Working with Clarissa has been GREAT! Very professional. Units were ready with no complaints. The neighborhood is quiet and has a friendly community. They have remolded many units but there are classics which offer nice value. Every once in a while, you can find special.

City Chase is a wonderful place to live the property is always kept clean and well manicured. Maria the assistant manager is a delight to know. She is friendly, honest and handles every task with professionalism. The maintenance team are always on top of work orders and anything that the community needs to be done. In general it’s a GREAT team they have together NOW. I been a resident for the past year and just transfer the switch was very smooth thanks to Maria and her team. I love living at City Chase!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about City Chase and the staff. The process of finalizing my paperwork were handled thoroughly and professionally by Maria. Her kindness and understanding of my unique situation truly warmed my heart. I am extremely grateful to her for bringing about a happy beginning at City Chase or me and my family.

I moved into these apartments in 2017 after being flood in Harvey. The upgraded apartments are very nice. The safety and concern of their residents are a BIG JOKE! Since living there it was a swat stand off, murder, people being robbed and shot, cars being broken into. Then they try and find anyway to make a buck off of you. They charge you for normal wear and damages that happen after living somewhere for a few year. Bugs are a very big problem. They charge you for pest control and then have a issue every time you ask for them to come out. Management always changing. Parking not so good . the best person in the office and willing to help is Clarrissa

Came by this property and I loved the way everything was so put together. The model layout its great, I really loved the location, it was very affordable. Looks very kepped up. Maria was very polite and friendly, compared to other I dealt with when searching for my new home and now I can say I made the right decision on choosing this complex as my new home! Maria and Mary are very attentive, caring, friendly with ALL their tenets. Thank you both for everything y’all do for us the residents.

I came in for a tour and right from the beginning I was greeted, but also looked at with confusion. It was like they weren’t sure why I was there. I let them know I had a tour scheduled, they asked who I spoke with on the phone while 4 people stare at me like a deer in head lights, I let them know I called a few times and only got an automated system to set it up for meThe woman that helped me sorta seemed like she knew I wasn’t going to be moving there in the beginning, sorta like trying not to “ waste my time “ but in the end she showed me the property it was very beautiful ( then again aren’t they all at first ) but they don’t except my pup ( greyhound) she then suggested another property for me to check out. For that I am very grateful. anyone with a dog that doesn’t fit in your purse better look elsewhere

Such great, amazing, and wonderfully nice office staff, especially one of the managers, Maria. She made me feel welcomed and and wanted at this amazing complex. Out of the apartment complexes I’ve been at this one is for sure the best one.

Love the community and their amenities. Outside staff is GREAT at what the do. Office has changed for better Ms. Maria is ways help me on my needs or concerns.

THERE WAS A HUGE BUG PROBLEM. My family is busy and we occasionally leave dishes in the sink. So I tried to chock it up to that in the beginning. But there were bugs all over the outside of the apartment and in the grass too so I knew it wasn’t just us. We put in a work order to have our apartment exterminated and nothing ever got done. We did everything we could to reduce the bug flow - there were NEVER dishes in the sink, we rinsed all of our trash, we dried the sink out after every use, we never left clutter, we tried everything we could to not add to the problem but nothing helped. We put in work order after work order and tried talking to management and nothing happened. The entire time I lived here I consistently had bug bites all over legs. My cats were infested with fleas no matter how much I treated them with flea control from my veterinarian.All of this mixed with how dark and suffocating the floor plan was was driving me insane. I DO NOT recommend this place. As soon as we moved out our cats were flea free, I’m not getting bug bites (although I have scars from how often it was happening before) and I haven’t seen a single bug.

Id give 0 stars if I could . This place is dirty, unsafe, and completely mismanaged. The security is laughable and crime is pretty regular, theyre only there at odd hours and never available when called. The gates often dont work and are then either stuck shut or left wide open for days at a time. I have been asked by the same resident on several occasions for money, just while walking to my car, so thats who your neighbors are. Services and inspections are done with no notice and no regard to tenants or pets. Their idea of notifying you of anything important is to tape it to your door, which is the most ridiculous form of communication with legal documents Ive ever heard, not to mention the most unreliable. The staff is rude and completely incompetent, I mean to the point you wonder how they function day to day. Tracy Pittman is incapable of preforming basically any task, if you have the misfortune of interacting with her, dont bother, shes useless. Nothing is ever easy, simple or pleasant, a true misery from start to finish. Its pretty easy to tell from essentially every review that this place is nowhere you want to spend your time and certainly not your money. Do yourself a favor AND NEVER EVER LIVE/RENT/VISIT this poor excuse for a living complex.

Just took a tour with Clarissa. She was very patient, knowledgeable, charismatic and sweet. Price in comparison to what your getting is very reasonable. If the only factor in apartment hunting was those you interact with doing the tour, then she’d take the came every time.

Recently visit the complex and they were very WELCOMING and felt like home. Staff is very knowledgeable of the property and everything surrounding them. Definitely liking this area and considering moving in.

I live here. I love my apartment but the balconies and grounds around my particular apartment building or not well maintained. Neighbors are not very respective and throw their junk and leave things out all the time.

Area for one is by far the best. Not too far from the beltway. Great restaurants within walking distance. Also theres a Walmart and HEB across the street. Sprouts (if thats what you prefer) is less than 2 minutes away. Everyone stays to their self as they should 🤷🏽‍♀️. Grounds are VERY well kept. VERY quite as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Maybe some mishaps here and there but they do their best to resolve everything in a timely matter. Have to remember theres multiple units here and of course theres a list. So patience is a virtue . But so far my requests were resolved within 3 days tops. Only con is when I moved in and still currently the pool is closed. But again takes time. Not to be that petty person but the toilets are cool and the new shower heads as well. No mud was tracked inside my home. They actually put my bathroom rugs back in place. Dont really have a problem with flushing. Then again it depends on how much stuff you have in order for it all to go down in one push 🤷🏽‍♀️

Please do not move here. Ever since Westchase Crossing was bought out and became City Chase, we had nothing but problems with them. They refused to answer phone calls. Also, we received a notice that they would be fixing the concrete in the parking lots, but then put caution tape around our entire apartment building and have began re-roofing. The roofers were littering literally everywhere, there were bits of roof everywhere because they just throw it off. My dogs were too scared to go outside because roof bits were falling from the sky. We never received a notice about our roof, and when I complained about them just throwing off parts of the roof while we were walking our pets, they just put caution tape around the pet walking areas and littered more. I contacted the corporate office. No response. I eventually stepped on a rusted nail because of the roofing and littering. I contacted the office, they took my information and assured me that a representative would be in contact with me. Never happened. Our appliances were not working and we were told that if we wanted them to upgrade them that wed have to pay. They also allowed anyone and everyone to live there. We had neighbors move in that were horrible. Drug abuse, domestic disputes, violence, etc. The police were contacted several times, as well as the office. Once the police came four times in one night. One of the officers spoke with my wife and advised her to tell the office to contact them so that they could confirm the criminal activity, which we did. Nothing was done. We later found out that none of the people living there were on the lease and that it was being subleased against the knowledge of the office. All of these things were breaches of lease. Nothing was done. The place was also completely infested with roaches. Everyone I knew that lived there complained about this same issue. Sprayers came out and it did nothing. The buildings are too old and outdated. We were finally able to move out and it was the best thing we could have possibly done. Do NOT live here. Youre just money to these people.

I have live in this community a total of 7 years ... The 1st time 3 years and now the second time a total of 4. I came back to this location for a second time because of the location and for community. When I fell on hard time it was the perfect price and management has always been professional and kind. I have worked in this apartment industry for a some years and have witnessed some pretty horrible stuff. However, that has not been the case here. I can appreciate this apartment remaining competitive in price but reasonable in this economy. Honestly, it is not high rise living, but it does carter to working professional that is concerned about providing a safe environment for its family and future. This community has been fair, good with maintenance issues, no pest issues and little to no crime. I am a happy resident and would recommend this location to people that need a safe haven on their way up the corporate/entrepreneur ladder and keeping a safe family environment.Thank you City Chase you have been a blessing.

My Wife and I have recently visited this property. We met with Carolina and she showed us a few units in our price line.The price for the area and overall condition of the property is really reasonable.Our favorite part of this whole experience was our interaction with Carolina. Not only was she very informed but her personality and genuine care for us to rent here was great.after visiting this property a couple of times we have now decided to make this property our new home.big thanks to the staff and mostly Carolina.

I rented an apartment here the first week of January, and Carolina was instrumental in my choice of this property. I have very unusual work patterns and she really went out of her way to provide me with the best fit available. All of the staff here have been very cordial and professional and the location is terrific.

I have been living in these apartments for 3 years now and never had an issue with my apartment. The complex conditions have been improving since the new management has taken over. Carolina and Clarissa are always available when I call the office and have been helpful in answering any and all questions I have in reference to remodeling process. I dont plan on moving until I purchase my first home.

If I could give this a ZERO Star I would! Beyond disappointment! Lived here for about a year! Had always complained about the walls having different color white. The water that came out the sink always smell so bad!! Which explains why there was a whole bunch of bugs all the time! And that was with no dirty dishes laying around. The whole year I lived there I always had A/c problems and it was never fixed! Our downstairs neighbors (more than one) would always smoke weed knowing there was kids around and the smell would always found it’s way inside our apartment and others. Told the office about that problem and they never did anything about it. My car was left with a lot of major scratches from all those cats that wonder around the parking lot. Crime rate in that area escalated quickly, specially in those apartments. Management was great at first, but ones they hire new people everything went to the trash! They always so rude and don’t give a dam about there residents. These apartments where flooded on Harvey and they never mention it! That’s why they are remodeling the whole interior of all rooms. Would not recommend at all!!!!

It was nice, and affordable... but beware, they charged us like 2 months rent a year after moving out...

I have lived here 4 years now my advice.. FIND LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE TO LIVE, between the random water shut offs, the inconvenience of paying rent, the fact that literally no one ever answers the phone even though every time you go down there there is literally always someone just sitting there, the lack of urgency to get anything done, the gates stay wide open so there’s really no need for them, the place they advertise? Maybe 5 apartments throughout the whole complex actually have all of the things they advertise. Otherwise get used to appliances from the 80s that really only work about 70% of the time, the DIRTINESS. I can’t wait to leave this place and the slum lord corporation running it. IF YOURE THINKING ABOUT THIS APARTMENT THINK AGAIN

I use to live here first problem is roaches when I was leaving in this apartment complex roaches is all over my apartment even go inside the fridge I complain about it almost every week they say they spray but instead of reducing the roaches it become worse and become more roaches then after many years since I left the place they are charging me something without my knowledge didnt even inform me of the charges I even call a few months after I left if I got some back charges their reply is none

Not safe for your kids and very very unclean. Theres drunks that live here and harassed my 7 and 14 year old daughters when they were trying to walk to the pool. My truck has been broken in 3 times in the past 5 months. Staff refuses to discuss the issue nor do they have working cameras. Gun shots in the apartment building next to us. My wife is scared to come home late at night. Roaches are everywhere and I am pretty much the definition of a neat freak. I have an issue with their online system to pay rent and they refuse to help me with it. The staff at the office are the rudest and most disrespectful team I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.

I recently visited the apartment with my family and Miss Carolina walked me around the place and showed me some apartments. I was very impressed by the apartments, the prices and miss Carolinas advises that I decided to move at city chase apartment at make it my new home. Thanks again to Miss Carolina for showing why moving to city chase apartment was an excellent choice.

Management is very nice, they fix any problems that you have or help you to fix them. The entire place is full of nice people and the pool is great, only issue ive got is when somebody new moves in that does not know how things work and wont turn off their damn music at 1 am

I went to take a tour of the apartments and hopefully see a 1 bedroom but when I got there not only was there only a temp working and knew nothing but then they tell me the apartment I wanted to see was flooded and I couldnt see it! How unprofessional and stupid given it was a Saturday of all things!

These guys are amazing! Im within 20 mins from anywhere in the Houston area! Amber and the staff are very polite and so helpful! Free parking (only pay if you want a specific spot), pool and lawns always look good! I have not seen a single roach this summer! The staff is all willing to help in any way they can! I Highly suggest living here! :)

They just installed new toilets in ALL the units in the complex. But I think theyre worse than. The originals! Now you gotta double flush just to get rid of the toilet paper! And their is just so much mud everywhere they tried getting new grass but the people that mow the lawn destroyed the little grass that they put down. Lol..cant wait to move.

Moved in at the begging of 2017 after searching far and wide for a place. After a couple trips to view the location and apartment I give it a 5 star experience with City Chase all thanks to Carolina! Never been so satisfied with an apartment office or staff member and ive been through a dozen or so in the uptown area. Carolina is excellent at caring for you, your home and your stay at City Chase. Above and Beyond in considerations for my new place. Im very happy with my move here and enjoy my apartment very much and strongly recommend this apartment building to all who consider it! Took a tour with Clarissa on Saturday and she made me feel warm and welcome. Any question that I had she didnt hesitate to answer and the prices were almost as amazing as she was!

I went there to view an apartment and, despite not making an appointment to tour, and with only 25 minutes to closing, Clarissa welcomed me and showed me around with such patience, she did not rush to show us around. I’m impressed!

Worst place ever to live.Rude management and staff. Buildings are too old and dirty and maintenance is very poor. With $1000/mo for a one bedroom apartment you expect something gorgeous, but this place is awful.The A/Cs are too old, maybe +40 years, they make lots of noise that you cannot even sleep in bedroom! Machines in laundry rooms are so dirty and half of them are not working.My advise: Dont come to this place! its worse than worst. Dont waste your money.

I wish i could leave no stars. This place has been the worst experience in my life. I toured the unit that I was moving into 2 months before I moved in. Clarissa stated that things were going to be changed or fixed before I moved in. THEY WERE NOT! It developed mold (before Hurricane Harvey). I called and notified Clarissa of the mold. She stated that she was putting in a work order. Weeks go by, and nothing had been done. I spoke with Clarissa yet again, and she tells me there is no mold in my apartment, while Im clearly looking at it. I had to get loud and threaten to hire a lawyer for her to tell me to clean it off myself. I call the day before Harvey hit, and they stated that there was never a work order placed.The next young lady was very helpful she placed a work order for someone to come after the hurricane was over. By then the mold had spread. They came in and eradicated the mold, but did not offer me any apologies, not compensation. NOTHING! Ever since then every time I call and Clarissa answers, she has an attitude with me. I hate calling in because she seems to be the only one that ever answers. She talks to me like I am her child and I am supposedly incompetent. I am a realtor! I know my rights as a tenant. When i lost my job due to Harvey they were not willing to work with me, and threatened to evict. A plus side is there were a few times that I paid my rent late online and it did not charge me the correct late fees. I have attached photos of the mold BTW.

I usually do not stay anything about bad service..but this is to much..Where can I begin! Oh I know, never even got to move in here in the first place...customer service was TERRIBLE Fill out an application online weeks ago and gave a deposit for a apt. Never receive a call on the status of my application. I called the office, was not able to get a hold of ANYBODY!! All I got was s text message saying a agent will give you a call smh!! Which by the way waited days and never got a call back. Rather loose a one time simple deposit!! Then to del with these people for the next 12 months smh!! Wouldnt recommend dealing with these complex if their going to take your money and never give you a call back!

I have positive and negative experiences living here. But Ive gotta put this out there.... this complex claims a zero tolerance policy. However, my neighbor leaves their small dog locked out and unattended on their 3rd story balcony. He howls and barks all night. Ive made multiple complaints, but the little dude is out on the patio crying and howling as I type this. Unattended dogs on patios is supposedly against one of the complexs policies. I dont mind withdrawing my complaint, as long as something is done about this poor dog.

Do not live herethe management will have your car towed as a resident with a parking permit and will not care. The place is crawling with roaches no matter how many time you have the apartment sprayed. parking is horrible and the staff do not care if you have to park two to three building away from your actual building. and yes i am a current resident and will not be renewing my lease.

Ive been living here for five years . I love the complex very quite and a in beautiful area, the staff at the leasing office are super nice and helpful. please check it out you wont regret it, if you ever at the office ask for Cardina and Clarissa they are super nice and professional.

I want to formally thank Carolina for all the help she gave me. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable from the time I was on the property until the time she called and said I was approved. Im so thankful for her help.

Utterly unprofessional. I never received any notice to renew my lease. When I emailed the rental company about a lease renewal, they never replied. 2 weeks before my lease is up and I have to go to the main office to ask about it in person. The associate began by pulling a file for the wrong apartment. After getting mine, she told me that apparently they stuck my lease renewal to my door, their standard practice, which would certainly explain why I never received it. She told me that I was supposed to reply back at the end of May, but apparently they just dont prioritize following up. Actually, there was no justification given for the lack of follow up on their part. When I asked about the email, they told me the associate I emailed was no longer with them even though, at the time of this review, its still listed. That isnt any fault of mine and if thats the case then why didnt anyone follow up with their emails, why werent the emails forwarded from them? Basic practices when transitioning team members out of a position. And why leave such a crucial document on my door? Because if it were important, they could email me or put it in my mailbox, right?Well, because of this oversight, I didnt find out that the special extension offer I was given when I signed on initially was not valid and that my rent would go up 10% upon renewal. Additionally, moving out requires a 60 day notice, otherwise they lock you into a 1 month lease with a 25% increase in the rent. Had I known this sooner, I could have been looking for another place thats still within my budget, but sadly I didnt. The manager Tracy was unsympathetic, unapologetic, and made no concessions for the lack of response, lack of professionalism, or for the mishandling of important lease renewal forms on their part. She actually made the fact that I never received the renewal document MY responsibility, insisting that I received it like everyone else. Sticking it to my door isnt the same as receiving it. She made sure to repeatedly highlight that I was the ONLY person to ever have an issue with their system, a fact that did not reassure me in any way or make me feel better. Also, I find it hard to believe that no one else has ever had any issues with or complained about a system that puts important documents on your door instead of in an email or a letter in your box. There are also issues with packages getting stolen off of door steps as well, so the door step doesnt seem like a secure location for my renewal documents. If that werent enough, if I hadnt come to discuss it in person, who knows if they would have actually contacted me, or just left another note on the door. So, now Ive been strong armed into a 6 month lease at an inflated rate since they wont honor the special, and when I mentioned that I would be making all of this known in relevant reviews, Tracy went so far as to tell me that she would ensure that after my 6 months, I could never renew, effectively kicking me out.Sadly, this joke goes onto the creating my renewal, as the associate created a renewal for the wrong apartment number (deja vu), then after fixing it, sent it to the wrong email address. At every turn, the City Chase used ineffective methods, substandard practices, and displayed a sincere lack of compassion for the position they had put me in.Some of their other problems include:-Packages stolen off of doorsteps, mine included, and cars are regularly broken into. This is because the gates often stick open and dont close, sometimes for days.-Security services leave after 5, I know because I called their dispatch for a non-emergency like City Chase told me to and they said City Chase doesnt contract them for evenings.-Communication is non-existent. Ive had voicemails and emails left unanswered.-There are actually tenants soliciting in the parking lot, asking for money.Theres still more, but Ive hit my character limit. Ill take it up with someone higher up the ladder...

My experience living at City Chase has been wonderful, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, clean place to raise a family. and Carolina rocks, shes soooo helpful and gets things done every time I ever needed her...

City Chase is not a safe place to liveI have lived at City Chase Apartments for over a year now, and I have had my car shot as well as broken into/window busted out twice in the last two weeks. There have also been armed robberies and various shootings since I’ve moved in. My neighbor’s car windows were shot out, and someone was robbed and shot as well. This incident was on the news. City Chase has added surveillance cameras as well as a security guard. My main issue is they fail to notify residents when these things happen such as several cars being broken into, or that a woman was robbed at gunpoint. They also lack empathy or care when you tell them about what happened. I had to be informed by a neighbor as well as speak to Maria in the office to find out that 6 cars had been broken into and that police were investigating. Residents should be notified by email or a notice on our doors. I am very disappointed and feel that City Chase is indifferent about the safety concerns of its residents.

Basic Review from a current tenant. Ive been residing here since December 2016. I’m now going on 8 months of living at City Chase. So far its been a positive experience. I’m happy. It’s a small property, very diverse, staff is friendly, property is clean, units are older but well maintained. You can take a nice morning walk and really enjoy it. There is a nice noiseless neighborhood next to the apartments. Upon moving in, there were some glitches with the rent amount, but that was resolved quickly. If you pay your rent online (like me) you normally have to wait till the 2nd of the month. The system will not allow you to pay on the first. Which is no big deal. Gary, the Assistant Manager of the property does respond great to emails. I loved working with him. I don’t believe he is still at this property? I could be wrong. Clarissa is also a sweet- heart. They usually take a few days to respond to a maintenance request, but I would imagine they respond to them on urgency levels. Which makes total logic. I would not say they go the extra mile… but the job gets done. That’s all that matters. I would recommend this community. The best part of living here is that the community is near all the shopping centers, and restaurants. You don’t have to go far. Oh.. and you don’t have to pay for parking, its free (unless you want a reserved spot) So Im a happy tenant.

Absolutely not safety place, permanent criminal activity, shooting, property damage (transport in the parking lot), armed robbery, no cameras, management do not do anything. In the parking lot damaged both my bikes(hit and run). Repair bill $3000+

So after I moved out they failed to inform me of any charges that I owed, so they then sent me to debt collections. I knew nothing of this until I applied to a new apartment complex and THEY told me about the charges. I have since then for almost a MONTH now been trying to get everything squared away, I paid off my debt in full and sent proof to City Chase to get my account balance updated to $0 so I can find a home. I have COUNTLESS times emailed, called, and left voicemails which they time and time again fail to respond. Thanks to them my husband and I are left without a home, because with a balance on my renters verification, no one can rent to me. I hope to hear from them soon, because if push comes to shove I will fly from California to get this sorted out. WORST MANAGEMENT EVER!!!UPDATE: they never did help me, just thought I should let yall know

Pros: Great neighbors. Loved the location so close to everything. Great restaurants and easy access to the West Park Toll way or I-10. Had fun BBQing at the pool. Attentive and helpful staff.Cons: The laundry rooms sucked. Washer and dryers required you pre-pay a credit card and you could only access the payment center if the office was open. 50% of the time washers were broken and dryers did not dry clothing properly. I wound up taking my clothes to Three Sheets wash and fold service. For the 100.00 a month spent on laundry I could have rented a full size washer and dryer.

Very Nice experience Carolina has been very helpful in the process of me moving and getting settled into my place.

Consultant CLARISSA does not follow thru with her word, she specifically tells you that she will return your calls and never do. When speaking with her on the phone she blatantly gets loud to over talk you to make it seems as if shes right with everything she says but then apologizes and makes excuses when she is called out on the lies. They also falsified information on my application.The property is trash based on the customer service from the leasing consultants

As a new resident of City Chase Apartments, I can honestly say that I have not had one complaint. Yes, their not new apartments and show their age, but the staffing here has made all of the difference. From the maintenance, security, and office employees as a whole. They show great proffesionalism and consider the residents needs first, in a timely manner. My decision to move in was solely based upon Carolinas tour of a unit she showed me. She was knowledgable, proffesional, and honest with any challenging question I offered. She didnt sugar coat anything like many leasing agents do, but instead used kindness and courtesy to convince me as a customer. She continues to quickly take care of her residents when any issue (which have been scarce) arises.Overall, I would easily recommend City Chase as an affordable, safe, and comfortable place to live for families and individuals of all ages.Thanks Carolina for your hard work!

Not great but not bad. Rent is inexpensive and the staff is courteous. Yup we had cockroaches when we moved in and they got pest control to solve the issue. Problem solved. One negative is the pool could use a little more maintenance and maybe they do in the summer but right now its ehhhhhh. This place is close to anything one would truly need and is safe enough to not feel sketched out even for this white boy from rural Maine.

The staff I believe do mean well but unfortunately they are never on the same page. You literally get a different answer about anything depending on who you talk to and what day. Its very frustrating and hard to deal with them because of it. 1 particular person, Amber, is like dealing with people who work at a car impound. She is very rude, condescending, and gives more attitude than clear answers. She talks down to people without hesitation and will openly express her frustration as if you are not there. Whenever she answers the phone I know Im going to have to go a few rounds before I get an answer. The combination of the staff not being on the same page and Ambers severe lack of people skills make this place undesirable to live. Thank goodness there are a lot of other places to live.

Pros: Quietest apartment complex Ive ever seen. They give you until the 3rd to pay rent without fees. Quick response to maintenance issues.Cons: I recently sprained my ankle after falling on the very uneven concrete in the parking lot. Also, every time it rains, the mud gathers at the bottom of the walkway, giving you no other option than to walk through it to get to your vehicle. Ive lived here for almost four years and half of the washing machines in the laundry rooms never work, EVER. Every single time we wash clothes here we end up losing money because the machine is broken, and when half the machines are broken, it becomes difficult to keep track of which ones work. So, here is the calculation: we wash clothes about once a week and every week we lose money on at least one machine, sometimes two. Over a period of almost four years, weve been cheated out of AT LEAST over $100, and thats a conservative estimate.Not to mention the fact that they use a card loading system for the machines. Im guessing they do that as a security measure so the machines wont get robbed. However, I dont know how theyd get robbed if they never work anyway. Here is the worst part. There is nothing worse than loading your laundry card and going to wash clothes after the office closes only to find that the machine is broken and all of your work clothes, which you need for your JOB in the morning, are floating in filthy stagnant water with no way to try another machine because the office is closed and the machines dont take quarters. So, I would add another $100 to the previous $100 owed, for mental duress.This would be a one star rating if it werent for the few pros that I mentioned.

My lease will end next month. I have lived here for 3 years. I have had no problems with my immediate neighbors, the area of the complex where i live is relatively quiet except for the people that live in back of me. Its tolerable though not bad people. I can say there have been a lot of changes. Cons: Parking is becoming difficult, the laundry center is overpriced, there are no anemities, and you are paying for the convenience of the area. Pros: Everything you need is close, matainence is great, they provide good customer service, and i have only had one complaint on one agent in the leasing office, everyone else is exceptional.

Literally the worst apt complex I’ve ever had the misfortune of experiencing.The office is horrible. They try to steal from you.The manager has no clue how to speak to residents.Very rude and unprofessional office workers.They never answer the phone or check their messages. They have tried to over charge me for 6 months in a row.The apts are ghetto and old and failing apart. They just remolded but putting in ugly gray floors and charging more for it. There’s gunshots at night and roaches everywhere.Drug dealing in the parking lots.Over priced laundry mats.They just installed low flo toilets. They take fifty flushes..just for toilet paper...And haven’t saved us any money.Gates are always broken and cars are always being towed illegally or being broken into or stolen altogether.Not a safe place for a family or small kids since everyone speeds in the parking lot.Oh and if you’re like me and hundreds of others who’ve had to deal with various problems and day to day nuisances and you seek some help or a remedy for the problem you’ll be met with an unyielding wall of indifference. They DO NOT CARE about your problems. It’s only your home, your life!But to the office at city chase your problems are just annoying complaints. those jaded people that have about as much compassion for your problem as a snake has for a field mouse with a broken leg.Save yourself the trouble and the moneySo many more places that offer more for less.DONT MOVE HERE!!!

During the very first month of our rent, somebody tried to rob our apartment, the entrance door lock was broken up. Outside, right in front of the door some bent nails and broken picklocks were lieing around. At the leasing office they told us there was nothing they could do about it! And at the same time we pay security fee monthly. On the 7th of November an armed robbery of our neighbours took place and again - the security didnt happen neither to see anything nor to undertake. Four guys with guns and bags ran out of the apartment, jumped into their car and rushed out, guess what - no security cameras were fixed even after that had happened!! On the 25th of April a new armed robbery occured in the apartment complex, with a victim this time. No actions taken. Yeasterday at the parking space two vehicles were damaged, the offenders got away with no security on the sight! Nobody at the leasing office cares about anything, they wouldnt bother to fix cameras or maintain basic safety. The garage gate is almost always malfunctioning, it either doesnt close or the sensor is not working, resulting in scratches on residents cars as they try to get in/out (my neighbours car is damaged by the gate too). Not to mention how old everything is the complex is, in the laundry only 2 out of 6 machines are functioning, other are filled with water (and that wouldnt be fixed for weeks!), horde of roaches marching all over the apartments.. Whenever you receive a package, you have to go down to the leasing office several times, every other hour, hoping to meet Caroline, because she is the only one who cares to help you, others would just send you away, although the tracking report states that the packege was delivered. Actually Caroline was the only good thing about this place, but she did a right thing to have resigned on the 30th of April, she deserves better.

Roaches.... lots of roaches. My apartment was infested. The apartment is quiet. But, I had to move because the roaches were taking over.

I have been living here for nearly 4 years and I gave it 2 stars for relative quietness and fast maintenance service.However lately many of us residents have been complaining about drug dealing and car towing. Do we need a petition because we did complain.I wont complain about roaches because I already called for my own pest controller and had it solved.They definitely need to add more visitors parking because where I live there is only 3 which is insignificant. Everyday cars are being towed, even during the day. Every resident gets a parking sticker per car ( hich by the way is defective and doesnt stick to the windshield) Or has to pay monthly for assigned parking .Something else that bothers me, they often power clean the walls which leaves our doors disgusting looking, I had to use dawn to clean mine but some of my neighbors dont care . It is such a bad look when I receive guests .I could recommend so many people from my church but I wont, we will be moving soon because its not what it used to be!

Could be 4 or 5-Stars… but the CONS!My experience living at City Chase for 8months (Aug 2017 – April 2018). Mostly all positive with the exception of a few things.Pros:Proximity to a lot of shops, gas stations, food, bars, medical centers you will be overwhelmed. HEB, Walmart, Lowes, Sprouts Farmers market, Phoenicia specialty foods, Trader Joe’s, Fuddruckers, Pappadeaux seafood, Luby’s, Carl’s Jr, Starbucks, Chipotle, Buffalo wings, West Houston medical center, Hope’s Clinic, Fedex, Wells Frago bank, just to name few are literally less than 5 minutes for this apartment.The Staff especially Clarissa and the maintenance guys are very helpful and nice (superb customer service). Maintenance is very good and prompt (~97% effective in my opinion). The other lady is also nice, even though she might appear unfriendly (never judge a book by its cover alone)There is usually a security that patrols the premise at nights (never saw any in the daytime).Cons:The buildings are old (I think) and whenever your next-door neighbor(s) are smoking or cooking, the smell or smoke gets into your own apartment through the vents. If you have little children, I would not recommend this place.The second major con is that the sound insulation in this apartment is extremely bad (At least, in my building). I was on the ground floor and I heard every single foot step and sound (includes music, arguments, and *Rated M sounds*) from both the apartment above and adjacent to mine (This is not an understatement).Every now and then, the gate breaks down and someone leaves their dog barking in the patio overnight.Parking might be an issue if you tend to return home late after midnight.The cameras by me building doesnt work. you see the cables dangling not connected to anything. (At least for the 8 months that I lived here)Note on roaches:If you want to live or already live in Houston, and you are not super clean (like not taking out your trashes every time and leaving unwashed dishes etc. around), You will find roaches in your apartment (I don’t think it’s fair to blame the management for your dirtiness).Never used the laundry so no comment on that.Please note that this review is just my own experience at City Chase (1 out of 100 – 1000s people).

Its not the best over priced actual apartments are no where near what the models look like. ROACHES ROACHES yes they have roaches .... Cats too everywhere nasty stray cats. No parking near my unit. ALSO they have the nerve to charge for parking ... Cant wait to move ...

This was the nastiest place I have ever lived. I had a newborn son while living there and the place was crawling with roaches. The very small ones to cock roaches. At the time of my lease the person working there stile money from me. I was a single mom and she charged me a deposit that equalled the rent. I borrowed the money to pay and then was told my deposit was only half that! By this time the girl had been fired so there was no way to get my money back. I cried for days over that. They are scammers and when I called the front office to ask what could be done about the infestation they sent over a maintenance man after a week of me calling. I bombed the apt several times to no avail. There was even roaches dead in my refrigerator. When he arrived he sprayed the place with raid! (I could have done that). Then he came back with the same fogger I bought from Walmart. After raising hell with the rude front office staff I was told they could do a stronger treatment. So they came in a few days later and sprayed only for me to re enter the apt with so much roaches crawling it made my skin crawl. My baby was learning to crawl at the time and they just wouldnt help me! He could not be on that nasty floor so I packed up what I could that didnt have roaches on it and we left. NEVER MOVE HERE! GROSS! RUDE STAFF AND DEPLORABLE LIVING CONDITIONS. THEY ARE THEIVES.

I have been living here for nearly 2 years i would NOT recomend this place to anyone roaches roaches roaches roaches its all I need to say am just glad my lease its almost up...I hv a two bedroom apt on the 3rd floor their AC units are the worst so old summer time was hell to even sleep at night because it was just so hot, my electricity bill was sky high and I complained so many times yet nothing was done, ceiling looks like its gonna break in half, there are a million cats around the property and they are not the nicest cats, staff not helpful except for a girl name Rachel I can honestly say she is the nicest most approchable..in other words DO NOT MOVE HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE you can find something so much better for $100 bucks more

By far the WORST complex I’ve ever stayed at. I moved here in aug 2017 and it’s ALWAYS something! Someone who lives in the complex broke in my apartment while I was here, security took over a hour to come. I called the front office about it and was told I would get a call back from Amber. NEVER received a call back about renters insurance or anything. Their dryers in the laundry room are basically all broken and they seem to have a “call the number on the machine we can’t help you” attitude so I was left with wet clothes and no reimbursement money. A lot of hidden fees added to rent. Just not a ideal location and staff seem to have little to no interest in helping you.

These apartments are terrible. Once you move in you find out they have roaches (bad). Also the Manager is very rude. They have yet to fix the infestation yet they charge every month for extermination.

My mother and sister just moved in and the next door neighbor hang out all day and night drinking and fighting. Please by past these apartments. This is the worst place ever.

We moved out because of the staff in office were rude and impolite. and the parking lot is awful.

Excellent workers always with very good attitude. Maria, Claudia, Clarissa and Tracy are very friendly and always trying to help. The apartments are in very good location and everything is around.

It is very dirty, the green areas are very ugly and the pool water is very dirty / salty and with a lot of chlorine, completely disappointing. The worst of all is that there are shots, robberies, cars hit and motorcycles knocked over.

I have done very well and the people in the office are very friendly. Carolina has been for my family and for me a great help. At night there is surveillance I like city chase. Atte Victoria
