This place is the worst you love here long enough they will try to charge you over 900 a month for a 501 square foot. Then you move out following there rules then they charge you a fine of 400 and dont send you any information to let you know why then send it to a credit collections. If I could give them a negative star it would be a negative 5. Once spent a week without an A/C in the middle of summer and all I got in the end was we fixed it but we still want the rent in full. Nothing but we are sorry........

It’s a nice place but the maintenance staff is very unprofessional and like to just walk into your apartment without telling you. Moved in and Am very displeased with the apartment cause it was nothing like the good is we where getting. I love the nabiors. But my main thing is these random inspections. I’m sorry but some of us have full time jobs and can’t be there and don’t want you in are apartment with us there due to are animals

I stopped paying rent way back in March at this place due to the lack of maintenance that was needed. The previous management put in their 2 weeks notice and left due to the fact that the people above them did not want to put money into getting anything done. After the freeze, yes the freeze (which happened months ago) my apartment had busted pipes, leaks in the restrooms wall ceiling, back walls (behind the toilet) and also the pipes and sink itself would leak and it wasn’t even from a pipe. The new management, can’t really say anything about them because it seemed as if they didn’t like to do their job so that should tell you a lot. My apartment began to mold in my restroom and kitchen which started attracted little Gnats-like flys. I most definitely wouldn’t even Recommend a homeless person to stay in this filth! & also, the floor plan looked at, wasn’t even floor plan I received!

We have been at these apartments for over a year now, the few issues that weve had have been resolved in a timely manner. The office staff is super polite and always so helpful! Everything is close and pretty calm area in general. Glad we chose this place :)

We lived here for almost two years and loved it. Lauren in the front office did such a good job of taking care of us. I was so sad to leave due to job relocation but I would recommend anyone looking for a great place to live with people that actually care about you to move here.

So I came in as an occupant in June 2020. It’s now October. There are a few things I would like to address.The community is actually pretty great!Just outside the complex is a Kroger, many restaurants, car service shops, bars, all of which are within walking distance of about one or two miles. So if you like going for strolls, there’s a lot to be seen.Maintenance is pretty efficient. They usually got your back on air condition service repairs in a timely fashion and communicate/schedule well.Lots of the neighbors I have seen have all been generally nice.The Landings at Steeplechase are great and have good policy from what I have personally experienced.It’s really what you make it.Solid 4/5.

I lived at the property for 14months in #1108 and I must say its very quiet and nice community to live in. I was a college student at the time and it very close to my school. You cant beat the price for what you get. The staff in the office was very helpful. I did same day move in and the process with the leasing agent there a very smooth. My work orders were always token care of with in a timely manner. No bugs in my unit and they keep the property grounds very clean. Definitely should consider living here if new to area in Jersey Village its right by Jones Rd with a lot of shopping outlets. The only reason I didnt stay was because they didnt have any town homes available for me at that time. Which are also at a very reasonable price.

We’ve had no water for days due to the winter storm that came through. I understand things happen out of there control and I’ve tried to be patient. What I don’t like is that they cannot even be bothered to update there residents on what’s going on?!? It takes seconds to either email or text an update on what the plan is?!? The office says it’s open until 5pm on Sunday. That’s a lie no one has been there all day but the door says there out doing a showing???? All day long????? All I ask is that you take the time to update your residents on the situation!

I’ve been living at this complex for a year now. The new management is amazing also the new maintenance team is awesome. I really like how management communicates with us and let’s us know how they are fixing maintenance problems. I honestly love the fact that due to COVID-19 the complex is still getting things done and taking proper safety precautions to ensure the safety of us and their team. I highly recommend this complex.

Ive lived in many different apartments complexes of the years but none can compete with the level of service that the maintenance team has provided. I would especially like to point out the service manager Mr. Jose, any time Ive encountered this gentleman he has gone over and beyond to make sure that all my questions are answered, also all the service orders I put in are completed in a timely manner. As long as this continues I will stay at this location. This man needs a raise.

Do not rent here this is the worst place I’ve lived!! Office staff are not attentive at all. Having roaches and rat problem they just sprayed foam around my cabinet to keep them out. All of the air vents are COVERED in mold!! I’ve been here for 5 months and am still waiting on the inventory checklist to be completed. There is always cops here and noise complaints I’ve had to call the cops several times and have spoke to the office nothing gets resolved for paying over $1000 a month PLEASE don’t rent here!!!!And no I won’t email you at the email you provided I’ve already done that and nothing gets done I’ve called corporate and still nothing!

I have lived here about 6 months now. When I first got here my unit was a wreck and the original management team did absolutely nothing and then there was Lauren. She swooped right in and had my unit fixed up in less than a week and anything else she says she is going to do for you she actually does it. The property is always clean and this is truly a neighborly community.Also I highly recommend seeking out Louisa for your leasing needs. She will go above and beyond for you.

This is definitely going to be my future home in the upcoming months. Luisa was very friendly, answered all my questions and then some. The townhome and apartments are the perfect size for any new comer wanting to love on their own like myself. Don’t listen to the other reviews. I felt comfortable especially when Luisa made me feel at home while being away from home. 11/10!!

I’ve been residing in this apartment complex for roughly 22 months, and it has been a Well-suited place to live for the actual unit rate. It is as Competitive as other apartments.Usually, a quiet property, its property is well-groomed, some Units are upgraded, maintenance is suitable and efficient, and their fantastic pool site with WIFI availability. Management and leasing staff members provide a warm welcome to the property. Its been my experience they also respond favorably to handling most critical issues, and they dont forget you as a residence.There apartment’s building service app works adequately for paying rent and requesting maintenance repairs or just sending emails out to the office manager for any essential concerns.Tell them Cesar O., Well, I Recommended you to them.

The employees are very polite and professional. The young lady I spoke with ; I believe her name was Denise she was polite, well mannered and knowledgeable. The community there are also easy to talk to. I highly recommend. Apartments are clean, good space for me, smell nice. I know this because u have seen and smelled some bad ones. This property is nothing like the others. Especially the employees are amazing.

Terrible apartment complex. They only care about the money. They clearly do not care about their residents. Can not wait to tell people not to rent from here. Has been problems since day one. And still no one has come out to fix it. Can not wait untill my lease is up to move out wish i wasn’t giving them any money. Maintenance staff came in to my apartment and stole multiple items. When office was made aware of the issue i was constantly told i would receive a follow up call,which no one did. They refused to reply to my emails to confirm conversation had over the phone. My calls were purposely being ignored and only answered when i called from a different number. Not only did they steal my items but when i moved out the sent me to collections without providing me with a proper statement.

We had a really good experience with Louisa from the beginning. She was busy attending another customer and told us that she would be right with us. Once she helped us out she asked us what we were looking for and then showed us the cute townhome/ loft that we fell in love with! The neighborhood was quiet and the apartment building was clean! Louisa was also friendly and made us feel comfortable! And to top it off, the prices are great! If you are looking for a clean, quiet, nice yet affordable place, then this is the place to be!

I live here have not been happy from day 1 . My apartment was not move in ready when I asked about get apartment that was move in ready was told rent would be over $100 more. I needed a roof over my head so I was stuck with what I got. I sign lease saying rent would be 736.00 with pet fee water has trash 776.00 . Well my rent for November was 801.00 and my rent for December is 838.89 . Now how can this be. Was told water and gas went up . Well Im only 1 person did I take more baths . I have yet to use the heater because I have a electric heater. So how did the gas go up that is 62.98 more . A month then what I was told my rent would be. Not happy here. When you talk to management they get attitude. Like it not there probably and tell you need to go on line with your issue. Not happy here at all ☹️😒☹️ never lived where rent changes every month.1- 1-2021I went to the office a week ago to complain about a note on my door that said I owe them 200.00 in 24 hour for a pet fee. While I was there I was telling them about everything that is still wrong with my apartment.I was told they didnt want to hear it. And was told to leave there office I refuse I told them no youre going to hear me out. So the police was called on me. I am now not allowed back in the office.Oh I didnt not own them 200.00 all my pet fees were paid day one I moved here. So if you live here dont go complain to the office they dont want to hear you. I have black mold growing on my bathroom ceiling. There are ants in my kitchen . There a old washing machine on my patio that was here when I moved in . I been here year . When A/C would come on the heater would run at same time my light bill was 150.00 year round for a 1 bedroom. This is the worst place to live cant wait for lease to be up. Never in my life have I had the police called on me. Till now .the police did nothing but told me Im no longer allowed at the office. All my issue have to go straight to corporate. But they never would give me corporate number.

This place is charging way too much for its lack of security and gym. Be sides my brother getting his car broken in to i was robbed at gunpoint and car jacked.. After telling them and showing them the police report they did nothing to boost security.. The gate was not fixed and they didnt even hire steady security. Do not move here if you have any other options.

Having bat issues for over a year continuous complaints have been ignored fighting in running to get in the house after dark and I work night shift so I have to pick my spots to try to run up the stairs to get in..along with the serious health issues that could come from this issue and nothing has even been attempted to be done or taking serious..1 bat got inside the apartment 3 weeks later nothing has been done emailed corporate with no response..5 months after this post nothing has been done after been told to contact them with no response

I do not recommend this place, rude, we have a contract where they offered us a washer and dryer for which we are paying and they have not delivered them, the bathroom overflowed, the air conditioning damaged, we call every day and they do not solve a problem, a short circuit in the room and they havent come to fix it either 03/17/2020, TODAY 03/18/2020 I CALL AGAIN FOR THE AC AND MY WASHER AND DRYER, THEY CAME TO MY PLACE AND BRING THE WASHER AND DRYER, but I arrive at my house, and I go to wash clothes and I find that the door is locked, I finally open it and I see that they did not even deign to connect it, they locked it so that I would not notice it, and THEY DID NOT FIX ME my AC, I DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING ANYONE IN THIS PLACE, not even a star deserves this place

No matter how clean you are, the roaches here are SO BAD! Theres mold in my apartment, and the appliances are old and covered up. I cant tell you how many time my dishwasher has fallen out or just doesnt work, they just temporarily fix it, when it clearly needs to be replaced. The only good thing I can say about this place, is that the property manager, Robert, has been extremely patient and helpful when I needed it. They can only do and approve so much, but he really does try to help.

I wouldnt recommend anyone I care about live here, especially with a family. I moved in on April 16th, did the initial walk‐through, logged the conditions and issues that needed repair: the patio latch wasnt functional (it didnt lock then, and now completely removed, waiting over a month for a new part) and the bathroom faucet constantly dripped, now driving up the water bill. It has been 3.5 months since the staff was made aware of these issues and even after multiple emails, work days taken off and in person visits with the promises these issues would be resolved, I am still left with a dripping faucet and no patio door latch. There have been some break ins and robberies in the last couple of weeks, I am left to wonder if I am next. Frankly, I do not feel safe, cared about or a priority from my apartment complex, and I feel taken advantage and cheated out of a safe living environment.

WARNING! Do NOT move here. False advertisement and they don’t care about the tenants especially if you pay your rent on time. HOA is for an apartment, really...NO. Maintenance takes more than 2 months for repairs, pot holes in parking lot, rude management from the Landmark National Management company. Process improvements should be made instead of creating issues with a nasty attitude. Tenants should not have to supply keys to the office for maintenance to come in and take things from your apartment for repairs, safety checks are not done or corrected when reported. I wouldn’t go to any of the sister properties either unless you don’t want to live your best life. Amenities added to the rent are inconsistent at BEST!

I advised the people of my special condition before I applied. They stated they will work with me and apply. I applied for them to call me back less than 24 hours later to advise me I was denied. They stated I had something on my background from an apartment complex Ive never lived at before in my LIFE! They kept all of my money orders. I feel they did this to pocket my money! BE AWARE!

Overall, my 8 month experience here at the Landings at Steeplechase is satisfactory. The first day that we moved in we went to the laundry machine, the washer took too long and the dryer took up to two hours and did not even dry the clothes. (horrible experience) I have to travel outside my complex to wash/dry clothes which is an inconvenience.PROS:The property is kept well, the office staff (under new management) are very professional, kind, and adhere to the residents concerns. The maintenance staff is very friendly and work very hard I particularly want to recognize DANILO, whom I am deeply grateful to have him around he truly represents sensitive concern of the residents at least that’s my experience with DANILO. To be quite honest this is one of the reasons why I’m still at the property because of DANILO unreserved service and care makes this property a place you want call home. I wish there were 10 more like DANILO at this property. He is a true gentleman, professional and I would like to make sure that the Landings at Steeplechase be aware that the residents here appreciate DANILO and his services. The prices are reasonable for the area; considering the things that this neighborhood has to offer. And the residents are friendly and polite. Parking is not an issue for the residents and visitors.CONS:In my 8 months here I yet have not been able to use the gate codes effectively because it does not work. I would always run into problems when inviting guests over because they couldn’t enter through the main gate. I have reported this with the prior management and the issue still remains. Currently, I am unable to get full use of all the amenities, but I really enjoy the pools. At last the office needs to work on their communication with the residents. I’m hoping with the new management in place this will change for the better.These are just my experience here at The Landings at Steeplechase. You may experience things differently. Be sure to ask many questions when viewing the property.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Horrible place to live. Roaches everywhere for the last month or so, numerous things wrong with my apartment that management does not seem concerned to fix at all, HORRIBLE front office service.I was in there on Saturday afternoon and this young male came in angry because his requests for his apartment were not dealt with for weeks now. FRONT OFFICE WORKER BEGAN TO YELL AT THIS MALE. The young male was highly agitated and the woman up front made things so much worse by yelling at him. Next time he came in to bring his mom to talk to the woman the police were called as she yelled again at him. He stormed out and then she lied about not yelling at him to the police when they arrived. I was so dumbfounded that I left without fixing my issue.The woman that was up there Saturday afternoon is new and is completely unfit for this job. As I was leaving myself I met this young woman who said this new worker has several complaints about her and how she deals with tenants. I’m unsure why the front office has her working there to begin with.I’ve been here for about a year and have never had a problem with the front office until this new person began working here. And it seems like she is always there when I come in now.My lease is up in a few months and I’ll be looking for a new place to live FOR SURE. Again, DO NOT MOVE HERE!

If I could give them no stars I would, I moved in less than 2 weeks ago and my apartment looked horrible, vents and air ducts filled with dust and dirt, smelled like cigarettes and smoke throughout the whole apartment, my cabinets were chewed and scratched up as if the person before me had a dog and just let them go crazy. The blinds were broke and bent, the shower head was rusted, paint chipped on the toilet. Maintenance does not do their correctly or just half fast it. But a work order in TWICE and it is still not done. If I was told earlier I could of turned my keys in within the first 7 days I would of. Had the apartment for nearly 2 weeks and literally did not move none of my stuff or living there, these apartments are bad and would not tell no one to live there.

I’ve been leaving here for about 6 months and I’m very disappointed!! The air conditioning has never been fixed right I’ve called the front office several times I even left messages on the emergency line and nothing!! And when they do fix the ac they only fix it where it’s a little cool n breaks down in 2 days!! Also my cable connection was never ran all the way through to my unit and the same called and left messages even spoke with some of the front office staff and no one moved to help or do their job!! I make sure I pay my rent every single month on time! But I’ll make sure as soon as my lease is over I’m out !! Really bad service!! I strongly don’t recommend this place to live in!!

Do not move into this place. They are a bunch of thieves. They will find a way to fine you even if you’re on month to month (meaning you pay extra just to live there). I finished my lease and it was agreed I would be month to month so I paid extra so I wouldn’t have to be tied to a contract. They care nothing about loyalty and will screw you over. There are better places to live. I was desperate for a home and I got majorly burned by this place.

I moved in about two weeks ago. The unit I moved into was fully upgraded and I was the first to live in the new unit.The only issue thus far is the sprinkler system that waters the mud and sidewalk. I made a couple of complaints and someone from the office (I think Angie) called me back with an update: They have shut the sprinklers off and are looking into elevating the sidewalk so that we dont have to walk in standing water when it rains for a long time.Im so far satisfied and look forward to staying here for awhile.

They deserve less than a star! These are the worst apartments! The staff is rude, unprofessional, and lazy. if you call to ask a question they ALWAYS hang up on you. Not only are they too lazy to answer any questions but they try to find anything to add extra charges on your rent and wont give you an explanation. They will even add charges for things you never approved. The apartment had water damage and we had to move out for almost a week and still had to pay for the full month of rent. The gate is always broken and they pass out the rent bill late and charge you late fees. Dont let the pictures fool you, the apartments look dirty and outdated. They also have a rat problem. My list of negative feed back could keep going but the main point is, DO NOT LIVE HERE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!

This is the worst apartments Ive EVER lived in and these are my reason why:From the time of move in things that were broken:-kitchen cabinets- 4 lights total in bathroom, kitchen, and my patio light- shower curtain rod-towel rodeFire place was extremely dirty-dead roaches in kitchen cabinetsEtc.From my first week until now Ive had pest control here multiple times because this place has roaches!!!!My washer and dryer I pay extra for every month is still broken after giving notice 1 month ago!!!!!!My roof has be damage since hurricane Harvey. Its still has not been fixed. I asked for a specific day so I call out of work they keep saying they dont know when it will be fixed.I wrote a letter and spoke to management twice about not wanting people in my house without a 24-48 hour notice. I CAME HOME TO STRANGE PEOPLE IN MY HOME. The people did not have on a uniform or name badges. My pictures were taken off my wall curtain take down my house was is shambles. I called the front off they told me it was Mistake after I gave 3 noticed I did not want people in my home without notice and me being there. Still didnt happen. IMAGINE coming home to people you dont know in your house. It was Horrible!!!Parking is horrible. There is never anywhere to park. This is a big deal for me. I shouldnt have to park on the street. The gate is always broken which means anyone can come on property. Plus there is NO security.Over all this is a horrible place to rent from. There is no communication with the front office. They rarely answer the phone after calling several times. Needless to say if I could go back I would NEVER have rented from landings at steeplechase!!!!

Tenants who live here do this property a grave disservice. They junk up the property. Vehicles are on property that have not moved in months. No adequate playing are for children. No basketball goal so the children use shopping carts. This post a safety hazard. Pools are not cleaned or open. Gates are constantly broken. When mail is received by office, tenants are not informed. Maintenance staff very responsive.

Rats, Water leaks and broken security gates OH MY! Dont Rent from these people. The entire time Ive been here has been a service request after another. The Security gates since Ive been here have worked 70% of the time. Ive already caught 2 Rats in my apartment alone. Now we have a Water leak above the 2nd bathroom.Pros: Ummm it has a pool and a convenient Store within walking distance?Cons: RATS, Security issues, and lousy maintenance.STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!

I moved in March 2017 and was literarily welcomed by bed bugs. After initial move in inspection, I complained to the Manager and she refused to acknowledge my complaint. I had to bring to live bug for her to accept they had bug in their property. I filled the bedbug request form weekly, but it took until June 2017 to get a treatment. The treatment had no effect, i continued to complain, every week was a new story. Until recently they had to change their pest control company.I also observed the leasing staff and apartment management staff has changed. The new black lady at the front desk is super rude. She has no respect for anyone. I had to make a record of all the insults and invective she showered on me and ordered me to leave her office just because i came to ask for bedbug treatment. Finally i got a schedule and a date for the treatment. I asked for time they will come and the manager told me 11am. The pest control people woke my up by 8am on the day of the treatment and asked why was my house not set for the job, said they will not treat since i was not ready. I begged and ask them to give me some time to get ready since i was scheduled for 11am. Finally he agreed. I have never seen a man as rude as the pest control guy in my entire life. This is super saucy. He finally did the treatment that day. to cut the long story short I still have bugs.Regarding roaches, I have an unprecedented infestation and nothing has been done regarding that, despite all the complaints. I have been able to live here because i treat it myself to be able to sleep. I still need a comprehensive treatment from the apartment management.This apartment is a disaster. The management is not proactive, no security, nothing. What a nightmare!!!

First off they were very nice to me up to the point of when my lease was about to end .I paid it all the way threw the year no problems. I received a notice in the mail saying owed the apartment almost 400. I went up asked what it was for they said it was last of water trash and gas. I went to go get a money order ans handed it to the girl up in the front not having to worry about it going to collections. 2 month later i received a collections notice saying I owed what i paid over 2 moths ago. very upset i go up to the office and ask them why I owe this i paid this over a moth ago. the girl very rude said you never paid this that why you owe it. i informed her yes infact i handed the money order to the girl upfront. also had the receipt to prove it. she said she never had one entered into her system and that im out of luck and need to pay it . I was so upset so i had 400 down the drain because someone lost my money order !! very unprofessional staff the way they handled the situation in the first place . also the young lady in the back office was not only rude to me but other residents as well while i was waiting. there is another way to get people to understand then to talk to them like they are stupid and yell at them!! also they have a flooding issue and roaches to s well !! the kids like to sit on you car to so watch out for that . I recommend no matter how good of a deal or location DO NOT MOVEIN HERE !!!!!!

I recently had some trouble with the apartment complex. I was very upset and took my concerns to them. I received an email almost immediately to address the issues and inform me they were being worked on and a resolution being pursued. Within a couple days My serious concerns were addressed and new policies were put into place to keep the same situation from happening again. They also reimbursed me the money the situation cost me without hesitation. I was not happy to have had a situation, but the efforts taken to resolve the issue were VERY positive and I appreciate that.

I been living here for two years now and never had any problems but last six months is been bad the rats start getting in my apartment i went to the office they fix the hole from the rats were coming in from but the rats made a different hole and last night the were rats everywhere in my apartments have flip my couch upside up to get them to them out... we Pay $6.00 a month for pest control but still we have rats

Viewed these a few months back. I didnt get to rent an apartment here but the staff was super helpful and the models were so cute. Denise took the time to show me different models but my husband surprised me with a house so we didnt rent. But highly recommended Denise and there was another gentleman there I dont remember his name but also nice.

The manager Lola was very helpful and nice when my husband and I spoke with her regarding the property. However among our arrival we were greeted by Arissa or something or the sorts ( not greeted at all more so felt like an inconvenience to her computer game play)...... She was very disinterested in showing us the property its amenities or speaking her property up at all (your job basically).Needless to say we about faced and continued or home search elsewhere. Couldnt tell you if the apartments are nice or not. Not paying to be treated like that!

I have been leaving in this apartment for a year and seen so many people come and go. The new front office staff is rude and does not care about their residents, all they care about is collecting their money. So many things was supposed to be fixed when we first moved in and it never did. There was a death right across my apartment and they did nothing to reassure our safety for my two kids and my grandmother who is handicap. I would never recommend anyone to move into these apartments ever. They are the worst apartments I have ever lived in and I can not wait for my lease to be up, so I can tell them they can stick it where the sun does not shine.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had the rent keeps going up and they have yet to fix anything including the ac I have a 6yr old in the house these people are full of it and even with covid19 & everyone being out of work they were still charging me rent Adding additional fees that or not on my lease when I’ve asked to see my lease even tho I have a copy they couldn’t even send that terrible apartments I can’t wait until my lease is up I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone especially people who have kids !

You are welcomed bed bugs, rats in the walls. The black lady in the office is rude and can careless about anything you tell her about. I had to stop working because I was pregnant I asked about a payment plan because I only had one more month b4 my lease was up I was told no because that’s not what they do . Someone was killed In apartments we where told “it would my patrol officers on night duty. That honestly lasted Maybe 4 days ..I wish I could give this place no stars

Just came back from the office . I told the lady that it was vital for me to print out here documents to help me pay a bill because I’m in between jobs. She prints out 1 of the 8 pages and tells me that the other ones don’t print out, insulting my intelligence I feel like. Last time I needed something printed (8pages) it wasn’t a problem. I have never stayed in an apartment that provides a little office area for u to handle business at but no printer. She was nice enough to point me to a place of business that print for free which is 3 miles away. I have no car and an appointment at 1:30 .. it’s 12:38.. thank u team for making my worst nightmare come true.. I absolutely love that I’m giving the few dollars I have to people like y’all(So what I’m about write about now is 2 days after my original review . I was trying leave another review but apprearantly you can only leave 1 review so I’m adding to my original review) .. I just came out the office to pay my rent... nevermind the details of this situation. It’s just the fact that, legit, every time I go to the office I have a bad experience. The sad part is I feel like this was on purpose. I am aware that office personal knows who leave these reviews giving my full name is actually showing. That leads me to believe that now I am giving a hard time on purpose?!?(not even sure if this a question or statement, if it’s neither then I assume this is just how u operate period?!?!) I hate it because I like the location of these apartments.. the staff is just not what’s up. I’m not saying all the staff is rude.. but u only need one bad apple to make it all go to the waste. Im gonna make this as short as possible. I recommend NEVER moving here. My family and I lived here for a year and it was HORRIBLE. Allow me to make a list:#1. Music almost constantly, ESPECIALLY on weekends when you are trying to relax. I found myself making excuses to stay out of my apartment because I could not relax.#2. Dogs barking constantly and dog sh** EVERYWHERE. its so bad that when you go outside, the lovely aroma of dog sh** hits your nostrils every time you open your door or window. I highly suggest watching your step.#3. The management and the maintenance. The maintenance wont fix your issues and like to just hang out outside. The management, namely Angela, the manager. Angela and her staff REFUSED to help us with any of our problems with noise and neighbors. In the beginning we tried to politely ask 3 of our neighbors to turn down their loud, rumbling music, but refused and started playing their music almost everyday out of spite. one neighbor even had the NERVE to tell US to get earplugs. Management would just say, Well what do you want us to do about it? and would say that they did something, but were obviously lying. They will also tell ALL of your business to the neighbors and flirt with all the men.#4. The washrooms.... words cannot describe how smelly, dirty, trashy, and utterly sickening they were. The washing machines were always broken and even when they were working, your clothes will still stink. I cannot believe they charged $1.50 to wash and dry.They were once even tagged with graffiti.#5. the gates to the community are ALWAYS broken and anyone can walk in. they serve no purpose.#6. People always hang around outside smoking, and sit on the stairs in front of apartments that arent theirs.#7. The water system. The water is often brown when you run it. What an awful surprise it is when youre taking a shower or running a bath and find yourself in brown water!#8. The dumpster is always overflowing and people leave their trash on their front doors.#9. the apartments are in a word; disgusting. They say renovated, but PLEASE. Awful. The ONLY reason we stayed is because we got a brand new apartment that no one ever lived in before us, so it was very clean and had nice upgrades.Unless for some reason you actually like all these terrible things, STAY AWAY! You WILL regret it....Oh and I will also add that now that these apartments recently (maybe around January 2016) changed names (formerly The Reserve at Steeplechase) and claims to be under new management, but it is a lie. i recently called after the claim and asked to speak with Angela (The former manager) and she still works there. Lies. She doesnt do jack for anyone who lives here. Dont believe that false kindness she has, it is only to get you in these apartments. She is actually quite a rude individual.

This place is a ghetto, just hear me out...on 7-6-13, they told me to park my car by my apartment, I didnt need a permit, itll be ok, the next morning I woke up and was having a heart attack, I thought my car was stolen, but no, it was towed, by the apartments towing company, cost me $228.00 and a half hour taxi ride first thing on a Sunday. They arent in the office when they are suppose to be, the air conditioners are old and need replaced, there is mold and cockroaches in all the buildings, they DO NOT clean the pools properly, they took the place where the kids use to play, and put up a dog park, now it smells horrible, they took 4 soda machines that use to be throughout the development and now theres only one up front and one right behind the front in a laundry area, for $2.00, the street access gates are all welded shut except the front two, and Im sure thats for appearance for the next sucker... I mean applicants. The hot water boiler messes up 4-7 times a year, when it does expect some rancid water, theres a boggy area in the back caused by malfunctioning sprinkler system, my children and wife have fallen on the algae covered concrete thats next to it, people dont pick up after their dogs when they walk them, and they let the dumpsters go for a week before dumping, that can smell. They had an outbreak of fleas a little while back, and they waited 3 weeks before addressing the issue, they where too busy remodeling their front fancy fake offices. And if your 1 day late on your rent, theyll give you an eviction notice. The gates dont work like they should, so anyone can come in, they had like 3 or more cars have the tires stolen and trucks left on blocks earlier this year, never found out who did it, even though the thieves used the same stuff the landscapers where using. The other ghetto from across the street is always leaving grocery carts pile up along the road out behind these apartments and they frequently jump the fence to come in late at night and party around the pools after hours. oh yeah, and I had a $189 bike stole from right outside my front door (11/7/12) while I was sitting right by the front door on the inside.Update. 9-2-13, they towed my car again, I was in a legal parking spot and everything. Called the tow company, the driver that towed my car, doesnt even have a license, the complaint # on the ticket, it a phone sex number and the person who authorized my car to be towed (@3:30am) doesnt even exist. FRAUD. and the women in the front said that its not their problem. LOL.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! This place was a disaster from day 1!!! From getting told the WRONG rent amount @ the time of the showing & deposit. The assistant manager had NO idea I was even approved, upon move in & seeing that I was moving from another state, that was no good. There are several things that have been needing to be fixed since Day 1, & now, 3 months later, still NOTHING has been fixed. There are roaches even coming out of the drains. To top it all off, I received a concession upon move in & it was never put into the computer, so Ive been paying higher rent. Also, last month I was charged a late fee because yes I was late, but if the concession were to have been put into the computer, ***LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO***, I would of had the rent & it would of never been late. I wish, hope & pray everyday, I could get out of this place. I am new to Houston & this place has just about ruined it for me!!!

Where do I start? This apartment complex is infested with ROACHES and BUGS . You call the exterminator and the roaches will be back within a few days. There is a high pitch noise from the complex that makes it hard for me to stay asleep. The laundry room smells like mildew and death and most of the time the washer & dryer machines don’t work. Alot of things in the apartment are made/fixed to break again...For example I hung one body towel on my towel bar In the restroom and the bar fell off of the wall along with the supports. Management is always changing, every time I go to the front office I see new faces. They advertised a business center but you can’t print ? OK . A few of my friends went without hot water for DAYS. Five of my friends and I who live in this complex will not stay here again once our leases are up. Only reason why you see some good reviews is because the staff paid tenants to post .If I could give zero stars I would.

Every since day one the young lady samirahas been very rude I really think she over charged me for this apt she charged me 400. 00 don’t know wher that money went too now my apt is a one bed room this is not an upgraded apt just because they paint the cabinet and put new handles on the cabinets doesn’t mean there is an upgrade nothing in my apt matches and I am infested with rats I have told the office again and again for 4 werks now of the complaints I have and the office just doesn’t seem to care I was told to stress my concerns to Nicole and I have and I still do not have these issues resolved I even went as far as say that I wa going to the health dept and all she said was ok now supposedly they sent one of the maintainer worker to fix this issue the younger Caucasian guy with long hair he did not fix anything but he got paid now that show how much integrity this property has I just don’t know why I am paying 805.00 for rent and sewer and pest control when everyone else pays less than me and they have the same as me I thinks I should pay 700.00 like the rest of my neighbor especially if I do not have an upgrade apt and I have electrical issues pest issues the laundry room machines do not work it stink like dead animal the trash is always over flowed and I went to the pool and it gave me a rash gosh what am I to do if the office does not care about the tenants I don’t want to break my lease I really don’t want to move but I had no choicest

I have been here for 5 months. My rent is never what they say it would be. I am still waiting on maintance to come look at pretty much everything. They moved me into an apartment that wasnt fully fixed up. Management is horrible. They are rude as well. I wish I could just cut my lease because I fear for my safety in this house and apartment complex.
