Today, I am moving from my apartment. My experience here has been great. The staff has been great, they are always one call away. They were professional and gracious. I am extremely grateful.
So far everyone was very helpful and very nice. its a very quiet place with 24/7 access to the gym. i did have a few problems when i moved in. The apartment complex took care of with a kind manner.
Nice enough apartment complex that is in a good location directly adjacent to the medical center, close to the zoo/herman park & the astrodome. my only gripe is that there is a bunch of weirdos living here & lots of strangers waiting at the gate to be let in so you really never know who’s a non resident is inside the premises. floor plans are good, amenities are fine & my dogs can walk around to use the bathroom
I had several issues at this apartment complex:- Id constantly see roaches in my apartment although I always kept it clean, so it was clearly a problem with the apartment complex- When I renewed for a second year, they were supposed to give me $200 off starting the renewal. Although they did give me the $200 I had to fight for about 2-3 months to get the $200 credit.- There was a break in in the apartment below mine.- There were car break ins too.- When getting my deposit back one of the charges was categorized as other. I called to see what this charge was for and they simply did not give me an answer. The only thing worth 5 stars in that place is maintenance. Shout-out to the maintenance guys because they would always fix any problems quickly.
Bad management and rude workers! The office lost my paperwork and then tried to blame me for it and charge me a fee for no reason. Why don’t they keep proper records of their residents? And then at least don’t be rude about it. I had to do the work on my own to pull up records from years ago to prove that I dont owe any money (such an unnecessary waste of time). The worse part about it was their lack of care and respect of my time. No one should be living worried that they will get stuck with a bogus charge from the office.
I have lived at this apartment complex for over 4 years in a 2B 2Bath. The front desk staff does change often but the current manager, Melissa, has been absolutely great. The maintenance staff are quick to complete service orders and are very polite. The complex is fairly quite with the occasional loud car and or neighbor but overall has not been an issue in my 4 years. There is a multicultural mix of students, couples, and families with children and not to mention very pet friendly. The price is very affordable considering the location. The location is less than 10 min from the medical center and the museum district. I would definitely recommend to students, residents, and those wanting to find an affordable apartment near the medical center.
I moved to Houston six months ago due to school, and all have to say about the management, the staff, how clean the complex is, how comfortable, and how secure it is, it is amazing, outstanding, and out of the charts.I had an issue with my stove one day and by the next day it was already fixed.Had an issue with the kitchen faucet and by the next was already fixed.Couldn’t be happier, so close to the medical center and to the convenience store.
In all honesty I am typing this for the future resident or potential resident. Don’t move in here, I moved into a roaches infested apartment and management could careless of the conditions and health conditions you where given the apartment in. There is poor management, workers and Maintenance workers. We have experienced in less than a month of living here. On move in day Roaches, Broken doors, Rust and corroded appliances and within the month homeless people sleeping in the parking lot because front pedestrian gate does not lock and management does not bother to repair it. Save your self the headache based of off my headaches. If I knew how to add pictures on here I would have 30+ pictures.
Moved to Houston recently and so far zero complaints. The complex is well maintained and the unit was in good shape when I moved in. The place is surprisingly quiet too. The location is amazing and incredibly easy to get to.Also huge shootout to Tony. Move was super easy with his help and he has remained incredibly helpful since my move in.
Property is convenient and close around several facilities/stores/hospital.However, very poor management. Unit filthy- molds (but I understand since it is an OLD building/unit). Reported for kitchen appliance replacement, been a month now, still partially done. Initial request of this, was given false information as far as replacing appliance out of pocket.Lost several packages. I was unable to pick up from hub locker due to family emergency. I was told by management that it was sent out back to sender. However, the management couldnt find proof of documentation that it was sent back. Called sender, they did not receive package back. I, as well tracked the package and according to the tracking number it had never left the address that was sent to. Thus, it has never left 7100 almeda apartments. Lost worth $500, or shall I say misplaced..It was most recently colder in temperature here in Houston. I understand that we rarely use the heater. One cold evening (it was less than 50 degrees outside, 60 degrees inside), I turned the heater on and it caused smoke coming out the filter, along with a smoke smell (which I completely understand, as the heater was rarely used). What however made me scared and skeptical was that it caused the fire alarm to activate. When I called to request for someone to just check the heater, I was provided reassurance by the management that it is expected that this will happen since the heater was not used in a while. It was suggested to repeat the process. Because I am very afraid that it might cause fire, I requested just for some expert (maintenance) to check, but my request was denied and was told to just try it again. Since I am not comfortable to turn the heater on, my mother and I have been sleeping here in the apartment cold. This surprises me as according to Houston Law, landlords are required to provide heat during the months of October 31 through May 31; if the outside temperature is 55 degrees or below between 6 am and 10 pm, it must be at least 68 degrees in the apartment building and between 10 pm and 6 am the inside temperature must be 62 degrees. I would rather be cold than turn the heater on.. I feel unsafe.
Just moved in A month ago their team is awesome, they have great customer service. I did have an issue at move in due to my light company was very stressed but Shaundra was very professional and really helped me out and made it stress free. Melissa (manager) very welcoming and great Attitude had A minor issue with my A/C but was fixed same day. The community is very quiet and clean. I never have issues with parking which is GREAT!
I would not recommend leasing at this apartment complex. Problems with roaches and mold.
I am a first time renter and just moved in a week ago. The staff was great and worked with me to get me into my apartment. Melissa, Michelle, and Tony did an awesome job helping me get into my apartment with no hassles, and they we’re very polite and patient with me.
10/16/2020Melissa I love you and appreciate you! Tony was great too. This part here bought tears to my eyes! Melissa alleviated any anxieties I had by just being kind and sweet! I move in tomorrow 10/17/2020 and everything has been handled! Im a 32 year Army combat Officer! Ive been home 10 years from Iraq! 7100 Almeda community is more than an apartment to me! Its everything I have worked towards for the past 10 years! Quality living in a positive working environment and being treated with kindness and respect! Thats the pinnacle of customer service and Melissa thank you so much for your patience! Lol! Covid 19 has people standoffish but 7100 Almeda and its staff are warm and welcoming!Jeffrey D. I lived here for a total of 3 years and I now live elsewhere. Prior to the past 6-8 months I would have given the complex 4 stars despite the flaws. My reasoning for leaving was due to needing more space to take in a child in need. Once it came close to my lease renewal and I was given my renewal terms, I received a call from Melissa the apartment manager. I told her that I was still deciding about whether to renew due to the price increase. Her response was Really? How much is it? Is it JUST the $30 or are you seeing something different? I was taken aback by this line of questioning. Considering that at the time we were on the cusp of an epidemic and millions of Americans were losing jobs and income, there was no compassion or empathy only condescension. (There was also an increase at every renewal totaling approx. $100 from my initial move in rate. Most of which is normal so Im just stating for context.) I still had 3 weeks to decide so I simply responded yes and ended our conversation. It was at that moment that I began to look elsewhere. She is also poor at responding to emails. I had an issue with a neighbor and when I brought the information to her, she argued with me, dismissed my concerns and blamed their actions on me. None of which is becoming of a manager. Throughout the years, there was a lot of noise. Towards the last year a lot of it had calmed down due to neighbors moving out. I was also rarely home due to working 2 jobs (one of which I had to stop due to covid-19.) I had several maintenance concerns throughout my term. My number one was that my oven never worked. They replaced the oven and responded whenever I called about it however due to the apartment wiring, it never functioned properly. The stove top worked fine, just not the oven. I just gave up on baking and stopped calling about it. My dryer and water heater were both replaced once. Both were speedy and maintenance was courteous and I had 0 complaints. A week before my move-out there was a leak in my roof. He left a bucket for the remainder of my stay. My AC went out summer of 2019. They gave me a temporary furnished apartment to stay in however I ran out due to weird bugs being on the bed. My ac was fixed the next day so I didnt have that issue for long. There are roaches. Large and small. I have lived in my new apt for a month now and have not seen any so it was not due to me. My reasoning for my rating still being decent is due to the pros. You cant beat the location and I felt very safe. With prior management I had 0 issues. I rarely ever had dealings with the office so if I didnt need the additional space I would have stayed.
Super friendly staff, the location is really great for what you pay here. Even if you want to get the small apartment you can still have it with washer and dryer, the maintenance is great, you are 10 to 15 mins from the downtown. Easy access to 610 and 288Highly recommended 👍🏼
Ive been having dirty water in my apartment for the last 2 months Ive requested service more than 8 times and no one came to check for a month and when they checked they didnt do anything about itthe manger denied the problem saying that my water is ok she said the water is cloudy and she saw the nasty color.and she was afraid that will cost money to fix ..that was her words ...I took samples to the city of Houston they were shocked how Im using this water for 2 monthsnow they ignoring my service request and just dont wanna help
When I was moving into Houston from out of state, working with Tony was very helpful. The prices and amenities of 7100 Almeda is hard to beat for this area of Houston.
If I could I would give this community a ten star rating. I even signed up a new google account to give them good review.Very responsive and professional service staff.Very polite and considerate officers. My AC unit was frequently down this month, last night I was offered a free night in a fully furnished apt for stay since the temperature in my home was extreme. After one day of work I found they replaced the whole AC unit and this new one was even quieter than before.Clean and tidy living room after the service too.I would recommend any of my friends to move here because it is super cost effective. You pay the rent, then they will take care of everything for you. Just relax and be home. HOME. I would print a hard copy of thank you letter and present to them when I have time.
I like this community a lot. Clean and comfortable. The staff are very nice and helped me a lot!
I’ve lived here for 8 months now and the water to my unit gets turned off unexpectedly ALL THE TIME. If you want a roof over your head and to live like it’s 1870 with no running water this place is great for you.
My ac was recently not working, and the people who work there sent someone the same day to handled. Its so dreadful in Houston I was very pleased and happy that they were able to take care of it fast. They are great and take care of business.
I ve lived here for around 2.5 years now and not had any issues with the management; any service related requests were addressed within 48 hours at the most. Very responsive and happy to live here. I just extended my lease for another year
The staff’s work ethics are phenomenal. Kathy and Shaundra were an outstanding team. With patience, they listened and met every expectation I had during the whole process
This is the best place I have ever resided. The Staff is friendly and helpful, the Exterior and Interior looks great. They response to issues in a timely fashion. The complex is quiet, and secured. Most of all the Employees are very Professional. I HIGHLY recommend living here.
I absolutely loveeeee my apartments as well as the community manager, Ms. Kathy! I’ve been living here for about 2 months, and everything has been great! They come quick when you have a work order! Community is VERY QUIET & I feel extremely safe here!
This property is very well kept. Never trash outside so brownie points for maintenance crew. The office staff is beyond polite and super friendly. They never make you feel like a bother and are always helpful. I especially recommend Maggie(such an upbeat person). The prices are fair for the location being just minutes from the med center and downtown.
We lived in this apartment complex for nearly three years. It was an ideal location to get to Rice University by car and the surrounding major highways. We loved that the majority of our neighbors were quiet students themselves. We liked the peace of mind with several police officers living in the complex too. The apartment staff was quick to help and take care of any issues.
I have had a great experience with Kathy De La Cruz the property manager . The manager came out and spoke to me to ensure my apartment was to my satisfaction . My leasing agent was Maggie which was very helpful in finding my new home. You will be in great hands with this staff. I would recommend anybody to live here.
The place is good for medium income household. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have not had issues with infestations, no issues with neighbors, or staff. The complex is pet friendly, has a small gym, and two pools. The manager Kathy and Shandra are amazing in helping you get what you need and making sure that everything flows with out issue.
I have lived at this complex going on 5 years now and have seen a lot of transformation. There have been multiple changes in the staff over the years but I can honestly say that this current group of team members is of a different caliber. From the front office to the maintenance people, its just a totally different experience now. You can feel that they actually care and the way they treat their tenants is very professional and courteous. If you are looking for a place to call home, I highly recommend this property. You wont regret it. :)
I can say with 100% honesty that I have nothing good to say about this apartment complex. Throughout my stay at the complex, roughly 9 months, there was always issues with my apartment. Whether they were AC issues, restroom issues, or simply even the apartment itself. The condition of the unit that I had was obviously not kept tidy or neat, as I noticed many loose outlets, wobbly fan, and terribly dirty floors prior to my move-in date. The worst part about my experience was moving out. On my move-out date, I went to my apartment and my entire bedroom was trashed. Everything that was in my closet was thrown out onto the bedroom floor and obviously stepped on because I found dusty footprints on a number of my things. First of all, who let these people enter my apartment? Second of all, why did these people even throw my things around? Im disappointed by the negligence of the staff at this complex, and I would not recommend ANYONE to stay here. At all.
I love working with Kathy because she is really awesome with helping me to solve any problem or issue that I might have that comes up. I am thankful for her help and support.
I have enjoy my apartment when I moved in over the summer, the people who work here are great and very helpful with information. My work orders get resolved fast and the office people call back to make sure it was handled. Great team here at this property. I highly recommend.
Highly recommend!!... Super friendly staff... Overall great experience. I moved in to the Almeda at the Medical Center apartments this summer and I must say that the experience I had exceeded my expectations. The staff is beyond five stars, always eager to help and ready to assist me with any concern. Whenever I go to the office they are friendly and even remember me by my name. The maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner. I love having the peace of mind that if anything comes up they will always have a excellent team with a great customer service attitude that I can count on.The facilities are very well kept, always clean and with a freshly painted look. My unit is very nice, clean and cozy as well, the location is great and the community overall has been amazing and secure.
The management team is fantastic! The office staffs (especially Maggie)are very nice and friendly. Every time when I have questions, they get back to me quickly. This apartment is beautiful. The management keeps the complex very clean. I always see maintenance staffs clean the complex all the time which I like it very much. The location is very awesome. So close to the medical center.
I like the maintenance team here. They are the best I have ever seen. 5 star team in a cheaper apartment complex. It’s safe here, people are very friendly. My only reason to move out: my new upstairs neighbors after my first super friendly and conscientious neighbor move out, they are loud. We prefer quite after 10pm during work days. They start to work out (I guess) around 10, by stomping around bedroom in circles. Then start to watch TV at 11pm, with their TV placed on floor, not on a TV table. I choose not to bring this up to the office or talk to them. Just move and avoid problem. Last time they wash cloths in bath tub caused leaking in my bedroom, I submitted a work order. The next day, the person’s dad knocked my door very angrily, saying I complained about them to the leasing office. Why this Chinese girl act really friendly but would be against them in their back. Why I don’t let them know. I was just submitting a work order to ask the leasing office to fix my ceiling. So I think the noise is not because the apartment building, just who and how they live. I would say no problem to live in 7100 almeda if you are lucky to have conscientious neighbors or have patience and guts to file complaints and let leading office step in to solve issues. I am so glad I am moving in 1 week. Upstairs stomping in circles, keep going til almost 12 am, ceiling shakes.
If you are looking for a beautiful apartment this is the spot! Not only are they beautiful the office staff is so amazing. They really made finding my new home super easy.
I recently moved into the 7100 Almeda Apartments. Throughout the application process, the leasing staff members were courteous and responsive. Maggie answered all my questions and concerns. The apartment grounds are well maintained and the pools are clean.
The property manager is very passive aggressive. I experienced discrimination from both her and one of the maintenance guys. I booked an Airbnb through the property manager and she didnt put me in the apartment listed. There were roaches and other bugs throughout the apartment. The maintenance guy changed the light in the kitchen and left the two he took out on top of the freezer. It fell on me after opening the freezer, cut my arm and my foot. When he came to clean it up, he didnt apologize for his negligence which showed his carelessness and discriminatory behavior. My stay at the apartment was cut short by the property manager because she was no longer comfortable with me staying there, mind you I didnt do anything except take my concerns to Airbnb customer support. I wasnt unruly, disrespectful, or disruptive. Guests of people who live here or book Airbnb reservations here are not allowed to have use any of the amenities on the property. Apparently they watch you and your guests very closely. The property manager didnt acknowledge the negligence of her team member either. No apology or anything. I cant wait until my lawyers gets a hold of the pictures.
This was my first time renting an apartment, and although my own naivety caused some problems, the staff was really good at helping me out. They had good recommendations for everything I needed and are incredibly nice to boot. As far as the apartment itself, its cozy and as I mentioned before this is my first so I have nothing to compare it to, but its been really nice so far. If youre reading this then you should definitely at least visit 7100 to see for yourself!
As a delivery driver I have been to this location many times. The property is attractive and clean, the apartments are attractive as well. They have a security gate, but I never had an issue getting into this place even as a non-resident. They do have wonderful coffee in the office and the staff is super friendly! Great job guys. Close to downtown and Medical Center, this could be your new home!
Amazing staff, my mother and I enjoy our apartment. Great area!! I highly recommend this place.
This is an amazing place to live. The staff are awesome. They are more than willing to help you and to accommodate you. I recommend living here!
Its been about a year I am living here.Great place! Good service. Not expensive.Close to UH, Rice, Downtown and Medical center.Note: This was one of the few places that did not flood during the Hurricane Harvey.
A great place to live. The office staff are really helpful and friendly. The complex itself is well-maintained, and apartment repairs are handled quickly and professionally.
Moved into the property today and Shaundra, Kathy, and Luis have been a pleasure to work with. They are on point with respect to transparency of what is required to move in and showing all facets of the apartment complex. It is with much sincerity that I recommend this establishment to movers who are looking for a quick and easy move in with no hassles and great customer centric staff.
Lived here for 4 years and absolutely loved it. The leasing office staff was always nice as well as maintenance. The only thing I didnt like right now is that there was only 1 person in the office because everyone had left for the day.
I had the joy of coming home to someone in my parking spot, and was forced to park far from my apartment. When I notified the leasing office all they had to say was oops my bad. I love how they can take my money, but manage this complex poorly. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! I cant wait until my lease is up.
This place is amazing!! The staff is very respectful and helpful, I recommend dealing with MAGGIE, SHE IS THE BEST!!!!!! The apartments are very well maintained, the maintenance crews have property clean and fix anything immediately. If you looking for a place to live and in a great location THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!
The best team so far since I have been here, they had a few changes last year but 2018 way to go office staff. You guys are the best!!
Management is so nice and the maintenance team stay on top of things. Ive lived here for 2 years and would recommend this community to anyone looking for a nice place to call home.
The staff were amazing and so attentive. The complex is very well managed and clean. Overall wonderful experience!
I had a wonderful experience at this complex. I want to give a huge thanks to leasing agent Jennifer! She was professional, friendly and extremely helpful in helping me with a great deal. She took her time to ensure all of my needs were met and questions answered. I would definitely recommend anyone in the market for an affordable home to stop by and take a tour of the nice location & amenities!
If youre ever looking for an apartment, this is the place! I had a wonderful experience at this complex. The office staff is so amazing, courteous, professional, and friendly, Maggie was so polite and patient with all my questions . Complex is very well kept and clean, prices are very reasonable and so close to med center and downtown.
I have lived here since start of 2016 and so far my experience has been pretty good. The staff is cooperative even if some of them keep shuffling. Bernice pays attentions to our concerns. The maintenance staff is good too. The location is good for people who work in downtown and around. I would recommend this place to people.
Peaceful complex. Shaundra and Kathy at the leasing office are great. Theyve been extremely patient and helpful.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!This was the WORST living experience I’ve ever had! I paid my rent on time EVERY month, yet when I called to complain about issues in my apartment it would take forever! My AC was leaking for weeks! It had my carpet soaking wet and was getting in the wall! It was smelling! They came and vacuumed the water out but didn’t change the padding under! My microwave went out, they kept saying they were ordering me one! After a month, I contacted corporate they contacted me stating my microwave had come in, the maintenance guy walked in with a mini MAINSTAYS microwave from Wal-Mart! I’m HIGHLY allergic to cats and also terrified of them! I complained over and over and over and over about the cats! Some days I couldn’t even walk out my front door! They would even be on my TRUCK! Imagine being terrified of something and it jumps down off your car while you’re getting in! And allI kept getting was, “Oh that’s a sweet cat, he won’t hurt you!”Walked outside one morning to see glass on the ground where someone had broken into at least 6 cars! (This is what I saw on my side of the apartments) The leasing office did not notify anyone that this was going on! I learned from a neighbor that this had been happening for 3 weeks!!!!Icing on the cake, I moved out on my move out date! Called the office to confirm my move out! I asked if I needed to bring the keys in or the prorated rent! The agent said no, just leave your apartment keys, mailbox keys and the money order on the bar and I’ll go get it! I receive a collection call, 3 weeks later for $400+ dollars with numerous false charges! Including the prorated rent amount from which I’d left on the bar AND charging me for extra days, stating I didn’t move out when my lease was up! They said I didn’t clean and sweep the apartment but yet charged me for leaving the broom, dust pan and mop! No one contacted me from the apartments prior to them sending it to collections! I would have definitely addressed the issue prior to! But that’s just how they are! UNPROFESSIONAL! I wouldn’t advice anyone to move into there AWFUL apartments!
This property is awesome, and well maintained!! Customer service is excellent, the entire staff were very professional & helpful. Highly recommend.
Recently moved in..my move in experience was great, thanks to leasing agent Brandon!! He really took the time to ensure all areas was satifactory to my needs. All staff was nice and professional.
Amazing customer service the property always looks amazing. They’re very helpful when I call (highly recommend Maggie she amazing) at all times very nice the whole staff is always willing to do what they can do assist my concerns!
Ive worked here over a year and its been amazing. Enjoy working with all my coworkers and my residents!#7100ALMEDATEAM
THE MANAGER, KATHY DeLACRUZ, IS A VERY GENEROUS EMPLOYEE OF ADARA COMMUNITIES WHO TREATS HER TENANTS AS IF WE WERE HER OWN FAMILY. SHE BRINGS A GREAT VIBE OVER THE COMMUNITY AND A SENSE OF NEVER SEEMING TO FAIL WHEN CORRECTING ANY SORT OF PROBLEMS NOT YET RESOLVED. SHE LITERALLY PUTS THE TEAM ON HER BACK! You will not be a dissatisfied customer when choosing 7100 Almeda Apartments. All thanks to Kathy DeLaCruz.
The staff is so pleasant and nice and super helpful! The office and apartments were nice and clean, just had a great experience definitely a contender!
The property manager is so attentive and shows she cares so much for the residents. The office staff in general is hands down one of the best I’ve experienced in a long time, it’s so refreshing.
Only if I could give a zero. Lost packages to ant problem to a new staff every month. Where do I start. Please do not move here. Please please please. Next door across the street and around the corner will be better options for you. I hate this place and there is nothing worse than hating where you live. Cant wait till my lease is up. I had 6 work order request in 4 months from microwave being a mix match with the stove all old appliances might I add. Just do better I wish I did.
When I moved in I was very concerned that I would move into old carpet, and I have really bad allergies. I spoke with the manager upfront how I felt about that and my health. She informed me not a problem and told me that she would find a unit that she would indeed herself want to live in. Boy was she right, she pick me out a upgraded apt with new hardwood and new carpet. The cabinets seem to be new and i also have upgraded black appliances. It also included a full washer and dryer I was very impressed by her performance as she was proud of being there . Never in my life have a experienced a well put together team who wants and cares that there residents are happy. I am glad that I moved here and the price is perfect for this area especially with all the new gadgets i have.
Predatory landlord practices! Sent me an email 2 years after I stopped living there demanding more money without any explanation.
Ive been living here since August and so far so good. Im a student and its quiet enough for me to study in my apartment. The one bedroom is the perfect size for one person. The apartment was very clean when I moved in. Neighbors are nice. Maintenance is quick. Leasing staff was super helpful when leased. Never had a problem with packages. I did have a problem with ants in my bathroom but with constant pest control and excessive cleaning I havent seen any. Im anticipating more bugs as it gets warmer because being realistic its Houston...there will always be bugs. Other than that Id recommend this place
Signed a 15month lease at this property with an amazing staff and office Manager Kathy, property very well maintained was a huge plus for me!
Great place. Very well maintained. Friendly associates. Calm neighborhood. Ample ameneties.
Bad
I have nothing bad to say about the Apartments or the staff. But I am not happy how I was expected to pay over one thousand of deposit even though I have over 625 credit with a good job.
Let me just start with saying that this is by far the WORST community we have lived in. The property manager Kathy is a LIAR! She claims she has never spoken to me over the phone regarding the leak in the ceiling that by the way still has not been fixed and it has been over a week. The refrigerator has been leaking for over two weeks and still hasn’t been fixed. Oh and let me tell you the most interesting part is that we are being charged $150 for water damages in the unit below us, which was also reported but that also was never received. That’s being considered “tenant damages.” I have a trail of email where Kathy not once acknowledged the fact that she is the person I spoke to regarding the leak in the ceiling. I spoke to the supervisor Kimberly on Thursday of last week and still have not heard back from her. Just to think we have to deal with liars, unreliable and lazy people for another 11 months.
Door was busted in while living here. Management enter my apartment at least twice without notice. Gate is consistently broken. Three manager in 9 months.Would not recommend living here.
Toured 2 times and both times were great. I’ve applied and I can’t wait to move in to my new apartment.
Visited a friend and really liked the community, considering moving in August here.
Excellent Team, Hands on and responsive in all areas.
7100 almeda gave me the worst experience of renting. Everything looked good when I applied for it, location, promise of discount of rent, nice managers and quick response to email. The day I moved in, I found a den in the bath tub and it was covered by white plastic which floated when water was filled in. I got a key to the gate for pedestrians and found the lock on the gate missing. Eight out of ten months, the gate was left open with a hole where the lock should be. Everyone outside of the community can walk in. Most of the cycles and walking machines in the fitting room did not work. I heard rats running at night and saw roaches in the kitchen. Pest control people came twice and the condition did not improve.I would give them four stars even if these were all I have been through. The reason I gave them one star is they cheated on the discount of rent. I got a 4-week rent discount with one-year contract from 2016 to 2017 in the contract, but it never showed on my bills! I emailed the managers and walked in to talk to them, they agreed that it was their mistake to not put it on my bills, but said that was part of 2016 promotion, and could not be applied to my 2017 bills. I patiently communicated with the managers, they just refused to give me the discount and at the same time used the money they owned me to blackmail me to renew the contract. One manager told me in the office that I should paid the bill of current month and she would ask the supervisor to give me the discount in the next bill. After I paid my current bill, she refused saying these words and wrote me an mail saying that they would give me the discount only if I renewed the contract. After asking around, I found I am not the only one with this experience. They got promise of a discount from the managers in words and was pissed off after they moved in.
Just want to say that the office staff at 7100 almeda is bar far the best staff that i have been around. Very friendly, very outgoing, and most importantly they care about there tenets. But i have to give a big shout out 2 of coolest staff members Mrs. Megan and my BFF Jennifer Aguilar. They definitely Rock....
The worst living experience ever!!! I lived in the residence for 8 months and had to move because I was attacked by a homeless person and almost sexually assulted!! Pool was never clean! Also, roaches invaded my apartment from the day I got there until the day I left. A staff member even came in and seen roaches coming out of the wall & I still had nothing done except the same pest control!!! Location is perfect, but they have some serious problems they need to fix.
The staff is amazing!!! A1!!!!!! Top of the line! True customer service makes me feel like VIP very important person!!! Love Them!!!
2020 - 1 star: I enjoyed living at 7100 Almeda due to the location and quiet community. However, Im really disappointed with the new leasing team at 7100 Almeda. I loved when Megan and Jennifer were around. I felt taken care of and at home on the property. The new team changed policies without notifying tenants - not me, at least. For example: covered parking spaces were month to month when I arrived but now tenants sign up for covered spaces for the duration of the lease. During my walk through while moving out, Taylor advised me to clean the drip pans and vacuum the carpet. However, I feel a bit betrayed and robbed since Taylor never mentioned nor suggested a carpet shampoo (even after telling her this was my first time renting a unit. I guess thats not her duty, but she seemed like she cared to help). Eventually, she charged me a pet carpet cleaning fee. When I called the office they claimed it was due to stains in the carpet when they pulled/ lifted it back. I never had a pet while living there and I hardly ever had guest over. Im waiting to see the before and after pictures which Ive requested to be emailed to me. Im also worried that they do not change the carpet between tenants. It was already in poor shape when I got there. Being my first time, I didnt think to note it when I moved in. Lesson learned.Taylor told me a few times before I left that she would call me (after she received my keys dropped off by a friend and after she did my final walk through to discuss any charges), but I never heard from her. I had to call her to confirm that she received my keys. Ive also tried to contact her to hear what happened with my walk through directly from her, but I havent received a call back & its been two weeks. Not sure if the team has trouble communicating, if no one cared to let her know that I called, or perhaps she just didnt care to call me back. Everytime Ive called the office shes either not there or busy. Another girl in the office is quite rude. Eventually, I got sick of calling. I really want to let go of the deposit they took from me, but I feel like they just took advantage of me. Its not about the money, its about principle and good customer service. Im still in disbelief that an apartment complex as large as 7100 Almeda at the med center would need to take deposits to replace or freshen up carpets. Youd think that this would be a given. I guess you get what you pay for... shady business.2019 - 5 stars: Ive really enjoyed living at 7100 Almeda. Its the best value Ive found in terms of cost and location within the loop. I had a rough start when I first moved in, but Megan was and is always willing to sit with me and discuss any issue until its resolved. She takes note of what I need and keeps me updated! The maintenance team is great as well. They have a quick turn around time with service requests. The staff is always pleasant when I visit the office and Jennifer always asks how she can help, even if shes with a client. Something I really appreciate is that they receive our packages for us and keep them in a private room. You dont get that everywhere. If youre looking for a place, check this one out!
If you have ANY alternative to these apartments, take it. Do not live here. The complex is falling apart, and there does not seem to be anything being done to slow the decay.Pros:1. Easy access to the parking lot (there is ZERO security)2. Great place to meet your neighbors (the walls are VERY thin)3. Plenty of chances to improve your home repair skills (maintenance tries hard, but these apartments are too old).Cons:1. Thieves love this place. The security gate is almost always unlocked/open and if it isnt, its usually broken. Two days ago, two cars had all their tires stolen. Bikes have accessories stolen off them regularly. Cars are gone through whenever the opportunity presents itself.2. Management has little/no authority to make changes. The standard response to punt the opportunity to improve a residents experience with Well ask Corporate. The results is inevitably...Corporate said no.3. The laundry isnt in the unit, its on the balcony. Dont try leaving a laundry basket on the patio or youll get a notice of violating the patio clutter restrictions.4. If something cant be fixed (leaky faucet, AC, disposal...) management will tell you to live with it while they work things out with Corporate. *Refer to Con#2 to see how that turns out.Seriously, dont live here. I cant wait to move.
I have experience a good time here at 7100 almeda st apartments manager nice staff nice over all i would tell my friends about here so if you look to rent please visit here a try them out its really a nice quite place to live close to downtown and medical center and NRG o
My lease was just up and glad it was . This is not a good place to live unless you are trying to be roommates with roaches mind you I am a clean person . I had to do a service request every week to have pest control do my unit .
I look forward to making the community my new home the office staff was so welcoming!
Great place to live ask for Jennifer in the leasing office and she will help you get a great deal.
Very nice and friendly place the staff in the leasing office are very nice and kind👌👍
Property manager and staff are very friendly and helpful....Property is well kept, flexible lease terms, if you are looking for a well kept property w great family customer oriented.. this is the place for you...😁
DO NOT MOVE HERE.Ive only been here a week, and am already looking for another place to live.Upon moving in, I immediately marched back into the office due to the fact that my apartment was FILTHY. They didnt bother to clean up after the previous tenant. It was so bad that I was afraid to touch anything in the kitchen and bathroom. The counters and appliances are very worn and gross looking- to the point where Im embarrassed to invite people over. Also, the AC has not worked SINCE I MOVED IN. Ive called the office 5 times in a week and each time the maintenance crew will tweak one little thing- hoping it will work. Nothing theyve tried has helped. They seem to be content doing the bare minimum amount of effort.I am usually a sickeningly positive person, so the fact that Im leaving this review should speak for how bad this complex is.Run. Save yourself.
Reading these reviews I’m wondering what office team are you guys referring to cause I have been getting nothing but rude office working and that’s a turn off when applying for an apartment!
You get what you pay for if not worse, no wonder the next door complexes charge a couple of hundreds more but I just realized it will be worth it to live in a newer and cleaner place with better management and maintenance staff. They promise you things at the beginning and once you sign the lease “they never heard of”! No one takes responsibility and they don’t even apologize for their misleading! They tend to make it its your fault!! You can talk to them 10 times about maintenance requests or what you were promised but it all goes to deaf ears!! no effective outcome!! They never change very old torn pieces that are clearly falling apart! “as long as they even partially work, all good”!! I see roaches every day by the door, I don’t have high expectations from the beginning but at least I excepted them to stick to their words and be responsible, this is the least an office staff can do if they want to be cheap! Im very dismayed and disappointed and can’t wait to move out once my term is up soon.
Friendly staff! Jessica is great...have been living here for 4+ years.....and havent had any serious issues
Rate has gone up $100 in less then 2 years price per square foot is same as newer apt buildings. The apartment are very old I dont have a problem with that i wish they would be cheaper then the brand new apt complex on ost and almeda
I currently live here the customer service is horrible takes them forever to fix anything i told them my apartment was flooding and they said it wasnt an emergency. It also took them over a year to replace a screen on my patio that i paid for and they removed. Dont waste your time here staff is unprofessional.
I stayed here for about a year before I recently bought my house in Stafford . Excellent staff and every problem if any occured was well taken care of with no hastle...
The staff is amazing, very energetic people in the office.
Just moved in I really like the space. The staff is very professional. I couldnt ask for more.
This is the worst apartment I ever rented, the staff are very rude, and they charged $100 for several vegetable leaves in the fridge. Holly bad, when I want the $100 back they said you can sue us...
