06/23/2021Pros ->These apartments are decent and spacious. The maintenance guys are kind, always on time, & are quick when doing their job. Thank you! You rarely see bugs or critters on the inside. They have free covered parking. & the best part is that it’s quiet.Cons -> The office staff isn’t friendly at all. Michael is the only helpful staff member. The quality of the gym equipment could be better (some equipment is broken, TVs aren’t on) and the pool has been closed since I’ve moved here. You would think they would do something about this since we are PAYING for it. The gate is always wide open so anyone can walk into these apartments. One of the other residents told me about mold growing in their apt & now Im having the same issue. Only thing maintenance did was paint over it.Overall I have enjoyed my stay here, but those cons should be taken seriously.
My roommate and I are military members and college students, and we lived at Vie for 2 years (2019-2021). We were originally attracted to Vie due to its pricing and website. Overall, I believe the quality is pretty good and about as expected for what you are paying. They were extremely accommodating meeting our desired move in date and were pretty quick/responsive to email (although sometimes I had trouble reaching them by phone). The apartment conditions upon moving in were good. When we put in service requests to have a dryer replaced or damage repaired, they were addressed within in a timely manner (within a few days at most). Sometimes the water pressure gets low, but generally we have had very few issues. We never had any roaches, but we did live on the second floor for what thats worth. One time we had ants, but an exterminator came and they were gone in a few days.I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of some mildly sketchy repairs that occurred in my bathroom, and due to the security of the complex. As could maybe be expected given the area, there were several times cars were broken into (the security booth is usually only manned Friday/Saturday nights here, and pretty much anybody can get in the gate). But my roommate and I never experienced any issue with that. You shouldnt be leaving valuables in your car over night anyway. As for the bathroom repair, twice we had a leak from the apartment above us, which was repaired promptly. BUT the repair consisted of stopping the leak and then spray painting over the water stain/affected dry wall with water proof paint. Not sure how bad that is, and I never saw any negative effects from it, but it does lead to some mild mold concerns.Overall, I would recommend Vie to anybody looking for a decent quality apartment on a budget. Generally, our experience was you are getting what you pay for.
Vie At The Medical Center has wonderful apartments, some of them even have fireplaces, as far as roaches go...if you simply sign up for the pest control once every two weeks anything that was there before your move-in date will quickly leave so it is your choice if you get an infestation or not. This being said, the management team is awful the only helpful person that works there is Micheal and he’s only one person! For the most part do not expect for your phone calls to be answered or your voicemails to be responded to, when you call to ask questions you will get different answers depending on who is working that day. People have a lot of complaints about the gates not working as well as packages being lost, I’m pretty sure delivery drivers are just fed up with this place so they leave your packages out.The location is great, the actual infrastructure gets the job done, but I’ve been trying to get upper management to call me back since I moved in over a year ago. #Michelle😤.My advice is to only sign a short lease so you can see if this place works for you. Also make sure when you view the apartment to make a list of the things you wanted adjusted and make sure they fix them before you sign a lease, I made the mistake of giving them my list and then signing the lease and many items on this list still have never been addressed. Once they have your signature on the legally binding contract they do not care about you anymore. The only person you have left to advocate for you is Michael!#ThankYouMichael #MichellePleaseCallMeBackFinally
I moved in March of this year from Atlanta and I have seen a lot of negative review on here recently so I wanted to share my experience. When I moved in there were car break ins and the management notified us this happened, while it was not something great I am not sure what else they are supposed to do. My sister lives here in Houston in the Galleria area and pays way more than I do and has had the same issues as well as more. I would love to see more guards but I think things happen. Since I moved in I havent had any issues at all, my apartment was clean and my moving truck was actually delayed the day I moved in and Michael in the office was very accommodating with my schedule which I found great. I work in the medical center so looking at apartments from Atlanta at the time was nerve racking but the prices were all over the place. My sister was helping me here and she found this for me. For the price I think its a great apartment and the management have all been very friendly to me. I would recommend here for the location and the price. I cannot speak for any of the other reviews only for my experience but it has been great.
For the price point, the Vie is a great place to live. The apartment is beautiful and the staff is nice and welcoming, especially Taylor(she has been a great help from the applying to actually moving in). Anytime I have an issue, they are quick to respond. Definitely recommend.
Stepdaughters lives here pretty nice place!!♥
These location and price point are great! The staff is very friendly and professional. I spoke with Taylor in the front office and she was extremely helpful in taking care of maintenance request! Overall my experience has been a good one!
My boyfriend and I recently submitted an application to live here. We spoke to Micheal Mallonee over the phone about 3-4 times and he was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. When we were inquiring about the application process instead of answering our questions he proceeded to ask us personal questions that had nothing to do with living there. Questions that inquired about our finances like who’s paying for what. My boyfriend tired to explain he lives out of town and we were not getting the place together (both names on the lease) as two African American professionals we felt he was rude and discriminatory. He had a very bad attitude and basically called us liars. It was clear that he was not interested in leasing either one of us an apartment. We already paid an $100 application fee which was a waste of time and money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND living here..If this is how they treat potential residents I couldn’t imagine signing a 15 month lease with these people. We are extremely disappointed and will continue looking for another apartment. I wish I would have read more google reviews before even dealing with these apartments.
I love living in this awesome place. The staff are very professional and always on top of their game. The maintenance are very quick to respond. Over all this place is great! I can see myself living here for a long time.
There are so many cars that constantly get broken into. Management does.not.care. Theyre there for a check. The manager told me that there has been break-ins all weekend yet he never notified his residents to be on the look out for any suspicious activity. Rent is due in a couple of days and people are spending money getting their car windows replaced and the manager has not offered any condolences or even tried to work with residents. Besides the lack of security. I have mold in my ceiling that I reported twice and they paint over it every time. I really liked it here I even told my classmates about it, but after the numerous car break ins and the lack of security patrolling the property, when my lease is up I will be leaving and NOT looking back. They never really answer the phone, I have to call over and over again. Theyre never in the office. Compared to the service and amenities, theyre VERY over priced.
Taylor at the Vie is the best apartment attendant. Whatever needs to be done she will do it for the residents that live there. She is a good employee for this apartment complex. Very thankful for her!
Wowwwww these reviews are really bad. I was just about to do an app but I guess I’ll pass.
I moved in about two weeks ago. Love the community however I will say that I do feel as if I was misled when I actually moved into the place. The model that they show you it’s not the actual unit. Which was communicated to me and that wasn’t a problem however, once I seen the actual unit after signing my lease and moving in; I was highly disappointed. Many things were broken the carpet in my second bedroom is still stained badly with red glitter paint and the vinyl flooring throughout the whole place is consistently lifting causing me to tripping over it. There were many thing severely wrong that I will not mention in this post however the two things that are still not repaired I did mention in this post. When you see a model your expectations is at least for it to be nearly as great but when you actually move into your unit and it’s not even 75% of what you expected then you begin to feel misled. This is the reason for my three star review. Certain individuals seemed as if they had a bit of an attitude. There was one lady who was very nice and seemed very concerned compared to the others. So my advice is to double check the unit before you say it’s ready. The individual who was very nice agreed that the condition was unacceptable. Other than that for the other items that I reported to be broken maintenance did repair right away.
I really liked this apartment when I moved in. The place is pretty nice and all of the staff was friendly. I’ve lived here 7 months and don’t plan to renew my lease. Unfortunately, we’ve had a bad roach problem in my apartment and I hate roaches so I’ve done everything in my power to keep it clean and spray for them but I’m seeing them all the time. Also, I submitted a maintenance request for a window that leaks whenever it rains and have heard nothing back for 2 weeks. It’s not the worst of apartments but I personally do not enjoy living here.
I have been here for a year and I can say that they are great. The location is perfect, the staff are professional and handle the needs of their tenants in a timely manner.
Taylor Jacobs was personable, professional, and had me excited about resigning my lease at the Vie! Great customer service.
This place seems nice but in reality it’s awful. The management is unresponsive and many of the employees are rude. It has many roaches (I am very cleanly person and take the trash out every night). My AC broke the first few weeks of living here and it took 3 days from them to fix it in August and it was so hot! I had to stay with family. Hot water has been turned off due to pipe issues 5 times since January. On top of that car break-ins are a constant. Overall this place is horrible and I do not recommend.
Put the Gate code in and enter😀❤️
I’ve recently moved into the Vie and my experience had been very satisfied. The leasing team, Adrian and Neomi has been very professional and knowledgeable about providing their services. I’m very pleased and excited with my new home. The maintenance staff has vastly completed my service request. I’m excited about the direction this Management is going and I plan to support and critique as needed. I’m glad to call this my new home 🏡.
The location is not that bad, but both customer service and management are HORRIBLE!!!! I have lived in other apartments before and other places do treat you, the valued customer much better than here! During my stay here, there were multiple occasions the sink broke down, the water pipe broke, the parking light was not on at night, and etcs. Two months prior to my lease ended, I reached out to management multiple times and no one answered, and little did I know they changed phone number and email in which werent updated anywhere I could reach other than on a piece of paper on the entrance door at the office. A few weeks before leaving, I had called to ask about my last rent and was informed by an associate (whom, unfortunately, I cant recall the name) that they will send the last bill to my new residence address, and that I could pay online or they could deduct from my deposit. You know what, five days before leaving, they sent us a letter demanding payment which left me confused, so I went to the office to ask. I had NEVER MISSED a payment, but the associated was REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. GOOD LUCK reaching for help or anyone to address your issues at this place because most of the time, you will have to reach the emergency line to get service. This place is A DISAPPOINTMENT!
Lost a customer due to scheduling issues. Made an appointment via the website for a Sunday afternoon and got an email confirmation. But the office hours say they’re closed on Sundays. Main office blamed me for the issue and said I shouldn’t have been able to do that.
We just moved in these apartments and so far we love it! The grounds are nicely kept, the facilities are nice, and the process was really easy. Taylor helped us with every step of the process, and she was amazing. I would definitely recommend this complex.
Listen they are scammers getting some one to lie and say that people are moving and people love it there. They alienate there grest tenants and there stuck with the ones who have no choice but be there. look around the Vie at the medical center for the vacant apartment before you sign the lease there already two on the second floor of building 4 on the same side. And if you have to move in make sure it is dirt cheap. Make sure you see your apartment before you give them any money. And after the first 15month lease make sure you have another apartment in mind because the rent will go sky high.
Lived here for one year. Apartments are nice and spacious but apart from the maintenance team, especially Osman, the property managememt team is pathetic. Their new manager Jason may be their only hope at this time desperately trying to fix all their problems with tenant issues. They do not respond to tenant issues in a timely manner and have to constantly call to get anything done. Frequent staff turnover so nobody seems to know whats going on and they conveniently blame any misinformation provided to previous employees. Moved out since mid June (2 months ago) and still waiting for the refund my security deposit which they claimed have mailed to me with exorbitant deductions! After a number of phonecalls they now ask me to go sign for a replacememt check...they dont have a clue about customer service! Not very safe as cars have been broken in and loud neighbors at night...if you dont need to be near the medical centre look elsewhere for better managed properties.
★★★ 3 year Resident Renewing Lease:My car has been broken into twice in early 2020, renters and car insurance covering most. Informed management but did not hear anything else as a result. Cameras are limited in the parking lot.Since the pandemic the only noticeable change beyond the long duration of missing amenities, including the pool in the summer of 2021, is the slowness and quality of work from maintenance. I dont see the old guy around any more and it seems the new guy is much busier. Response times are typically more than a week out and weve currently been without a washer for a month. When the old guy was unable to re-adhere our vinyl wood floors the solution was to tape it down. Our floor has been taped for 1.5 years now.Price, location, and floorplans are still good. Vie can still be a good choice if youre willing to overlook a supportive admin and slow maintenance requests.---★★★★ 1 Year Resident renewing lease: Initial Process and employees are not that helpful, besides maintenance requests interacting with the office is not easy. Quality of place is good, location is good. Occasional security issues (few a year, typically no security guard) most crime involves cars being broken into (not ours) Rent went up $50 in a year (5%). Clear areas of improvement but one of the best we looked at, still happy but might look again next year. Plenty of Parking, reserved spots available. In unit laundry, community gym (small 1-3 people at time) and pool.
I’m currently living here so far it has been the best. No issues if I need repairs there pretty good at getting things done at a manner time not much noise always peaceful.
Do Not Move in They are scammers Even in covid 19! I moved in April 2019 they charged me 800 deposit because i only had 2 years of rental history which I paid because i also had a history of leaving a clean apartment and always getting my full deposit back. I never got my full deposit back they charge me 300 for paint. She told me she couldnt do a touch up she had to repaint the whole apartment. That is nasty to just do touch ups during covid 19. 100 dollars for move out fee and ect. My 800 went to The Vie only owing me 200 dollars. That Active Building mobile app is a scam and rip off charging you over 10 dollars to pay rent. I once paid 36 fee to pay my rent. The floors are stickers not REAL WOOD my apartment had no carpet which the Vie failed to tell me there were apartments with carpet in the rooms. My feet constantly hurt because i was really walking on concrete with stickers on it. When i moved in my the second bathroom didnt have a door the first inconvenience i had but not the last. They installed this unfinished door that did not match and was dirty looking. My mom ended up just cleaning it.Safety: The crime rate there is high. The leasing lady lied to me and said if i parked in the front and didnt leave things in my car that i would be ok. Wrong I lived in the front and most of the car were broken into in the front. My neighbor had his trunk broken into. Someone reversed in my parking spot to steal something out my neighbors trunk. I had one of the cameras face the outside in a window because the vie at the medical center refused to let people see who or how there stuff was broken into. Most my neighbors would ask us for the recordings. You had to pay 35 dollars to have permanent parking space and your stuff still wasnt safe. Also a lady was yelling and screaming because her car was being stolen in front of her. There was always some criminal activity and they really did nothing. Just send out emails about what was happening. I dont think the cameras work. You dont get what you pay for:I had to pay for the card key to get into the apartment. It cost me 75 for 2 One never worked and they just kept resetting and giving me a new card. All to find out that if you press 8300 you can get in the gate. All the times i worked out after hours i was not able to change the channel and the restrooms where locked. My AC never worked. It took them over 6 times to come and look at my AC. By the 7th time they figured i needed a new ac. That was after the ac flooded the walls of the master bedroom. When i called after hours they told me to wait till the morning. I had to choose between running the air or flooding the wall and floor. When they finally replaced my unit they put a window unit in that flooded my daughter room because the man didnt place it in the window right.Speaking of flooding. The first month i lived in the apartment my kitchen sink kept backed up i couldnt use my sinks for days at a time. Several different times in the 15 months i lived there my sink would clog. Then the sink would flood the floors all the way to the living room i would have to move furniture around and wait days for them to do anything. The day i moved in the my light switch stop working to my 2nd bedroom closet the man by passed it and changed the light so that you just pull the string leaving the electric caped off Smh. Packages was a whole thing :My packages kept getting stolen or lost. I mostly ordered from Amazon. Once the delivery guy took a picture of it in the Elle security booth and when i went to get it it wasnt there. Complaints fell on deaf ears so i just shipped it to a locker or my Fiances family house.Vie at the medical center is like there step child:Vie got one maintenance man. They were more concerned with people locking their bikes on the stairs then the safety of the residents. They charged for everything. I had more maintenance issues in 15months than 2 years at a more run down apartment. VIE had huge COCKROACHES and only sprayed when you called unlike previous apartments that spray every month
Staff in office is very good, my family is here for my son treatment. Mr. Jason always takes times to speak to me and my family when we see him and he walked with our son last month after his surgery and the doctor asked him to walk. mr osmen helps whenever we need it and just fixed the drier. We are very happy here with our apartment and will be here a long time. Thank you mr jason and mr osmen.
****Update: The poor excuse for a manager called today and is now saying he doesn’t have the authority to issue a refund. When I asked for corporate’s number he mentioned they were aware of the situation because they had seen my review! Apparently Jason has seen it too which caused him to have a change of heart regarding the refund. Wow. I’m floored by this whole thing. If I could leave 0 stars, I certainly would. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. To make an extremely long story short, I moved to Houston from TampaFlorida at the end of June. After doing a self guided tour and falling in love with the model, I moved in on July 1st. To my surprise, not only was the the unit was a completely different floor plan than the one I was shown, but also, the unit was filthy and in bad condition. I immediately went to the leasing office and spoke with Michael (who had been helpful up to that point) and was told that the floor plan I was shown would not be available until September/October.. then he went on to say “Well obviously we haven’t done anything with your money yet”... which was obvious since I had just handed it to him literally 5 minutes prior. Realizing it wasn’t his fault, I calmed down, expressed my disappointment and asked that he have the property call me the next day. I sent michael an email outlining several things that stuck out to me: The unit was not cleaned, the carpets smelled like they had been cleaned with pneumonia, the paint on the bathroom sinks had several chips, the cabinets and wood flooring also had chips and cracks in them, both mirrors in both bathrooms had large black stains and there were SEVERAL ROACHES!!!!!!!Next day comes... no call from the poor excuse for a manager, Jason. After 2 days of me calling to the leasing office asking to speak with him, he sends me an email stating that he was told I wanted to discuss somethings with him. After I got off work we spoke on the phone and I had to explain everything over to him because Michael never forwarded the email and Jason never thought to ask what my issues were before getting on the phone with me. He blamed the poor conditions of the unit and the lack of follow up on COVID and social distancing which made no sense. One person could have walked the unit and seen what needed to be fixed prior to me picking up the keys. I forwarded him the email and gave him a chance to read it. In the email I told him that I had to purchase a storage unit to hold my stuff because I refused to move my things into an apartment that was not ready and that was roach infested. He called back and offered a “solution”. He promised to have everything fixed, replaced, cleaned and sprayed with in a week. He also stated that if after the changes were made, if I wasn’t satisfied still that he would void my lease and give me a refund. 2 weeks into it, I had not heard anything from him. So I reached out and asked the status of the apartment. He stated that everything had been taken care of except the mirrors because they had to be ordered. As of today, the 22nd of July, the only thing that was taken care of was the resurfacing of the bathroom sinks. The unit still has not been cleaned and the mirrors have not been replaced. HOWEVER, it does look like they attempted to replace it a couple of days ago but, The attempt did not go so well as evidenced by the broken glass everywhere (which I cut my foot on btw) and black glue/tar all over the walls and the carpet! Lol these people are super incompetent! Now the carpet will need to be cleaned and the wall will need to be repainted. Jason has not followed up with me at all during this process without me reaching out to him first. He lacks BASIC customer service skills and empathy for people.Save yourself the headache. Move somewhere else!
I have been a resident for just under 2 months and I have had a mostly positive experience at this point, certainly one of the best renting experiences I have had so far.The staff is very friendly and - more importantly - very responsive. Any call or online message sent has been responded to within the same day.The apartment is pretty nice - not completely new, but nicely renovated. I love the layout, and I am on the third floor so I have vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. The only downside to the third floor is no elevator and the water pressure is slightly low.The first night we moved in we saw one cockroach on our bedroom wall and we were terrified that we had just moved into an infestation, but we have not seen any since (thank goodness!)We got a great move in special and the price we pay seems to be great for the quality after apartment searching for several months. My husband takes the shuttle to the medical center every day and it is great because it only stops at 3 apartments so it makes for a short commute. We have never had an issue with finding parking - not even one day.Overall, a pretty quiet, mostly clean, little community. Im definitely glad we decided to rent here.
It’s a cool place to live in general. I lived at Vie for 2 years and I like my apartment’s layout and those facilities around. The only unpleasant thing happened during my stay was that my car was once broken into. It would be great if there were a security at the gate meanwhile handling parcels.
BEWARE!!!! This place is dangerous. Someone broke into 23 cars last night!!! TWENTY-THREE. There’s absolutely no security. I struggle to understand why there is minimal security at Vie, and the sister property “Elle” has 24 hour security and is guarded by huge iron gates. I’m so upset by the lack of concern and safety Vie has for its residents.UPDATE: May 21,2019. There were two robberies that occurred on the premises. After constant complaints to the the front office about hiring security after the car break-ins, nothing was done. As a result, two people were robbed. They do not care about our safety. This never occurs at ELLE.
I have currently been a resident now 3yrs at the Vie. I love living here it is a great location for a reasonable price and my apartment is nicely renovated with hard wood floors. Before moving here I read the reviews and got a bit worried but still gave it a shot and Im glad I did. I can say I am completely satisfied with all staff which are very friendly and provide great customer service, Milton handles all my work orders in a timely manner and is very helpful. Serena always makes a way to better help me I can say I would Recommend anyone that needs a place to live I never had a complaint.
Do not move here!! My daughter currently stays at Vie at Medical Center. Her car was broken into and her things were taken. She told me yesterday that there were two robberies that occurred on the premises. They still refuse to hire security. They are not going to be satisfied until someone gets murdered in that complex. Do not let your child move into these apartments.
Ive lived here a year, overall very good experience. Love the office staff always helpful. Here is my complaint, I have assigned parking, someone has parked in my spot 4 (FOUR) times. Each time I have called the wrecker thats posted at the gate JR TOWING they refuse to come out. I have called the answering service and requested a return call from the courtesy officer but no one ever responds. So if you move over here dont pay for an assigned parking spot, NO ONE WILL TOW YOUR CAR EVEN IF YOUR ILLEGALLY PARKED. Im Calling tomorrow to Austin and report the sorry tow truck owner and Im calling the corporate office as well. With that being said other than the car issue its been a great place to live. NO BED BUGS, NO ROACHES. Very quiet property.
Do not rent here – you WILL REGRET IT! Don’t fall for their “special off” move ins! I’ve been waiting months for maintenance to fix repairs in our apartment. You get the run around from clueless to downright lying staff and management - I even called their corporate office in Dallas to no avail. These people just don’t care. Once your lease is signed they just want your rent money! They also don’t take care of the property as you can see in the pics, the carports get damaged and never fixed, the trash gets over loaded and they don’t even have them fenced in so you get a great trash view as soon as you drive into the property. Honestly with all the fees they charge us (3 administration fees – one for each utility – per month!) you would think they could spend a couple of hundred to have a simple wooden gate put in front of the dumpsters…or to power wash the stairs and sidewalks which are so dirty they look like crime scenes. Speaking of crime…there was just a parking lot robbery last week where a female was held up at gun point and every month there is a break in (kicking in their weakly supported doors). It doesn’t help that the in and out drive in gates are broken almost daily. It’s very rare that I actually have to use my access card to drive in. So, no I would not recommend this complex– I’m counting down the days until my lease is up!
I love my apartment!!! Mr Shawn made my move-in super easy at a great rate. I relocated and my apartment was exactly how he described it. Shout out to Ms Rhonda for helping me with my online payment setup also! Not sure about the old reviews but Im here now and its moving in a great direction! Thanks Team Vie At Medical Center!
I visited the property on yesterday and was really impressed. The guy that gave the tour was amazing and the apartment was really nice. I didnt see any of the things that other people mentioned in their reviews. I am really considering moving there. The only thing I didnt like is that the w/d is on the balcony.
Had an amazing experience applying and the leasing process was made effortless. Taylor was such a big help and I can’t wait to live here for the upcoming year!
Great place to live
Ive lived in El Mundo Park for about a year now. Initially I loved it! It was quiet, peaceful and located near the Medical Center, where I work. Their response to maintenance requests was slower than I preferred but they always came through. My apartment robbed in May and I was told that they would work with me and put me in another apartment but I could not move, as I was in a lease. This, in my opinion, was fair as break ins can happen anywhere. I was fine with remaining on property but moving closer to the front of the complex. The leasing agent gave me an apartment number and move in date. I began making preparations for my move and called to confirm details with the office and was informed that I would have to pay an additional $200/month if I wanted to take the new apartment. After calling several times, leaving several messages without any returned calls I called corporate, who was not any help. In addition to this, I received the run around about getting a new door panel and having an additional lock placed on my door. In the midst of all of this, my a/c broke and it took them 5 days to repair it. Their response to me was “It’s a communication error.” I was informed that the maintenance man, who is very sweet, does not speak English and the leasing agent does not speak Spanish. After all of that, I finally decided to give my 60 day notice and am happily moving. There has been one other break in on property since mine. The most difficult part of having my apartment broken into and all of my electronics and valuables stolen was dealing with the El Mundo Park staff.Oh, and I almost forgot that they have updated the website, however it looks nothing like the actual complex does. Please take the time to drive by the property to see what you are actually leasing, as it is not what it appears to be online.UPDATE! There have now been 6 break ins since mine. The most recent one was yesterday (7/22/14) between 7:30 and 2:10pm per the correspondence sent out yesterday.
It must be ZERO star . VERY POOR MANAGEMENT ! You will lose your money If you are not amarican citizen do not wast your time to go there. Absolutely, the WORST manger I have ever dealt with. The manger acts so bad to me. I applied to get apartment and I submitted all my documents with last two bank statements which are Bank of America and chase bank and they have more than 10,000 dollars each bank. They lost my bank statement of chase bank on my file and showed me only my statement of Bank of America. My credit score over 750 and I have no crime. Pay on time last place that I have lived since 2015 .I payed them 185$ application fees. After more than 10 days they asked me to submit last tax return. I talked to the manager there I am not American and I do not have tax return . She acted me so bad even she did not like to talk to me. I told her I will pay extra one month deposit witch is 1,176 $ but She rejected my application and she took 185 $ intentional for nothing .
Taylor is super sweet and amazing, she made the leasing process smooth.
IM NOT SURE WHOS MANAGING THIS PROPERTY BUT ITS ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL LIVING HERE. THE PROPERTY MANAGER NEVER ACKNOWLEDGES ANYTHING & LOOKS AT YOU LIKE YOUR SPEAKING ANOTHER LANGUAGE WHEN YOUR VOICING CONCERNS & HAVE QUESTIONS. THE TURNOVER RATE IS AWFUL, NEW EMPLOYEES THAT DONT KNOW ANYTHING EVERY TWO MONTHS. MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO TWICE!!! THEY SENT NOT ONE NOTICE OR CONCERN, THE EMPLOYEES ACT AS IF THEY HATE IT HERE AS WELL AS THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL! I WILL BE FINDING AWAY OUT OF MY LEASE SOON.
I lived here for a year or so and Im loving it. Im comfortable, my place is nice and my neighbors are actually good people
As the end of my lease is nearing, I thought Id give a review for this apartment complex as a whole. I would say my lease here started pretty roughly. In the beginning, we did have a roach problem and with hurricane harvey, we had some serious roof damages. Staff took a little while to take care of the issues at hand, but in the end, they took care of everything. Throughout my lease, I didnt have roaches again after they pest control come in once. As far as positives go for this place, parking is always available and its a pretty quiet community. I always had AC and the maintenance guy here is really nice. Whenever service requests are submit, they get done within a couple days or so. Additionally, Ive noticed more effort from the team to make the community look better. There used to be a lot of dog poop laying around, but that problem seems fixed recently. As far as the negatives go, the staff wasnt helpful in the beginning and I feel like I kind of got suckered in. I wasnt aware that the washer/dryers in units are ancient and that some things would be different from the model apartment we viewed. The agent didnt do a walk-through with us so hopefully at the end of this lease they dont charge us with damages that were here before us. Our deposit as first-time renters was kind of high, at $800, and they werent very helpful with the process of applying. I also dont like how packages are to be picked up down the street at their other apartment complex. Lastly, their system for paying rent is a little different. Basically, you cant pay your rent online (which sucks a lot) so ive had to get a money order at the bank every month.
A poor lady got robbed in this condo. The police said a black young man grabbed her keys and robbed her car. No guard in the front gate. The security here is nightmare. And the property management does not care.
DO NOT IGNORE THE COMMENTS ABOUT BREAK INS!! We havent even lived here a year, and my boyfriends car has been broken into twice already in a span of three weeks. One being last night 5/29/17. His car was one of 8 cars broken into!! We saw these comments before moving in but figured it wasnt as frequent as it seemed and that it probably wouldnt happen to us. There is absolutely no security even though they try to make you feel like there is with a gate that will let anyone in and an empty guard watch. On top of all that, they have not even attempted anything to decrease these break ins nor do they care to. With the amount of money we pay in rent, it is absolutely ridiculous that this is now a constant worry.
Lots of break ins and theif. Apt says they will up security but never do. They are never helpful and everyone that works here has no idea what is ever going on or how to work their apt software
Roaches, unresponsive management, and MULTIPLE car break-ins and robberies
I recommend not to rent in this place, because they treat people very bad way, they kind of racism and the take big mount of money for deposit, I was leav there there with roommate because am in wheelchair the apartment not convinced for me so I decided to move me roommate he will saty we went to the office, the old guy with glass on he been told me when the lase over come take your dpost, my roommate he renowned the lase, when I want there the guy he said he doesn’t know me And he never sees me in he is life he started arguments with me
I lived here for awhile until i moved out recently. maintenance doesnt come unless you call them at least 3 times and the staff wasnt friendly at all. It looks like a nice apartment from the outside but idk if its worth how much youre paying for.
The apartment complex looks nice from outside, a peaceful place. But when you start living here, you experience some issues.1) Security: There is an automatic gate entry but it is frequently broken or does not work as expected. It was closed before I was able to go inside and it really scratched my car from side. Two of my guests cars were also damaged so bad from top as if somebody hit with a baseball stick. There were many break in cars and apartments but the management resist to put an security person to the gate. Once, there was a married couple came back from work and they saw that somebody broke in their home and took laptops, i-pad and some other devices. The worst part is that they also took their car keys and their car was also stolen.Instead of putting a security guy the gate, they put more cameras and a patrol guy which I dont know how did it help2) Maintenance is very slow and you need to repeat your requests. You can talk to them face to face, or via phone, they will take notes but guess what nothing happens.I guess they trash all the maintenance notes in the end of the day. Because nothing happens after several days. You have to ask for the same thing again again to make them to do it. They have also online request form, but it is another joke no need to mention.I will not lie, yes they do it eventually but the maintenance request process takes so much time and so much energy of yours and you start questioning why the hell you pay to much rent for this crap.3) Neighbors: Mostly educated and piecefull people around. Mostly quiet, but some days, 15-20 random people show up in the pool areawith loud music and shoutings. I used to swim in the pool but after these noisy folks, it is hard to use the pool anymore. Not that day I mean that week.Because of the mass and damage they did, usually maintanance closes the pool for several days after their usage. Now the pools are closed. The profile of new neighbors is getting worse day by day.4) Roaches/Rats/Bed Bugs : Some people complained about these. I personally experienced the bed bugs in the first week I moved in.It was not my fault but I had to pay hundreds of dolars to a company to get rid of it, because the apt complex would not handle it.Roaches? Yes I saw many of them in the outside where we walk but luckily not that many inside my apartment, less than 20 in the last 2 years.I lived in 3rd floor. In the night time I saw big rats wandering outside. I scare to see them inside my apartment.5) Noise Sealing: The buildings have poor sealing I guess, in the night time you hear lots of noise as if it happens in your rooms.Car sound and train honks and some insects noise.I know none of the apt complex is super. I have lived in very cheap places in different neighborhoods in Houston. This place is like double price of those cheap places but giving the same service. I guess they charge you to the location of this place only.My last word dont be fooled by its look. I am waiting for my contract to be over to be able to leave.
I would not recommend moving into these apts. at all. They where bought out by a new company and the customer service has been terrible ever since. It takes at least a week if not 2-3 to get simple requests done. They closed the gym is terrible with no equipment, they have two treadmills, one of which is broke all of the time. The other equipment is old and unsafe, they were supposed to remodel the gym but the just moved the old crap from one room to the other. Dont let the pictures on the website fool you, the grounds look nothing like that. The gates are always broken, and there is literally no security and rarely anybody in the office. The trash overflows and there isnt even a gate to surround it and keep it hidden. The only upside about these apts. is the location, other than that its terrible. The staff is very unhelpful and rude and wont process your request unless you stay on them and remind them. Moving into this place would be a mistake and I promise you that you will regret it. The management will help you up until the time you sign the lease, after that you are on your own. One more thing, the water bill is way to high, Ive paid up to $60 for my water in a single month for a single bedroom, thats just ridiculous. Dont make the same mistake I made, Just Dont do it.
Great place to live
The AC keeps breaking an no one can fix it. Our cars have been broken into numerous times and no one cares. This place sucks. They are even trying to charge us an extra months rent for no reason at all. can not wait to get out of this dump.
WORST experience I have ever had - this place is a rip off - I have been robbed, the gates are never locked, there is no security, the pool was out of comission for more than a month and there is still no gym!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!
Ive been here for 2 years. It is a little expensive with poor services. Machines at the gym have lot of problems. Swimming pool is usually closed. Maintenance is week.
Overall good
Bed bugs and rats
Nice place
