The apartments are so unsafe to live at. It is such a nightmare here. There’s a robbery every now and then and they say they have working cameras but donot have any evidence to show if something happened. Safety and security is the primary thing you look for when you move somewhere. They say they have gated community and security guard that we never get to see. The gates are open most of the times and no check whatsoever on who comes in. Dirty hallways and rude maintenance employees are the topics for another day. Today is just dedicated to being so insecure over here. If you have kids and family you would know how it feels. So disappointed!
I love it here and wouldnt change it at all. I transfer from Woodlake on the Bayou. That was the best choice I every made. Will be renewing my lease when the time comes. I really hate to leave this review here, but I feel the need to warn other people about living in this complex. This is not the complex I moved in about three years ago. Obviously, I decided not to renew my lease due to the things listed below. Let me start by saying that the location is amazing and a fairly nice area. However, there’s no security at all. They only rely on the gates which are broken 90% of the time and they don’t pursue to increase or improve it. You can constantly see strangers wandering around and using the common areas (not residents). Also, they used to send emails about continuous break-ins, but they decided to stop sending those since they were hurting the reputation of the company and residents were feeling scared hence not renewing their leases. Keep in mind that I have met 5 property managers in a lapse of a 3-year lease. That speaks volume about the lack of commitment of the company with the property. The complex usually looks filthy, halls, garage, gym, restrooms, etc. See attached pictures. They don’t keep good cleaning here as important as it is during these pandemic times. Lastly, when moving out, the property manager went to do the inspection and took some pictures of the apartment while complimenting me about how well preserved the unit was, including the carpets. Well, 4 weeks later I received my security deposit back but subtracting $250 in carpet cleaning. When I called to inquire about this, they told me that the property manager was no longer there (another manager changed), and they provided some photos of an old apartment which doesn’t even look like mine. This is the people you will be dealing with. Don’t get fooled about the recent change in name, this is still Tanglewood at Voss and you can get more value in a different complex. As a generalized observation, Richdale properties have some room for improvements when training their personnel. I haven’t bump into someone with good customer service skills yet. I would’ve even rated with 0 stars but 1 stars will do just for location.
Very worst management I have ever seen in my life.. Our AC has problem for several months, and they do not do anything!!!! For 1 bedroom apartment we are paying more than $200 for electricity every single month because of AC issue, and nobody takes care of it!!!! Dear Manager, because of your poor of management we are paying that much money per month!!!! Everytime one person came and said I fixed it, but still does not work!! It’s couple of months that we are complaining about AC issue and still has problem! Dude here is Houston and it’s summer!!!!!!! Our place is warm as hell!!!! THAT IS NOT FAIR DEAR MANAGER!!!Future resident: Please think twice if you want to come to this building!!!
Went on a tour dirty and roaches everywhere, manager just lies like you do not even notice it, also price does not match the value of what you are getting. Place looks really run down, luxury as the advertise lol ok
I have been living in apt 1348 for 3 months, I have spoken many times with the administrator sara so that she can solve the entrance of my visitors. I dont get calls when my apt code is dialed 1348 * I dont know who else to turn to for a solution.

They have the office doors locked. I couldnt complete a scheduled tour of the apartment because they ignored my existence at the door. They saw me trying to open it and didnt bother to acknowledge me. They ignored my phone call too. I stood by the door calling and it just kept ringing. I made eye contact with an employee and she kept walking. What a joke! Dont waste your time.
Very worst management. I am really out of words in where to start with. I am living here for 2.5 years now. Recently how the management react and response to anything issue is worst. There is no water for west community for 9 days straight. I can understand that it is the situation thorough out Houston due to snow storm but all communities near by fixed the issue max by Friday but we were out of water until next Tuesday. There won’t be any communication regarding when it will be restored and if you call the office there won’t be any response. Again after a week, we are out of water from past two days. I can understand the situation of weather the first time but this time it’s ridiculous and again no response from office. I am done with this apartment and I won’t suggest this to anyone. Not only this situation, never management response to your query and maintenance will take days to finish. Never suggest to any friends.
This TangleWood at Voss apartment is worse. It has worse management and worse maintenance team. the head of maintenance just laugh and no work and no clear explanation.However, At the end, the new and polite manager (Ms. Sarah Debenaim) solved all problems I had. She is super fantastic.
When you come here ask for Lauren she has excellent customer service. Builds a relationship with you in a matter of one phone call and continues to build that relationship during the tour of the property. She makes feel like you are already home. she even toured me when it was 5:59 and the hours are said to close at 6:00 pm. She didn’t rush me at all and took her time with me. Answered every question extremely professional. And closed the deal! She definitely blows the competition out of the water.
I have lived here now for 2 months and I completely love it! I’m extremely happy with my two bedroom, from the square footage, layout and location of my new home. I love all of the staff, they are all very knowledgeable and helpful and quick to answer all of my questions and request. Over all very professional staff, clean and welcoming community at a great location and price! I highly recommend this community. 😊
Pathetic management..The west side of the community is without water since last 6 days.Zero communication on the situation adds to the frustration of the residents as many of the residents are families with small kids.Not that we are facing water issues for the first time in this community; but this is by far the worst ( We understand that due to recent weather,some issues were expected)
Pathetic management. They don’t respond to you at all. We have no water for about a week and they haven’t did any thing about it. Can understand that weather was not good. But on Thursday almost every community received water except us. And after that they gave water after 9 days and now again from yesterday we have no water. How could families with kids can survive? Worst management ever.
It is really a big pain living in this community. Every month, they have some problems. We dont have water last 2 days while whole city has the water. In case of emergency, they are not able to fix the pipes in 4 days. They dont understand, how difficult the life is without water, I am sure they will come with another excuse..Update- water is a luxury in this apartment, you feel lucky if you have water available whole week..
Lauren is awesome and goes above and beyond for prospective residents. She not only found me exactly what I wanted but the price and floor plans are great. I can’t wait to make Tanglewood on Voss my new home.
The maintenance people steal stuff when they enter the apartment. Be warned when calling for a maintenance man to fix anything in your apartment. I got so many DVD’s and CD’s stolen. They take DVD’s while leaving the movie covers behind. I would suggest being there when you have service done. It’s so ridiculous. Thieves.
Community does not have water for a week, almost all apartments nearby got water after the storm but these apartments has a pathetic service.

She broke down to us how the process worked, wasn’t overbearing and I did not feel pressured. The property speaks for itself, but the customer service and the overqualified characteristics Lauren has, made this process the easiest process for me. For anyone who chooses to lease with Tanglewood at Voss, ask for Lauren. She will get you right!

Im an actual resident and this place, office staff hide avoid residents problems, and they just throw the ball to corporate, been living here 3 months and they havent even fixed the prior damages and mainteinance required, theres valet trash service, but never provide the trash container required.. they shut water for more than 24 hours with no PRIOR announcement.. DONT MOVE HERE!UPDATE: last night 4/29/21 there was gunshots next door, same thing as last weekend. just contacted the staffi guess the 5 star reviews are family, friends and staff
Toured with a friend last week Angela helped us out. She was so friendly and helpful. She answered all of our questions and made the property sound like such a great place to live. The community was very clean and beautiful. We were definitely impressed. Thank you Angela for doing a great job!
This is one of the expensive apartments in the neighborhood, people move from other apartments to this one with expectation of having a better living. However that is just a façade (similar to The Cecil), in reality the tenants has to go through a lot of problems from starting of their leasing period till the end of it. For last one week the apartments dont have water, management is not ready to give an ETA, people with families and young kids are suffering most. Management offered to use apartments on the other side of the road for showers for 30 mins, when one of my friends reach there the apartment didnt have any hot water, he waited to get the hot water but his 30 mins were over and then his family (having 2 kids 6mnth and 5 yrs) was asked to leave irrespective of the situation. So another bad experience in the name of customer service.A homeless person was dwelling in the hallways during the blackout and he knocked my door for the food, this is scary provided the history of robbery (car theft, bike theft, break-ins) and vandalism (breaking multiple car windshield) and a murder in the apartments.
If you never been to circus before tangelwood at voss would be perfect place to go. Stephanie Dinarte and Sharla Ederington will be leading the show when you move in. Your show will continue with Kristi Kayser when you move out. they will never leave you alone. WORST PLACE EVER. Do yourself a favor and find a better place. my honest advise.
The manager Stephanie and her team of leasing agents are the best! They are very friendly and professional.. I had a very smooth process when moving. I have been here a little over two months now and everything has been great. Maintenance moves very quickly to complete request. They keep the inside of the building very clean and neat. Event nice place to live.
I am in the process of looking for a new apartment and based on your reviews alone, I will not consider this place. Maybe leasing offices should take their tenants serious when it comes to the needs of your customers. WOW!!
Update: the experience is getting worse day by day. During the winter storm this community was out of water for more than 7 days and even after couple of weeks of winter storm, they are turning off the water without informing. Not sure how cheap material was used in this community that leakage is still happening. They dont even bother to give 15 mins time to residents for storing some water for essential needs. Please don’t come to this community. You will regret like anythingI am living here from last 18 months and planned to do a in house transfer from one bedroom to 2 bedroom. I am going through a lot of mental trauma. Initially they changed the apartment just 3 days before the move in stating the current resident is not vacating the apartment. They alloted an another apartment confirming the move in date will be same. Next day they called me and said the new apartment can’t be ready by move in date. I had booked this apartment a month ago. When I told them it is not possible for me to shift the move in date as my wife is 38 weeks pregnant, all they could say is we cant do anything and we will compensate you with $100, which is now changed to ~$400. Earlier I was planning to move over the weeked so that I dont have to take any leave from my office but now the move is on Tuesday. This is really bad management.Please think twice before you plan to choose this apartment

I’ve been staying here for almost 6 months now. And so far so good. It’s a really nice apartment. By the way the property manager ( Stephanie ) is a sweetheart. She’s very helpful, and caring! She’s always willing to help.
I received more help a Tanglewood at Voss than all of the other 7 apartments I have visited this month of January 2020. Other places treated me with a dry sense of their only job was to get me to rent and didnt realize they were really leaving out the professionalism that suppose to go along with the job. I grateful for the direction and help given in my search especially the help and professionalism I received from Julina.
Tanglewood At Voss what can I say? By far the best apartment in the area along the Westheimer Area with several stores and eateries in the nearby area. The leasing staff and management are friendly and courteous. The staff made the move as easy as they could and the maintenance staff is quick to fix. The grounds are well kept.
Wonderful Complex!!!I’m a new resident to Tanglewood! First let me say Stephanie the property manager is wonderful! She made the whole process seamless and a breeze!!! I got to see my new apartment before I moved in! She showed us the app for the maintenance requests if needed and still offer to put anything in for us if needed all we had to do was call the office! The accounting team made an error on my account and property manager Stephanie made a call while we were sitting there and got it resolved!! Her level of customer service is a rarity now days!! The gym, gym bathroom and pool are always clean!! The building always looks new and kept up!! Chen I believe is the head of maintenance and his employee Ramon are both fantastic!!! I put in a request and it was DONE within 24 hours!! They call and make sure it’s okay to enter if your not home and they leave a note that they have been in your apartment if you said it was okay for them to enter without you there!!! It is very clear that this property is in good hands by Stephanie and I plan to stay here as long as this high level of management continues!! Well done Tanglewood team!!
This apartments are the best they have a nice pool and it’s very classy. I came to visit my friend the other day and I loved. I recently spoke to Juliana about the rent rates. But they were a little high. Their leasing team is amazing and the value all the prospects I was so happy to have the tour . Stephanie, the apartment manager was very kind during my stay here!!! She actually cares about the residents and maintains the property beautifully. There were issues but she was always understanding and quick to act. I enjoyed my time under her stewardship before moving to a different property.

My experience here was great I had no problems with the complex or the staff. I recently moved out on time according to my lease only for them to try to pin a broken lease on me 30 days later when my deposit should have been returned. I moved out in August which was the same date on my lease and they are saying I was suppose to move out on October 24th. It makes the situation no better that I can not talk face to face about the sitution because of covid and also because this is hadled through corporate which is richdale corporation. I am still waiting to get this problem fixed.
My wife and I have been living for more than 4 years and we would not move anywhere else because the new administration and Stephanie the manager and the entire office and maintenance team are the best!Everything is clean and beautiful, I highly recommend living here.
Horrible annoying neighbors, I called the management to let them know about situation on the THIRD floor, but they didn’t want to listen to me. They “confused” me with somebody else and hang up the phone on me!! Don’t you dare to answer oh, I am sorry but tangelwood doesn’t know if you’re a resident with us. Those people are very violent and like to get in trouble all the time!! The police keeps coming into the building!! Check your cameras!! Please stay away from this place. I DO NOT recommend it at all.
They don’t care to keep criminals in the building as long as they get money out of them. The POLICE has shown up at my neighbors doors multiple times and the leasing office has done nothing about it. Many people live together in small units. The walls are extremely tiny as well. Horrible place, I can’t wait to finish my lease and move to a safer place where I don’t see the POLICE every other day.
Lived here about a month and had just moved it has been a very nice experience. Juliana has been very helpful from the day one to us very courteous and have excellent follow through to everything particularly impressed with her work warm and professional. Always ask for her if any doubts.Tanglewood Love the space, amenities and neighborhood but most importantly the anemities that are part of the community!Maintenance Team are efficient and do a great job where Juliana and other staff is always there to help regarding everything the apartment and accounting as well That exceeded expectations and truly appreciate their efforts and thoughtfulness.Really happy and content with new home and community.

Love this place! The office staff here are very friendly and helpful. Ive lived here for about a year and Ive had a great experience; Ive had quick maintenance service when I need it and Ive never had issues with neighbors being too loud. The staff keeps the hallways smelling and looking very fresh and clean.Whats really awesome is how beautiful the fixtures are. It has beautiful wood floors, awesome tracking lights, a spacious fridge, and best of all, my personal washer and dryer! My previous apartment didnt have half of those things, so this place is definitely an upgrade for me! The apartment floor plans make it so easy to customize it and make it mine. I have a very spacious living room and closet, which really helps with storage space.The resident lounge is nice and quiet; I can get work done down there with a great view of the pool. Theres even a Starbucks machine--who doesnt love free coffee and hot chocolate?Ive read through most of the bad reviews on here, and you really have to take everything with a grain of salt.

The Location is amazing, and layout of various floor plans is tailored to meet extra space and comfort needs . The leasing office seems to pickup on requests quickly . Stephanie is amazing and very responsive, beside other team members in the office . Maintenance is very responsive, same for environmental services that seem to do a great job in maintaining the property cleanliness and neatness. I like the idea of having a self storage in each floor, it really made life easy .
Please think twice before moving in. There are so many issues in this apartment community. The entire community was without water for a week. It took more than 3 days to repair the water leakage. Routine maintenance takes a lot of time.
This property was fine. Things changed in some way after richdale took over. The property looks nice. Maintenance team did a good job. The staff in the leasing office would smile at you of course. They really make you feel at home, at least in the beginning. When I asked for some issues to be solved, they seemingly try to help, say you will get a call etc. but thats it. no updates afterwards. The problems stayed there until I moved out. I have to mention the corporate office. They would come up with all kinds of excuses to avoid fixing some billing issues. As mentioned by the other tenants, the gate is broken most of the time, resulting in crime activities. Also some rude tenants came in after change of management. I got yelled at many times when I drove very slowly around the corner in the garage. Because they did not expect a car would pass by? I understand people might get scared in the corner. but they blame it on me? What the …! Most of the tenants are nice of course. Use your own judgement before making your decision.
Stay AWAY! If you are about to tour this apartment RUN! before they hook you with their phenomenal discounts, trust me there is a reason for that otherwise no one would rent here. I move in on May 1st 2019 . 5/8 the water was shut off without any prior notice. Later on that same day, my power got shut off for not reason. 5/9, got a water leak all over my closet, bathroom and bedroom. People SMOKE both weed and tobacco on a daily basis and all the smell gets into my unit. Carwash next door turns loud equipment on between 4am-6am. Garbage truck comes at 4:30am making a loud noise. You can hear all the traffic driving through at Voss Rd. You can hear neighbors conversations and fights throw walls that are as thin as paper. There have been break ins into apartments and a vehicle was stolen off the property. Occasionally you can see people on foot waiting for you to open the gate to either get in or get out of the property.

I rented their lounge for a baby shower. I rented the lounge a week in advance and upon arrival i had to clean up the lounge. Some things could not be fully cleaned as i would have needed professional equipment to do so. My bf took pictures of how the room looked upon arrival before the event started. My bf sent a email as well of pictures of how it looked before my guests arrived. I barely wanted to put anything in the disgusting fridge. I cleaned the lounge better than it was when i got there. I get a voicemail stating that i owe $200 which is $50 over the deposit amount agreed on upon me renting their lounge. They even gave me the deposit back and walked in on me cleaning the lounge and even brought over supplies for me to clean. They just want to get money out of you any way that they can. This is not my first experience with Richdale apartments trying to overcharge or throw in some surprise charges. No warning of a price change was given prior to the event as well. They do not care about the lack of documentation for an agreement.
I’ve been enjoying my stay so far! The leasing agents have great customer service, as well as Stephanie (the property manager) every work order I put in it’s been taken care immediately.
I have been a resident about 15 months and have enjoyed my stay. I need to downsize for financial reasons and the Richdale community is making it seamless for me transfer to one of their other properties. Thank you!
Ive lived here for a few years and I havent had any serious issues. However, I must say that Ive seen a lot of improvement in this place since the new management took over. The management team is very courteous and caring, the manager takes her time to listen to complaints/suggestions and genuinely cares; the maintenance guys respond to requests promptly; and most notably, the property has been cleaner.Its been a very positive experience here for me and Id always recommend this property anytime.
This is the second year I am living at this apartment and I will tell people who wants to rent with them “If you have extra time and energy for dealing with drama everyday with the corporate management and office every day, rent an apartment here.”This company has a horrible management and customer service ever. They are not organizing, and they are not doing their job and responsibility on time. They will keep sending random notice to resident and asking for information and they are losing resident confidential information, then they will charge extra fees their resident for missing documents.I gave them my renters insurance information to them at September 2017 when I enter to my apartment and I paid 23 every month for my renter’s insurance. They sent me a notice on July 10th to tell me they don’t have my renter’s insurance information and if don’t give them, I need to pay extra 20 dollars for insurance. I gave them my information and they told me I got that extra charge for June as well because they thought I didn’t have any insurance. Although they waived the July fee for me, I am still supper mad, because if I didn’t give them the insurance information why they remembered after 2 years. If they lost my information why they are charging me? This is the worst customer service and management I saw ever. It sounds like they are stilling money from their resident.Disgusting pool never clean. It is summer and we want to go to the pool but it is so filthy that we can’t. We even sometimes had to try cleaning it ourselves. Even when we tell them no change happens to the pool. Neither my family or I are happy about this. all Hallways always smells so bad and it is never clean. they never give the on time service to their resident. I submitted a request for fixing my dryer, fixing my toilet and bed rooms light 3 days ago and they never showed up. the parking is always unsafe and so much violation is going around that. I am paying almost 1400 box every month to have such a bad service?!!!!
When I moved it, they told me move in special offers but did not apply after moved in. I followed up so many times but no luck.. Apart from that maintenance team is very good, they always come on the time..Edit: if there is any problem, they are not able to resolve, leasing office is totally useless..
The worst place u would ever live in, the management team starting form leasing office up to the corporate office they all unprofessional and I would recommend the owner to change this management immediately couz they have nice properties, nice the new management came in we they start leasing to all people, they place is mess and braking-in to cars and to the apartments ... loud music at night .... bad smells all over, water outage all time and In top of all that u get attitude for team here as we are working for them, they worst team even they are useless and I want actually to add names but I decide not too but the manager and the accounting at corporate office and the leasing ladies they all with bad attitude and worst customer service ever...... I won’t recommend u even to tour in this place as long at Tuscany the management here
The leasing office and maintenance staff has always shown attentiveness and care when handling any resident issue that has come up. There havent been many. I appreciate the concern they show for the happiness and satisfaction of their residents. Thank you.
Weve been living here for almost 2 years and we love this place! I personally cant complain about neither leasing office team nor maintenance guys. Plus, after new management took over the place, Jamie did everything she could figuring out and fixing the big issue with electricity we used to have(we were way overcharged for it), even though the previous management just didnt care. Other than that, I like that the complex is maintained very clean and organized. Neighbors are friendly and quite. Its just a nice place to live in*)Upd. Unfortunately, I have to take off the stars. I leave 2 stars for maintenance guys, who are really great. But I’ve constantly been complaining about loud groups on the pool late night and nothing has happened. NOTHING. I literally can’t sleep at night because of this issue. It’s our third summer here and it’s the first time we have this problem. I’m so frustrated, it’s a nightmare.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I have lived in this building with both Lincoln and Richdale. The complex has gone down immensely since Richdale took over. Crime has risen exponentially. In the last year alone, 2 cars were reportedly stolen from the parking garage, multiple apartment and vehicle break-ins have been reported, and last week someone was shot and killed. They say the gate can only be accessed by residents but it’s broken 80% of the time. Also, the place reeks of weed. Read the lease very closely if you are considering moving here. If I could break my lease, I would. Cannot wait to move out.
I will not renew my lease due to Jaime and the horrible new management they supposedly have got. Under Lincoln management this place was great. Not anymore.
Since the new manager Christina have have started, i see a lot of difference in cleanliness at the property! She is good at resolving the concerns and responding to emails as well.
You really just cant get any better than this!where do i start from?let me tell you i am picky to say the least. i like nice appliances and top of the line gym machines and a clean pool. not much to ask for you might think. but in the galleria and uptown area you can expect to either compromise or be ready to fork over an arm and a leg.That was not the case here my boxes were all checked and at an amazing price. i almost left this past year to look for something bigger. they not only convinced me to stay here, they gave me an amazing deal and made sure i was well taken care of.trash valet is a life saver and they keep the hallways, stairs, elevators and pool super clean.constant renovation is ongoing and we have been getting cool improvements.Every Tuesday we have a different local food truck come and serve some awesome stuff till late.I see myself living here for the foreseeable future and strongly recommend stoping by and checking it out.

I have been living in this place for more than two years now. This apartment complex is situated at a good location. Apartment looks really good from outside. Apartments are very spacious inside as well. Good looking apartments. But I would not recommend staying over here. The walls and floors are very thin. You can hear conversation from the neighboring apartments. I have personally faced issues of stomping noise from the apartment above. This problem has been there since over a year. Have complained almost multiple times every single month for the past 1 year. But there has never been any action taken by the leasing office or management people. In fact there are notes made regarding noise complaints in their system about the apartment above me. But there has been no change and no action taken. They always tell we will give a courtesy call. But no real action. After numerous complains also the management has not taken any action regarding it. Very unhappy with this. Also the maintenance is not good. I had a problem with my micro wave over. It took those guys to 15 days and come and look into the problem. Expected them to leave a note in the apartment of what problem and resolution for it. But there was no note. I had to go to the leasing office to find a resolution. The maintenance people had to be called from the office to find out what the problem is and what needs to be done. They said the microwave oven needs to be replaced. I was told it will take around 15 business days for that to be done. Took 1 month for them to get a new microwave oven and put it in the apartment. The breeze ways/hallways are not maintained and clean. You will find sometimes trash lying in the hallways. The valet trash service, picks up the trash from outside your apartment. But if the trash falls from their trash cart they do not bother to clean it. Lately you can smell marijuana in the hallways as well. Lot of shady people can be seen in the hallways, swimming pool and garage. Do not know if they are resident or not. But not good signs. Disappointment with this apartment complex. Not renewing my lease at this place.
NEGATIVE RATINGI wish google allows me to rate negative five for this dumbster. It’s scary to live there with all criminals, drug abusers and thieves around. Management DO NOT CARE about you. They just acting dumb. Multiple break ins during each month into apartments and cars. They only have cameras in garage but no action in response to such a disaster. They set up the lease contract in a way that even if you had a break in or robbery, you cannot just break the lease. So you’re stuck there living insecure until the end of the lease or you pay them full term to break it which is another kind of theft. Not worth a single penny to pay those awful people. Home never felt like home because of your inconsideration.
Great management I have been looking for apartments for a while now so far I have not seen better than this management I look forward to rent here I love it Stephanie and Juliana helped me to find a perfect home for me
😡🤬😱🧟♀️Most of terrible management service, apartment services, a lot of overcharges !!! guys, even if they offer you 1 month of free accommodation, do not move into this apartment! because then you will have very big problems! you cannot move out of this apartment without any problems, the management does not solve any questions! You need to give a notification in 60 days 😱 everywhere the standard is 30 days, but they don’t! You will still have to pay extra to leave this damned apartment! 🤬😡 in addition, you will not work lift 3 months, everywhere is dirty, cockroaches 🦗🦗🦗Even if you are in a hopeless situation and you urgently need an apartment, do not even think to call here! there are so many apartments with great conditions! When I read reviews about this apartment I did not believe, but do not make my mistakes! ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️They are doesn’t care about you, they are doesn’t care about any documentation, they are doesn’t care about everything 🤬😡🤯☠️ I don’t want to renew my lease with this apartment! But I can’t move out without any extra charges and problems!

I definitely enjoyed my year living here. Never feared for my safety, there’s always parking, and any noise complaints are not their fault and out of their control. Loved living here and sad to go.
I love apartment complex by itself, but the leasing does nothing to keep it nice and quite. It states clearly in the contract that the only place one can smoke is their own balcony. People obviously are smoking weed inside their apartment, so all hallways smell like marijuana. The smell sometimes is so strong, that it stays on your clothes when you get out out from hallway. I dont think that it is expectable. Plus, some neighbors are very noisy and usually nothing is done about them. Moreover, lately, you can meet a lot of shady people inside the complex and you never know if they live here or not. I don’t want to sound paranoid, but it doesn’t feel safe here.
My experience out here with my family has been amazing. We trully love the environment and security it has had lately. Very safe and veryy well taken care of apartments. The Management in the office Stephanie best manager possible to have around. Very friendly, responsible with her job, and keeping her word in always helping you out to feel as if you are at home. Couldnt ask for anyone better and property in my point of view!
DO NOT MOVE HERE. Only reason I’m giving it one star is because I cannot give it 0 stars. This company and apartment complex does not care about it’s resident. I am a currently resident and waiting to get out of lease on March 2019. Recently, had my apartment burglarized and they did nothing about. Door was kicked in and alarm system was snatched out of wall. Two days later and door and alarm still have not been fixed! Expressed concern for safety and told me that I am required to finish out my lease and WILL NOT allow to even transfer to a different apartment in the same building to finish lease. The GATE is ALWAYS broken and any individual can drive into the parking deck. Hints why there are also cars being stolen and vandalized. Old cars that DO NOT WORK sit in parking spots making it difficult for any of your guest to find a decent parking spot. Lastly, anything that breaks often takes weeks for them to order and fix things. Was without living room blinds for a a MONTH. Employees kept giving the same excuse they have ordered them and are waiting on to be shipped.

I Have been living here for about four months. it is located in a great place.however if you get home after 6, there isnt available parking on your floor in the garage unless it is reserved. The walls are ridiculously thin, I have been having issues with my neighbor surround sound system playing throughout the nightsince Ive moved in. Besides the that I dont have any issues.
Since Richdale and Stephanie have taken over the management of the complex, it is the absolute worst service I have ever had. Ive lived here now through 3 management companies over a span of 8 years. When I call or ask for mantainece requests I get empty and broken promises. When my lease is up I will be moving out and feel bad for anyone who decides to live here.Example: The grills at the pool supposedly had parts ordered back in July...here it is December and still NO Grills because the parts are on order. The drive ing gate is almost always open at night and they wonder why they have so many vehicle break ins. We were promised lower rent with new carpet if we renewed our lease. . 2 months into our new lease we still didnt have paper work to sign and once we got it, none of the promises were upheld.
Great apartments. Great staff. Chris went above and beyond in every aspect. Its nice and quiet and the apartments look awesome. Thanks for making Tanglewood a great place to be for so many people.
This place SUCKS!!! Do not move in here. I just moved out and they are keeping my deposit to do a slab treatment for dog damages. I dont even have a dog!!!!!!!!! Whenever I moved in the carpet wasnt new and now I am paying for someone else mess. What a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not safe either. They broke in to my neighbors apartment 3 times!!! I do NOT recommend this place.
Hello, very nice place. but the staff is horrible i made a 9 orders to fix mt AC for more than 10 months, and they dont care about the costumer, the manager called me and told me dont post an ugly order and all of i have written is fix my AC, i ordered a fan online i went to the office to take it they told me we dont have a package after a month they call me and tell me to take my package or they will send it back, i all ready been there twice asking for it . 2 moths for receiving a referral and after a long conversation they deliver me what i deserve . and more issues
Tanglewood at Voss is most of terrible apartments ever !!! They’ll not return your deposit, our lease a ended on May 26, but they are still charging 254$ for the 06/01-06/05 June, for the utilities what we didn’t used!! ! im wondering what a terrible service, management ! People please be careful with this apartment management, because if you will live there you’ll have a lot of extra charges for nothing and problems! Stay away from this apartment!
My friend told me about this place, I came to check it out and to see an apartment it took 45 mins. If they treat you this bad when you come here to check an apartment out then I can’t even fathom how bad they will treat you when you do live here. Continuing my search. NOT GOING TO SIGN UP WITH THIS PLACE. SORRY!
Moved in in February 2017. Nice place, but some amenities that were a selling point for us, do not really exist or are incomplete and weve been here 3 months already with no change. The walls are thin so you hear a lot that can interfere with rest, if the neighbors were unkind, but they arent. The gate breaks a lot, but is repaired immediately. Thats a great thing. All in all the staff are lovely so, I give it a big old 4 stars.
Horrible place. Not safe. A lot of break ins, one break in every 2 months no exaggeration. My place got robbed and I couldn’t break the lease because “break ins are not a sufficient reason to break the lease”. Management is the devil. Yes it has easy access and that’s why we went to that place but it’s not worth it. Management doesn’t take an action to secure the place. One security guard comes for a week after every break in and then you never see him. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Veryyy safee and veryy well taken care of thank you to Stephanie Manager for showing us how wonderful this luxurary apartments are & for also showing how responsible youre about youre job. Very attentive to anything we needed and beeing super friendly to make us feel happy and safe in this community!

Not sure why I give even a 1 star. Awful staff working here, never responsive for any of your needs. The property owners are cheaters, try to deceive you with the security deposit refund. My sincere advice, please never lease in this apartment community.
Office staff hates their job and obviously they dont know what customer service is, Im afraid the leasing girl that sits in the front left desk will have a heart attack on a Monday morning on her way to work.. and I agree with everyone else on the cheap construction, I hear wind blowing through the hallways every single night, and I pray to god every time I drive my car in and out of the parking garage if you know what I mean. Most machines are broken in the fitness center and I dont believe that management ever walks in there to inspect the machines...Theres so much work and attention needed for this complex.... Owners get involved and protect your investment by hiring the right management company to protect your assets before its too late.
Horrible place, Not safe, a lot of break ins.The staffs who work at headquarter in NE are so rude when asked one of rude ladies that we need to be secured at this place she said that if you need to be safe call to police....The most of apartment complexes have security but at this place I see a security once a week after any break ins.I have been in this place for four years the previous owners were good guys and respect to tenants but the new owners and their staffs dont respect to people.I am going to terminate my lease contract with these rude people.No respect to your privacy sometimes they forget to give you notice in advance when they want to do any maintenance services or other reasons.Dont recommend to anyone this place.BE CAREFULLLLLL
This apartment have some of the best floor plans I have seen and used to be really good until Richdale bought the property, Worst management and customer service I’ve ever seen. I lived in this building for almost three years and everything was fine until the property was sold. Gates were left open almost all of the time and especially weekends. We had car robberies almost every month and they did not care. You can smell pot in the hallways. The Two neighbors next to me had leak from the roof during heavy rain and it was poorly fixed, it happened again twice. Water shut off at least three times during the last year and now just after I moved out, my friends said that there were out of water 2 days in row. Then when I asked to renew my lease for 5 months (until my house is ready) they refused and forced me to go into month to month rent to get a whopping $400 extra on one bedroom apartment. Now after moving out I’ve been in contact with them to get my deposit back and can’t get an answer (they never respond to emails) and every time I call I get a new contact information to speak with claiming that they don’t handle deposits and they have a separate department to handle this “which they don’t answer as well”.
The walls are PAPER thin. All it takes is putting your ear to the wall to hear the conversation next to you, or an obnoxious neighbor blasting music at 6am. Or the neighbor above you saying F*** repeatedly as they play their video games day in and day out. Let’s not forget the stomping either, as a regular footstep does not exist here. You hear EVERYTHING. If noise levels are a concern of yours, do not move here.
Worse place ive ever lived. Ive been here for 3 years and everything is getting worse. For starters my fridge doesnt cool but the manager told me that the ther refrigerator is cooling properly at 42 degree farenheit. That is not a safe zone. There are bugs frequently that are huge. I was told I was dirty. I pay a lot of money to live here and Im not happy at all.
This will be my second year living here. My first year here was great, which is why I decided to stay here for a second year. Once we moved in to an upgraded apartment is when everything started to go down hill.First, when we went with one of the staff members to look at an upgraded apartment they gave us a certain price and said that if we put down the deposit it would lock it in, so we put down the deposit. Once we went to sign the lease the rent was all of a sudden $200 dollars more a month then what we were originally told.Second, once we moved into the upgraded apartment, we soon found out that our AC unit was not working properly and we were not getting air flow to our bedroom. At one point our apartment read 96 degrees in the middle of July, and we called the emergency maintenance and we were hung up on. We are now going on 4 months in this apartment and our AC has yet to be fixed.Third, there is no security in this building. The gate is constantly open and there have been an absurd amount of break-ins recently. When speaking with one of the tenants in the building they expressed that their storage unit had been broken into, but yet for some reason the office was unable to release the videos from the garage to see who it was. There are always people who do not live in the building coming in and out of the garage and partying on the roof.I could go on and on about the different things that we have experienced in this apartment in the last few months, and those are just a few. This apartment complex has went downhill and I completely understand why people are constantly moving out of here. It is getting to the point where it is worth the money to pay and break the lease. It is not a safe place to live.

The management office does not help in anything, they try to find a nice answer without solving the problem.I complained more than 6 times for AC.. when its very hot outside, it doesnt get cold and till now nothing changed. Every time they come to my apartment, they just replace the filter.The club room is like a statue, pool table needs new sticks, when I told the management office about that, they said they will replace them in 3 months!!! Of course, I replaced them from my pocket.Also, TV is not working since 2 months, when I told the management about that they replied that they will fix it soon!!!! (soon: maybe next year)I dont recommend this apartments to anybody.. think twice

I’ve lived here for one year today and I definitely recommend this location. I have an updated 1 bedroom, 4th floor. After living in several apartments I’ve learned that issues can happen anywhere you go, but what matters is how management responds and upholds their end of the contract. For example:-I’ve had 2 issues with my A/C unit a few months apart and each time it was repaired (after hours) within an hour of calling maintenance. Jaime, the manager at the time called me the following day to make sure everything was taken care of.-While there is valet trash and each floor has a large garbage chute and a concealed dumpster on the first floor, some residents will still place their garbage right next to chute on the ground. It got a bit excessive and was occurring on each floor, I spoke to Jaimie about it and she was already aware of what was going on. Before the office closed, each chute area was spotless and their were signs posted reminding residents to not place garbage on the ground and we got an email about it.-With more and more delivery apps being developed residents are finding it convenient to give out the codes to the gates which unfortunately creates a safety issue and puts the code in hands of people that don’t live here. In the past year management has changed all of the access codes twice (only accessible on the resident portal) to try to continue to keep access exclusive to residents.I study a lot and utilized the first floor lounge. It feels like a café and has a lot of seating, good lighting & complimentary coffee, tea & hot chocolate, Wifi, with a full kitchen. The gym is in great condition and routinely cleaned. I’ve never had any parking issues, but keep in mind that I follow all of the rules (visible resident tag, and I don’t park in reserved areas). I’ve never seen the gate not in working order.The staff is very nice. Most of my interactions were with the previous manager Jaime and the leasing professional Sarah. Sarah is very kind, answers questions and follows up on what she says she will do. As management was changing there was a bit of confusion with the exact date of my move out but the current management made it a smooth transition.With hundreds of people living together the reality is issues happen, but in my experience over the past year management has always been on top of it. Based on that, I recommend this location to call your next home.
