaches or major bugs in our apartment. We did see a few small ones when we had some nasty neighbors move in but once we sprayed we had no other issues. As previously stated, Management is super nice and they will do their best to assist you in a timely manner when needed. I would definitely recommend you staying here if youre looking for a great price and location!

The worst place to deal with, the move in date has changed 3 times. My daughter in law and my new 6 week old grandsons are in a hotel because the website said they had 2 apartments to move into on last Monday, They make you put the deposit down before the move in and the fees then they give a dead line that we cant meet!! Now they say they will not get the deposit back.My son is military and is not able to sign the lease, we ask can we do a power of attorney and they say you have to have it to me by the end of today at 5pm. HAHA lets just see how fast the military works.They have no idea what is going on and they are not user friendly!!! I am so sad that a place can do this to my son and daughter in law!! LOVE how they treat military familys!! NOT

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! This place is horrible and SUPER unprofessional!! Gloria(the leasing agent) is terrible!! She got mad at my husband & I over a ridiculous parking space & keyed our brand new car in which we know she did it because one of the residents saw her!! Someone also called the police on her once for being erratic & this is the leasing agent so imagine the professionalism. Our neighbors had a mice issue and our apartment flooded three times & ruined all of our belongings!! Some poor person had been attacked out there & was reporting it to Gloria & she laughed!!! Shes so freaking evil!! The property used to look so nice back 2013 but then they changed management!

Some staff members including management lack knowledge on their job criteria, I’ve had three incidents where in all occasions I was told that the apt I’ve already paid for was ready for move in. While it wasn’t and I’ve been waiting to receive back my deposit for three months and haven’t received a notice senes, I feel I was scammed and I’m going to take legal matters against y’all to help prevent this from happening to others, and hopefully you will take your clients seriously and put more effort and focus on your job instead of wasting your clients time and money.
